Beer great. Outside seating would be nice. Too many little kids running around.

Absolutely love this place have been coming here for years with my family and in laws with their children and never had an issue. Suggested it to my friends who had never been there saying it was a great open space with lots of games and family friendly. I will never return after the treatment we got this evening. Our kids were having a blast (per usual) and on accident a beer glass was broken (has happened before many places) and the so called “owner” came in and basically harassed us and yelled us saying everyone was complaining about our children and that we should leave. We asked him if this was a family friendly establishment to which he responded “it shouldn’t be”. I asked him if anyone has ever broken a glass before and he said yes to which I responded then leave us alone we didn’t do it on purpose it was an accident and he stormed off telling us we had to leave. I have never been so disrespected in my life our kids were not misbehaving and it was embarrassing in front of my friends since I talked this place up to them highlighting the pinball games and fun family friendly atmosphere. I said it to the “owner” and I’ll say it here if they don’t want kids there they should put a sign up outside stating “no kids allowed”. Very pathetic if that was the owner you don’t deserve such power to own a business and you need to work on your poor customer service.

Great place, good choice of beer and whiskey. Staff are friendly and willing to help you choose the right drink.

Nice laid back place with good brew and cocktails

Hosted a small gathering here and everything was amazing! Reserving tables was quick and easy, and we were able to set up decorations/bring in our own food. Great selection of beers, cocktails, and liquor - and great staff too! Recommend this spot to enjoy a beer, or host a party!

I absolutely love this brewery! It has such a chill vibe. I’ve been here at least a handful of times. There is plenty of seating, some quite comfortable too. Their beer is delicious. The people are down-to-earth. It’s unassuming from the outside, but has a NY loft feel on the inside. If your in the area, stop in for a flight of beers or try a selection of whiskeys. If your not sure what you like, you can give them a flavor profile and they will choose them for you. If you can’t hang out, you can take their beer to go. If you love beer, Relic is a top CT brewery and doesn’t disappoint!

We enjoy Relic beers and it feels like it's a hidden gem. It's fine to bring in your own food. The expansion in the back is very spacious and comfortable. There's always a fun and happy crowd at the bar and staff couldn't be friendlier and helpful. The Violet IPA is delicious and the Peanut Sout is incredible! We always look forward to returning!

Fantastic beers and a HUGE whiskey and tequila selection. Great prices for 4 packs when compared to other breweries in the area.

I haven’t been to the physical location, as I moved (from literally down the street, sadly)- but I have been drinking Relic releases for a while and find myself almost exclusively coming back to the packie to get more of their Whim and Double Whim. So much so that when I lost my job recently and my bank account zeroed out, I worked an extra three hours delivering food and doing Uber every week this month to afford the special treat. Great work, please don’t discontinue The Whim!

The beer was great, the pineapple gose was very well balanced. Flights are available as well as half and full pours. They have some cans to go and also have growlers/growlers available. They also have a good food selection, special grilled cheeses, charcuterie, nachos and other appetizers. Dog friendly and super cute social space.

If you find yourself on the area… or even if you aren’t nearby but want to drive for some good beer, this is a great place to visit. Expanded a couple years ago so there is a decent sized bar and also now a large back room with couches, tables, and pinball machines if you are with a group. The Whim hazy New England style IPA was my favorite, but all are worth trying. If you don’t want beer, they also have one of the best selections of whiskies you’ll find. Tell them what you generally like and they’ll help you choose a bourbon, rye, scotch, etc that you’ve never tried before. The staff is also personable, knowledgeable, and great all around! Can’t say enough good things about this brewery!

I've been going to Relic since 2013 and it's been great to see their evolution over the years. For beer, they usually have something for everyone from hazy IPAs to stouts to ESBs(the ESB is great, btw) with around 9 taps. What a lot of people don't know about is the AMAZING selection of spirits. They hundreds, if not thousands of bottles of bourbon, gin, tequila and others that are hard to find or very expensive. It's great to be able to get a flight of 4 different bourbons to try instead of spending $200+ on bottles for something that you might not enjoy. There is a nice, large, nicely decorated sitting area in the back where you can be spaced out. Trivia and music too at least pre-covid. Staff is great(be sure to tip the staff) and there is easy, contactless payment.

Good beer and an incredible bourbon flights. Also you can bring in food! Staff is knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Place is a little hard to find if you don't know exactly where to look. They need a sign closer to the road.

One of my favorite breweries in the states. Top notch beer, an unbelievable whisky selection, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a good time whether I'm stopping in just to pick up or if I'm sitting in to enjoy a few brews. Highly recommend to all.

Kind of crowded with inconsiderate locals

All the beer that we ordered was amazing!!! We tried 4 different IPAs and 1 Stout. All great!! The customer service was amazing. They didn't have the beer I wanted in a can, but I still left satisfied because the bartender was super nice about it. The place is very well kept too! Loved this place and plan on going back!

Great little hole in the wall spot! Tucked right off the main drag in a little brick building down in Plainville CT, there's a nice little bar area in the front, and the back opens up to a big seating/ lounge/ game room! Very nicely done space, and the bear are phenomenal! Extremely flavorful and true to form on the style of brew due to the owner/ brewers attention to detail and quality using all the right ingredients, the outcome is fantastic! Definitely recommend stopping in if you're nearby or traveling through, or at least pick some up at the packy or have a couple at bars that have them on tap! They also have a solid liquor selection! 🍻🍻

Love their selection, and they have some great people working there. They work hard and are friendly. It's a small bar with a lot of people hanging out in front of it, so the line to get a beer or pay and leave can grow quickly to 15 - 20 people. That's the only frustration. Notice when those few that are pouring beers are in a hurry you get 3/4's beer, 1/4 foam. Didn't get a pleasant response when I asked the bartender to top off my slightly lower than 3/4 beer last evening. But this doesn't happen often. Still a great place!

Had an amazing Pear hard cider with a delicious chicken chipotle avocado sandwich on a Portuguese roll. The pickles were amazing the chips were great, the atmosphere was very cool. Hubby and I enjoyed it very much and will be back!!!

The new large space Relic brewing recently opened is amazing! It's a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with comfortable seating and inviting decoration. There's even a new indoor section for bags and this shuffleboard game. The beer is great as always and the staff is the coolest around. I'd encourage you to come check them out if you haven't!

It's great to see they have now a expanded tap room. Great beers and an absolutely amazing selection of whiskey. Combined with a personable and knowledgeable staff, makes it a must visit.

Cozy brewery with lots to offer. On top of their tap list, they have a very full bar, wine, and cider offerings. Kind of a weird spot, but very welcoming. Will definitely return!

Love this place. Great, tasty brews and for me, the single malt scotch selection is unbeatable. You won't find a selection of this size and quality anywhere I'm familiar with. Bourbons, Rye, Tequilas and more. And did I mention the beers.....? Great job you guys.

Small place, but some of the best IPA's in the area. I went in to buy some cans to go and they let me try a sample of pretty much everything they had before I picked one. I've since gone back for a few pints. Great spot!

Small brewery with a huge selection of beer. Somehow these guys are able create lots and lots of IPA's that are among the best in Connecticut.

Relic is producing some of the finest beers in the region, if not the country. Their staff is knowledgable in the process, the industry, and can put a pint in your hand that you’ll enjoy, regardless of preference. If you can’t make it to their tap room, keep an eye out for their cans all over Connecticut.

No matter which beer you get, it's probably better than you could've gotten somewhere else. Plus, they now have a full liquor stock, so you can get single glasses or flights of gin, whiskey, tequila, etc. which is cool.

This place was smaller than expected but the beer was good and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Best brewery in the area. An amazing variety of beers, a very knowledgeable brewer and a ridiculous amount of awesome whiskeys to sample.

Love the Oktoberfest. All the beers I've tried there taste really good. They also have ciders, wine, craft whiskeys, scotches, and gin. It has a small tasting room that really feels like a local spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bring your own growler to fill, they dont care if its another brewery's. My only suggestion to them is maybe pave the parking lot better and put a bigger sign on the street so people can find it easier.

Great local brewery. Free tastings of their beers and not really a place to hang out due to their one beer pint purchase rule. However, most seem to come just to try new releases and buy beer in cans or refill growlers. Really recommend this brewery to beer lovers!

My favorite local brewery. Staff is always friendly and talkative. Beer tasting is free, which is awesome. I'm a huge fan of the Double Dry Hopped Tropicale.

Relic is an awesome little brewery pumping out some great beers. Their draft list is constantly rotating with new and exciting beers. Their IPAs including, The Huntress, The Flaxen Foal, Tropicale and The Sorceress are fantastic. Always a great time!

One of the oldest and best-rated microbreweries in Connecticut offers free tastings, growler fills and bottles of imaginatively-concocted craft beers spanning many styles.

We visited Relic Brewing a couple of days ago. My lovely girlfriend and I sampled all four beers they had to offer. The taproom is nice, free samples, and Mark (the Brewer) is friendly, and very knowledgable. We had the Demiana, CONNcubine, Citra session IPA, and Coulter IPA. All of Mark's beers were well crafted; the stand out being the Citra session and Demiana. Both beers were well balanced from nose to finish, and offered a great deal of complex. We also purchased a four pack of the DIPA Huntress - which is an excellent DIPA; well rounded, lots of aroma on the nose, great body and mouthfeel, excellent finish and linger! They bottle and brew some of their beer at Thomas Hooker, be on the lookout for their beers in your local package store.

Great local spot for free tastings. You can Purchase 22oz btls and growler fillups at the bar counter. Still a very "Micro" spot with a great atmosphere and crew. Relic is a fill and run spot not a Brewpub or craft beer bar. Mark, the brewmaster has done great things with Relic's american-belgian style beers- try the Huntress, Tropicale, Thrice, & Field Hand.

Great little microbrewery. Free tastes of whatever they have on tap. I particularly liked the Biere de Noel. Very friendly owner and staff. Tricky to find though; you really have top be paying attention to see the sign on the building as you drive by.

A friend and I got a growler of their IPA (can't remember the name unfortunately) and were so pleasantly surprised we drank the whole thing in one sitting. If you are looking for a local microbrewery with a great selection of interesting beers look no further.
