Stopped in to get some goodies for my neighbors in OP whose entire large family has extremely sensitive gluten allergies and so they only eat out maybe twice a year. I own a restaurant around the corner so I figured I’d pop in and grab some for my neighbors to try out. I ended up grabbing one thing myself to try, and OH MY LORD. To be completely allergen free is incredible with the flavors I just experienced. Will be back again and again and I’m so excited to share this box with my neighbors! Customer service was excellent as well, can’t forget that part!

🤩Today was our first time coming here it was the best donuts I ever had and didn't hurt my belly as we are lactose intolerance and loved it gluten free here I found my favorite happy place we will be back beautiful kind souls working there too made it even more pleasant🥰

This is my wife's favorite place. She has celiac disease and is typically limited in her selection, but here they make some really really good gluten free pastries! I can still eat gluten, but honestly their gluten free is good to the point that I couldn't even tell you that its gluten free. (It is safe though, her service dog checks everytime)

Fantastic allergy-free and wholesome ingredients. They made my daughter’s smash cake for her first birthday (she has a dairy allergy), and I’ve picked up cupcakes for my oldest daughter’s birthday parties for the guests that have allergies too. Always fantastic and a hit! Unless you’re picking up a custom order you have to get there early as the line is out of the door in the morning.

Love this place! I really love that they have vegan options. I tried the Homer donut, original glazed and the cinnamon roll; they were all fantastic! Definitely give this place a try.

As you can see, the Homer is a fan fav here! I drive 45+ minutes so I can get these doughnuts with my daughter.

Got a cake for my coworker to celebrate a career milestone who is vegan. It was beautiful and delicious! Staff was super helpful.

We got a plain glazed and chocolate glazed donut. They are just meh. The dough is very dense, more like bread. Not much flavor and tough to chew. More rubbery in texture than a melt in your mouth donut. The display cases were not very well lit so it was hard to see what some of the other items were. Overall not very appealing, would not go back. We prefer a traditional donut.

The people were very polite and the food looked delicious, unfortunately that's as far as it goes. I wanted to stop here excited for the reviews getting gluten free goodies on vacation, we got various gluten free muffins I could only take a small bite the rest got tossed I felt almost sick trying to keep it down, my children and I had multiple bathroom runs. If this isn't enough to convince you the honest conversation my kids had in the backseat... Kid 1: do you want the rest of my muffin? Kid 2: no thanks I'm full. Neither one finished theirs either it was like sugar and mush almost like uncooked. I will not be a returning customer $16 wasted.

Just left...I'm not even a vegan and the food was absolutely amazing. The BLT biscuit and cinnamon roll are two of the best things that I have ever had. The customer service is top tier as well. We will be coming back!!!! Returned 6/8...still wonderful!!!! The chocolate chip loaf is probably one of the best things that I have ever eaten. It's needs to be a regular item on the menu.

The food here is amazing, and the service is friendly. The desserts are so tasty, even my husband who is not vegetarian or vegan loves them. Sometimes the line is out the door. They're just that good!

I didn't like the atmosphere because outside there was a dead rat carcus. And I threw up and my son got sick because of the smell.

Try emailing in advance because the phone is rarely answered these days. It’s best to contact them a month in advance at least for party orders. I’ve been going here for 6 years and I’ll put up with what ever just for them. This is the only place my son wants to get his allergen free sweets. Sometimes I feel bad when I can’t drive over for him in the middle of the day. Ha!

So excited to try, but sadly disappointed in the selection and taste

I ordered a custom birthday cake and communicated with Katie R. On pick-up day, the cake was elegantly decorated and delicious. We were stunned with the outcome. Thank you so much for providing baked goods for those with food sensitivities!

Do not count in this bakery for your event. They do not respond to emails and if you call, they tell you to email them. I got no response to my request for a cake for my birthday and I emailed multiple times.

Apologies…I live on the Northside and was interested in finding a new bakery…big mistake…1748 Bakehouse…the staff was very nice…that was about it…cinnamon roll and almond/chocolate danish…was going to order more…glad I didn’t…ST has to have the best cinnamon roll ever…yes, even better than Cinnabon…1748 didn’t even come close…guess I’ll continue to drive to you…you guys are awesome

Someone brought Sweet Theory cupcakes and donuts to work last week. They were delicious. So I went Saturday to get some for my family. Saturday they open at 9am, I arrived around 10am. Bought 2 donuts and 2 cinnamon rolls and they were all dry and seemed stale. Preeetttyyy sure I paid full price ($17 and change after tax) for at least day-old goods. Gross. Cute spot but the layout & service was not efficient. I won’t be a returning customer and cannot recommend them.

Lillie is great and so are the sweet treats! Highly recommended. Come early.

I used to really enjoy getting gluten free loafs here, but the last time I went I was insulted by a picture I noticed they had displayed. It was of Jesus as a dog in a nativity scene. I found that unnecessary and really disrespectful. No food is worth buying from an establishment like this one.

Everything is always good and fresh. I would give a five star if they kept at least more of the classic donuts in stock. Everyone eats a classic donut!

You won't find a better guilt free pleasure. Donuts, southern style biscuits; all plant based. Eating "bad" never tasted so good!

WOW! I am floored! To preface this I am a country boy with a grandmother who made THEE best food and biscuits that would warm your heart. I had the sausage biscuit and when I tell you there if I handed this to you and you ate it, you would never know that it was vegan. So much flavor in the sausage, the biscuit was super flakey and if I had time I would have gone back for another but was delivering a treat to my son. If you are on the fence about trying this place or if you had not had a biscuit sandwiches, YOU NEED TO GO!

LOVE This place. My wife and I were looking for a place to get gluten/dairy free treats and we came across sweet theory. It’s been our go to spot almost every Saturday. It’s small on the inside but the cupcakes and pastry items are well worth it. We’ve ordered our anniversary cake here and I also ordered my wife’s birthday cake here a few weeks ago. Great variety of items as the menu changes each day. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Oh my goodness!! These are the best vegan donuts I have ever had. I can't have dairy and these were so good, I had to try some of everything with a dozen to go. The French Toast Apple Fritter was perfection! Thank you for baking great vegan desserts!

We tried the cinnamon rolls (regular and blueberry), strawberry chai cupcake, chocolate chip banana cupcake, lemon loaf, and jelly donut. Everything was delicious. The jelly in the donut tasted fresh and homemade, the donut was very soft and slightly chewy, the cupcakes and loaf were very soft and moist. Everything tasted very very fresh. Cinnamon roll was very soft, chewy, and sweet :) 10/10 would recommend.

This is the best vegan bakery 🧁 hands down everything dairy-free scratch made with love and perfection! They make everything new everyday! The throwdown biscuit was so Delicious. I could eat another one so much flavor 🥰

I was so excited to get to try this place because it was recommend to me in a group I’m in and I am only in town for a couple of days. I called to do a pick up order and was told they don’t do pick up orders on Saturdays. I then explained that i am in an Uber and they only give you 5 minutes to run in and pick up your food so I asked how long it would be and she said she didn’t know it depends. I ended up going to another restaurant who was happy to do a call in order for me and I was in and out in the time frame needed.

They have some great N options to choose from and everything is always fresh

My manager purchased cupcakes from here for an office birthday party. The two lemon strawberry ones had mold on the strawberry. Made us not want to eat any of them because it made us question how old the other cupcake flavors were. My manager did not even want to bother driving back to the establishment for a refund. The cupcakes were all very small compared to some other bakeries in town. The cupcake part also appeared very dry. I guess we will never know since they ended up in the garbage.

Absolutely phenomenal bakery. The vegan and gluten-free items are exceptional, and delicious. The staff are Amazing...efficient, thorough, helpful, and kind. 10/10, cannot wait to visit again. Wow wow wow.

The cookie sandwich was awesome. It was two sugar cookies with strawberry frosting. Moist, delicate, and delicious. The donut muffin was too moist and too spiced. Both of us had a hard time finishing that one. The texture and strength of the ginger or nutmeg was not right. We will be back for the cookie sandwich or maybe one of those cinamon rolls.

Had a great time experience at Sweet Theory, had plenty of options for my daughter with food allergies, the smile on her face after finally being able to have a donut was worth every penny, Daisy was VERY knowledgeable about every item they had and we will be coming back as soon as we can; for the treats and her!!

Best vegan bakery in Jacksonville! The staff is super knowledgeable about gluten allergies too. The biscuit sandwiches cannot be missed! Get the double down on a black pepper biscuit.

We waited for over 30 min outside. Since we're not from here I was wondering if it was going to be worth it. IT WAS!!!! The donuts were amazing. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. The lemon loaf was lip smacking. But the so fugdin good cupcake? That was literally the best cupcake I've ever had (don't tell my baking husband). I'm in tears that we live hours away! If I had a cooler I would have bought a dozen to take with me! There are no pictures because only crumbs remained lol. GO HERE! You won't regret it!

First and foremost this is a vegan bakery, but dont let that scare you i had the maple bacon don't and that donit was so good the bacon was coconut flakes with some seasoning on it the chickpea Biscuit sandwich was bomb and coffee was good, they are under staffed so service reflects that. Over all come pick up the good but don't sit and hang out

Fagan friendly local cafe shop, very taste very good, they have delicious pastries and fagan sandwiches, I wish if they have a place to sit and enjoy your meal but it’s very small place, like it a lot.

Best place for a morning biscuit. Great gluten free desserts. Super coffee. It's a easy place with several choices but not to to much. Enjoy the local bakery but get there early or it may be gone. We love the loaf cakes.

THEIR CINNAMON ROLLS ARE LIFE CHANGING! So fluffy, soft, not overly sweet, but yummy cinnamon melt in your mouth goodness!! Also their 'sausage' biscuit is the business! It's hot and ready and not dry but warms your soul!

Went there today for the first time, I purchased 4 maple bacon donuts. The bacon was disgusting and burnt. How on earth do you mess up bacon? My kids hated the donuts..

Have not tried everything yet but the Homer doughnut is superb and the cinnamon roll was good!

Maple Fake Bacon donut. Very heavy no crumble "doughy" donut, was fresh and had cooled, good donut for 3.35$ no espresso even though the espresso machine was powered up and on. Was told that since pandemic no espresso. Drip coffee was in the plastic hard to clean warmers was not told how old. Not dirty but didn't look crisp and clean on the inside. I will reserve myself for a future visit if it changes or invited by someone

These are the best donuts and bakery goods in Florida. That just so happen to be vegan which is truly shocking. The staff are always welcoming and inviting. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger building. Thank you Sweet Theory for being here for a little brightness is dark Florida.

Stopped in yesterday to check things out. So glad we did. My wife raved about it the rest of the day. We finally found the bakery she’s been looking for since moving back to JAX.

This is my first time trying their baked goods, i have one more item left to try as I type this, and until a few moments ago I was seeing colors while tasting the food. I got a few of their chocolate and caramel cupcakes and I have not been drugged, I have been seduced. Granted, I have never eaten at a vegan bakery, these are my first tries, I’m also hungry, I also have been WAITING for this food- just to check some biases that may be leading to an obsessive review. But Sweet Bakery is worth it! The staff could easily be family, the bakery itself could actually be home, and the food!!! No words.

Really delicious treats even if you don’t have allergies! Only place for hundreds of miles that is gluten, nut, meat, soy, dairy free. My mom has all of these allergies and she has me bring her sweets every time I visit her. Cinnamon rolls with orange flavor are my favorite!

We always find something we love there!! It’s so nice to have a place that accommodates allergies. This strawberry cake ordered for my husbands birthday was FANTASTIC! Best allergen-friendly cake he said he’s ever had!

Was at RAM and looked up donuts nearby. No donuts and They were out of almost everything except some gluten free brownies and cookies with cream in the middle. I didn't buy anything but the person working seemed nice.

Excellent vegan treats--try the cinnamon roll--freshly made and still warm. It's a take out shop, so take your sweet treat somewhere lovely and enjoy every bite. We sure did!

If you’re a vegan or not, you will enjoy their food, my non-vegan friend enjoyed the doughnuts just as much as I did. They also have a delicious biscuit with vegan sausage and bacon.

I used to have a bad review here because of the unfriendliness of the one male there and his attitude. But things seem better and the girls are a joy, everything is delicious...prices are definitely a little high but its yummy
