Amazing how this course has been brought back to life. Looking good and can't wait to see how it continues to evolve.

Looks to be a nice golf course and clubhouse. Restaurant is lovely, and facilities also. Nice evening. Great views over the course.

Great food, great service, Angel is an awesome server. Nice game room with newest machines that hit. Todd is wonderful host, super knowledgeable. Driving range is new and at a great price, new balls. A must.

Stop at the bar..get some tokens...go outside to the machine..get your balls and fire away!!!! Very nice mats and plenty of targets..bar staff is always great and the gm is happy to talk golf!! Can't wait for the course to reopen

Absolutely AWESOME!! Wonderful food, service, atmosphere. Set on deck and enjoyed the view. Beautiful event room. Will head there for our 58th anniversary dinner

Good food at a reasonable rate. Manager came out to talk to us. She's a nice person. Try the spicy chicken on watermelon. The chef salad and club sandwich were huge. Took 1/2 home for later. We sat on porch for Birthday celebration.

I am head over heels happy to see this place reopened. Grew up going here as a kid and lived on the golf course. Food was delightful and prices reasonable. Very glad this did not turn out like many of the forgotten places I’ve explored. Cannot wait to see what the new owners have in store for the rest of the course

I'm glad to have someplace nice and close that isn't just another Applebee's. The inside is very nice without being over the top. The staff were all excellent. Management actively sought out feedback. The food was good and the prices were not bad for what you get. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow into the area.

I was hoping it would be better 😔. My wife and I both ordered salads. I had a chef's salad that had very little meat. In fact, there were maybe 2 thin slices of deli meat which you couldn't see once if was mixed up. Some of the lettuce was brown and the tomatoes were over ripe. My wife had a Ceasar salad with chicken. The dressing had a huge amount of garlic. Caesar dressing does have garlic but this was ridiculous. We both were nauseous later on that evening. Also the bartender on duty seemed a little overwhelmed. He was a little rude when I asked for another drink. In fact another patron reminded him that we needed another drink after 15 minutes!!..Won't be back..

Had a WONDERFUL meal...the chef Josh came out and personally greeted us. I was blown away by the flavors and ambiance and the service provided by Catherine was top notch. Exceeded my expectations

Small portions and our meals were cold. Sent them back 2 times still cold. My wife sent hers back a third time and it was warm.

Man, the NY Strip was AWESOME!!! The same for the Honey Chicken Bites. Great Service, and the view was absolutely spectacular last evening. The Rum Old Fashion was delicious. It's an absolute gem, just a couple miles from home. LOVE IT!!!

Omg ! What an outstanding place to eat.. The ombience is stunning. As you walk into the dining room you can't take your eyes off of the dandelion shaped lighting fixtures, the old fire place, the nicely understated live greenery. We arrived early and sat on the outer portion of the dining room with a view of the golf course. Georgeous!!! I can't speak any higher about the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The serving staff all are seasoned and know what they are doing. Everything is cooked from scratch. We started the meal with two appetizers. The Nashville chicken bites are to die for. Watermelon, a tasty spiced chicken topped by a real honey comb bite. The honey glazed chicken wings are equally as tasty and huge. You can't beat the price on them either. Most places give you 8 tiny wings. These wings can swallow those baby wings. For our entrees I had the chicken and buttermilk waffles over the sweetest, smoothest, sweet maple potato mash. The waffles, the sauce, the generous portion of candied peacans and the chicken all delicious. My wife had the short ribs. She loved them. She used a butter knife but she really didnt need it. She could have used her fork!!!! Our server brought a steak knife a bit later as she had forgotten it. When she walked away we smiled at each other. The squash mash was excellent, had fantastic flavor and the asparagas were cooked to perfection. We had to try the desserts and got two. Im originally from N.Y. and i have never tasted a better cheese cake with a nice topping of blueberry sauce. My wife had a chocolate cake with peanut butter. OMG. It was so good and the portion size was immense. I cant say enough about this place. I believe they are still in their soft opening phase and should be opening around June 6th. I recommend you try the Sycamore Restaurant at the Vanmetre 9 golf course real soon because this place is going to be extremely popular. You will not believe the quality. Bravo to chef Josh, his staff, the waitstaff and everyone who had a hand in transforming a broken down wreck of a building to a beautiful and elegant restored masterpiece. Jesse K June 1, 2023

What a nice place! Have been waiting for a place to eat in Martinsburg with some real CLASS. This place has been recently fully renovated and is BEAUTIFUL. I went there to eat friday and saturday night for a soft opening and the food was AMAZING. i had the 12 oz ribeye with grilled asparagus and garlic mash. My wife had the NY strip with glazed carrots and garlic mash. both meals were GREAT. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. They even had some appetizers that you are not going to get anywhere else. We had one called nashville chicken bites with macerated watermelon that was different, but wonderful. The wine selection is TOP NOTCH Overall just awesome experience dining here at the Sycamore. Best of all, at the end of our dinner, we caught a gorgeous sunset on the back deck. check out my pictures. This place is a welcome addition to the area. what are you waiting for? go try it!
