Had a friend's get together at Michael Angelo's Fairfield.... wonderful time !!! The food was outstanding as was the service . Joe, our waiter went out of his way to make sure we were happy and all was well! Mike, the owner came to our table to say hello and we reminisced about the older days when he/the restaurant was on Bloomfield Ave in Newark. Fabulous time. .fabulous meal...thank you Mike and your staff. We'll be back for sure!!!

Great food, great service and nice atmosphere..

Michael and his staff were amazing and I am so happy with our choice to host our daughter’s graduation party there. The room was simple and was perfect for our 45 guests. The staff were so nice and timed everything perfectly. The food was excellent and we received so many compliments from our guests. Our dinner party was hosted on one of the hottest days of the season so far and Michael went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of our guests. We can’t thank you enough Michael!!! We will be back!!!

I truly know how hare the restaurant business is but train your people they want you to eat appetizers and diner in 45 minutes we were the only people there and they rushed us out . Calamari ginger amazing the sausage with long hots and potatoes was ok just not as good as I know they can make main course tripe worst I ever had in an Italian restaurant ot was morw like South American tripe not good I would try again because everyone can have an off day but the service was horrible. They should not say they are any like the belmont tavern because they don't come close on any angle. But I do wish them the best. It's a tough business.

8:35pm just called to order a pizza to pickup. Whoever answered said they're closed already. If your store hours are until 9pm you should honor that. Thanks for nothing.

This is the real deal Italian home cooking with quality ingredients. Just found this restaurant. Prices are very good, service is very attentive. And they have a party room. All dishes were very nice size - had to takr food home.

It’s my second time here was super disappointed had the chicken savoy and it tasted so overwhelming with vinegar it made you cough as you ate. It burned my stomach. Didn’t eat it, and mentioned to the waiter that it was so strong as he agreed. Much better restaurants in the area to have great food.

The food was absolutely GREAT. Use to go when in Newark, food is just as delicious as I remember. My new go to Italian spot. Service was excellent. Owner was friendly, had nice conversation with my wife about the good old days in Newark.

Pizza is fantastic. Was there for a Christmas party and all of the food was delicious. Chicken parm and the rigatoni vodka were awesome. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely worth having a meal here.

I’m writing this for my father. He was craving Mott Street NYC shrimp and calamari but didn’t feel like going to the City. He was in the area and decided to give this place a try. He was very impressed and said it was just as good if not better than Little Italy! It wasn’t exactly on the menu but they still went out of the way to accommodate him-biscuits and all! Macaroni and clams . Not sure if they were even clams! Diced up in red sauce with posta. I’ve had posta and clams countless times and this dish resembled nothing I have ever seen or eaten! Service was poor and over priced as well. Lemon water ? No lemons or straws. Not a good experience unfortunately! So sorry s for such a bad review because I’ve heard so many good things about this place.

Food was good, on the order of average as was the service. No real complaints other than the price for average food. I felt the price was a bit high for the quality, but prices are up everywhere.

They know how to cook here. Don’t let the fact that it’s attached to a comfort inn throw you off.
