This place is excellent. Good atmosphere and tap selection, and pretty good service. All the bison and beef burgers I've had here were excellent, but I would skip the others.

I have been hearing about this place being a hidden gem in Bradenton for a while now. My family and I finally tried it out tonight and we are beyond impressed. It definitely lives up to the hype. We ordered takeout, but will be going back to dine in very soon. I hear it’s an even better experience. The space was clean, felt inviting and safe. They also serve gluten free buns which is helpful because we have a gluten allergy in the family. It’s hard to find place that can accommodate for everyone. Just a really chill spot to enjoy good food that won’t break your wallet. Service is what sold me and is why I will be back. Amanda took our to go order and she is the kindest person you will ever meet. She had such great energy. Smiled and welcomed everyone who came in. If you go in make sure you ask for Amanda she will make your experience unforgettable. Thank you for dinner S.O.B!

Fantastic selection of burgers and beers. You really can't go wrong with any choice. This last one I had was topped with Mac and cheese and bacon with two patties. A monster burger that I couldn't finish(doesn't happen often). Cool funky vibes and you are made to feel welcome. My only gripe were the wings seemed a bit dry but they were crispy and the flavor of the rub was on point. Definitely recommend!

Pretty high rated already so why read my review, and just go try it. Why go to a fast food joints when this place will give you what you want; a good old fashioned tasty burger.

Food is amazing!!!!!! I had the voodoo burger 🤤🤤🤤🤤 the guy who waited on us was really nice. We had to move tables which wasn't an issue. The only thing was the table that was open We moved there was something on it sticky. But hey they made up for it in the food. And the music was a tad loud bc the server couldn't hear us really. But all in all id definitely go back!!!!! Awesome food really hit the spot! :)

We were trying to find somewhere to eat lunch before we flew out of Sarasota and decided SOB looked good and it exceeded our expectations!! All the food was excellent, best burgers we’ve had in a long time! I had The Vooooo and the Cajun cream cheese on it was sooo good!! The customer service was great, everyone was super friendly. The food came out very quick. Would highly recommend! So sad we don’t have this place in Ohio!

Me and my family had gone to SOB just for a decent burger, and we got something so much better than just a “decent burger,” I myself had The Brewmaster and it was one of the BEST burgers I’ve ever had, the K.I.S.S BLT was also delicious, everything we had was great. The waitress is one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and she brings a great vibe to the place. 5 stars all the way!

This is my 3rd time there and I love it. The staff is super friendly, the burger tastes amazing. You can tell it is homemade. And their menu is hilarious. I love how creative they are, from the restaurant decoration to the name they give to their meals. I will definitely come back and recommend this place!

Our party of 4 had a GREAT experience tonight @ SOB Burgers. Order was perfect, food was served in a timely manner and was delicious! My husband was able to get all drummies as he prefers instead of a drummie & flat mix like the majority of other places offer. Amanda was awesome! We’ll be back - and I’m going to try the chicken sandwich next time. 😉

SOB Burgers really surprised us with their excellent food and their amazing Service by Amanda. They are very child friendly and caring, Made Sure our son (4 years) got His Fries asap, and it was also no Problem i brought some Special food for my 3 years old daughter, who has food allergies. Their prices are reasonable and the portions really large. We will definatelly come Back for more.

Well, i asked a local for a burger place... Without hesitation, she said S.O.B. And now i know why!! Great selection of different burgers. From regular Angus to Lamb, chorizo, Cajun Turkey, Bison, and MORE. Appetizers include homemade tater tots, Guinness Onion rings, Pretzels and CHILI !! When i walked in, the restaurant had every table full. The server was hustling doing her best. She could've used help right then but got it under control quickly. So props on that. Open since 2014 with a concentration on quality ingredients. This burger spot is the best I've had in a long time and I'm betting it will run circles around any of your faves. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had… Topped off with having great fresh cut french fries. Can never understand why a restaurant would add coating to their french fries. Staff was awesome as well.

My father ,brother, and I felt like a real good burger. I had heard of S.O.B. But never been so we decided to try it out. We were greeted with a smile and hello as we entered and were seated. There is room for 40 customers but with us tonight (6/27/24 Thursday at 730 pm) there were only 15 people, nice and quaint. Amanda, our waitress quickly got our drinks then took our food order. I had the “South of the Border”Burger, my father “The ‘Shroom” burger, and my brother “The Pork Belly”. Each was served with a side( for free, or a slight up-charge for items like Sweet potato fries) as part of the meal. Drinks were $2.95 and water free. The food was to die for excellent. Service excellent and fast as well. Great quiet , cozy atmosphere and centrally located just north of SRQ airport. We will definitely be back again…. Oh and the bathrooms were clean too.

From the moment we entered, we felt welcomed and appreciated. We found an open table and began reading the menu. The server was at our table quickly and was able to answer all our questions (we have a food allergy in our family). The first thing I told our server was, "The reviews online brought us here today". It is a family-oriented atmosphere, clean and relaxing. Our food arrived quickly and was exactly as described. The portions were generous / fairly priced and the value is present at S.O.B. Burgers. Everything tasted awesome! Overall, it was a perfect dining experience. We have three young children and they all loved their food and nothing was leftover...they ate everything they ordered. We will definitely be back and we were happy to write this review for them.

Our server Amanda was great! The burger was so good. Loved the beer cheese and pretzel bun. My partner loved the housemade blue cheese on his burger. Looking forward to trying others.

I ate at SOB for the first time today after hearing how great it was from others. Amanda greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. There were two large groups who had arrived right before me and there were other parties waiting to be seated. Even with as busy as it was, Amanda took care of me and my order with great care and precision. The food, a SOB burger with fries, was delicious! The burger had great flavor, cooked to perfection. The fresh cut fries were also cooked just right. Amanda worked really hard to take care of her tables and I was appreciative of her efforts. I’ll definitely go back again!

A great burger joint. I love a place that has enough faith in the quality of their meat and the ability of the grill cook to prepare the burger. Medium Rare. Nicely done. The one person, front end staff juggled every table that came in expertertly! I am glad the menu is deep it will give many options to try in the future.

I got the Hangover burger 10/10 cooked perfectly, nice presentation, and portion size for price was perfect. My husband got the Voodoo Burger 10/10 for all the same reasons and lastly, our daughter got the Lame Burger. 10/10 as well, although she’s smaller and wasn’t quite able to finish her burger. 😁 This place was amazing and I will definitely remember it the next time I’m in Bradenton.

We stopped in for the first time to try it out and it was delicious! This is the only burger place that I’ve been to with a gluten free bun that didn’t fall apart. Delicious hand cut fries. But aside from the food, I will say, Amanda (our waitress) MADE OUR EXPERIENCE. She is so friendly, upbeat, and very personable. She made us feel welcomed and like we’ve been there a million times before. We’ll be returning because of her.

10/10 meal! The burgers are fantastic! So filling and flavorful! The buns we able to hold up to all that was put on and each topping better than the last! The Mac and cheese was fantastic and would recommend getting as its own side! The ranch is literally to die for take it home for sure! Mariana was an absolute pleasure! She was friendly and very welcoming!

Absolutely amazing burgers, service and atmosphere!!! We came here from Gainesville for our kids summer mini vacation and found this little gem.. and holy Batman are their burgers incredible!!! Not only are their burgers amazing but our server was the literal best!!! It’s very rare to find good customer service anywhere! So to find incredible customer service is like one in a million and that’s what they have at SOB Burgers! I have a new favorite drink and newfound respect for my teenage son being able to eat an entire Holy Grail burger. When in Bradenton, make sure to check them out! 🫶🏻🍔

This place is so good! The food was top notch. We had a lot of leftovers bc the burgers are enormous. If it comes out with a knife in it, you know it's going to be good. I got the Holy Grail and hubs got the Voodoo burger but added an egg. Amanda was our waitress and killed it. They had a rush of customer and she was the only one on the floor and did awesome. 10/10 would recommend.

Called in a to-go order. Got home, and realized charged for fries, but no fries. Burger was OK (actually seemed dry) and baked beans were so-so. Not a place I would return to.

From the second we walked in and we were greeted by Amanda, we knew it was a different kind of place. The atmosphere was fun. Lots to look at, many creative dollars taped to the wall. I added an origami dollar bill bunny to the wall. The food was SUPERIOR. I put this place in my 'saved' places on my maps app. We will definitely be coming back.

First they have options for non beef eaters, they have turkey and impossible burgers. As well they have a lamb burger. I had the lamb burger which had lovely spices that complemented the lamb. Family member had the Mac and cheese impossible burger. The mac n cheese was wonderful had had some of the crust from the top being baked. Will come back here.

The restaurant is a little confusing to get to but it’s worth it. Food is great… warm lightly toasted bun, flavorful and perfectly moist patty, egg cooked to perfection so it’s not overly runny, and service that was so pleasant (especially for a to-go order). Also, the burger as a whole is not too thicc ;) and too thin. Will be coming back more often.

This place is very good. Server is Gold. Burger is amazing. Prices are very good too. If you like your fries crispy just ask for extra crispy.

Dog Friendly. Oh my the burgers were awesome. We have been visiting this area for two weeks and this is the one place we both want to visit again before leaving. Tall about flavor bombs in your mouth. This place does it right.

I had the Shroom Burger with Pretzel Bun and fries. My family ordered the Holy Grail and it was HUGE. The mac and cheese was so creamy and tasted awesome. The Fries were fresh and so good. The service was amazing. She was the only waitress and she was killing it. She was super friendly and did a GREAT Job. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a gem! The burgers are insanely good and a must try for burger lovers. We had the S.O.B burger and the Vodoo burger with mac and cheese (which is insanely cheesy:)) and their coleslaw which was also an highlight!

Was up in Sarasota for work and wanted a burger before I made the trek home. Could've stopped at any fast food place, but one of the 1st listings on Google was this place, and the picture looked gorgeous. So I arrive and upon walking in I'm greeted by classic rock, and a wall full of decorated dollar bills. The menu and the atmosphere give off a "biker bar" theme. Looking at the menu, I decided to go with "The Bitchin", a burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, and barbeque sauce, with a side of onion rings. Boy was I not dissapointed! Onion rings fried perfectly and the burger was beautiful! I think the best part of this place is the food is fresh, made to order. You may wait a little longer, but in my mind, it's worth it! Will be sure to stop by again the next time I'm in Sarasota.
