I was greeted immediately upon entering for the first time. Great customer service and great food!

Do not sleep on this place. We did for over a year and missed out on some excellent food. The bread on their kolaches is soft and flavorful and that's just a precursor to the flavor bomb about to happen when you hit the filling. My favorite though is the chorizo tacos. They're even better than the "authentic" ones I used to have in SoCal. And don't forget to top it off with thay homemade hot sauce. You only need a little, but I wanted a lot more. It was a perfect balance of flavor and heat. Gotta end there because that taco is calling my name!

Wow! We called for ideas -- Something we could bring to a party at an Assisted Living. Bucky went above and beyond, providing an assortment of Kolaches (mild), cutting them in half to make them easier for the elderly residents to pick up and eat. He had nearly forty packed in a pickup container in minutes. Big hot with the residents.

Kindest customer service ever. Delicious food, loved the dough for all of the yummy food we got. Would highly recommend!!

we go grab breakfast here from time to time on the weekend. Kolaches are good. The breakfast tacos are delicious. They had an omelet on the menu today, and it was great. Very friendly service. They have a lot of different options. Worth checking out.

This was my first time in this facility. The chef was friendly and the staff was very accommodating. I ordered the potato and egg tacos. Hats off to the chef. I will be there again.

I've always thought the food was good but not impressed with service. I just started picking up breakfast again after I stopped about 2 years ago. But This Is It! I stopped by a week ago for 1 $3.75 breakfast taco. The drive thru lady said like $4.10. Usually I stick my CC in reader and sign. This time she took my card and offered no receipt. I asked for my receipt and I was charged .75 for extra sauce I didn't ask for. While I was waiting I accessed my account because I felt something wasn't right. My card was pending $5.70, receipt showed $4.95 and was told $4.10 at window. The guy guaranteed my final charge had been corrected. I was charged $5.70. Someone is STEALING! Gratuity was added too. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS, I'M SURE I'M NOT THE 1ST. I just pay attention regardless how big or small due to experience. ASK FOR RECEIPTS!!

kolaches are good but the service is soooooo slow it’s unreal. do not come here if you want to grab a quick bite, it won’t be quick.

I love kolache Kitchen on Airline hwy! it's a family home feeling, all of the staff are so friendly and take time to remember you, I dont know how they do it. The food is delicious! I love everything I've tried, but the chicken tacos are my favorite! I would highly recommend the kolache kitchen on airline hwy to anyone.

We were really excited to try The Kolache Kitchen for the first time, we walked in and the workers were in the back talking but never looked up, though there was one cook that was standing directly in front of us but didn’t say anything. We stood at the register awaiting for someone to acknowledge us, one indeed starred at us for about 10 seconds as if we were inconveniencing her and still never said anything, so we decided to leave. I am highly disappointed in the lack of service, a simple “someone will be with you in a minute” or “hi welcome in” would’ve been better than cold stares and awkward silence.

Me and my wife we EXTREMELY excited about the Kolache Kitchen, the weekend our anniversary. We entered the building and I’m not sure if it was because of the color of our skin because they aren’t closed the time is 12:06 but all 6 employees looked at the both of us as if we were from another planet and spoke a foreign language. We stood there for 45 seconds. No greeting, no service just blank stares. IF I COULD GIVE THIS EXPERIENCE ZERO STARS I would, 1 star is God’s grace. If you have biases, don’t work at a restaurant that people have money to spend. 0/10 experience will never try again.

I Love the Airline location they are the best. I go there at least 4 or 5 times a week and the food Is incredibly yummy and the atmosphere is just fun. If I want something specific on their menu I can always ensure getting what I want by calling 2 or 3 hours in advance. Try the boudin kolache soooo goooood

Fantastic concept with seemingly unlimited options from snack size items to options that will feed any size party. Their service is genuine and they really do care about giving us the best experience. Their food is baked fresh every day and tacos and sandwiches are made to order. Koloche Kitchen is awesome and I look forward to going back time and time again!. Btw Anthony’s tacos are the best always have a smiling face after !

I moved into the area a few months ago and pass by the Kolache Kitchen all the time. It's a pretty unassuming place at a glance but read good reviews so I decided to check it out. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff. One gentleman behind the counter named Darrell was very welcoming. He not only answered my questions about the menu but even took me behind the counter to show me some of their items on the rack that were freshly baked. I ordered the boudin kolache and the smoked sausage kolache, and Darrell threw in a free bacon and cheese kolache for me to try! All three were excellent, especially the bacon and cheese he recommended. The bread has an almost "Hawaiian sweet roll" flavor to me, so you get this great mix of sweet, savory, cheesy flavors. Pro tip: a dash of hot sauce takes it to the next level. They have drive through but the inside dining area was cozy and very clean. 10/10 will definitely be back!

I decided to have a cheat day and ventured in to The Kolache Kitchen. It was AMAZING!! First and foremost, Big D at the front of the house was extremely kind, engaging, and hospitable! His energy made the establishment so inviting! In addition to that, he answered all of my questions and made recommendations. My favorite item purchased was definitely the breakfast taco! The egg and potato taco was unbelievably delicious! And I didn’t even mention the salsa! It is literally the best salsa I have ever had. I also tried the frozen coffee. Really good! It tastes like coffee and not milk with some coffee in it. I loved it! I will definitely return! Big win all the way around! 🏆🙌🏾

My family came in for the first time this morning and was incredibly impressed! The service is phenomenal! They absolutely make you feel right at home. The kolaches are delicious and so fresh. Highly recommend!

I’d like to start off this review by saying I’ve never left a review in my life. Meaning that the employees’ (working on January 26, 2024 at 9:30am Airline location) kindness and superior service was so excellent that I was compelled to leave a review! Also important to note- I went through the DRIVE-THRU, where the experience of sparking joy is hard to come by. In my opinion- that makes the food even more delicious than it already is! Definitely worth treating yourself and supporting a local business! I was already a fan but am now a loyal customer!

Finally tried Kolache Kitchen for the first time today, and was very pleasantly welcomed with the nicest employee! Talk about service with a smile! :) not to mention the steak tacos i got were amazing! I'll definitely be back to try something else soon.

I loved this place! I visited on a trip through the area and wanted to find a quick spot for lunch off of the highway. The staff were so kind and patient as we tried to decide what to order. I’d never had some of their menu items before, so it was a tough decision because everything sounded so good! The sandwiches we got (Cuban and turkey) were great and more than enough to tide you over and then some. I took half of mine home and had lunch the next day. As for the kolaches, the staff was kind enough to let us try one for the road. It was SO good! Next time I’m in the area I will definitely stop by again.

Omg! I love this place. I researched the best cinnamon rolls in town and there restaurant was on the top of the list, plus it was only 8 minutes away. Today was my first time here and when I arrived I was the only person there. I was instantly greeted with a warm smile and great hospitality. I ordered my cinnamon (so moist and soft 😋) and the owner informed that he would get me a fresh one since he had just finished baking them. I also tried there bacon and egg taco, smoked sausage kolache, boudin kolache and a strawberry cream cheese pastry. I freakin loved 😍 everything. I will definitely be back. Overall, everything was delicious, they had great hospitality and good vibes. 👍🏽

I tried the kolache kitchen out for the first time yesterday. I went through the drive thru lane. The man that took my order made me feel very welcomed and put a smile on my face. I also spoke to another employee who seemed just as genuinely nice. The customer service that I received will definitely make me a repeat customer if I'm looking for a quick and portable breakfast for my family.

Some of the better kolaches we’ve found outside of Texas. The chorizo taco reminded me of my old taco stand in south Texas - would love a better tortilla but that’s being picky. Quality food, really kind employees. Don’t pass them by!

Food was alright, they definitely use cheap brands to help keep the prices down, which I can understand even if I find it disappointing. If you're looking for kolaches that are a bit more gourmet, well, the search continues. Not a bad option for food if you live near one of the locations, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Service is great and friendly, ample parking and there is a drive thru option. The food is delicious, AND it's made fresh in house. The chicken and brisket empanadas are a good portion and tasty. I met Ryan the owner, he was covered in dough and flour, a great sign for any bakery. Great guy! He recommends ordering ahead, 1 hour in advance, as people tend to buy out items from the menu. I highly recommend visiting and trying multiple items from the menu, you won't be disappointed.

My daughter and I frequent this place for breakfast before school, and we absolutely love it! Kolache's staff is amazing! You are greeted by name, and most times, your voice is recognized at the drive up, so they already know your order before placing it (how awesome is that)! Two of my personal favorites from the breakfast menu are: 1. Classic sausage and cheese kolache, and 2. Patton and cheese kolache. *I'm a little biased about this one because I am from New Orleans, and I've been raised up eating this particular sausage.* If you happen to be in the area, please take a moment to check them out!

I’ve been coming here for the better part of 2 years now typically once or twice a week and it never gets old. The staff is like family to me, one of the nicest crew of employees I have ever encountered at any business. I felt so welcomed since the first day I stepped foot in there. You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu however 3 items I highly recommend are the bacon & cheese kolache’s, sausage egg & cheese taco’s, and the Cuban Sandwich. I seriously recommend this place to everyone, you will not be disappointed. 10/10

This place is my favorite morning stop!! The frozen Vietnamese coffee is the best frozen coffee in town! Also, the tacos, kolaches and cinnamon rolls are AMAZING! The staff there is so friendly everytime I go!

Kolache Kitchen is an absolute must visit for an amazing quick breakfast. The owner and staff are always so incredibly nice and provide the best service around. You absolutely have to try the pattons kolache. It’s got the perfect amount of spice and will have you coming back for more. Plus their frozen coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. We are honestly here once or twice a week it’s so good!

Stopped in to get two breakfast tacos this morning. Try the eggs, with potato taco and egg with bacon.

1st time stop after church looking for a late breakfast. We ordered a brisket taco and a breakfast taco. Both were amazing, great flavor and the staff were super nice. Since it was our first time she even gave us a Kolache to try . We will definitely be back.

Honestly this place is gold. The owner seems to really care about the business and the food is great. This is one of those places you forget exists but once you go end up becoming a regular. We tried a little bit of a few things and all of them were amazing. Salsa is very good. I would say give it a try but be patient they have a lot of people coming in for the good food but it’s well worth the wait. Awesome place! Tacos are by far worth the price. I’d rather spend money here than going to some fast food place.

I always pick up large orders to feed the staff at my gym. They have never messed up an order, they are always extremely polite, and everything is always done in a timely manner and it’s fresh and hot. Can’t beat it! Best breakfast tacos around.

I live near the Jefferson location and by 10:30 am they are out of everything! I love driving the extra 10 min to Airline. Bucky and his wife working with their team are so friendly. It’s night and day from the other location! I walked in and I’m greeted right away by everyone. They have the entire menu available. I was getting it to go order, but I witnessed a couple that was selecting a table, and one of the workers letting them know that she was going to clean the table that they wanted to sit at. I was able to talk directly to Becky today. He wasn’t too busy running around working. And I told him that he ran a great store and he immediately turned it around and said that it was all his teams doing. Another thing that I hadn’t really realized before, but was pointed out to me while I was in the store. Today was the fact that everything on the menu is relatively cheap. Some of the kolache’s are what you would pay for a gas station breakfast sandwich. I CAN NOT recommend this place & THIS LOCATION enough!!!!

We have eaten here multiple times and always enjoy the food. After a recent online order through an unnamed food delivery service we received one small item in the order that was below quality. After fruitless attempts to get any help through the food delivery service we instead called the location directly and were helped by Ryan. He was incredibly polite and helpful and talk to us about the issue to a successful conclusion. This is literally the only negative experience we've had with this place and it was such a minor thing and they were so quick to help and make it right that I can't help but leave as glowing of a review as is possible. Go to this location eat their delicious food and enjoy their wonderful customer service.

The kolaches are 90% dough and they are small, seen like that are frozen bulk. And the Boudin Balls are the sage as the kolache..weird..the picture I posted is Boudin on the left and Kolache on the right

I went here to pick up an order for someone and the employee Big Dee greeted me with a big smile as soon as I walked through the door. He made me feel so welcomed. After I told him the name of the person that I was picking up the order for, he let me know the ETA and asked me if I would like a beverage while I wait. After I got my drink, he asked me if I had ever had one of their kolaches before and I told him that I hadn’t..so he asked if I would like to try one..now usually I’m skeptical about trying new things but he was so nice that I gave it a try. He gave me one of the Turkey, chipotle, garlic & Swiss kolaches and when I tell you it was so freaking scrumptious. It melted right in my mouth!!! After that I got the classic sausage plus cheese, ham plus cheese and bacon plus cheese kolacheeeee! Was definitely worth it! I definitely will be going back to this place! The workers there are so friendly & the food is great!! I highly recommend any and everyone to try this place!! I haven’t tried all of the locations yet, just the Airline location in Baton Rouge! They rock “)

The workers here are amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers. The food is excellent. I also love the different options because I'm normally not a big kolache person so the fact that I can get a taco and my husband can get a kolache is a win-win for me!

Went through drive through for a quick breakfast and we are so glad we stopped here! Perfect breakfast kolaches. We tried the boudin, sausage and cheese, and mushroom and red pepper kolaches and they were all good! No wait in drive through for Friday morning was an added plus!
