Great American country food here with plenty of seating and they serve it hot and ready or you can order something from the kitchen menu. Cons the turkey can be a little dry sometimes and the meatloaf can be a bit bland.

Great food with a home made taste to it. You can order off the menu or from their unique food bar. I've had several items from their hot food bar, subs and desserts. All have been fantastic. Not sure what you're hungry for? No problem. With their food bar, you can pick and choose what you want and the amount to satisfy your hunger. I recommend that you try the turkey and stuffing.

Best pizza I've ever had! 100% recommend if you are a pizza lover.

One of the best cheesesteaks ive had was from here. if you dont like tougher steak, eat here. They even have to go drinks by the door. Great customer service and the lady working their was super nice. Great little place to get quick food and they even have a hot bar and bakery section. Try the pie or cheesecake or they even have chocolates like chocolate covered peanuts etc. Must check this place out even once.

The sub sandwiches here are delicious. Food always tastes fresh and the service is good. Even when it gets busy in there, the food comes out fast.

I wish I knew about this place sooner The food is off the hook But the pizza The pizza I've never had anything like it I tried to eat it tye 1st time like I'm bad ill tear up a few slices ? Why's everyone using a fork and knife? The cheese is that thick Warning it will give you the it's lol

Best Subs in town!! No wait, they have cut back on the meat and toppings but I'll still give them at least a 3 or 4. I prefer they raise their prices as opposed to not making quality food anymore.

Decent little place.. not what i was expecting. There is food in the warmer/buffet thing that is weighed... pizza is cooked to order and its very gooey thick cheese which is good, but definitely needed more seasoning. Meatloaf was a bit grainy, but the mashed potatoes and gravy were good. You have to order then sit, which is a bit of a negative for me... they sell bulk candy and such as well....

Chicken Salad is delicious!!! The meatloaf definitely needs to be fixed differently, it is nothing but hamburger and ketchup,also the stuffing is just chunks of bread baked, no celery or onion,just Plain Bland!!!The employees are super nice and the place ALWAYS looks clean!!

The pizza here is so good. It is a definite must-try if you are in that area. It is small inside with not many places to sit and it does have a lot of business. People were coming in and there was a line the entire time I was there. They have a buffet-style area where you can choose what you want to eat and they will serve it to you. The food in that area looked amazing. There was meatloaf, turkey and gravy, Mac n cheese, and more. They change what they will serve there daily. They also have a menu to order from and combo meals. People beside us were eating subs and they were huge. Service was great but they were short-staffed. They also sell homemade candies, cakes, and cookies.

I got a pepperoni and cheese pizza, for my bithday wish. It was delightful and delicious. Loved it! Yum yum 😋

Thee absolute best pizza I've ever had! My family orders a pizza from here once or twice a month, it's been a tradition forever. They pack on SO much cheese and toppings it's ridiculous, in the best way. Mm mm mmm!!!!

The subs here are fabulous me and my daughter and granddaughter eat here weekly but today I called at 7:31pm which they close at 8pm and was told no hot food they wouldn't make my steak&chz sub because I was 1 minute late calling I have to call by 7:30pm. I understand everyone worked all day and are probably tired and ready to go home, but 1 minute come on now, and we eat here every week.....

They make a really good sub! Wish they were open on weekends though.

Staff is very polite and helpful. Ordered pizza. You better really like cheese if you order one. Excessive amount of cheese. Oil puddled up under the pizza. Won't return.

Always got great service and the food is always great!

Never ate here. And probably won't again. Ordered 3 whole steak and cheese- subs around 7:25 grilled onions, mushrooms, mayo, pickels. 2 fries, onion rings, mushrooms $60.00 For pick up. Wait time 20 minutes. Got there 5 minutes early. Got food. Got home 15 minutes later. My sub was wrapped in foil and so soggy it feel apart and literally had no taste to it. I was definitely disappointed. And reminded myself why I do not eat out. Food went straight to trash.

Hot food bar is sold by the pound and it is always delicious. They always seem to have turkey and mashed potatoes available and they have many made to order items as well. Believe it or not it's a great place to stop to get a quick meal that is not fast food.

If you want down home cooking then you come straight here. I have never eaten at a better place than this for comfort food. Always excellent service. Always excellent price. Best mashed potatoes you will ever have. Best buttered carrots and green beans. Massive portions of meatloaf. This place is better than any comfort food restaurant you will ever find

Food was good but not hot. People are nice and establishment was clean. I know now to ask to get my food heated up. Staff very friendly and will go back again. Pizza is great!

I’m from out of state, and whenever I visit my family in the area, I have to get a cheese pizza from Pownall’s. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!

Was in town for work and I searched a local place to eat and found pownalls and I'm glad I did. They offer great food and several choices with a great price. I left full and happy I definitely recommend it.

Dude their pizza is epic. I didn't know you could put that many toppings on a pizza. Really great value too. They have a hot bar you pay by the weight, and it was pretty good as well. I liked a sub I got there one time too. One thing I that does bum me out is they are closed Saturday and Sunday, but I can appreciate they care about the people that work for them to have the weekend with their family.

You guys have the best home cooked meals in town. I feel like I'm a kid again back at my Grandma's house, it reminds me of her home cooking. Awesome food and reasonable prices! The family that runs the place is super friendly and the customer service is on point.

This place is so good that I no longer appreciate my wife's cooking. If my wife could cook like this place i believe our marriage would be better.The hot case is the way to go but they also have amazing menu items.

This is a great place to pick up dinner at. Food is very good and its quick friendly service.

It was my first time going there and I didn't really know there are arrangements if someone had to seat you down or you take your own seat I was instantly greeted and told where I needed to go to get my takeout order the food was awesome some of the best barbecue I've had in the area . Delicious home cooking! I am still full. Had delicious cakes and all kinds of home baked goodies. A must eat at👍 😋 Charges by the pound, but worth it!

The food is insanely good and the lady was extremely nice. Combos are between 8 and 10 bucks a person with a good variety of choices.

Love their pizza, subs and hot bar. I do miss getting a slice for lunch though. If you loved Ramons back in the day, you'll love these guys!

This place has the BEST comfort food daily.their got case is out of this world daily. You can get fried chicken to meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy with Mac and cheese. I go there EVERY day for lunch. The service is ALWAYS GREAT and the good is even BETTER. I am so GRATEFUL that a place like this is still around. It's DEFINITELY better than a fast food stop for lunch.and much healthier. Thank you Pownalls for all you do. Keepi that comfort food coming!!!! PS if you like chicken and dumplings or chicken pot pie this is the place for you.their chicken and dumplings are unmatched by ANY other business in the area and their are a few that offer chicken and dumplings on their daily lunch specials throughout the month. Those places have good food as well BUT once you try pownalls food you will totally UNDERSTAND.

Perfect little sandwich shop Husband and I ordered a Ruben sandwich and roast beef and cheese sandwich. So good . I couldn't get a picture before my husband devoured his Ruben. Great quick stop going from Inwood to Martinsburg anytime of day. Chips are homemade, and they have a ton of single serve chocolate,pie and cakes to choose from

Alvin does a wonderful job cooking all this amazing food. The hot bar is always delicious with many different options and the pizza is the best in the area. So unique with the pepperoni under the cheese and so much cheese!! Everyone else is always super friendly too. What a great locally owned restaurant! We have been going to the many different places Alvin as cooked for over the years and the food is always exceptional.

Went here the other day for a lunch break, due to recommendations by other teachers. Friendly staff and great cookies. The food was fine, but not so great that I'd go out of my way to visit. I'd go back if I were going with someone who loved it, but not alone.
