I happen to stumble across this place on my way home from an event in New Canaan. Service was amazing everyone was so warm, welcoming, and attentive! I ordered the steak off the specials menu with the side of risotto it was hands down one of the top three steaks I’ve had. Definitely recommend

Water lobster brisk with barely any lobster in it, Really cheap bread that’s available at the convenience store. All for the cheap price of $40 a plate

Food was over cooked and not flavorful and decor looks like it hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Service was really good though.

Excellent in every way! The most delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts you'll ever have, and cocktails! Hats off to Chef Jeff, Driton, and all the One Twenty Three staff!

Was hopeful as it's local, but was underwhelmed with the food and spent a pretty penny on an evening out.

The food is amazing, especially the sauces and desserts, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Visited this restaurant Sunday evening with my husband and 2 sons. We really enjoyed the food and the lovely cosy atmosphere. The staff were really attentive and polite and prices are reasonable. We will most definitely visit again and I would highly recommend the Lamb chops - cooked to perfection!!

The lamb, steak was so tender and juicy you was able to cut it with a butter knife!! Can't wait to go back!!

Excellent/Very Good/Good/Fair/Poor, as follows... 1) Cuisine: Excellent. From salad to appetizer to entrée to dessert. Even the pasta served as a side was wonderful. 2) Service: Excellent. As our orders arrived at our table, they did not ask "who gets the Chicken Parm?". They knew - an infallible sign of excellent service. 3) Ambiance: Excellent. Not fancy, but understated elegance. And we sat at a table in the corner of the room, adjacent to 2 windows on a night in the single digits without feeling the slightest chill. 4) Wine list: Very Good. Not extensive, but what they offer is quite good. 5) Price: Very Good. Not cheap, but, given the quality, quite reasonable, 6) Overall: Excellent. Would return.

Good food, great service, varied and reasonably priced wine list. Plenty of room inside between tables even before the pandemic. Lovely outside dining, some covered, some open to the stars. Highly recommended.

I remember eating 🍽 here. The owner was really nice, and the food was magnificent to state it euphemistically actually. I hope to go again sometime.

We love this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with a beautiful fireplace and real candles on the tables. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. You'll have a wonderful evening here!

I just had the BEST evening at 123! My parents took my husband and I out for our 5th wedding anniversary and despite this horrible pandemic, 123 never disappoints! I had my wedding reception in the back as well as the most beautiful baby shower! All my guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the service! Highly recommend this delicious and enjoyable experience!

We enjoyed out dinning here. Food was great! Atmosphere (outside) was lovely. Service was great as well. Pricey but you do pay for quality of service and food.

My first time and everything was exceptional the food from start to finish was not just a wonderful meal it was an experience. The staff and environment certainly enhanced the evening. One of the best dining experiences I have had in years. Thank you and hope to be back soon.

Food is great. Upscale atmosphere and classic ambiance. It's usually fairly quiet compared to other places as people don't scream and shout over one another. It attracts families and an older crowd it seems, which conveys quality to me.

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent atmosphere. Courses were well separated and never felt rushed. Excellent selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Prices very reasonable especially given the quality of food as well as the service.

Family owned and operated. Always feel like a member of the family. Ambiance and food are wonderful. Must have the Calamari, Tuna Tartar, Sesame Crusted Tuna, Lamb Chops and Chocolate Velvet Cake. The owner bakes all the deserts himself!

Rarely go here. Crowd is older..like a lot older...as is the menu and decor. Very specific target audience, seventy plus seems to be the standard age on weekends. The bartender pours a stiff drink.
