Great food, nice people and a fair price. What else do you need to know?

I go to Paul's at least once or twice a month with my Uncle. They have always been very friendly and accommodating they also always remember what we have to drink and where we like to sit.

Good food, well worth the value

My gosh, if you're hungry this is the place to go. Your plate will be overflowing with food. 5 ⭐ from me. We will definitely be back.

Travelers just passing through. We stopped and got some breakfast. Food was what you would expect from your normal country dinner. Everything was plentiful and good except the gravy. Gravy was definitely can gravy that you can purchase at Sam club which was disappointing given how good everything else was. Melinda was a great server and attentive. Overall good experience.

Love it there, they were short staffed.

I had the stir fry and turned out great! It came with soup w/ bread and salad. Service was excellent as well. Our drinks were always filled. Highly recommend!

The food here is fabulous. Huge portions. Only 1 complaint. My husband had hot tea and he asked for another cup of hot water. He planned on using his first tea bag. When the bill came we got charged $2.50 for the second cup of hot water. After inquiring about the charge we were told they charge for the second cup of hot water. I never heard of this before. Since I had to pay for the water, I asked for the tea bag. Other refills were free. Not happy but the food was delicious.

My boss and I were in Wachulla for a site visit, and he surprised me with Paul's for lunch. Great food, friendly service, and very affordable. I had the open face roast beef and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The only negative thing I had to say is paper straws. Hate paper straws. I left very full and tried to figure out how to bring the family back one day since we lived an hour away.

If you have nothing but time on your hands and just bored I recommend this place. Better become a regular or your waiting awhile. Food is a 2 star, waitress are ok, My last go too if im starving and want fast service.

Servers were very friendly. The vegetable soup was superb!! Excellent!

Home cooking hard to find anymore chef salad was great enough for dinner to. He had burger and fries which was large and very good. Will come again

But much going on at Paul's. Food is ok. Nothing special. Didn't like some food. Staff compensated a bit by being helpful and replaced some items with different choices.

Wonderful cute clean little diner just off the main road! Look at this chicken noodle soup fries and steak and cheese sammich $12.99... service was great too!

Solid breakfast, good prices. I should learn to specify 'no powder sugar' when I order French toast. Isn't syrup enough, do they have to sugar it as a standard? Maybe the wait staff could ask the patron if they'd like sugar on top.

We had breakfast and the food was fine once we finally got it. They were busy but not full. Once we were seated, servers just kept walking passed us no one even greeted us they were walking by us like we weren't even there,waiting on people who came in after us. Finally after 20 mins. or longer, a server saw us and waited on us. After that it was fine.

As usual, my breakfast and service was great at Paul's Kitchen restaurant in Wauchula.

Cool spot. The food came out slow and not complete...

First time there won't be my last! I look forward to going there the next time I'm in town. Mom and Pop shops are the way to go due to the fact they know how to serve food. Most restaurants when I go for breakfast I get a little bitty thing a grits a couple pieces of bacon and the eggs always suck but not here I got a big bowl of grits five pieces of bacon and the eggs were cooked to perfection!! A great cup of coffee as well. Just look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean!! Best spent money all day!!

Very nice place to relax have some family time, go out for coffee ☕ friendly people here. Tv here too posted all around to watch while you wait for your orders.

Service was fantastic! They were quite busy, so we waited a bit, but breakfast was great! I'm a big coffee drinker! The coffee here was the best we had in Wauchula. The scrambled eggs were more omelets than scrambled, but still good.

Yall I have been sleepin on this place! The pancakes the sausage the eggs the sandwiches yummmm. The only thing I would change is the potatoes are a little bland. Looks like there's zero seasonings on them. I will be back! The pancakes were my favorite 😍

Paul's Kitchen is located on 4th Street about a block North off of E. Main St in Wauchula, Florida. If you're driving West on E. Main Street, 4th Street is just before Hwy 17N. There's ample parking available. I like the atmosphere, low-key and kind of laid back. It was the last day of school and on Early Release days we Bus Drivers like to get together for breakfast while we wait for the next driving runs. The food was very good 👍 and the service was great. Our waitress made sure we had everything we ordered and was to our satisfaction. The prices are pretty reasonable, too.

Food is great, servers are also great, the shrimp are huge. Only reason missing a star is that they serve the drinks in styrofoam cups. Meh.

This is a real down home, country style restaurant. We have eaten here a few times, never a complaint.

We heard this was a really good food. It’s a cute little place and perhaps they had an off night. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger salad. The salad was really good but the burger was cold and way overcooked. My husband ordered meatloaf which also came to the table cold however once he told the waitress she brought it back in the kitchen and it came back hot and delicious! The waitress told us next time it will be much better

Amazing food ! highly recommends if you’re looking for good home cooked more soul food type this place is great . we got fried chicken, pork chops, mashed potatoes, salad, corn and rice and the order only came to $28 for two meals . Every time I visit from now on, I’ll probably make a trip to this place.😊

We've been hearing great things about this little place, so we wanted to give it a shot. Our plan was for breakfast but we arrived to late (11:15). They weren't extremely busy but we stood waiting to be seated longer than what I would expect. We were seated right next to the A/C return vent and the first thing I noticed was how dirty/dusty the vents were. Definitely need a thorough cleaning! It was a few minutes before a server came by to get our drink order...again, they weren't that busy. I ordered sweet tea with extra lemon...I received sweet tea with no lemon. Server brought the lemon when I reminded her that I had ordered lemon. I ordered the fried chicken with fries and a salad. Wife ordered a hamburger and onion rings. The food was received in a timely manner and was hot. Not much to say about the food. Nothing that would make me go "wow...this is great". My wife's hamburger was ok, she did mention that either the seasoning they use had a peculiar taste or it was the hamburger meat. The onion rings were obviously frozen, not fresh. She didn't particularly like the taste of the hamburger. The fried chicken was...fried chicken. It was ok but nothing to get excited about. I also had a bowl of peas and carrots...canned, ugh. I don't understand why restaurants refuse to serve fresh veggies. Canned/frozen are garbage. You're right down the road from vegetable fields full of fresh vegetables. We both decided that we'll come back but only for breakfast. Hopefully we'll enjoy it better than the lunch.

It's like eating Supper at Grandma's place!

My family stopped at the restaurant for breakfast on our way to Orlando. It had 4 stars that’s why my husband chose this place. I personally was not satisfied with the cleanliness nor the food. The place needs some serious scrubbing; there is dust on the blinds and vents. There is black dirt on doors and floors. The bathroom didn’t look appealing either. Some gas station bathroom are better. The food was mediocre. Omelet was dry, and the pancakes tasted like they were made from a cheap pancake mix. The only nice thing about this place was the service: fast and pleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

This was our first time experience and I can assure you that it won't be our last. Very cozy and pleasant diner atmosphere. Outside looks like any other neighborhood home.

We fulltime rv and prefer to experience the local businesses. This restaurant is at the top of our list so far to dine in Wauchula! Service was great, food was “leftover take home” plentiful, delicious, and really easy on the wallet! We’ll visit again, and highly recommend Paul’s Kitchen to everyone!

Delicious food. I had the Farmer's skillet. Everything was perfect. The service is great. Very polite. Price can't be beat. This is our favorite breakfast place.

Great diner! Loved the all American bowl, which was a great way to try a bunch of different breakfast items in one. If you're in wauchula or just stopping through, highly recommend for a good hearty breakfast

Absolutely amazing!! I was only in the area to take my cat to the local animal hospital and needed to waste some time. The staff was super nice and food was amazing! It looks a little unassuming on the outside but I'd highly recommend stopping in if you want good food and good potions for a good price!! I was honestly surprised all the food I got was only $13!

Our breakfast was fresh . The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. I'm from South Carolina, but I visit Paul's restaurant every time I visit Wauchula. I'll be back.

Hamburger ok. Ordered a 6.99 fried veggie platter, pointed to the one I wanted as well as said "not" that one. I was still charged for the one I didn't want. 🤷‍♀️ Cashier on a personal phone call barely stopped to cash us out. Place has potential.

Thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the service was great. Disappointed that they didn’t have our favorite stuffed fish meal, but such are the time we’re in.
