Fun little local restaurant with great views, delicious food, and great service! We loved the grouper tacos and the oysters on the half shell were perfect! We can't forget to mention the fish dip is the some of the best we've ever had. Pair it with they're signature serrano sauce it elevates the flavor. BTW, you can purchase they're sauces!

Such a neat place and the food is so so so good! Will definitely be back

Nokomo's is always a pleaser. It is outside seating under the TikiRoof so if you are an AC hound, this place isn't for you. Wonderful staff and food selection have something for everyone. Share a plate of their delicious Nachos while drinking one of their signature Margaritas or any one of their menu items. Be sure to Look to their specials for both drinks and food items! Try something New!

Upstairs staff is nowhere as good as ground level staff. I ate there twice, once upstairs, once downstairs. Food was great !

Beautiful views, good food and tasty mixed drinks. A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but the good service and views make up for it. Be aware the elevator is not operational and you have to use stairs.

The place was packed when we walked out, but we were able to get two seats at the bar right in front of the live music. it was a wonderful experience, and the two of us shared a plate of nachos which was more than for both of us and there were still some leftover. Highly recommend this place.

Had to wait 10 minutes before being seated. Service was fine after that.

Really, I love this place! The food is delicious, the service excellent and the view spectacular.

Single woman wanted table upstairs, was told they didn't have a table for one. I could sit at bar or at rail downstairs looking at water. I sat at rail, but no one waits on you there. You have to go to bar and order and get your drink there. Food came, but no one ever came back and asked if it was OK or if I needed anything. Very rude service, food was good. Tip reflected bad service and it always should. Tips are not automatic like this young generation thinks. How you treat people and service you give is what earns you a tip.

First time! Great food! Had the Island tacos. Very tasty and filling! I thought an order of 2 might be a little light, so I ordered a third. Almost too much. Service was as to be expected, and the live music on a Tuesday evening was better than expected! Well done!

I love their food here this is one of my favorite places to go out to eat. There's no other place in the area like this food is delicious there's no fried food thank God.

Just absolutely delicious!! We got the lobster roll, the shrimp tacos, ahi tuna spread, and a dozen oysters. The oysters were meaty and clean. We ate them all before I could snap a picture. The prices are very reasonable since the food quality standard is high.

Good music, good food, great drinks, and a great view.

Went on 7/29 around 3pm. It was not very busy but the young man behind the bar seemed to intentionally ignore us. We had 2 drinks and were planning on eating but he never came over to take our order or see if we wanted another drink. We even had to wait to pay.

This place is just amazing and fun great view of the bay and the servers and staff are amazing. The food is great as well. They don’t even fry a single thing. Everything is done without grease. Great place to venture for happy hour and live music.

We have been wanting to try this place for a couple of years now. We stay in Venice every summer for vacation. Last Sat. 6-22-24, we finally decided to stop in for a drink. Yes, it was busy, but we got the last 2 seats at the end of the bar. We sat there, unacknowledged, for over 5 minutes. No less that 2 bartenders came down, right on front of us to make drinks, Cokes, I think, with not so much as a, " Hello, someone will be right with you". Very disappointed. Jut being acknowledged is a major part of customer service. There was one female bartender just standing looking up at something the whole time. Weird. Well, we waited, we left. I guess We saved ourselves about $30, as the RumRunner was expensive anyway. Nice view, piss poor service. Well, at least we know, now.... nope.

6-14-24. Tanya was my fine bartender along with a trainee. Both were fantastic. I went with the Lobster roll or should I say rolls. I received two. They were very delicious. I enjoyed them tremendously. I highly recommend taking in the atmosphere of this gem in Nokomis FL

Great little place with alot of character on the water. Food was tasty and flavorful. Wait staff could have been a little more attentive. Parking and seating is very limited. Especially for a place that offers live music. Live music experience was with Capt. Dave, he was not impressive at all, but that has nothing to do with this rating, but could deter from future visits from guests.

I'm a local and this is my husband's and I's favorite go-to-place. Great atmosphere on the water and the food is excellent. Every dish we've ordered has been scrumptious. It's a must for everyone.

Been coming to Venice to visit my mom since she retired and moved down there from VA a little over 3 years ago. Nokomo's has become the one place I always make a point to go to when I'm in town! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The food is really good too! More specifically, the Mahi bites appetizer and the grouper tacos never disappoint!! Love the laid back atmosphere as well. Highly recommend!!

Great place to eat and have a drink with family or friends. We have tried to come to Nokomos for years but it’s ALWAYS so packed, we never found parking or the wait was too long. The solution seemed to be to come on a Thursday at noon. We had the Mahi Bites and the Ahi Tuna wrap. DELICIOUS! Try the edamame salad because it’s unique with cranberries, corn and garbanzos. We were able to sit on the second floor and had a great view of the bay. Our server, Thalia, was super attentive and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. They also have a live music schedule, so we will have to come back.

Drinks and service were great but food was not. The rice was hard like it had been sitting out for hours maybe (both mine and my husband’s). The proportions were odd too. My dish was mostly shrimp and tortillas chips but based on the description I expected mostly rice, shrimp and beans.

Nachos were great, The Bloody Mary was ok. Pops has a much better Bloody Mary if you are looking for that afternoon pick me up.

Great place on the water. They have some dock space so you can pull up in your boat. Been there 3x food and service are always good.

Server never asked if we needed a refill or if we wanted dessert.....just bought the check before we were even finished eating

And i have to say they finally got it right Younger and experienced bartenders that are professional and have changed my mind about this place. I dont mind the wait during the season but their past pratices on every venue just su... In the past even though numerous friends have worked here and it was painful experience

Great atmosphere with awesome views. Food and drinks are very good. Only downfall has been service. On more than one occasion have been rushed out out/ dismissed by server after spending a lot of money on food and beverages.

Very long wait, very nice location, right on the water. The food was not great, very disappointed in lobster roll , just bun with pieces of lobster. Really need to learn how to make them properly. Soup was served cold.

We didn't have dinner, just stopped for a night cap, but the Keylime Pie was delicious. It's a nice place and the live band Audio Orchid was amazing.

You have to go early if you want to avoid a long wait. We had dinner at 4 o’clock and had a beautiful view. We had the mahi wrap, the lobster roll, and the smoke fish dip. We liked everything. The island wrap was a little dry, but I would definitely eat here again

Definitely the food are amazing!!! It has many options of food and cocktails ,and really all of them are excellent, our waitress Grace was very nice, attentive and her suggestions were very good, she is truly excellent. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about her colleague who greeted us at the entrance, I suppose that the host of the place, was rude and it was evident that she didn’t things with pleasure apart from the fact that she did not know how to explain to us where to sit or tell us where to go. At the entrence there is a sign that says to wait to be served . It is assumed that if it is a tourist place then you should make the tourists feel welcome, but in short, Grace is very helpful and service were excellent.

Huge wait, mediocre food and unfriendly staff (neither the hostesses or waitresses seemed sympathetic at all for the 2 hour wait). Food was not worth the wait, but the location and atmosphere is great.

It would be fantastic we're it not for the wait times. The majority of the experience is waiting, and by the time you are served, the ambience changes.

Like so many have said- the atmosphere is great and the scenery is beautiful! The food is... decent at best. Staff is extremely rude. But what kills me the most is the utter LACK of responsibility. This is literally a gulf side food establishment still using SINGLE-USE DISPOSABLE PLASTIC STRAWS, CUPS, and UTENSILS. Im proud to support establishments willing to put environment over profits and refuse to support those who dont. Thankfully, there is no shortage of local atmospheric establishments, located on the water, serving even better food, with more hospitable staff....also engaging in responsible practices!! This gem is a great place to sit by the water and have a casual meal and drinks. They have live music amazing tacos and friendly staff. And the sunsets are to die for. But get there early, seating is first come first served.

We stopped in for a sunset dinner and couldn't be more pleased. We had the seared ahi, lobster roll, and ahimsa tuna wrap. Everything was delicious, and the edible flowers were such a nice touch. The sunset was absolutey epic! One of the best we've ever seen.
