The pizza and pizzolo were fantastic and the owners really nice and friendly. The space inside is small, so call ahead, or order as take out. You'll be glad you did. The restaurant will be closed for the month of August and half of September as the family will be returning to Sicily for vacation.

Please try the Speck pizza. It is delicious. Staff was very friendly.

The owners are from Italy and I can’t say enough of how good our pizza was for a Florida Pizzeria. It gave me a flashback of N.Y. Pizza. Thanks for the quality of food, customer service and welcoming us as if, we were part of your community. We will be back.

My wife and I are in from out of town with my in laws and grabbed a drink at the Irish bar next door. The bar had limited food and allows food brought in. We walked two doors down to this family owned pizza joint. We cannot stop talking about how fresh the crust and ingredients are. This is an absolute “can’t miss!” We all highly recommend giving it a try!

We were searching on Google for a "new" to us pizza restaurant. My husband found this wonderful gem. It is a small family run business. We were intrigued with the menu. There were several items that are Sicilian that we were not familiar with. Fabio explained them to us. We chose a pizzolo. It was so delicious. A must try if you've never had one, especially if you like thin crisp crust. There is a TV with a video of Italy playing. It sets the mood for your fantastic Italian meal. For dessert, we had canoli. The best we've ever had - not too sweet and very crispy- perfect. Fabio was a delight to talk with.

Went here first time yesterday. We had pepperoni Sicilian specially Pizzolo (double pizza crust with top crust seasoned with olive oil, oregano, and Romano cheese). Pure Sicilian and it was delicious. The family is from Sicily and it was a pleasure talking with them. Don't forget to try cannoli.

In the middle of a shopping plaza tucked away is a small restaurant where you'll find what I think is the authentic Italian food as someone who's never been to Italy. Tomatoe sauce better than anything you could make at home from a jar. I recommend the mozzarella stick, very delicious. I would come back more often if I lived closer to this area.

The flavors are superb and not the dumbed down Italian that Venice restaurants are unfortunately known for. This is delicious Italian done right with beautiful people. Have visited this great family run business for the second time this past weekend, and it was just a fantastic as the first visit. The Owners are very kind and put a lot of effort and love into what they prepare for their customers. The atmosphere is relaxing and feels like your visiting a family member. The pizzas are definitely some of the best we had in the area. Our next visit we will try their pasta dishes and my daughter is looking forward to the Cauliflower crust pizza. This is definitely our new go-to spot

Our first experience with the Sicilian Italian Pizzaria was nothing short of amazing. The Pizzola was absolutely perfect. Fabio was extremely engaging and friendly as was the rest of the staff. A great experience from the time walked in. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Venice.

It’s a conversation while enjoying delicious exceptionally made food. The calamari was like it just came out of the ocean and was put on our plate with a marinara sauce that was second to none. We were planning a video shoot for a business in the area and decided to have lunch here to finish off the details. It is a clean, quiet place with a TV playing a tour of Italy in the background. We had a great business lunch there with plenty of food. This pie was cooked to order, had fresh basil and a light cheese. This is definitely the best Sicilian pie in the area. It tasted like an artisan crust they way the prepared it. I’m looking forward to trying some other dishes and sandwiches soon. Thanks. Olga, one of the owners was amazingly friendly and gave me some Italian history. Definitely get some take out if you have a big group, they only have a few small tables there.

If you support this business you a real stupid people. My first and last visit. The meat ball did not properly packaged, falling off all over my car and my leg, made so messy in carpet and my leather seat，I need spending $200 dollars to do car detailing. I show the photos to owners, they have no apologies, just claims I am the first customer happened this issue, I ask have a new plate meat ball eating there, they agreed, ask me never coming back, of course, nobody will support your small business anymore! The owner family are racist, this business will shut down soon! God will not bless these shady people. Edit: This business changed owner one year ago, old owner was kind and making good food, but the new owner family behavior makes me feel so disgusting. After saw the owner review, this family are full of lies! Not deserve any trust and business! Let me repeat again! Who support them are idiots!

My husband and I love this pizzeria! Everything thing we had eaten here is absolutely authentic! Ogla, massimo and Fabio are 100% Italian. They cook and share family recipes with all of us! So Delicious we eat there once a week and we are meeting our neighbors and making new friends! I highly recommend this pizzeria you will love it!

Unexpected find. Unassuming strip center joint with authentic Siclian pies made by authentic Sicilians. Nice salads and perfect meatballs as well. Not just a pizza menu. We'll rounded and we'll prepared. Nice family operators.

Hidden gem of Venice! We came here yesterday for dinner, and it was amazing. We ordered the caprese salad, garlic bread sticks and the supreme pizza. Everything was delicious. Slices are HUGE. The staff is very nice and you can taste the passion they have for cooking in the food. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here for pizza while on vacation in Manasota Key, Florida and got the Sicilian square pizza. It was fantastic! My wife kept saying it was the best pizza she’d ever had. We didn’t call ahead with our order so we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. We will be coming here again in the future!

This was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. It’s up there in my top best pizzas too. The 16 in cheese pizza. Chocolate delight, and Chianti were the perfect combo and plenty of food for two people to split.

first time ever ordering here but i work a couple stores down so i thought why not. got the meatball sub, and coming from an italian family, it was the best meatball sub ive ever had. will definitely start eating there every day i work for dinner lol

My friend and I stopped in yesterday for lunch after spending a few hours at the beach. It was our first visit and definitely not our last. We ordered two small pizzas and they were both excellent. I'm extremely picky about my pizza, and I can honestly say my Margherita was the best I've had in the SW area.

Our regular pizza place in Venice was closed so we took a chance on Sicilia Italian Pizzeria and we are so glad we did! The pizza was fantastic! (We got a Napoli and a pepperoni) the Burrata was delicious, and the chicken Parmesan sandwich was perfect. We also tried the tiramisu and the cannolis (also fantastic). This will be our new pizza spot when visiting Venice! The service was excellent and the staff and owners are so kind and hospitable. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful locally owned restaurant with a great variety of pizzas to choose from. The owner was very welcoming which enhanced our experience. Food and service were outstanding! Definitely would recommend to both the locals as well as to the many visitors who travel to the area.

We drove down from Siesta Key and it was so worth the short trip. The homemade food was fantastic! The time we spent talking with the owner, his wife and son was amazing!! We loved it so much we are going back next week!

Let me just say that the Norma pizza is as beautiful as it is delicious! We also got the pizzolo and it was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and nice. I'd forgotten what customer service should be like. I wish we had taken pictures of the pies, they looked like a work of art. If you love pizza you gotta try this place.

My and my husband was in Venice Florida. We decided to stop in to this family own Italian pizza place. We are so glad we did, the food and service were wonderful. I'm sorry I forgot that owner's name.. He was so inviting and warm.. It reminded me whenever we were in Rome having pizza. You can't go wrong. It's a wonderful place..

I hesitate to say how good it was because the place is small and could easily become too crowded. Pizza & calamari top notch. Great service. Only down side is it is a bit warm inside… I suspect because of the pizza ovens and the size of restaurant.

This is not only the best pizza I have ever had in Florida, but it’s one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere! We went here for dinner on a recommendation and were not disappointed. It was very clean and authentic inside the restaurant. Fabio was super friendly and very attentive. They have many choices of pizza on the menu, but they’re are also very accommodating if you want to make a custom pizza. I also had the most amazing chocolate mousse dessert from Italy! Can’t wait to go back there!

I have yet to find a delicious pizza in Venice, Florida until today at Sicilian’s. Fabio was charming and oh so authentic, over from Italy for 5 years now. He told us how his father and step mom make everything fresh and from scratch. The pizza did not disappoint! It was perfectly thin and cooked exactly right! Wonderful family, welcoming atmosphere and the pizza was totally worth every penny.

Super nice family that runs this place. Very nice and clean inside. The pizza was just ok. Really nothing great about it that would make it worth the high price we paid. We won't be going back.

The BEST pizza I have had since coming to Florida 6 years ago!!! Without reservation, I recommend Sicilia Italian Pizzeria! Fadio, who is from (where else) Sicily, made us most welcome and comfortable and then served up an outstanding thin-crust pizza. The crust was firm enough to be nicely browned and able to hold the tip of a piece of pizza up without it drooping!! Try it; if you like thin crust pizza you’ll be pleased! There is not much seating in the restaurant. They are CLOSED TUESDAYS. I cannot wait to go back!!

This is my 4th visit since Ive discovered Sicilia. I bring a new friend each visit. Love this place! So authentic and delicious. I Love Grandma's pizza. Owners are so very nice and they cook with amore and aim to please. So happy to have them in Venice. Ciao

We took out pizza from here today and omg, it was so good! This is REAL pizza with quality cheese and ingredients how it’s supposed to be! Who needs this chain type of awful food, when there is a place in Venice like this. Now I want to try all their pizzas from the menu! We also had the calamari and shrimps, it was excellent too.

If you like true Italian pizza and great food, I highly recommend this small Sicilian family run pizzeria and restaurant. Staff is the family and they are friendly and attentive. Everything is made from scratch on-site and crafted using only ingredients from Italy. Classic Arancini and homemade cannoli is also available among truly fantastic pizzas! Location has the look and feel of a local shop in Sicily. My new go to place in Venice!

I rarely do reviews of anything on a public forum but I must tell everyone about the excellent customer service I received from Sicilia this afternoon. I ordered delivery through Doordash and ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic and extra sauce. I hate anything burned and I asked for a lite cook with no burning. Well I opened up the pizza and it looked amazing! I got a slice and the underside crust was burned too much for my liking. I ate it but was very disappointed. Also the basil was missing. After eating I contacted Sicilia and had an excellent chat on FB Messenger and just wanted to inform them of my experience. I expressed from the start of the chat I was not looking for any compensation. One of the owners kept insisting that they would make me a new pizza and deliver it. What amazing customer service! Okay, this time I asked that the basil be added and no romano cheese as I find it a little too salty for my taste. The owner also told me when you ask for extra sauce it needs to cook longer to heat the crust properly. Makes perfect sense so I had the extra sauce put on the side. The pizza was re-made and delivered by one of the owners, Olga, in a very timely manner. Thanks again Sicilia for making things right! What a refreshing customer service experience! I will be a customer for life. Other items I like about Sicilia is the amount of pepperoni they put on the pizza. It is like double pepperoni at other pizza places. Also their garlic is so mild and incredibly tasty. I usually don’t add this topping as most places their garlic overpowers the pizza. Thank you again Sicilia, you sure go above and beyond to make sure your customers are satisfied!

Love the pizza here. Most of the items on their menu are on the expensive side (even for Venice), but their pizzas are really tasty and their Sicilian Pie is one of the best I've had.

Do yourself a favor and get pizza here! We ordered the Grandma Square Pizza and added pepperoni. Let me tell you…. This is the best pizza in town. Ended the night with tiramisu, which was on par with the pizza. The owners were so attentive! Will definitely be back!

I don't do a lot of reviews, but if you are in this area and looking for an amazing pizza....this is place. Family run establishment and the food is homemade. We had an appetizer of meatballs before the pizza came out and they were incredible. The sauce was great! Can't wait to go back...it won't be long!

GO HERE! You could drive by this plaza over and over again and miss this hidden gem. Don't miss an opportunity to have a tremendous pizza that tastes straight out of some of the best places I've ever been too. Me and a buddy looked it up and read the reviews and said let's give it a try. It's humble and small place with maybe 20 seats. Decorated with a Sicilian theme. But this is like being in an Italian family kitchen, your right where they make everything and it's cozy for sure. We are sooo glad we went. Knowing we wanted pizza, we ordered a large sausage with olives. We also wanted to try something else, but nothing too much to nibble on while we waited for that pizza, so we asked for a side of meatballs. The meatballs came out quicklyand we dug right in. Boom, These were amazing homemade meatballs in a savory sauce (that we found out is literally made on site). So rich and full of flavor, the only thing missing would be a bit of bread with to sop up that amazing gravy, we didn't want to waste that sauce on the plate after we devoured the meatballs. so good. When the pizza was ready, we were thrilled, if it was half as good as the appetizer we would be sure we hit gold. AND The pizza didn't disappoint! What a winner. Now I understand that pizza is subjective, so if you like a thin crust with a delicious sauce, homemade sausage (they told us they make it themselves on site) and a perfect amount of mozzarella then dusted with Romano cheese when it comes out of the oven, well your gonna love this pie. No joke one of the best pies in a long time, and btw the olive oil and savory brushed crust was so crispy and delicious, blew us away. I wanted to try the grandma pie, but it will have to wait till next time. But there's no doubt that's gonna happen soon. I don't have a bad thing to say about this very humble little place, try it and expect great things!

Can’t accommodate a party larger than 2 people. Heaven forbid you want to give them money.

Absolutely ridiculous. Came in with a party of 6 and 3, there was 12 sits available. We were told they could accommodate us because we would “take up space”. A 4 top walked in who was clearly considered more important and sat immediately, while we were refused service for no reason.

Horrible experience that made absolutely no sense. Refused to service 9 people when 12 seats were available to instead accommodate people who came in after us.
