Love this place and the vegan icecream options. They really just need to stick to having adults serve the ice cream. The two little boys in there panic when it’s gets crowded and if they can’t a good scoop of ice cream they don’t try to get a better one. Why am I paying $11 for icecream and im barely getting a scoop icecream for the price.

This place is amazing! Great homemade ice cream and wonderful service by the young man at the counter. Between the three of us that came we got to try a variety of flavors and they were all awesome. The cafe con leche and Euro trash were sooo good, and the sundaes are well worth the money. If we're ever back here in Tampa I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm not vegan but my most favorite flavors are toasted coconut and vegan coconut coffee

I had a delicious coffee milkshake, and the husband got a sundae that I had a bite of. It was amazing! No complaintsabout the place.

I love both locations but Florida Ave is my favorite. The Nutty Pineapple is the best sundae ever and the homemade pineapple jam is amazing. A customer for life 😁

Small little cozy place. It was really clean and the service was awesome. Both of the servers in the front were super friendly, smiling at everybody who walked in the ice cream was awesome. I had it started here. I believe it had cheese habanero, and raspberry swirl some of the best ice cream I’ve had in a while Would absolutely recommend.

Every time we come to Tampa, we eagerly anticipate going to Revolutions. This time, we were great disappointed. Most of the options were removed from the menu. We were told that the ice cream was made in Brandon brought to that location. Not sure why it was done. I will say that what we were able to order was good. The ice cream was rich and cream.

Delicious "Euro Trash" ice cream, friendly service.

This is a super fun ice cream shop with loads of flavor variety! We opted for their gelato which was delicious! The owner was very friendly and sweet and the shop itself was decorated so cutely (shoutout to the paint swatch counter)! We will be back to try more!!

Coconut ice cream that reminds me of my travels to SE Asia. It was pouring down rain, traffic was terrible, needed something to turn my day around. Stopped off at Revolution and ordered 2 scoops of their coconut ice cream. This is the real deal. Made with coconut milk, not too sweet and oh so fresh. Great service

As a business owner I have to share my opinion and I came while I was craving ice cream so bad. As I approached the counter I started looking at the atmosphere, the floor, the counter and it look disgustingly dirty. As I approach the cashier she was serving ice cream and her hand look dirty too hair all over I’m so sorry she looked like she just woke up Me and my family had to go Please do yourself a favor and clean this place You are in a great location Surrounded by beautiful people I eat with my eye and will not recommend this place to anyone Hopefully they clean it

Just moved to the Seminole Heights area and we were on the hunt for ice-cream. We came across Revolution and man, it was spot on. The flavors are wild and the ice-cream is delicious. Highly recommended.

The ice cream here is truly unparalleled, and simply mouth-watering each scoop worth every penny spent. The flavors are inventive and satisfying, making it undoubtedly the best in Tampa.

I was very exciting to try this ice creams place, we arrived this Sunday 25 between 7pm to 7:30 ,, and they didn't even say hello, we asked for our ice cream and nothing to offer us topping,,, when we left the girl was sitting on a sofa with her feet up looking at her cell phone all the time,,, and she didn't even say good night The ice cream was good . We don’t come back anymore . Very disappointed

Very unprofessional staff. You have staff laughing at customers and being rude. They put literally a crumb as a topping and wouldn’t give a scoop. Been here tons of time this is the worse experience with the worse staff. It was a male and female working on 2/3 at 9:50 PM. They should be fired or reprimanded for the actions. I don’t get how you think it’s okay to be rude and laugh at people or maybe you have staff high on drugs. Thanks for the worse service of this year so far. Congratulations.

This is probably some of the best Ice Cream I've ever had I'm a little late to this, but looking back on it, I have to write about it. I visited The Revolution back on November 12th 2023. I flew down from Canada to Florida to see my girlfriend, and we stopped here with a mutual friend near the end of the day The atmosphere was really unique. It says a lot about an ice cream place when you walk in you see just a bunch of unique and creatively named ice cream flavors. The lady behind the counter was super nice, explaining some of the menu to us and offering samples if we wanted The lobby was very cozy. It's like a big art mishmash is the best was I can describe it. It was really cool. Lots of different types of chairs, artwork, couples could take advantage of the booth style seating and even some bar style seating. When sitting by the bar, it gives you a great opportunity to get a look behind the counter and watch them work if that's something you're interested in I picked out Chocolate Shock off of the menu, and it was absolutely incredible. That kind of ice cream you really look for and crave on a hot day. Just melt in your mouth goodness. The two scoops I received were filling and the taste was great A must go if you are a big fan of ice cream like myself. I could not compare The Revolution to any other ice cream I've had before. If you live in Tampa or plan on visiting, try to stop here

This place is not your typical ice cream joint! It's ice cream and more. The vibe is unique and the space is carefully curated for a good time. Right when we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. The gentleman serving us was kind and informative. He explained the menu and offered us samples and his intake on each flavor based off what we were looking for. He was extremely patient with my family and I even though we were slow and indecisive. The space was very clean and tidy. Plenty of seating options. The bathroom was very well put together and clean as well. There were so many unique flavors and many options to choose from. I could go on and on, but I won't. JUST GO! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!! Stop at wicked oak for lunch first, across the street, and come here after for a sweet treat. I didn't get a picture of our ice cream. Sorry, it was too good!

Love Revolution, just wish that either their price point was slightly lower or their portions were larger. The specialty sundaes were delicious but disappointing in size compared to what I paid. I love their unique selection of rotating flavors as well as their vegan options. It makes it a top recommendation of mine to family and friends.

Love this ice cream shop for taking the kids after school or any desserts. It’s awesome.

So so experience...could have been better

When I lived in Valrico, FL, I visited the Brandon location often. I love the ice cream and the artsy atmosphere. I was excited to visit this location in Seminole Heights. My husband and I got an expresso bomb, two scoops of ice cream with expresso topping. Our two dogs each got a scoop of vanilla bacon in a cup. My husband's ice cream came out way before mine. He said his was very good. Mine was a very runny, more liquid rather than ice cream. I wasn't even sure they put both scoops of ice cream in it, so I was disappointed. But, I should have said something, and I didn't, so I give it 4 stars for this visit. My dogs loved the vanilla bacon ice cream.

The Best vegan toasted coconut ice cream! Wow. Gets me every time. It’s light, almost like a sherbet or sorbet with great flavor and the perfect amount of toasted coconut. The flavors pair incredibly well with a waffle cone 🤤👏🏾🙏🏾

Flavors were awesome! We ended up with about 5 different ones. The pancake was delicious. Probably wouldn't have been that brave but Tyler (my dude with the best customer service ever) encouraged me to give it a try. *chef's kiss* it was 5 stars. Hubby went with the coffee bomb mixing 2 flavors Tyler recommended. It was also outstanding! Love supporting places with good products and good people. We will be back soon!

We LOVE coming to Revolution. We’ve been coming here for 5 years. Tyler is the best!! He genuinely enjoys what he does and where he works. He takes his time with his customers so they enjoy their selection. If you’re unsure, he’ll find the flavor for you. The One That Started It All, Banana Pudding, and Porky’s delight all slap.

So lets talk about the good. The ice-cream is very good its just perfectly made. Sarah was very nice and knowledgeable about her craft. She was very helpful and professional. The bad the poor thing was left alone making the wait time a bit, but she did everything possible to accommodate for this with her great service. The bad the place looked uninviting the grey walls. The decor is just bland and dingy. Other than that the because of the ice-cream and Sarah i will be back.

Leslie’s hospitality alone is what will have me back and the ice cream is the cherry on top! Wide variety of delicious and funky flavors you can’t find anywhere else. Try the blueberry muffin!

Great independent ice cream shop. Place is cool looking with a unique, almost "underground" type vibe. Has a number of great flavors, some a bit edgy (i.e. chocolate habenaro). Had the Cookie Monster sundae and look forward to my next trip back. Staff was very friendly and happy to let you sample a flavor.

They where out of some flavors when we came but the ones they did have didn’t disappoint! The flavors are unlike the local ice cream places around and you have to try them. Also you have the try the waffle bowl it’s literally melt in your mouth good and unlike any other waffle bowl you’ve had. Such a unique place worth stopping by and grabbing some ice cream.

I purchased a fudge brownie sundae,it was good. For the price I was expecting a bit more...One young lady there,she was nice,accommodating and a good listener. It was a nice experience, recommend.

They have vegan ice cream flavors!

I wanted to love this place because the reviews seemed mostly positive but 1.) smallest 1 scoop of ice cream I’ve ever had (esp for price), 2.) Flavor was nothing special and somewhat bland, and 3.) Menu board while fun was sooo hard to read. I left thinking I needed to buy glasses. There are so many better places.

Here's the thing with Rwvolutions's ice cream...ITS BETTER THAN BO'S!! For me, ice cream is all about texture. Creaminess. Taste. Revolutions has it all. The ice cream has a firm texture, unlike soft serve options. And the creations they've concocted are a masterpiece. In my opinion, the banana pudding ice cream wins the blue ribbon. Try it.

That was literally the smallest “scoop” of ice cream I’ve ever gotten at an ice cream shop. Great flavors, but you sure don’t get what you pay for.

A telltale sign of a good ice cream shop is the smell of freshly made waffle cones the second you walk in. Another is quirky custom made flavors with fun names. This ice cream shop has the same flavor and fun aspect of local cafes and burger joints, but applied to ice cream, something that rarely deviates from the same 10 or so flavors. I had a waffle cone with the seaward flavor (cardamom, cinnamon, coffee, and caramel), my friends got a milkshake and the breakfast sundae and we all enjoyed it. I loved the concert magazine ads all over the bathroom walls and the one way mirrors in the door. Next time I'm in the area later this year for zootampa I'll surely try more flavors. The blueberry looked really good.
