Great little gem. I almost eat the bones too, it was that good

Went on a Friday looking for some good soul food. The food was cold, not good or fresh. Collards was too salty. Mac & Cheese was old & didn’t stick together. Ribs were decent tho! Husband had his food warned up in the microwave. We ate in; the place could be cleaner. Like swept & mopped for starters!

Amazing barbecue 🤤 tried some of their brisket and Mac'n' cheese tonight at an event. Looking forward to visiting their facility to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!!!

I was a little skeptical because it’s a tiny place, but surprisingly when you walk inside, it’s very clean. Service was very good and attentive and answered any questions I may have had because I’m very picky when it comes to barbecue. I chose the jerk chicken just to try it out for starters. The jerk seasoning was not as pronounced as I would like, but I can tell it was still freshly cooked and it was tender. The rice was a little bit mushy, but it was good enough. The macaroni and cheese was very good tasted like it was made with real cheese And topped with more cheese. My husband had the ribs, and he said that they were tender and tasted even better the next day. The lunch special is extremely affordable and if I was in the area and wanted a hot meal, I would definitely come back here to do just that.

Googled Soul Food in Orlando and this place among others popped up. The food was disgusting. The ribs were burnt with sauce slapped on it to hide the char. The macaroni wasn’t pleasant at all, cheese barely stuck to the noodles, and the greens tasted old and burnt way too much vinegar was used in the making of them. I’m highly disappointed ☹️ Please do better Nessa.

Food was sooo BOMB!! We came all the way from LA and this was honestly some of the best bbq, macaroni, & jerk chicken I’ve ever had. Wish we had one in cali 😭

Called on a Friday afternoon to request Saturday catering, Nessa was quickly able to accommodate. Professional, affordable and the food was amazing. Ordered a pan of Mac n cheese, baked beans, collards, pasta salad and rice. 10/10

No Brisket available during a weekend visit.

Food was very delicious! It’s rare you find a place that makes every dish very tasteful. The portion for the meat was smaller than expected but I would still order again

NC native here. This was quite possibly the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Just incredible. The BBQ sauce was so good too! And the Mac and cheese is not to be missed. What an amazing hidden gem!

First off, I’m a fool for not giving this place a shot sooner. I just finished the ribs, chicken, Mac, and corn I took to go. The meats were perfectly smoky, tender, full of flavor from the seasons/rub, and juicy. The sauce was fantastic, however the meats were so flavorful I didn’t even use that much of it. The Mac was great also. I will be back very soon to try anything else I’ll be lucky enough to (hopefully collards, beans, brisket). Thank you, Nessa’s!

We had Nessas BBQ caterer our party and the food was amazing. Everyone was saying how good the food was. I would highly recommend them for any event that you may have!!!

Let me just say I was prepared to be impressed, the place is clean, Nessa is nice and the food smelled terrific. Portions we good. BUT, 1/2 rack of the ribs were really tough. 2nd half were good. Sauce was phenomenal. Baked beans superb. Coleslaw was unique. Chicken and ribs were well smoked but they tasted like charcoal starter(fuel) as if the wood smoker was not allowed to burn off the fuel before loading the food. Also the pulled pork was really dry. Overall I would probably go to Sonny’s or Porkies in the future unless I wanted cheesecake. The cheesecake here looked good.

I ordered the smoked beef sausage on a bun w/ onion/peppers... so good. I tried to take a photo but it didn't last long enough. I had to eat the whole thing as fast as I could shovel it in my mouth. Don't sleep on Nessas' yall!

I had the ribs with mac and cheese and baked beans, and it was very good. The ribs were juicy with lots of meat and the mac & cheese, and beans were tasty as well.

The food was delicious! Oh my goodness! I will definitely be going back! The ribs were juicy and wonderfully seasoned, the mac n cheese had me speechless, and the backed beans had me wanting more. But, I was too full to go back for seconds. I'll be going back again soon for the dinner special..

My friends Colleen and Mary and I visited this little gem today after a girls day out while our husbands were working. At Colleen’s suggestion, we tried it and boy was it DELICIOUS!

We went to Nessas for the first time but certainly not the last. As soon as we entered the door, we were treated like old time friends. The food was amazing, better than any Chains in the area. We will be back!

OMg! Looking for a BBQ place and found this jewel. Great BBQ had the ribs, with Mc and Cheese and took home some pull pork.. great deal too. Also have some chesecake from the in shop, ocoee chesecake shop, super rich and creamy.

Went to Nessa’s today after doing a Google search for family friendly restaurants. We are a family of 6 and my kids who are very picky loved all of the food, we had the BBQ chicken, pulled pork, cabbage, fried okra, sweet potatoes, and baked beans. An amazing feast and the service was even better than the food. The atmosphere was so homey. It felt like I was talking to my grandmother as she was fixing me a plate in the kitchen. Good home cooking and incredible service, my wife and kids enjoyed it so I can’t be more satisfied with the experience!! If you are in the Ocoee area you have to stop in and give this place a try!!

Ms Nessa is an absolute sweetheart serving up some serious BBQ! My personal go-to is the pulled pork, the best I've ever had hands down. Collard greens are my favorite side but all the sides are worth trying! If you are passing through downtown Ocoee definitely make time to stop and check out this spot!

Best ribs I've had in a very long time

The ribs were really good. We had some of the dry rub and some with their sauce. The Mac N cheese was delicious. I am not sure if the French fries and fried okra were made by them or not, but they were also very good. I'll be back again.

Local. Not factory BBQ done nicely. Just my kind of Q. Sides are made in house and awesome. Baked beans and Mac and cheese could bring you in all by their selves. Just do it.

So now I'm a regular customer. If you like smoked meat this place knows how. Food here is terrific.

I'd been looking for a different BBQ spot in the area and was so happy that I decided to give this place a try! I was a little hesitant at first because it doesn't really look like a traditional restaurant, but we decided to go in and was greeted pleasantly by the woman in charge as well as by the delicious smell of smoked meats. The prices were good and the food was even better. I will definitely be stopping back in the very near future.
