What an amazing experience we had! We have been in the Orlando area for over a year now and we're still looking for an authentic Italian restaurant. We finally found it. The food, atmosphere and service were exceptional. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to go.

Absolutely amazing so delicious. The service is perfect. The food is so fresh. We can't wait to go back. I wish they had a location in the Clermont/Winter Garden area.

First of all the majority of these 5 star reviews are not genuine. The restaurant most likely either paid for these reviews or asked family and friends to write them as it is very obvious, as every good review has perfectly edited pictures. Everything about my experience was bad, so bad I’m in the parking lot in front of the establishment writing the review. For starters, the food is not authentic, AT ALL! Not only is it not authentic, it is overpriced and for low quality ingredients. I’ve made frozen grocery store pizza better than them. So me and my daughter are foodies and we love trying new places so we decided to give Simply Capri a try since we’ve already covered most of the area. I pre looked over their menu and decided I’ll just do carry out as the meatballs were the only thing that interest me, but upon calling to place my takeout order I was told that they only do takeout orders for pizza only, which is ridiculous but oh well. So we decided to dine in. Ugh! I should have just went to Carrabba’s. I paid $15 for four nasty little meatballs, that were also hard and flavorless. I could’ve taken that same $15 and made about 25 meatballs at home that taste better than those, moving on, I decided I would just get a pizza since I was dining in and I’m obsessed with lemonade so of course I ordered that before seeing the $6 price tag, so I asked the waiter was it good and he said yes, turns out it was just water with lemon slices and on top of that the water was not even filtered. SMH, so the waiter comes back to the table trying to offer me another one. I told him no as I was not paying $6 for another one when I didn’t even enjoy the first one. The waiter offered to make me a new one, but instead he went and hid behind the door and the next thing I knew we had a new waitress, my daughter said she saw him discussing the Lemonade with another employee who kept shaking his head no so I’m assuming when he couldn’t change it out he just went into hiding. What a cowardly act. Soon after the new waitress brings out the smallest little pizza, 4 slices I could not believe it, $23 for four small slices. Omg, what a rip off! And of course the pizza was disgusting. Also, the waiter placed the silverware directly onto the table. What an insult. TBH, I think they’re using frozen foods, as both the meatballs and the pizza taste like they came from the freezer section of the grocery store. The low quality ones at that. Pros: None Cons: No takeout accepted other than pizza Overpriced Low quality ingredients Nothing tastes good Unfiltered water No plastic silver Subpar Service Not Authentic No toppings offered, like oregano, pepper flakes, etc. No goat cheese I do not recommend and I will never come back here again.

This place is going to be one of the first restaurants we will be visiting when we are hungry in Orlando again. This place is amazing, customer service is the best I’ve ever seen. They are really nice and patient and check on you frequently and will make you laugh. This place is a must visit if you’re looking forward for some Italian food or even if you’re just hungry. And last of all they have a kids menu and the prices overall are worth what it’s priced for. You won’t regret coming here.

This was one of the most absolute worst places you could eat. Food is to expensive and not worth the price. first off the waiter put are silverware on the dirty table and expected us to use it. lemonade was disgusting and when we mentioned it to the waiter he offered to remake it which was sweet except the fact that he never came back and was avoiding us from there on out. Are new waitresses barely understand she was nice tho. the meatballs were 15 dollars so you would think we enjoyed it, NO tiniest meatballs ever and all not even seasoned welled. They are known for their pizza however that was disgusting as well. the pizza 23 dollars and only for small slices that tasted like a skating ring pizza they don’t even come with toppings and they force you to sit inside because they don’t do takeout. 50 dollars wasted. I MAY NOT BE FROM Italy ITALY BUT THIS AIN’T IT SIS. i would not ever recommend this place to anyone.

The good- great atmosphere and fabulous service. Our server was wonderful. The service is top notch. We ordered the meatball appetizer and calzone. The meatballs had no flavor and had to be frozen. I know the owner responded to another review and said they were homemade. I find this hard to believe. I could get a bag at Costco and the quality would be equivalent. The sauce was also bland. The calzone wasn't a typical calzone. The toppings were on top instead of inside. It was mediocre. We hoped the dessert would be the saving grace. The tiramisu mainly had cream and very little lady fingers. Barely any cocoa or coffee undertones. I didn't even bother finishing it. The cannoli was decent but I wouldn't order it again. Our waiter checked on us and asked how everything tasted. We lied and said it was good because we felt bad because everyone was so nice and attentive. I don't understand how this place has such raving reviews. Neighbors always recommend it. It is very pricey as well. We spent $100 for an appetizer, calzone and two desserts. At that price point I expect better food. I could justify the cost if I left satisfied. This place is a one and done for us unfortunately. Love the atmosphere and service but the food was below average. I'm wondering what all these 5 star reviews are ordering!

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to give a 10 star review… when you just come back from Italy and craving those same flavors and/or flare this is the spot. This the closest you will get to capri. From the service to the top quality ingredients. This place has my heart! 🤍 simply amazing.!

Great piece of Italy in Orlando. Food and service are amazing

It was like taking a trip back to Italy. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant! From the authentic bufala mozzarella to the San marzano tomatoes used on the pizza it was amazing. And just like in Italy they never rushed us while dining and we actually enjoyed a nice, slow 2 hour lunch savoring every bite of their delicious food. Our little one LOVED the kids menu and so well priced considering the quality of the food. I only wish they made cacio e pepe pasta/carbonara but I know that’s not an amalfi cosst style food as we haven’t found it anywhere else. We will absolutely be back🙌🏼

Food and service were excellent!!

We went with another couple for dinner and we both now live in Florida and both are from NJ.so our taste buds can be very different then many people who move to Florida. My wife & I had a personal margarita Pizza as an appetizer & it was delicious. My buddy had a vegetable soup & he said it was delicious. Both myself and my friend both ordered meatballs & spaghetti. While the spaghetti & the sauce was tasty We both agreed that the meatballs tasted like they came out of a bag from Costco or BJ’s. They tasted like they had been frozen, reheated, and rubbery. I have to say that Both our wives loved their meals. The prices were definitely on the higher side. The service was impressive and attentive.

The pennette al salmone is just amazing. I’ve had a variety of their dishes and they never disappoint! The pizza is also amazing.

The service is perfect, especially the waiters, Fede and Andrea, who are very attentive and whose service is very much appreciated, as is the food. The only small downside is the behavior of a certain Benito, who I think is the boss, he behaves in a very haughty manner with a lot of contempt, you have to smile and be helpful if you want to attract customers. Bravo to the waiters who put up with him every day, because he doesn't look very friendly.

Disregarding the food poisoning, it's just not worth the price. Nice place with decent outdoor seating and a good atmosphere. But, the food was just ok in flavor and my son got sick from the pizza. Ended up throwing up all over Target. I ate a couple of his slices and I almost lost it too. Service was ok.

Italian friend recommended this restaurant. Said it was as authentic as it gets. Antonio was our waiter. He was very attentive, outgoing and professional. Gave us excellent recommendations and we loved them all especially the POLPETTE CAPRESI - homemade meatballs, CACCAVELLA CAPRESE - Ravioli and the DELIZIA AL LIMONE - sponge cake for dessert was so good! Definitely recommend! Oh, and the lamb chops were so juicy and tasty! 😋

Family had a delightful time, led by our server, Filippo, who was a kind and attentive curator for our whole experience, just as you’d find in Italy. The buffala mozzarella with roasted sugar bombs were spectacular and the pizza the best for many miles. We loved the food, drink, atmosphere and authentic comfort surrounding a delightful meal from Amalfi.

Food, service and atmosphere couldn’t be better, this is now my favorite Italian restaurant in Orlando, I even bought a couple of pizza to take home for the rest of the family. Definitely coming back soon!

Delightful new addition to the Winter Garden area. Fast and friendly service and DELICIOUS PIZZA.

It’s good. Enjoyed the meatballs, shrimp and veggies and the pistachio gelato. Took husband for a Father’s Day brunch. My daughter liked her mocktail and we 3 all enjoyed the food, the service and the drinks.

Visited on August 3 for dinner. We’re local to Flamingo Crossing but don’t think we’ll go here again. Kind of, meh. Pizza and salad was okay. Bread service was really sad. It’s an Italian restaurant and they gave us 1 tiny piece of “focaccia” bread per person that was essentially white bread. I got a seafood carbonara and it was really awful. Sauce wasn’t good. Very dry. Canned seafood, chopped shrimp, bay scallops (like 3). Definitely not what you expect from a $30 pasta. Chicken dish was overdone. Meatballs seemed like they were from a bag. Never a good sign when meatballs are identically sized and shaped and also tiny. Wine flight was disappointing. Both that we had at our table had uneven pours in the 3 glasses. Like one 2 oz, one 1 oz, one 1.5 oz. Red wines were a little vinegary. Just not what I expected given so many positive reviews. Go for a pizza, don’t expect much more.

Delicious , the halibut was perfect

Wonderful experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. I felt like I was back in beautiful Capri with fabulous food, delicious cocktails (the cosmo may be my favorite in Orlando!), and exquisite ambiance. Gregory and Federica were a delight and very attentive to our table. We ended with authentic limoncello and will definitely be back! Saluti!

I want to start this by saying the food is delicious. If you go out solely for food, check this place out. Everything else is a mess. We had a table for 6 and a friend came to join us. We pulled up a chair for him and then an older man in a white suit came over and told us to move the chair back. That was fine and we did. But then he returned to the table and yelled at all of us saying “THIS IS MY HOUSE”. I’m not quite sure what irritated him or why it did that badly. We got our drinks after 45 mins of waiting because our server quit in the middle of the service after an interaction with the same man. If that is who runs this restaurant, I can see why it’s running so poorly. This isn’t a “house” … this is a restaurant that I paid to attend and if he’s there, I will never spend another dollar at Simply Capri.

First time guest and very impressed with quality of food, ambience and service. Well organized in the kitchen as Chef Livio delivered 4 perfectly prepared starters and main courses for our group👍. This organization showed on the floor as all guests were being treated with excellent service and great food!

This place is amazing for family, or a nice date night. The ambiance, decor, cleanliness, and open floor plan made it inviting for large or small dining without the high level of noise. We celebrated my uncles birthday and did our part to add to the noise levels. The waitstaff was amazingly attentive ,insightful even offering up suggestions, paring ideas and humor . Food was freshly made and all meals were delicious. As a family celebration we naturally sampled one anothers dishes and everyone fully satisfied. Must try is the caponata sorrentina, the coppa sorrentina pistachio, cocktail -Italian job, and definite must is the affogoto expresso! Looking forward to a return visit. Maybe next time his wife can wear the tiara. :)

The food was amazing! But what really made the experience was the service… Fede was truly so friendly and kind while accommodating all our needs!

Great atmosphere, great food, price is fairly decent I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was 100% not worth the price. I got the chicken and it was under seasoned but the vegetables were good. My husband got the salmon pasta and it was so salty he couldn’t even finish his meal. Both drinks we got were pretty good (the raspbellini and the Sicilian ice tea). When it came time for dessert I would recommend to skip it. Between the espresso over vanilla ice cream and the lemon sorbet. The sorbet was sickly sweet and hard to eat in the glass they serve it in. The other was lack luster. Not worth the hype online. Overall the service was really nice that’s why I’m leaving 3 stars.

Today I went to the restaurant in a group of 6 asking for a table inside because was raining, and Benito ( the hostess) was so rude with us telling us that that the tables inside was only for 7 or 9. Even when we tried to reserve in the evening they told us that was first come first serve . He ruin my birthday :(

Celebrating a birthday last night at Simply Capri was a wonderful time made extra special by our wonderful wait staff, Federica & Andrea. They both were exceptional along with delicious drinks, dinner and dessert! Highly recommend!

We had a great dinner. Started with the meatballs and burrata. Then lasagna , clam linguine and cheese ravioli. Finally finished with a fantastic canoli. I’d highly recommend.

Took my fiancée here for her birthday. The food was amazing. She had the Margherita pizza, and I had the spaghetti con polpette, which was basically spaghetti with meatballs. First off, their pizza was very authentic to how it would be in Italy, and the spaghetti and meatballs were the best I have ever had in any restaurant. Also, i tried their negroni cocktail, and that too was the best I have ever had it at any restaurant. The vibe and decor of this place was authentic Italian, which we really enjoyed. The service was also amazing. They do this thing where multiple waiters are in charge of a certain seating area, so you are always getting tended to and not having to wait too long. Definitely will be returning again.

Absolutely amazing food and service! The server was so attentive and charismatic, and made the best recommendations! You must try the lemon cake for dessert :) it Is incredibly light and fluffy.

The food was delicious and well proportioned. I ordered the spaghetti alla carbonara di mare, it was delicious! Even the simple pasta with butter, for my toddler, looked and tasted delicious :) Our servers were top-notch and so caring! And the atmosphere was laid back, yet elegant. I'm definitely going back!

Food was not very food, it was edible I give it a C- sauce is very acidic and the soup had no flavor but starch. The pizza was mediocre and acidic sauce the meatball appetizer was cold chef was unable to add ricotta to pasta for no reason. not sure how this place has 4.6 stars most people obviously don’t know what good food is all an opinion

The servers were working really hard. But the managers were rude to us and other customers. The food was ok, but it was what i would expect from that price range. But by far the worst part of the experience was the people at the table next to us. They loudly proclaimed they were friends of the owner. They proceeded to bully and harass the servers. And then drunkenly demanded a discount because they were friends of the owner. I’m not sure if they actually were friends of the owner. However, if they were not friends of the owner management should have stepped in to protect their employees and the Experience of the other customers. If they are friends of the owner of, the owner should find better friends.

Amazing atmosphere! Fede was amazing. She recommended the best things. The food and drinks were delicious.

We stopped in for dinner, and loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch. The entire staff makes you feel like part of the family, and the food is truly authentic and delicious. Absolutely make it a priority to eat here.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary in Italy last year and couldn't think of a local, more authentic way to spend our 21st. Our entire dinner was incredible! The attentive wait-staff, Fabio and Vincenzo, took great care of us and there was never a moment that our glasses weren't filled with a smile. Each selection was delicious and my carbonara was even better than the one I had in Rome and Positano. All of the staff speak Italian and English making us feel like we were back in Italy. Another incredible dinning experience!

I wanted to like this place but honestly waiting 20min for the server was hearable and the food wasn't very good.

This place truly is a gem. Convenient location in Flamingo Crossings, close to Horizon West and Disney. The inside and outside have a very blue and yellow Italian seaside feel and gives the whole place an airy personality. The care and quality in the food is top notch and it’s clear that they import a lot of ingredients to maintain the quality and the authenticity. We had the meatballs, a seafood pasta, a lasagna, and pistachio gelato for dessert. Everything was unbelievable. The true way this place shines is the service. We had Federica and Andrea who let us fumble through our elementary Italian when ordering and brought us bread to mop up the extra sauce left on our entrees deeming it “necessary” for our enjoyment. Truly a different class of service and dedication to the culture. Highly recommended for all these reasons and I will be returning as a regular. PS. They have Vivoli Gelato and Kimbo coffee. That is worth the price of admission in itself.

Closest to homemade Italian food I’ve had in the Orlando area ! Will be back soon! Zappa Di Verdure ( veg soup) was delicious as was the Caccavella Caprese ( ravioli) . We are local. We will be back !

Food was Very Good! The pasta is fresh, they use San Marzano Tomato's for sauces. Staff is friendly and helpful. Portions are good. Definitely a place to go for GOOD Italian food.

Nice ambiance, great service, pizza wasn’t as impressive as I’d expect from a place named Capri. The dough was too chewy and doughy for my taste. I was expecting thar airy well fermented neopolitan doughy. Overall nice experience

By far the best service we have had in years (thanks to Lou). Food is good. Atmosphere in there is very loud.

Biggest complaint here is the menu prices and serving portions. The Trio Tasting Plate is an appetizer priced at $18 PER PERSON. We ordered for 4 people and there was barely enough for ONE person to eat but got charged $72. What a joke.

Eduorado at the bar and Fabio the waiter are just two of the many staff at this authentic Italian restaurant that provided exceptional service. We felt welcomed from the moment we entered and had a fantastic meal in this light and airy respite. Simply Capri leans toward seafood but had plenty of great dishes for everyone and the team asked and attended to my wife’s complicated food allergies. The wine list has many Italian wines you won’t find elsewhere curated into flights that allow you to expand your palate, and the cocktail menu is very creative and wide-ranging. Cannot recommend highly enough. We ate at Tutto Italia in Epcot the day before and the experience at Simply Capri was so much better in every way. Take advantage of this sit down oasis in Flamingo Crossings Village!
