mange yo telman bon ou pap regret, the only issue I have with them is that they take a long time to give you your food, so coming here while on a lunch break is a big NO-NO. The A/C is not the best in there so it is hot, you'll get some friendly people who will take your orders and you get some who are a bit on edge but it's only because of how much food they have to get out to those who are waiting (long wait time), but seriously check this place out especially the griot ( fried pork) it's very flavorful

I use to love this place at one point. I thought they had the best griot, that’s all I ever ordered. I haven’t been here in years so I decided to try an oxtail plate. Well let’s just say it was the worst experience. I had a plate full of rice and the oxtails were in a styrofoam soup bowl. I poured the oxtails out and it was only 4 small pieces. Requested to have more oxtails or a refund and they went on and on about why I couldn’t have none. Someone called the owner and they finally gave me 2 extra pieces after being there a while. The oxtails was not seasoned at all, just looked like they were boiled in water with browning. I wasted my money and will never go back there again. The customer service was unpleasant and everyone looked like they were mad cause of how I felt. Save your money. Matter of fact go to Island Grill on Forest Hill.

Amazing authentic Haitian cuisine that is a takeout gem in West Palm Beach, FL. Visiting Prosperity Island is like going home to family and eating well! I ordered the Legume, a hearty dish with Haitian roots. This meal is full of tender pork chunks that have marinated in the traditional Haitian epis blend, creating a rich and flavorful experience. The banan Pese (fried plantains) and rice and beans (kole) complemented the legume perfectly. The addition of Pikliz, a spicy pickled vegetable relish, added a delightful kick to each bite. The meal was well-seasoned and beyond delicious. There was no wait, and I loved every morsel. I am very happy and satisfied. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large enough for two to share. I can't wait to go back again to Prosperity Island!

Bad customer service and the waiting is too long and they are careless. It’s crazy to see how people doing business when they don’t understand how to run a business. It’s so sad ! bad reputation for Haitian businesses .

They have the worst aura and If you are American you can expect to wait 30-45 min for food that’s already made and u will see the Haitians walk in and out while u are still waiting sad part is I love my Haitians but the way they make me feel I will never be back this was the same reason I stopped going 4 years ago and nothing has changed and they will ignore u if u don’t speak up

They will treat you like dirt if you’re not Haitian simple. I came in with two people in front of me and waited at the register for an order I called in 20 minutes ago. The cashier and staff spoke to multiple other people coming in taking orders as soon as they came through the door and ignored me and side eyeing me after five people gets serve 15 minutes later she ask me for the name of my order which is still sitting right on the counter behind and continues to help two other customers and when she grabbed my food I said it was there this whole time she laughed and told me my total. They take their time they don’t care about you waiting or them being rude. They get to you when you feel like it and that’s it. I’ve been here about 8 times and the last year and it’s always the same. There are other Haitian restaurants in the area just as good and I’d suggest anyone else to go elsewhere instead

Amazing authentic Haitian cuisine that is a take out gem in West Palm Beach, Fl. Visiting Prosperity Island is like going home to family and eating well! Ordered Griot (fried pork), banan Pese (fried plantains), and rice and beans kole. Also ordered Goat Tasso with pikliz. Very satisfied as all meals were well seasoned and beyond delicious. The 30-minute wait was well worth every morsel. I am very happy and satisfied. The Haitian mommies who took the orders were welcoming. Prices are reasonable and portions large enough for 2 to share. The only minus is the lack of island decor of the restaurant. Can't wait to visit WPB again as my first stop will be prosperity Island!

Customer service is the worst. They gave me some bad food. I return it and they feel some type of way because I say the food was bad. The owner of the store don’t know how to treat the customer and the food taste like leftovers.

The food is a 8/10 very good. Regular portions. The service is 3/10. Upon entry you must say order or pick up very loud. If you don’t speak creole best of luck

Yesterday was the first time i ordered food and received it in great time .. I ordered snapper which is cooked to order.. honestly the food has never disappointed me.. it’s very good the best in palm beach .. I usually have to wait or am ignored for Haitian ppl to go first as if our money isn’t the same. But yesterday I was with my friend who speaks creole and had the best experience. I also went early afternoon so for those reasons I’m sure I was satisfied fully. Offer delivery.

Food okay BUT service sucks even with supporting their culture they will treat you as if you do not belong and will service you last mind you I called in my order prior to avoid the wait times

Mar 2024 (Update): Restaurant used to be great, back in the day.... wouldn't recommend now. The food is just DISGUSTING & HORRIBLE The griot was full of nasty fat, and I ended up just throwing it out...not worth the extra calories..lol. ***DO NOT RECOMMEND***

The poor quality of the customer support is the only reason I'm not giving it five stars. Beyond that, I think the meal is excellent and better than any island restaurant in West Palm Beach. I hardly ever dine at Jamaican restaurants or any other places because of them; I don't see the point. You won't ever hear "we don't have that" or "we ran out"—they always have what the menu offers. The nicest thing is that the quality is always the same.

The young Haitian females cashiers is a very rude . They ignore u and they take Haitian people first. in the North Americans other than that the #food is delicious# and you might have to wait an extra 15 to 30 min after preorders

Okay so here is the thing. The food is very good. Inside not the best to look at, nor is the customer service. This is the only reason as to why I can’t really go too often. I always get my food at least 30 minutes before. So I call them leave my house and still wait about 15 minutes. It’s never ready. But if I have time I wait.

If you don't know then go. Haitian food when you need it. And they are quick to my Haitians you know what I mean.

this place have no customer service at all. I placed a call in and when i got there the food was not ready . To top off everything they didn't services me until i spoke up because they immediately service other haitians that's standing or just walking in.

Customer service is trash. Don't try that in America. We don't like to wait long for food. If you say 30 min then the food should be ready at that time. I will no longer support you. I don't care about what others are saying about your food is good. There's several other establishments to support who will get it right. And clean the floor in the restaurant. The grout in between your tile is absolutely disgusting!

If you are not haitian you gone wait 30minutes even if you order over the phone. Even wen you order their at the restaurant someone else can come in speaking creole & you been in there before them they going to get there food first happens even time.

My review is not tending on the food it's pending on the women that works at Prosperity when you serve a customer you have to remember a customer is always right no matter what I bought some food and half of the stuff that comes with the dinner was not in my bag I kindly called to let the ladies know and there was very upset and rude hang up the phone on me I made a trip back to the restaurant and ask to speak to the manager which he tried to persuade me that the food was well taken care of but no one thing you have to remember when you have a restaurant and you have workers it's a discipline problem you have to know how to control your workers from tonight on I will not be eating none of you guys food..you guys are one of the best ...but the female that work there need to know how to talk n explain more better

I can't believe how low the rating is for this restaurant! I understand the complaints of time but honestly they are the ABSOLUTE BEST HAITIAN RESTAURANT IN PALM BEACH! MY Husband and I drive from Orlando and won't leave till we get a plate, he's Jamaican and Portuguese from Boston and obsessed with this place. That's how phenomenal it is...worth the wait if you want a great plate! Bon Bagay!!

Love love love!!! One of the best Haitian restaurants in the area. The food was amazing and the workers were nice.

I only had the chance to try the pork griot with rice and beans. It was an expertly cooked feast. Highly highly recommend. More than enough food for one. Wish I was staying in West Palm Beach longer so I could sample other dishes on the menu.

Although their mushroom rice is one of the best in the area, I changed my review to one star due to their constant disrespect for their clients. I called and ordered a soup and a side of mushroom rice. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up in 15 min, stayed outside for 5 and went inside. I asked for my order, they told me to hold on. 10 minutes later, I asked again, at that time I could see my order sitting there getting cold so I asked if they could passed me the food. They asked me to wait so they could take the orders that are coming in. It literally take 3 seconds to handle me my food. And it has been like that for some time. So I say thank you and left without my food, canceled and disputed the order, got my money back and will never go back to that place.

Worst experience ever, bought a $ 40 meal (Conch), and it was cold with left over taste. I went back to address it and they kept the food and the money. Prosperity Island, I was very disappointed.

I sent my boyfriend to get me some conk, the meal was $40 and it taste like old leftover🤢sea food it wasn’t even hot. So we went back to let them know the food is not fresh. They said they wasn’t going to give us the money back and kept the food with our money. Worst experience ever I’ll never go back.

The food was pretty good but I had to wait nearly an hour for a single meal. When I placed my order the restaurant wasnt that busy. This restaurant really could have 5 stars if they just organize better. I was really tempted to just leave without paying after I placed my order because it was not clear if they were even working on my meal. I just stood there for nearly an hour. The guy after me also had issues placing an order. I spent $40 on a single meal. At that rate I would have liked an actual sit down restaurant

Yesterday must have been a good one. I received my food in record time. Good food takes time. Now let's talk about the food experience. This was my second time eating at this establishment. Some of the best food I've eaten. I won't try to pronounce the dish, but us country folk know it as Fried pork!!! So sinful but so delicious. I blessed that pig and ate it!!! The seasoning is spot on. It comes with rice and peas, smashed fried plantains, and old fashioned iceberg salad with red onion, and cucumber. If you're hesitating about trying something new don't. My only advice is please call ahead of time, because the space inside is limited. I'll try and post pics later 😊

Fastest service I’ve ever had from a Haitian restaurant! Tasty griot and legume! I was happy there weren’t many bones and the few pieces with the fat were cooked crispy and delicious really good food! When I ordered on the phone the gentleman didn’t ask for a name or number and didn’t say goodbye but the food was ready when I was there so all in all I was happy!

Great customer service as she initiated conversation and explained the dishes offered when asked. I went in the morning so all the other reviews may be valid during busier times.The beef soup was more a vegetable soup with five pieces of chuck roast . It's only served on the weekends.The soup was delicious and not salty at all. It had yucca, dumplings, and plantains and plenty of them.

I heard about this place all the way from my hometown so when I was close by I had to try. My husband is haitian and he loved it. Nice clean and friendly restaurant. Its just walk in no dine in. Delicious food. We ordered rice and beans with Griot.
