We love the flavors, the quick prep time and friendly staff ! The little salad bar with the pickled veggies is a delight !

I’m sorry, but who is trying to pay $25 for a regular pita / gyro? Also the decor and atmosphere of the location is below average. There are to many other available choices for this to be acceptable. In response to the owners reply. I only put the price I was quoted by the staff on duty. I was told beef pitas are available on Tuesday and Thursday which is what I went to order, not chicken. Hopefully the owner can spend more time on improving the service and establishment than trying to prove points on here.

Everything that we ordered from chicken fingers to steak wraps and pargyot were very good.

Shawarma, like you're in Israel. Good falafel, too.

Staff uncioperative about adding a side of cole slaw or israeli salad. Didn't say extra 5$ just said no. Nor did they suggest a different entree.

THE FACT THAT THEY CAN'T ANSWER THE PHONE REALLY MAKES ME THINK THAT THE WORLD IS GOING DOWNHILL. STILL A GREAT DEAL! GOOD FOOD TO! I come to eat here often, very authentic Mediterranean food. In my opinion, their lamb and chicken Shawarma are probably the best in town. Big portions and great service.

Do yourselves a favor and don't go to this restaurant? Cost me $28 for a chicken shawarma sandwich with fries and a drink. For lunch, I wouldn't go here again. The steak fries were stale, stuck together, some over cooked, and not a single was crispy. The service, however, was good, and the sandwich was okay. But for the price, nay!

Good Mediterranean food but it’s not really like the food in the Middle East country’s

Took it home and had it for two meals it was very good.

This place is overpriced, and the food lacks flavor. The baba ghanoush and tahini sauce were particularly tasteless. Management rushes to take orders and doesn’t bother to grill or prepare the food according to their own menu. While the lady who takes the orders is very nice and friendly, the staff who assemble the food don’t follow instructions. The eggplant sandwich, in particular, had hardly any eggplant, and the thinly sliced pieces were overly crunchy to where the skin was bit burnt and hard. Just flavorless food over all. .

Great falafel and shawarma. The salad bar is great with pickles carrots and jalapeños. I gotta go back and try some of the other food options but everything I had so far is great and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Great food, friendly staff. It's hard to choose between this and Pita Plus. Both a block from each other and both have great food. Pita Xpress also offers burgers so that's why I chose here.

I had a fantastic experience at Pita Express! The hospitality was excellent; everyone was very nice and welcoming. I had the pita shawarma, and my wife had the falafel platter. Both meals were generously filled, and there was a nice selection of salads to choose from. The falafel was probably the best I've ever had, with a sweet green filling. Yummy! For dessert, we had the Malabi, which was really tasty. Other dishes looked pretty interesting too, and I'll definitely come back to try them. Highly recommended!

I go every week to this place because have the best falafel in USA. The environment is just simple cozy and you feel like at home. The personal is always nice and very amicable. But the taste of the food ufff there is nothing like this food, they also have a very good malabi.

Chicken Sharma is very good. You can ask what salad you want. I recommend Eggplant 🍆, Hummus, everything is good. The laffa is soft like homemade.

On my way out of Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood, my brother and I stopped at Pita Xpress for a pita sandwich. I had the "young chicken" (grilled chicken thighs) and he chose the shawarma sandwich. You get a choice of lots of veggies plus hummus (I ask for it on the side) and tehina sauces. For a few bucks more, you can make it a combo with a drink and fries. They also have a salad bar with several pickled vegetables and fried pita strips, which I'm addicted to. All in all, this has been my favorite pita sandwich/Mediterranean food restaurant since it opened years ago. I love it and will be back.

The Chicken Shawarma is nasty and so over priced. $18 for a chicken shawarma and it has no flavor. Not recommended.

I had the falafel plate. Five falafel balls, Israeli salad, hummus, and two warm pita bread. The quality and quantity of food was excellent. Ordered from them through Uber eats the other week , a shawarma baguette, it came with just shawarma and baguette with not a single topping I selected. Maybe because I ordered 15 minutes before they closed? Don't know .. Went back last week in person and got a falafel pita , they only put 4 balls inside and don't know how to stuff it up the guy put very little of every topping I asked. Decent tasting falafel but that did not fill me up.

After a long day of traveling we decided to try pita xpress, hoping it would be as good as the reviews said. I’m happy to say that it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Service: After we ordered we went to get free salad from the salad bar and the second we sat down we were called to pick out toppings in our sandwiches. Overall very clean, fast, and organized. Food: The pita sandwiches were huge and fresh. Very tasty fries-very large portion. You definitely get a bang for your buck. Definitely coming back if I get the chance.

This is our favorite grill style restaurant in all of South FL and it is better than many others we have been to in NY and other states. Here's what we like best: 1) The food always tastes fresh and delicious - can't say the same for other places we've been to, even the better ones 2) Everything we've tried is very good or terrific - typically a restaurant has a few items they specialize in but some menu items are just there to fill space and you can tell that immediately when you try them. That is not the case here 3) They are quick - I've never had to wait very long to be served 4) The place is large and spacious and clean and nicely decorated which is somewhat unusual for this type of restaurant 5) They are open later than most other similar places - but warning! They do run out of a lot of the best menu items well before closing If there's one down side it is that some of the employees are not particularly friendly or helpful, like for example you can approach the counter or even stand there for a bit and they will not ask if you need help. I would say that needs improvement, hence the loss of 1 star. All in all we just love this place and sometimes we travel 30-45 mins out of our away just to get to it. It's worth it!
