The lady at the counter was very nice

Worst McDonald's I ever came across! I order lunch at 10:30 and it seems like they gave me yesterday food French fries was extremely old very nasty! Service not to friendly very disappointed.

Smells like throw up in there don’t recommend

I would give it 0 stars if it was possible. I have had to return my food 4 times this month. Either because it is wayyyy old and so cold the cheese isn't even melted. And this last time my burger was still bleeding. And when you try and return it, no matter how polite and apoplectic I am, the are very nasty and rude. Like they get paid to fix and serve an edible meal and get mad when they don't and actually have to stop socializing and do they job.

Ordered a mobile order drive thru. Asked for a sandwich with only cheese just to be given one with everything. I’m pretty sure it’s easy to make a sandwich. No schooling needed. There was little to no customers. Yet, they mistake my order and make my pull into curbside!? Please. These workers look/seem lazy. I’m wasting my gas waiting for my order that they made a mistake on.

Pick-up orders delivered late always.

1 star is generous here. Not only did they get the order wrong, but I’ve had 3 different employees ask me what I ordered even though I gave them the sandwich back and WHAT I ACTUALLY ASKED FOR IS RIGHT ON THE BOX. What should’ve been a 5 minute stop turned into more than 30 minutes for them to fix a fish sandwich. Customer service is awful at this location.

We went at peak time. Food was hot, and service could be faster, and some things like lids and drinks were not stocked. When we asked for lids, we were handed 20 lids.... we're we supposed to stick them for them?

They stack cars up around the corner so you don't know they are backed up with 30 minute waits for the wrong food.

This McDonald's is consistently the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. It doesn't matter what day of the week or what time of day, it always takes a solid 10 minutes from the time you order until you get through the rest of the drive thru. It's ridiculous. I wrote this while in the drive thru.

No ice, food tossed through my window, burgers were made wrong. Didn't bother returning because I knew I'd be shoo'd away. Despicable McDonalds.

Asked for a latte and was told the machine has been broken for a year. Got a frappe instead and the ice in that prevented me form drinking it through a straw. So much for Mcdonalds Mcafe.

When we got to the pay window they had our order wrong and asked more than once “You didn’t order that?” After we got the order straightened out and I paid I heard the lady at the window speak into her mic and said, “We’re out of coke.” When I asked her if they were out of coke she said they will tell me at the pickup window. Really? I said we didn’t want any other drink and asked to cancel my order and give me a credit on my credit card. She had a slight “attitude” closed the window and called for the manager. The manager did refund my charge but the total experience was not a good one. We drove several miles up the road and found another McDonald’s. No problems.

They laughed and joked and played nonstop while my food was waiting. They all are on their phones and playing with each other like they arnt clocked in. Horrible experience

Service was fine but the food wasn’t great. We ordered 4 breakfast burritos & each one the tortilla was stuck to the wrapper like it had been wrapped up for days. Definitely not freshly made.

The place was discusting. Don’t believe the counters had been cleaned all day. Have never been in a dirtier McDonalds. Plenty of help just standing around joking with each other.

Going through drive thru there is a nightmare, was exited to see little cars in line only to get order taken and being told to park next to pick up order parking which was pack. Only for a kids meal and pie. People after me were leaving and ended up having to go in for my order. No apologies give, defeated the purpose of drive thru...

My husband loves the BIC Mäc 🍔 in between... many people know them and you don't need to say anything about them.

Gets meals wrong more than right

Literally ordered and had to wait 30 mins for cold food and I ordered from app, app said food was delivered and it was not brought out to car until 20 mins after they said order was delivered. I had to call the store to ask what is going on.

Came to this McDonald's and I was completely dissatisfied with the experience I had in the Drive-Thru. And although I was unsatisfied with the nearly 1 hour long wait the day before I am making this review, there are very little options of restaurants in Wauchula Florida so I decided to try to go through the line again the next day just for one McChicken using my app with a code and I waited a good 30 minutes and there was only four cars ahead of me.

Very long wait time in comparison to other MacDonalds with similar traffic.

I had more than 15 minutes in line so that when they measured the food, the one who took my order charged for the one that was not, and the food was cold and the order was half bad, bad service

I am tired of being asked to pull around at the window. I go through the drive thru so I can get fast food; not to sit and wait a long time. It's amazing how fast I have gotten my food when I don't pull around or go to a mobile spot.

Wanted to place an order at the counter. 2 employees, each standing at a register. One can't take my order because they are waiting on an employee order & the employee is looking for a manager. Heaven forbid they cancel the employee order, take mine & then redo employee order. The other employee can't even acknowledge that I'm standing there. So I went across the street to Sonic where I was waited on right away.

Absolutely terrible once again. How do you not have anything to sell people to drink during a lunch break with zero signs on the door. Another poorly managed fast food restaurant in our little town because since it's the only one of that chain available then you're going to go there. Update as of 2-1-24, still slow even the drive thru.

We were under the impression that our food would be delivered to the table, but they called our number. The fries were not as hot as usual. The sundaes had only sauce on the bottom. The whole place could have used a good cleaning.

Absolutely horrible. Waited 20 minutes just to have my order taken because the orders of 3 cars were taken 2 TIMES! One a couple cars ahead of me and the other time when I was waiting for my order to be taken. When someone finally talked to me, she took half of my order and a minute later another girl took over to take the rest. The attitude here is unbelievable. It would seem easy enough to run a fast food restaurant, but I guess it’s hard for some people. Took me another 20 minutes to get my food because the line wasn’t moving at all. Horrible every time I come here. Good luck.

Oh my Gosh idk even who to call or tell but I went in this McDonald's to day and the entire place smelled like a dead body I'm not over exaggerating I know what a rotting dead body smells like it's a freaking dead body!!!!!

Slow service. 2 minutes to get 'fast food's? Really? We observed the kitchen staff eating bomb pops in the food prep area in violation of health codes. Restaurant was dirty. Not just the tables but the prep area and the counters. Had to ask for drink lids as they were out and no one was keeping up with the drink area.

Went inside and wanted to pay cash. I waited 20 minutes. No one would help me. You can only eat here if you want to order through the computer kiosk. I left, without food.

Very disappointed with their customer service! Drive thru service is horrible speakers never work correctly, display always is OFF. Always give customer wrong or missing orders. If you try to correct your order, they just give you an attitude with rolled eyes. I strongly don't recommend this place in Arcadia. Good Luck.

Store was dirty and fries tasted horrible. First time I have ever tossed my McDonald's fries in the trash. The bathroom floor was sticky and it smelled like a month old dirty diaper Genie. Not many places to eat on Hwy 17 but we have officially fired this McDonalds.

4/27/23. Extremely rude manager. Had to knock on door to get her to unlock it, an hour after posted opening time of 5 am. She did so with an eye roll and a quick turn away from us. Waited 5-7 minutes to get any service, from rude manager who obviously hated her job. Then slow moving employees started trickling in, ignoring customers in line. Well except for what seem to be regulars who were given coffee. Manager dropped burrito while throwing food in bag. She did ask for another. Food was dry, my coffee was no doubt day old brew, barely warm and awful. My mother in-law had to go behind counter for cream and sugar while employees pretty much ignored her. Not one spoke to her. Absolutely without question the worst, dirtiest, most incompetent McDonalds EVER!! We stopped at many on our trip to Maine and all was great except this dump. One star is one more that this dive deserves.

Just to get a coffee. 8 minutes from the time I ordered. Regular coffee, no extras, no customers waiting with 9 people on shift. Aweful service

We always stop here after going to the river all day and never have any problems.

The night crew is mainly why they lost a star. Most of the time systems are down. Cash only.orders are done sloppy, half the time cold and wrong. Day time to There's almost always a wait but everything else makes up for it.

The girls who served me were very rude, they don't look at your face, they don't pay attention to what they are doing, they just laugh among themselves and not doing the job, and worst of all, they gave me the wrong order

They had no chicken patties, no nuggets, 4 drinks to choose from, were only taking cash, no ice cream - but that's every day as soon as the sun sets, and only one burger patty weight. We left.

Fast service at drive thru....and understand why. The fries were no where near dine? They were hot and heated threw but limp no crunch. I am pretty sure my 1/4 #r had a big Mac burger on it. ? Worst mc D food I have ever had. Slow it down a bit...and get the quality up there.

It's McDonald's.... how did it get so expensive?

The place was dirty with no tables we could sit at without having to clean it ourselves. Not just trash but plenty of stains and messes that were clearly there for a while with no one aiming to clean it. When approaching the manager, she refused to even so much as acknowledge us, clearly purposefully ignoring us. Not on break either, from what we could tell. Just outright refused to help. The cashier had a good attitude, at the very least. The food, unfortunately, was not great. Fries were limp with no salt, nuggets were very oddly dry, I asked and paid for extra cheese on my fish sandwich and I had to go back up front because they forgot the cheese. Overall, an extremely poor experience, even when compared to other McDonald's.

They are the worst waited in curbside for half an hour then they forgot half my order when I went inside called when got which is 30 min drive said they replace it if I come in today or tmw ok what about dinner right now 3 kids and it’s 530pm

This mcds is run by idiots and they will absolutely always get your order wrong. If you order sauces always check your bag bc 100% guarantee they did not put it in the bag. Everyone needs to either be retrained or they should fire everyone and start with a fresh new staff bc they couldn't be more incompetent if they were paid to be.

This location is absolutely a epic failure of a McDonald's. Always dirty and nasty inside. This morning went through the drive through to avoid that and they made sure to still disappoint me. Tried to charge me for someone else's food. Was nice and paid for mine and theirs to pay it forward. Then had me park and wait and after 10 mins had to go inside to get it myself. The burnt to a crispy death chicken on my biscuit sealed the deal for me. Burger King from now on for me.

If you just got off for lunch break and need to get lunch quickly then the drive thru is clearly a good option if your fine with mistakes in your order. Going inside is better because the chance of your food being messed up is much lower however your order is the lowest priority.
