Beautiful restaurant and great staff to bad the deluxe seafood platters we had were terrible low quality and improperly cooked. With such a beautiful location and so many locals that eat there you need to do better. Update 1 hour later I have diarrhea thanks a lot.

Rodeo's consistently serves the best steaks. Tonight I had one of the best ribeyes I've ever had! We've been coming to Rodeo's for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. We're so glad they rebuilt after the hurricane.

I usually will give any restaurant 2 chances. Our 1st experience last month was just okay. The blackened seafood platters were prepared with very little blackening season and the seafood was a bit over cooked to my liking. Service was great. Today, we gave Rodeo's another try with everyone ordering blackened shrimp and scallops. NEVER AGAIN. Wanted a pit steak but it wasn't 4 pm yet so no dice. We all ended up ordering seafood. Bad choice. The shrimp, scallops, hushpuppies (they are amazing), fried okra were all way over cooked. My sweet potato was so over cooked, it had water in it and was black around the skin inside and out. Waitress did offer to bring another potato but I did decline because everything else was horrible. Checking out, the gentleman asked how everything was. We told him it was not good, overcooked, not hot. His response? Oh okay. Not worth the price of $100 for 3 people.

It's normally quite good, however my last visit was a little lack luster. But I would still very much recommend this place.

I hadn't been to Rodeo's in years but the food, the atmosphere when you walked in, and the service was excellent. I enjoyed my time as well as the view with my steak at Rodeo's.

You know I enjoyed this place. This area is pretty pricey so a no-nonsense steak place that's a little bit more affordable is pretty welcome. Plus, the steaks were great. I felt my medium rare was a bit closer to rare than it should have been but I'm the type that switches off between rare and medium rare depending on my mood so I wasn't that put off. Definitely would go again

We had a large birthday party and the service was fast and the food was excellent.

I am local, and this is one of my favorite places to eat. What makes this place different than most is that they cook on a real hardwood fire when they cook your steak. The seafood menu is complete with all the favorites, and they prepare them excellently as well. But, a steak cooked on the open fire is the thing that sets this place apart from many other choices you might have.

Food was delicious! Our waitress was wonderful and the view was great!

While riding to Mexico Beach it started to rain,so we stop in to keep from getting wet. What a treat the best sea food I've eaten in a long time. Service was great as well

Took my dad there for his 77th birthday. He ordered the cod grilled. Apparently there are 3 different sizes to this plate. I got him the biggest of them. When they brought out his plate. The fish looked like a kids meal size. In strips 4 to 5 1x3 inch pieces. Come in now. I know it's rebuilt but that's not right. But service was good. Food taste good but portion isn't ok

I ordered grouper and I’m sure it was swai rubbery and dry as baby powder.

The smoked tuna dip was good. I had the salmon, blackened, and hubby had the seafood platter broiled. He said it was great. My salmon was to crusty on top and bottom, crunchy, but good. Coleslaw was good. Beans had a great sauce, but nobody like the hard kidney beans in them.

My husband and I went on a date to Rodeos. The food was great and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and prompt. I appreciate the service and atmosphere

Food was definitely worth coming back for! Steak was cooked perfectly. Seafood platter was delicious. Onion Rings were crunchy and flavorful. Hushpuppies were great. All around 10/10!

I would rate this restaurant 5 stars due to the food and service. Despite coming late, the food was great and so was our server, a woman by the name of "Paige." I would recommend anyone to go here if you like good food and I recommend "the cowboy" steak!

Pleasantly surprised by the food and great service. I had the seafood platter, good portions and the seafood was not overcooked.

For a steakhouse, you'd expect to have a solid steak.. ordered a medium-rare, as I always do and received a well-done, inside included. I guess I should have followed my own advice, only eat the steak that I have made, as my high standards will never be met out in public. My server was nice, but food came out slow (it's no wonder the steak was burned).. the best I can say is they have delicious rolls. Lastly, hope you have an off-road vehicle like I do because that's the best parking you'll find.

Got a steak dinner, added grilled shrimp side. The steak was 26.95, my tab was 62$ I’m guessing the 10 shrimp was 30+$!! The food is tasty and well prepared BUT the quantity definitely doesn’t match the price

The waitress was very sweet. Atmosphere was ok. The food was not so great. I ordered the cowgirl ribeye. I asked for medium well. I got medium rare. This is unacceptable. I won't be back.

Great atmosphere on the water and very clean. Soap and paper towers were out in the bathroom. Wait was double the estimated time, and several groups got set in front of us with the same number of people. We called ahead and were told there were no reservations. Waiters changed halfway through dinner. Eat half our meal without drinks. Great steaks, sea food, not so much. 2.5 hr dinner experience.

Was craving ribs and they didn't disappoint. They are served without sauce. Try before you add any because they are very flavorful. The cheese grits were good. Wasn't impressed by the okra but it wasn't bad.

This is a nice, clean restaurant with good food and friendly service. It's a very welcoming atmosphere, and who doesn't look being able to look out on the water while enjoying a delicious meal.

Extremely accommodating and excellent food and service!! Came in late from fishing with party of eight and called the restaurant to see if they could seat us right at closing. They didn’t hesitate to say come on in. We arrived literally at 8:30 which is closing time. They acted as though they had just opened and the food was fresh as can be. Highly recommend!!!!!

I just had the most perfectly cooked ribeye steak that I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Everything was outstanding, Victoria did a great job as our server also. We will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I met family there for dinner, and it was fantastic. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were excellent. If you're looking for a good steak house to go to, I highly recommend Rodeos. You won't be disappointed.

Our waitress Diana was not very pleasant, her eye roll was uncalled for when we had question. She seemed very irritated for having to wait on a party of seven. Food was well done, not medium rare as ordered. When sent back it was then severed cold. When the manager was informed he ran and hid. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Had scallops, which were large and good. Maybe a little over cooked but not bad. Have had a steak here before that was really good. Would recommend it here. Service may be a bit slow with large groups. Probably best steak house in town.

We were a party of 7 out to celebrate my son's graduation. Maybe they were having a bad day, but nothing about our experience was good. Our waitress Ms. Diana was a bit rude, she rolled her eyes when after 2 people in my party asked to be skipped over while they decided. Splashed tea on my Auntie while refilling her glass. My son asked her name and she answered with a snippy tone, then told him that her name is on a card. Mind you the card was at the head of the table by me and he was sitting 4 seats down at the end of the table. My mother ordered a burger medium it came well, so that was sent back. When she returned the burger, it was medium but everything about it was cold. Onion rings were full of grease. Chicken sandwich was two little grilled chicken tenders not a breast or filet like you would think. For a $150.00 you would think everything would be up to par. Hey the side salad & potato salad was good. Oh and the dinner rolls were really good. My Aunt approached the manger he stated that he would make my mother whatever she wanted. He never came to our table to see how he could help the situation. In fact when we looked around for him, he was absolutely nowhere around!!

Our family absolutely loves this place. Definitely the best steakhouse on this side of the bridge. I think our family needs a loyalty program lol.

The hickory pit smoked meat is absolutely delicious. I got a ribeye and I was not disappointed. The person who served us was very personable and pleasant and attentive. He also made the cocktails which my Bourbon House special was very good. Which by the way, they have their own limited reserve bourbon which I had to buy a bottle of because it was just so delicious and was very reasonably priced. The steak was cooked absolutely perfect and the smokiness of the hickory was in every bite but not overpowering. They even had a house steak sauce but I still preferred A1 over it. They have a very good gift shop as well for people out of town and I ended up getting a mug. With every cocktail they also give you a plastic 16 oz boot with the restaurant logo which I thought was a nice touch. This steakhouse is absolutely worth making a trip for out of town even. I would certainly plan my plans around eating there visiting Panama City again.

Rodeo’s is for sure a family favorite. Even on their busiest days, the service is good & the waits are fair. The food is always cooked to perfection. This is a great place for large groups & you will have a perfect view of the sunset. Indoor & outdoor seating. Wheelchair accessible. Kids menu.

Usually very good. This time the steak was slightly overcooked but that happens. In general I enjoy going. We eat there 4 to 5 times a year.

This is awesome! Food was cooked perfect. The steak was absolutely delicious. And our waitress was great. She kept our glasses full, and kept us laughing the entire time, and the owners were so friendly and made sure everything was on point. Food came fast and hot. I highly recommend giving them a try. You want be disappointed.

Working out of town went in for a good dinner. It was fantastic. Had 8oz ribeye, with blackened shrimp, dinner salad. The steak had great flavor. The blackened shrimp was really good. Sat outside on the back deck over looking the water. Had a great meal.

Showed up at 8:10pm on a Saturday night, was turned away from host. Sign says they close at 8:30pm, I understand if it is within 5mins of closing but 20mins early. Place has gone down hill

The food was great! One of the best steaks I've had in town! We were near the back door and every time it opened we got the not so lovely smell of the marina... But overall great experience!

The crab fingers were good, but not that large in size

We went this afternoon and when they went to seat us I told the girl we could not sit there the sun was shining Thu the window on the whole table she laughed and left us there the waitress laughed it off too.As the sun came down it was making five tables miserable we ended up leaving early. As we walked out you could see the front dining room was completely empty they could have used that area until the sun went down. No blinds, tint or anything on any of the windows

We've lived here for 28 years & this was our first time trying Rodeo's. Our server Paige was really sweet & attentive to us & her other tables. The steak/food was really good & we will definitely be back. I forgot..the view was beautiful too!

This place was recommended or we never would have found it...very friendly place and the food was excellent. The desserts sounded wonderful but we ere too full. Maybe nexttine!

Went here with family to celebrate 🥳 mine and brother birthdays🎂. My mom took us, and my dad and nephew came too. They had great food choices and a good kids menu. They had a back porch that had a great view and places to sit and watch the view. The service was as friendly and quick as possible, for it was dinner time. The food was delicious 😋 and was priced decent food the amount of food you got.

My husband and I recently moved to Panama City . However we visited here for years before we moved. We would always make sure that we would eat at Rodeos restaurant when we would visit. Now that we live here, we make sure to have lunch here at least once a week , and sometimes even dinner . We have been trying different restaurants too . So far Rodeos is the best ! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food is good , the atmosphere is good, and the service is excellent .

We were skeptical after reading some bad reviews, but we gave it a try. We drove 45 minutes to get there. We were settled immediately. Our waitress was Krystal. We had 2 teenager boys, my husband and me. The guys ordered 2 Combination dinners. I had the senior shrimp plate. When Krystal brought the food out for the 3 guys, it filled the table up let alone my plate that consisted of 7 shrimp. The food was incredible. It was HOT and very TASTY. I've never seen shrimp as large as these were. The guys could not finish all of their meal. In other words, it was a GREAT experience. We were pleasantly surprise and Krystal was a wonderful addition to our dinner. Try Rodeo's, you'll be happy that you went.

The 16oz steaks are on point! Try the corn nuggets, you will love them. Wings w/spicy bbq is yum yum. All together is reasonably priced and leaving STUFFED!

Rustic local steak and seafood on the water. Friendly staff. Fried gulf shrimp were excellent. Not a fan of the philly.

The Ribeye steak is a good size for the price and was extremely tasty. Rolls are a nice bonus and also taste great. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. More expensive than Texas Roadhouse but you have a more relaxed venue and friendlier staff.

Laden with an abundance of brisket, the flavors and textures transported me to the hallowed halls of a top-tier smokehouse, exceeding my expectations, especially considering its modest lunch menu pricing. While the specifics of my companions' dishes escape me, the collective satisfaction evident from their clean plates spoke volumes. Our server, whom I believe was named Tisha or Trish, displayed a remarkable blend of warmth and professionalism, with an impressive memory to boot. The ambience of Rodeos, nestled by the bay, offered a picturesque backdrop, while the pristine cleanliness of the interior added to the overall dining experience. As my family and I plan our next visit to town, Rodeos undoubtedly earns a spot on our itinerary, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of quality cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service. In reflecting on my experience, I can't help but conclude that any detractors of Rodeos must surely be in the throes of a particularly challenging day or possess a predisposition towards difficult dispositions.

Been coming here for over 15 years or so now and still hands down one of the best steaks you can get in bay county!

They seemed to be under staffed, as we waited forever for everything. Our drinks ran completely out several times.

Hadn’t been in a while so me and wife were looking forward to a good steak. Service was friendly and good. It was when the food arrived that the disappointment set in. As soon as steak was put on table I was sorry. I have worked cutting meat for years and what was supposed to be a ribeye was a New York strip. I complained to waitress she checked with cook and said it was I ribeye. I ate two bites and could no more. It was tough. Wife could not even eat hers. We got a box and left. Dogs had a hard time eating when we got home. Used to be a treat to eat here but no more!! Will not be back and any friends will know of experience.

Nice view of the Marina and water. Excellent BBQ, Steaks, and Seafood. I've never seen a place that was this good in all 3 of these categories. This place is quite unique in my experience. You'll definitely not leave hungry. I highly recommend it.
