We booked this food truck for an event 3-4 weeks ahead of the event. Everything seemed fine, they took a $500 deposit to reserve the time and he called the day prior to confirm. The day of he was supposed to be onsite between 10:30 and 11:00am to start serving at 12. Around 11:00am they were not there and when I called he answered and stated there truck overheated. He would still be able to be there by 12. At 11:30 I got a text back saying the truck wont start and he can call a tow truck. They never arrived and fortunately we had a second truck at the event but it was a large disaster as they did not have enough capacity to feed everyone timely. I called and texted Pablo to refund my deposit and I still have not heard back 10 days after. The one thing he did say while on the phone was sorry, things like this happen in life. Sorry, but a legitimate place would have a back up option or at least send a full refund. I'm having to contact our credit card company to try and get the deposit back.

Spent $35 on 1 burrito, 1 ~10 oz margarita, and a tip. The food was mediocre and the drink was actually very tasty. It was just very small and extremely overpriced. The atmosphere is just your average hole in the wall bar. I probably won’t be back.

Cozy dive bar with an exciting atmosphere. Be ready to be greeted with galactic imagery the moment you open the door! The menu is diverse, and fairly priced. The owner offers a welcoming rapport with all the guests. They also keep 2 Dogs in stock a rarity on the Westside!! I had the prime rib burrito, a shredded beef taco, and the queso fries. All items were delicious. Would love a brisket taco option, but guess I will go back in to try the burrito soon!

Absolutely love this place! Me and my bestie were here on Friday and totally had such great amazing service from the owner himself and jay the bartender! They were super inviting and didn’t make us real rushed (we didn’t know but we walked in 15 mins before closing) and they still had conversations with us and just all hands down the best service I’ve had and seen in years. Totally great music and style. I can’t wait to come in on Tuesday for taco Tuesday and to sing!! I loved this place! So glad I made some new friends.

What a fun, funky little spot. It's an eclectic, quirky, restaurant/bar with great food, and friendly service. It has a relaxed atmosphere and a solid tequila selection. We'll definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem! We stopped in today because the name of the place. From the moment we sat down we had wonderful service. The staff was very friendly! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is top notch. Signed two alien lovers :)

I’ve been here multiple times in the past 3 months and I must say, this place has consistently provided great service, and excellent food. It it a must go to if you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine. The ambience is a fun take on outer space food. The vibes are always so welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend talking to the owner, he’s a great host and an even better cook. Please give this place a go, you won’t regret it!

Moved around Redford recently and was looking around some places to go to for a late night bite. Found this place and it's an absolute gem. The atmosphere is incredibly out of this world 🌎 and the service was funnier than expected. You can tell Pablo and his staff seem to enjoy what they do, AS THEY SHOULD. The food was incredibly delicious and the price was wickedly cheap based on portion and quality. Incredible! Bringing everyone we know to try out this bar. Hands down a great find.

My husband and I came in tonight. I had a taste for fish tacos and my husband had the steak burrito. I'm typically used to tacos being small but they were a nice size. I had two and it was more than enough. The sauces are a perfect addition to your food as well! My favorite was the green sauce and my husband enjoyed the black garlic. Jimmy, our bartender/server was very sweet and helpful! He's learning so give him grace if you'll be visiting soon! Pablo, the owner came out to greet us and he was LIFE! We enjoy family-oriented, smaller-sized restaurants and bars so you can definitely feel the love and care in the atmosphere! We’ll be back! Especially for karaoke!

Perfect experience! Pablo delivered on great, fresh food and fun! His team had us in stitches as they served and the food was raved about! We hired them for a graduation party at our house. The customer service and communication was exceptional. The price was not only fair, but for the serving sizes and quality, I thought it was a bargain. I wish I had more events to host just to bring him and his team back! Highly recommend!!

Burritos are overpriced for what they are, they are good but everything on the menu was too much for the portion size. The server took forever with the drinks and when two Pina coladas were ordered for my sister's they came out different colors. One was almost all pineapple juice! The other all the booze! Had to remix the drink at the table. Then the bill came. I paid my bill with a card and thought it was odd I couldn't add my own tip on the machine so I was going to leave a cash tip on top but then I looked at my receipt! My server Jay gave himself 7 and a half dollars on top of what I owed for the food! I'm not rich but I do tip well but to just tip yourself without asking your customer is THEFT! I am rather livid with the experience still two days later and I would never return because of these practices. Pablo the owner asked us to leave a review and I have to say that while you're a nice guy and your food was tasty it wasn't worth the price asked for and your server was slow and a shyster. Also a basket of chips and salsa here is 7 dollars with no refill. A quarter bag of chips and a little cup of salsa only costs a dollar to put out. I hope this was a one off. But definitely make sure your servers aren't ROBBING YOUR CUSTOMERS to get tipped. I would have left with a much better opinion of the place and looked past everything else were it not for that server Jay. If you do go here pay in cash or Jay will tip himself. He did it to both myself and my sister that paid with her card.

My wife and I love coming to Cosmic Burrito! The Cosmic atmosphere is rocking. The owner Pablo is a visionary. We love Karaoke nights which are now on Taco Tuesdays. The food is great and they’ve got a wide assortment of Tequilas. We really enjoyed the service. Hailey was super friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Just had dinner here tonight and the food was excellent, especially the steak burrito. Pablo and Jay were very friendly and welcoming making a great atmosphere along with the cool interstellar theme. Highly recommend the house made black garlic habenero hot sauce.

This place is awesome. The owner is down to earth and a great cook. Jay is a good bartender and an even better conversationalist. This is one of our favorite spots that we are rooting for. If you haven't checked it out, you have to!

My husband talked about this place for MONTHS before I was finally able to join him last week & I'm so happy I did! The food was incredible! We started with the jalapeño poppers, I had the fish tacos, and my husband had the steak burrito. In my opinion - you can get good food anywhere but you can't always find the atmosphere that this place provides. It is more than obvious that Pablo (the owner) truly takes pride in his business and wants to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience. He ran the kitchen while we were visiting and still made time to make us a new drink that he'll be adding to the menu. If you're in the area and looking for great food and good company, this is the place to be 😊

Pablo and Jay are rockstars! Upon entry we were greeted by Pablo and he explained the menu and made recommendations. Jay made us delicious drinks and even made a drink for my sister that wasn't on the menu and she loved it. Clean bathrooms, great food 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This is my new favorite bar. Delicious tacos, more tequilas to choose from than your average liquor store, and unique drafts that taste great. This place is the coolest hangout spot in Redford!

First time here after having the food truck burritos a few times, that we really enjoyed. I started with a margarita and was really disappointed. My wife had a Jupiter crunch burrito that was good. I ordered a steak rice queso burrito and got some form of Philly burrito that was just okay. We also had a taco that was pretty good. All and all it was just mediocre. I'm sure we will try it again and hope for better.

Best spot in Redford, for sure. We were kindly greeted by the owner and he carefully explained his menu. The burritos were excellent! I recommend getting some of his peppers on the side. You can tell it used to be an old dive bar, but it's really clean in there and it has a cool alien/space theme. It's nice to see an owner that loves his business and is passionate about the food that he makes.

This place out does it self every time. The food is fantastic, the staff are kind and considerate of ever patron, and it is always clean. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to anyone whom likes a good time and good food. Thank you!!!

We had the misfortune of trying the Cosmic Burrito food truck at an event in Detroit. They apparently forgot our order so we had to wait 25 minutes for our order (more than twice as long as any other guest) and when we finally did get our food after asking about it, we received the wrong burrito. Booooooooooo.

Really a diamond in the rough. Great atmosphere for those that are looking for a local neighborhood bar. It helps that the owner has run a food truck for years, so the food has already proven itself. It's truly unique and certainly elevates late-night bar eats. Massive selection of tequila and they truly know their stuff when it comes to it (mezcal as well). If you're in the area (or even if you're not) you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Tried Cosmic Burrito tonight, I'd give them 10 stars if I could! The food was fantastic, the steak burrito is MASSIVE, the tacos are delicious and fat, no skimping here. Plus, the bartender Denise was super friendly and the service was excellent! If you want some tasty Mexican food in a sci-fi themed joint that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is your place. Just found my new Friday night hangout in Redford 😁.

I have ordered and picked up burritos from here several times. The food is as good as a burrito can get. The service and atmosphere is top notch. Employees and customers are all friendly. On top of all that you get an out of this world theme, it’s my favorite burrito place.

It may not look like much from outside, but the Cosmic Burrito hits well above its weight class. When I arrived I was informed that the shredded beef would be coming out of the cooker shortly, which I took as a sign. While waiting, I had a good conversation with Pablo, the owner. He discussed his origins with his food truck and the importance of smaller batch, fresh ingredients. He seemed pretty dedicated to his community and especially his customers. It wasn't long before my burrito arrived, and at the very first bite I understood why Pablo placed such an emphasis on fresh ingredients. The food was definitely a step up from most of the burrito places I've tried around the area. If you're in the area, you won't regret giving the Cosmic Burrito a visit. I plan on returning pretty soon myself.

The food and drinks here are always great. The owner Pablo is great, friendly, and always out checking on the customers. The bartender Madison is awesome she's always making sure the drinks and bellys are full, the bar is clean, and everyone is taken care of.

I've been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. I've seen a few bartenders come and go and Madison has been the best one yet, extremely attentive, helpful, and friendly.

Food was good for such a small little place. It's definitely unassuming with silly decor and an intimate setting but they were big on taste and fair prices. The chorizo breakfast is what I got and that made me want other places to start using chorizo in breakfast. It was exquisite. Well done cosmic burrito. They were out of this world.

Found this place searching burritos near me and was glad I decided to come in. Had a chorizo taco and a shredded beef burrito and. both were great and perfectly priced. Also the size was right for both. Nice to eat a burrito in the hand for a change instead of with a fork and knife. Wacky outerspace theme takes me back to my lasertag days. Music is great, place is clean. Will definitely be back.

Went here for the first time tonight and I loved it. It’s really nice to find somewhere different to go, the whole space thing is super cool and their whole menu is a play off of that and it was super cool. The food was great, house margarita was awesome, and Tiffani gave us the most welcoming and attentive service. Also! The fact that they have a range of two dog hot sauces is great. Will definitely be coming back for karaoke on Fridays!

Pablo, is the owner he's super friendly, also cook the food his goal is for you to come back and you can tell with how genuine he is. It's on the smaller side but the food is good and lots of alcohol to choose from.
