My girlfriend and I ordered 2 omlets and biscuits and gravy to split. Our omlets came 10 minutes apart. i guess they had to remake one, and biscuits and gravy never came. The omlet was great but would have liked to eat with my guest. We both passed on asking for our biscuits and gravy. Wish i wouldn't have had to pay and tip before we got our food.

Friendly staff. Food was freshly cooked. A great hardy breakfast. Bacon was extremely good and grits and the homemade biscuit just wonderful

Sat up there for a hour waiting for my food, asked to just put it in a to go box, didn’t put bacon on my sandwich, no cocktail sauce with my shrimp and food not even that good

When the jerk owner let the cook Dustin go he lost a DAMN good cook and he changes the ages of the young girl there a 14 yr old working and he changed it to 17 so he can work her. Makes you wander what is his intentions are with them??

Overall I give it a 5* rating. The one issue I had was the bacon on my BLT was so unbelievably overcooked and hard as a brick. IDK if it was the type brand they use or what it was. It tasted delicious, it was just a tad bit overcooked for me personally. The price was fair and definitely competitive with most restaurants in the area. Very clean establishment and they cook everything right there in front of you. I would definitely recommend stopping in for lunch one day if you're in the area. I haven't gotten a chance to get by there for breakfast yet. To be continued??

Waited almost 30 minutes and finally found out my order had not been submitted. Chicken wrap was fair, sweet tea was good.

This is a typical little mom and pop restaurant. You seat yourself but order your food at the counter first. There is no table side waitress to take your order. Then they call your name when your food is ready. Sort of cafeteria style service. The food was good and I ordered a simple egg and bacon with grits breakfast platter. I don’t like the non-refrigerated creamers in my coffee and not the powdered stuff rather with all the chemicals in it. So I asked for a little milk for my coffee and while I did get what I asked for, the woman who took my order kept pushing the dry creamer and non-refrigerated creamer. It’s like I was asking for an entire cow when I asked for a little milk for my coffee! I got the “deer in the headlight look” from her. Overall the food was good. I would come here again. The prices are low for the amount of food you get.

I usually don’t leave reviews but had to with this. I travelled from out of state and tried Simply Southern in Macclenny Florida, and it didn’t disappoint! I was surprised how affordable the prices were and how delicious the food was. I had grits, eggs, turkey sausage and it comes with toast but you can order biscuits if you want. Five-star all the way on the taste, the grits were better than perfection and the eggs were cooked exactly how I ordered. This is definitely above any breakfast place I have ever been to. The menu has something for everyone and the ambience is perfect with booth seating or tables and chairs. The staff was working hard and you could tell enjoyed what they were doing and were very professional and welcoming. The patrons were nice and friendly as well. My only wish is that they had one of these restaurants in Columbus, Georgia.

Small and quaint. Very clean. Great place for nice size sandwiches. Large breakfast menus. Had a Cuban sandwich. Best I've had north of Miami. French fries were just right. You can constantly refill your drinks, various variety. Off the beaten trail in downtown Macclenny across from library. Been wanting to try Simply Southern for a while now. Made the right choice and will differently be back many more times. Friendly atmosphere. Service was great. Opens for Breakfast at 6 am and closes at 2 pm.

Very nice find on our trip to our granddaughter 's graduation. When we get back to town we will be visiting here again!

Cute little place. First time visit here, but we enjoyed the food. We aren't big fast food breakfast fans, actually not at all, so we were happy we found this place. The portions were just the right size and the cinnamon roll, was really good too.

My wife and I usually look for small, out-of-the-way diners when we visit a town. Simply Southern Eatery is why we do. Nice menu, great prices, fast service, small town cjharm, and it is proof the locals know where the best dining is at. I had the BLT and my wife had the fish sandwich. Both five stars!

Food was delicious though the lady that brought our food to our table was not friendly at all, we thanked her for bringing our food to us and she just looked at us like we were a bother and walked off.

Simply great! We were looking for a local restaurant while in the area and went here based on the reviews. The staff were friendly and delivered excellent home cooked food. Prices were reasonable and the takeout cinnamon bun was yummy. Highly recommend

There were no waitresses. We read the menu, then went to the counter to place our order, and paid first. Never been to a restaurant that didnt have a waitress. Wasnt sure if we should have left the dishes on the table, or carry them to the sink and wash them. A very weird experience.

Omelet was great. Loved it. The brek burrito was small. The quaint atmosphere was very inviting. The sweet tea was the best. Very reasonable prices. Definitely will go back

If your in the area and need breakfast or lunch they can satisfy what your hankering for. A great selection and quick service let alone a friendly atmosphere to see you through your dining needs. When an establishment takes the time to make things from scratch and be delicious too you know you have a winner! I will definitely come back when I'm in town and direct anyone who enjoys a good time there!

I had a BLT that was out of sight. My co-worker had a chicken salad that was to die for. The service was impeccable. The price point was economical. We both truly enjoyed our experience and would love to visit again and again.

Basic breakfast foods. Got our food right. Only thing is Chef Mic did most of the work.

Very nice place and girl at the counter was nice. Boys got the chicken tenders w/ fries which they loved. Husband got a breakfast plate which he also loved. I also got a breakfast plate but didn't enjoy. The eggs looked thick if thats even possible and tasted weird but the worst part were the GRITS! I will never again! They were made with some kind of cream maybe? I don't know but y'all i wasn't raised like that! I'd still go back, steering way clear of breakfast though.

Great little stop in Macclenny Florida for breakfast and lunch I believe they close about 3 but you can get all kind of items you can buy by allacart I eat here a couple times a week
