The best cocktails in the West End!

The best cocktail in town. Drinks are very creative and well put together.

I’ve been to this location twice, each time was an experience. I would say the interior is very small, like a shotgun house. Ifykyk. The level of creativity and quality of those drinks…LORDYY LORDYYY!!! What an experience! Behind the bar, you will find some of the best artists and crafters. I mean the “Violet Im Turning Violet” is one of the best drinks I have ever had. Truly for tequila and Prosecco lovers! It’s a nice and quiet location for a cute, intimate link up.

Very enjoyable "speakeasy" feel. Cocktail was memorably original and delicious (I think I ordered the Hulk Smash that time). Decor is on point. It can be hard to find the front door. Go to the corner of the building near the crepe restaurant.

I was just at the Verdant Lady with a friend, and really enjoyed it. The bar is pretty small so seats might be hard to come by at busier times. The atmosphere is pretty friendly and relaxed. Service was great and the drinks were really good and creative. I particularly enjoyed the Big Papi. I will definitely come back to try more of the menu.

This place has a great atmosphere. Really cute little bar for that location in the little shopping mall. It's really cozy and inviting and is just cool. Bartender was great, and cute.

Hard to find, but it's adjacent to the crepe place and you can order crepes until 9p. Unique and well-balanced. Chill atmosphere. Woman-owned.

The look of the place itself is the best part, there's no sign or markings for the bar. The service was awful though, sat there for awhile (10 min) before even being approached and asked about drinks when I was one of the people out of 5. Waitress wasn't friendly at all and for the cost of drinks and not to mention very over priced food, wouldn't consider coming here again. It's a nice once and done with experience but otherwise could've lived without it.

Honest I don't know what to say about this place, may be say it is cozy and very intimate. Smallest place i have ever been too but cute

I would say having been to quite a few cocktail bars in my life around the world, I would rate the drink quality as the best I have had. A bold statement I know, but the drinks were truly amazing. Not over powerful, the ingredients were balanced and there wasn't any over powering flavours that I find ruin a good cocktail. I had 3 drinks and all of them were fantastic. I would of had 2 drinks but the first 2 were so good I had to see they could be topped. Highly recommend a visit. Keep up the good work!

We did not have any food, but the cocktails were amazing! We went out with some friends for dinner. Afterwards, they suggested this place for cocktails. W E had never been. The vibe was chill, with soft funk music playing in the back ground. The cool, dark colors and soft lighting set the tone. Great scratch bartenders that make excellent cocktails. we ordered from the specialty menus. I highly recommend ordering from them. I hate comparing places, but so that you can get a sense of the place, this is like the quieter version of jaspers. by that I mean you can actually hear the conversation and don’t have to speak so hard. Parking was easier. It’s neither better nor worse. The vibe is just different. However, just as good. We were a group of seven. This a small place and the bar was full and we were standing up still able to all have a conversation. I also saw a group of 5 sitting and having a good time. The rest of the crowd were couples. The only negative was that if you don’t know it’s there, you wouldn’t know this cool place exists. I almost passed the place but saw my friend in front.

The Verdant Lady. My wife and I dropped in just for cocktails, however, you can order some small plates from the restaurant next door. It is small, maybe sits around 25 folks. The bartender was great, very friendly, good service. My only concern is they keep the temperature pretty cool in there. If you are looking to store a side of beef, this could be your spot!

Wish I could rank the food but didn't have any. However this is an experience, very swaggy, very chill. Got a date you wanna impress? Order them a glass of wine, and ask them about their day. Trust me, it'll earn you points. ❤️ The ambiance is such on a weekday that it's also a great place to unwind with a hint of fancy. There aren't many seats, so I wouldn't suggest it on a Friday or a Saturday night... I'm betting it's a standing event.

I had the best first date at the Verdant Lady! The atmosphere was amazing, the drinks are refreshing and fairly priced, but most of all the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend checking this place out

Came because the signature drink is a riff on my favorite, the last word. It sure is a last word but minty and less herbal! Great bar

It's a nice little cozy place with great cocktails on the menu. The bartender made me off the menu cocktail with absinthe which was pretty decent. Mostly seating is at bar. We did not try any food but it was mentioned that food comes from neighbouring restaurant. It's a nice place to enjoy couple of drinks seating at the bar

I know this is a one to five rating system, but The Verdant Lady was a 10/10. Everything from the amazing cocktails to the ambiance to the service. I loved every single thing about this place. They have an elaborate cocktail menu, but you can order off menu or even let them know what type of flavor profile you’re looking for and they’ll grant your wish. All drinks are super reasonably priced, especially for the quality. I can’t wait to come back. My favorite was the Lloyd Hansen, but I also had a French 75 and a Top Gun and they were spot on. Trust these bartenders. They know what they’re doing. Also, check out the bathroom. It’s cool.

Cozy. Funky. Upbeat. Walking in is like jumping down the rabbit hole to a bar where Alice slings cocktails and the March Hare and Mad Hatter discuss the finer points of a negroni. The inside is beautiful, the service is good, and the girls behind the bar are always working on something new. Don't sleep on the kitchen, the food is great too. One of the very best cocktail bars in Richmond.

Solid cocktails and great service, even when it was really busy. Just one star off because it drives me crazy when restaurants and bars don’t put prices on the menu. If I have to pay for it, why is it a secret?? It just feels shady, even though the prices ended up being average for a cocktail bar (~$13 drinks).

A best crepes in town and cocktails. A must visit and recommended 4.8/5.0

Wonderful ambiance! Always welcoming but laid back. Have tried her summer and fall menus and everything is delicious. Very much looking forward to trying her winter menu in a few weeks!

Visited lastnight with my friends and I absolutely fell in love with the ambiance. I was honestly blown away by the inside and how it was designed. We ordered drinks which were the best!!! I have never had cocktails so beautifully made before and have it taste so well. The music was on point. At one point a song from Shaggy came on and being from the Caribbean it just hit home. This place will definitely be my go to. I recently moved here and was looking for a cute spot like this to come for a relaxing evening. I’m so happy it’s not too big, it’s just perfect!

I was so super pumped to go here. My friend that I went with had been there the weekend previously and LOVED IT! Last night was not the night! The vibe of the bartender was not welcoming at all. She seemed to know everyone there and we walked in and it was that feeling of the moment everything goes quiet and you happen to say the most absurd thing out loud and then you’re hella uncomfortable. We were only able to get one drink because when we went to order our 2nd drink she told us should not could take our orders it was going to take a while because of other drinks she had to make…so we sat an hour with an empty glass while she made OTHER drinks before we were able to get a check to leave! Again I was so excited to check this out, and the one drink I had was good but I didn’t like the feeling of being “ in the way!” I might try it again not sure, because me and my friend were super bummed when we left!

Creative drinks. Fun little speak easy. Will go back. Though, they could work on the aroma here. Not sure if it Comes from the kitchen next door or something else. Was not a favorable smell. Otherwise a sweet little spot.

Stumbled upon this place while we were searching for a cocktail bar in Richmond! Had an amazing time ... Came in for a drink ended up trying half the menu! Will definitely visit the verdant lady everytime I am in Richmond!

My new favorite crafted cocktail lounge!! Small, intimate, minimalisticly chic, with cocktails mixed to perfection.

Drinks were great, bartender was super friendly and knew her stuff! The actual bar itself is very nice and clean. It's a hole in the wall type location, but once you find it you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to come back with more friends!
