Always great food and great service.

There is NO BOOZE, NO BEER, NO BLOODY MARY'S and $15 a person is a bit pricey. Most likely it's a Google problem. It's a great restaurant but it shouldn't say BOOZE and have pictures of BLOODY MARY'S...it's very disappointing 🤣 when you find out...

Definitely not the best breakfast in town Poor service I addressed my concern no one would fix So now I’m leaving a review instead Revise:::: she checked on my one time when I said excuse me 3 times the only time she came without me having to call her was for the initial order taking and food drop off she walked past twice while we where eating waitresses usually ask hows everything she did not I had to stop her please be honest! She offered me grits I said no she offered me fruit I said no by time this happened yes I was perturbed and said forget it And now the owner does not address concerns I will not eat here again nor recommend it Bottom line my food was burnt it was disgusting and I didn’t get a replacement no I don’t want grits instead! and you stand up for incorrect employees instead of local customers this is bad for business

Visited Mikes quite often in the past while on vacation in Daytona My family and I was there this past weekend and it was terrible. Food came out cold Eggs and ham was burt Sent the potatoes back to put back on the grill to get heated up came back warm. When we got back to the hotel after a few hours Threw everything up Very disappointed and won’t be back Staffing was very nice Food was awful 👎

They claim best breakfast in town according to a sign on their building. Well, I went in...and found out it's the best breakfast in town! I'm going to definitely come back. Good portion sizes, good service, clean, friendly staff. 5 stars!

Took one of my BFFs who was visiting from out of town and our 3 adult children put for brunch. We were seated but had to wait on 2 of the kids to arrive. Everyone was so nice to us! Didn't make us feel awkward as we waited. Had the most delicious breakfast, as always! Our server was awesome! Lots of smiles, joking and delicious food. Took good care of our server who took good care of us..

Funny, friendly, busy, simple menu. Read the menu and don't ask for stuff they don't do (listed on the menu), like the table next to us 😉. If you have picky eaters in your group, plan ahead. Overly filling portions. Great way to start the day! The ladies' room made me lololololol!

Fantastic breakfast! Absolutely gigantic cinnamon rolls that are made in house and absolutely delicious! Friendly staff that treat you like friends and family.

This place is best on Daytona Beach and we are picky. Ouida is the finest waitress....so attentive. Super accommating. Food is ample and hot!!! It made up feel like home.

It's a hit and miss depending on the day and servers. Some don't realize that when they talk customers can hear everything said ....not nice to complain about other employees in front of customers. It's a real turn off!

RUDE WAITRESS, AND WAIT WAS RIDICULOUS. I understand if you’re busy but theres a way to handle it. Heres an example: “Good morning my name is Justin I’ll be your server. We are a bit busy, give me a quick moment and I’ll be with you (while smiling). Is it too much to ask to be courteous these days? Seriously. With how expensive things are you shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience. Heres an example of being courteous, I tipped 20% still even though they should have paid me. Really frustrating especially while on vacation. Stereotypical diner staff. P.S the cinnamon roll was great!

This place is awesome!!! I had the Pileup. It was worth every penny, it was all I could do to finish it. Topped it off with a giant cinnamon roll for dessert much later. Another one of my favorites when in town.

Good portion sizes and fresh ingredients. I had the Greek egg mix which was very good. Our server was fantastic.

We made a special morning trip to come and eat at mikes galley , it was busy, we did get in quickly, we were seated and in about 10 min the waitress finally came and took our order. After waiting and watching other tables that came in after us being served and our waitress seemed to be interested in what those other customers, we finally asked her about our order. 40 min later ,she told us our order did not get put in. By this time we were late for our next appointment. We left hungry … not our fault

Mike's is a great place to eat everything made fresh. You can get some AWESOME bakery items, He's been a quality business a long time .

We have to visit every time we get to Daytona. Always good food, atmosphere and wonderful staff.

Only good to report here on this first of what I foresee to be many visits to come. Not many other customers around 11:30am this Friday, which made for a peaceful dining experience where we could actually carry on a conversation without having to yell across the table or be annoyed by others conversations. We had the English Pub Style Fish & Chips and the Smokey Mix breakfast and both were very tasty and at a reasonable price. The ingredients were top notch and my aunt was very impressed with the freshness & taste of her Smokey Mix calling it one of the best breakfasts she's had out in a long while. Service was friendly and prompt and we never felt rushed but very relaxed. We can't wait to make another visit. Maybe on the next visit we'll end up taking home a HUGE cinnamon roll and/or some of the tasty looking pastries.

This is one of the best places in Daytona to have breakfast, we visit every year from Michigan!

If I could give a negative number I would. We were in there this past weekend and my 4 year old ordered chocolate chip pancakes after losing her order they finally brought out her food and oh course no chocolate chips in it so I asked for some to sprinkle on it so she waitress brought me some so I sprinkle it on and I kid you not there where maggots in it and now all over my daughters food. I have never been so disgusted in my life. Maggots don’t usually come from chocolate very rare so let that sink in. Will never ever go back!

Clean. Greated as we walked in. Fresh breakfast. Pleasantly surprised to see my over medium eggs actually arrive over medium, REAL butter on the table instead of margarine, and fresh fruit instead of canned. Not enough of these REAL diners left. Will be back! 💘

Serving sizes are pretty big, but super yummy!!! Definitely planning to go back every year we are in FL on vacation.

We stopped in for a late breakfast but wound up getting steak sandwiches instead. They were very good. We had French fries with the sandwiches. They were also very good. They food was hot and fresh. Our waitress was very nice. We will visit this place again next time we're in town.

I picked up a few things to go for breakfast. They were super nice. I had the Florida egg scramble and wife had the original beni. The crab and shrimp in my mix were very fresh and great flavor. Not really a lot of seasoning though. That works well for us, but some might find it a little plain. The home fries were probably the only miss. They just weren't cooked all the way. We will definitely try to eat in at least once while here on vaca. Definitely recommend to try.

Highly Recommend! My husband and I went for breakfast on our annual vacation to Daytona Beach & did not leave disappointed (nor hungry, lol). I ordered the Florida Seafood Mix pictured (an egg scramble with shrimp, crab meat, & provolone cheese) with wheat toast as my bread choice (they give you two huge pieces) and a big potato pancake (as my side choice). Extremely filling and delicious! My husband ordered The Pile Up (also pictured). His was homefries topped with bacon, two eggs, and sausage gravy. He ranked it as one of, if not, the best sausage gravy he's ever had. The servers gave top-knotch service and we loved the decorated feel and atmosphere of a local diner. They had Trivia Pursuit cards on the table that we played while waiting for our food to come out, which did not take long. When we walked in, we also eyed HUGE and delicious smelling fresh cinnamon rolls! Definitely will be making a return trip to this location on our future Daytona trips!

Restaurant with a long history in Daytona Beach Shores, now resident next to Red lobster. Pastries are his specialty but everything we've had had been great. Note: "omelettes not served here" - all sorts of eggs: Benedict scrambles, etc, so you're not really missing anything. (Not sure he could get all the ingredients from one of the scrambles into a single omelette.

Everything was super. Cute little restaurant decorated, beautifully as if you were in a beach side cabin. The food was real food, my sister and I shared a club sandwich, it had real turkey and ham with lettuce and tomato. When our order came out it was already divided into two plates with the fries and even a pickle slice cut in half. So so delicious. Mike's will be our go to whenever we're in Daytona Beach. They serve breakfast and lunch open at 7 am til 2 pm. Cannot say enough about how lovely everyone is, our waitress made us feel like family.

I'm so disappointed, I used to love their beer battered fish and chips. The fish is now a 1/3 of the size we used to receive and the batter inside was under cooked. We even went back a 2nd time thinking maybe it was just an off day. Nope. Definitely upset spending $60 on 4 fish lunches. The only thing I enjoy here are the waitresses & decorations.

Incredible location, outstanding food with so many house specialties, pastries fresh baked breads including the best rye I’ve had and an assortment of great candies for the road. Fun upbeat nostalgic vibe with great decoration and fun ambiance! The help is fantastic and friendly Marie and Kevin made sure my experience was perfect. Without a doubt best breakfast I’ve had In the area and maybe ever! Highest recommendation!!!

Was a nice little place, very family friendly. Met some friends to catch up. There was TONS of parking. Lots of seating for a bigger party. Food was very good. Portions were excellent size. They charged me slightly over $10 for a bacon, egg and cheese!!!!! That’s insane. The sandwich itself was good but not worth paying double the price
