The chicken tuscana was insanely good there are no better pastas in all of crestview my wife got the fettuccine Alfredo and devoured the plate, service was excellent my drink never reach below half a glass and it was being refilled you can’t beat that with a stick. Definitely coming back

It is worth every penny everything tastes fresh and like it just came out of the garden the salad was the perfect size the steak was just right my gf has a dairy allergy and they changed the sauce on one of there dishes for her and the desert made us melt with happiness and lots of verity thank you for the wonderful experience

The only downside was it took a while to get our food but they were relatively busy. It came out hot and delicious and the waiter was attentive

This one of our favorite places to go. The food and service is phenomenal. Such a great place in a small town. Perfect for a date night. The owners make you feel like family.

Best burger in town, I really miss the duck for dinner.

My wife and I went for our anniversary. We both had the ribeye. I had vanilla bean cheesecake, and she had creme Brielle. We had spicy meatballs for an appetizer. Everything was excellent, especially the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly to order. Definitely recommend!!!

This was delicious! Driving bye you wouldn't even know this is a restaurant as they have no real advertisement outside " I would advise adding some advertising outside to catch people's attention". This is 1 of the best shrimp and grits i have ever had. And the other 2 people thoroughly enjoyed their food also. It was not cheap, but the food I had was well worth it. It is not a fancy atmosphere, but it is clean and comfortable and the food is really good. I have not had Brussel sprouts in decades and did not like them when i did, i tried theirs, and it was really good. I would definitely recommend trying here.

Delicious, fresh meal! Loved the potato soup. My husband enjoyed his pasta. Highly recommend this place. Glad we stopped by on our way West.

My friend and I stopped by here for lunch before we continued to Baker to pick blueberries. We scoped out their menu before getting there and everything sounded delightful! When we arrived there was ample parking even though they seemed pretty busy. Mandy was our server and she was great! We both ordered the ribeye sandwich and I had their sweet potato fries as my side. It was phenomenal! We'll definitely have to come back for dinner sometime! I don't go to Crestview often, but this is an awesome little restaurant that is truly a hidden gem! Highly recommend!

This used to be my go-to place in Crestview, after last nights meal I don't think I'll be back. Quality and selection are waning, apparently they are trying to save a few dollars and it shows.

The Ribeye was wonderfully cooked, and the service was amazing. I took my family there, and they loved it.

They need to do a better job of updating their hours. They open and close at different times than what is listed. No big deal if you live in crestview, but I’ll never drive up there for lunch again. Wasted an hour today.

As a certified tea sommelier, I prefer to taste subtlety that brings out a symphony of textures and flavors and I prefer to sample new tea blends with my meals. The beet salad was good, but the Creme Brulee (my favorite dessert) was perfect and the Emperor's Chai was a glorious ginger twist on the typical chai. A teapot came out to each person at the table who ordered hot tea. Typically with chai tea, the leaf-size is small so the spices can be interspersed for the overall flavor. Lifting the lid, the first thing to stand out to me was that this tea leaf was uniformly ground with the level of attention to detail usually reserved for matcha. This designates a higher quality than many store-bought loose leaf chai. Enjoy!

The restaurant says open but you get there and they tell you it’s close. Should probably change the time instead of wasting peoples time.

I have been going to The Wild Olive since I moved here in 2010. By far the best food, nicest people and beautiful restaurant. They’re open for lunch and dinner. My favorite place!

Popular restaurant with both American and Italian offerings. Lunch is great, especially the burgers. Sometimes there are specials and they havebalways been wonderful. Kristen, our server, is super friendly and attentive. Weekend evenings are busy so call ahead. The lunch hour has much more seating available. Despite the restaurant preparing to close, my friend and I were allowed to continue our conversation until we were ready to leave. Good food, good service...I'll be back!

Wild Olive is truly a gem! Best Filet Mignon I have ever had, plus the mashed potatoes and wilted Spinach was delicious. Had the Berry Salad and it was wonderful. Our server was very pleasant, beautiful smile and attentive to what we wanted. She would be a great asset to any company.

Don't have a problem with the food, however I do have a problem with them not answering the phone! 8 calls and no one answers!

After reading all the great reviews I decided to try it out. The food was not good. It tasted like the only seasoning they had was salt so they completely smothered every item on the menu with it. I have never had such terrible food. Cost WAY TOO much for the quality of food, I DO NOT recommend eating at this establishment.

Finally stopped into eat here and I was very satisfied! Everyone was nice and welcoming and the food was so good. The fried pickles were good and not greasy at all. The Buffalo Chicken on my sandwich was smaller than the pictures I saw; however, it was still good. The Pasta Tuscana was so flavorful I loved it! And dessert was lemon blueberry cheesecake, which was so refreshing and not too heavy or too sweet. I can't wait to go back!!!

Saw the high rating and thought I’d give it a try. Decided to go with the shrimp and grits lunch special and it did not disappoint. Such a great creamy and savory flavor bomb. Took the German chocolate cake to go and it was such a light and delectable treat. Great service and very personable and friendly staff!

The best sit down restaurant in the Crestview/FWB area. All the dishes are amazing and it’s our restaurant of choice for celebrations and when our friends are in town. They have a great dessert selection and special items menu as well. Highly recommend!

Yall, this is my first time at Wild Olive... Honestly, I kinda had one eyebrow up thinking, I ain't gonna like this place. I WAS WRONG. The service was just ok but the food was REALLY good. From my Mediterranean salad, to my Ribeye to my Chesecake. I enjoyed it all. I did think I should of had more mashed potatoes with the steak, but what I had I really enjoyed. My Mom ordered the Mahi-Mahi and thought it was super delicious. I tried a piece (Im NOT a seafood fan) and it was thick and had a texture like chicken. No fishy taste at all. We took 4 desserts home. Raspberrry/ Lemon Cheesecake, Red Velvet cake, Hot Chocolate cake and a Carrot Cake. The Carrot Cake WON! It was moist and soooooo good. While we were there, a couple at our neighboring table that made conversation with us. Once our meal was over, they gave us their "school support card" to use. They saved us 15%!!! I was pleasedly surprised and highly recommend the Wild Olive. If I lived in Crestview, we'd be on a first name basis with the staff.

My family and I come here every year around Christmas on our way to see the lights in Defuniak Springs. They offer a simple menu (not too big) with great selections for the whole family. From their bread and pastas to their steak and burger you can't go wrong here. Great atmosphere with great service. Clean, friendly and delicious! This will remain our go to spot in Crestview for nice family diners for years to come.

Really nice mom and pops restaurant. With beautiful decor. Looks like someone house. The food was delicious. My wife got the southern salad with grilled shrimp and she loved it. I got the steak sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and was similarly impressed Their desserts are also super tasty and the servers are extremely helpful and friendly!

So disappointed. Heard this place was great. We took our daughter there tonight for her 21st birthday. Checked online to make sure they were open and it said open until 8 PM. Then we got there and they had a sign on the door = Closed for private event! Would have been nice to have that mentioned online. Did not know we had to call to make sure you’re open on a Thursday night!

We were initially in Crestview for work as we come here a couple times out the month. We usually get some type of fast food but decided to give this place a try. We ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp and grits, Carrot Cake, and tiramisu all to go.THIS HAD TO HAVE BEEN THE BEST FOOD IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! Literally not one single complaint I will go broke spending my money on this because I will be coming here every single time I’m in town!!!

Absolute best Italian I've ever had and I've eaten Italian all over the country. The Chicken Tuscana was perfection. The sauce, the pasta, the flavorful and juicy chicken- all perfection. Deserts, salad, bread and dipping oil were all exceptional as well. Anna was our server and she took excellent care of us. Highly recommend. Wish I could give 10 stars!

We live in Baker so thought we'd try out Eagles Nest for a steak since it's close by. After a week of work we don't always want to drive out of town. Started off with smoked tuna dip and it was flavored with liquid smoke and no seasoning, then we were told they had no filet mignon. Disappointed, we just gave up and ended up at The Wild Olive. I'm glad we did. Poor Brian caught the tail end of our frustrated night out - but he was upbeat and so pleasant. All of our food was amazing. Forgot the name of the drink, but the margarita made with wine was perfect. Thanks Brian for great service. Made our date night much better.

If heaven is real this place will be there!

This restaurant is a Crestview gem! We are always greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. The staff make you feel as if you are family and always deliver top knotch service. The food is simply amazing. We have never had anything short of delicious. If you manage to get out the door without dessert, I suggest getting it to go.

I‘m from Germany and went there with my two friends (also from Europe). We were so happy to finally find a place that doesn’t only serve the standard American food. The restaurant looks so nice and the service was great!! The food was outstanding! We will be back

Back on Sept 14. Finally got back to one of our favorite sit downs. Hospitality, delicious meals, atmosphere. This is just a friendly local place that celebrates good food. Crispy Brussel sprouts. Yum. Just the right amount of sweet and savory and crisp. If the server asks if you'd like bread, say yes... for the bottom of the bowl of brussel sprouts. The Sweet potato gnocchi comes with ceasar side salad. Nice an light. Salad dressing is tossed before plating, so you get a taste in every bite. Oh my. The gnocchi is so good. If you're not sure what Fall tastes like, this is a good start. The blackened Mahi sandwich has a really nice portion. Just enough lettuce tomatoe and onion. French fries we hot and seasoned like I like them. Who needs catchup, the other sauce...mmm. Portions filled us up. Maybe we should have split an entree? Nah. Take home the leftovers and enjoy again. Delicious. And taking home a slice of red velvet cake too! So good to be back at The Wild Olive! Started with the crispy brussel sprouts (topped with honey and bacon vinegrette and goat cheese), then enjoyed the backend shrimp and grits (gouda grits, bacon, green onions, Cajun butter sauce, and parmesan) and the chicken parmesan (we got the crispy chicken and it was moist and delicious) comes with capellini, marinara, provolone, and parmesan) Yum.  Pre-meal delicious bread with olive oil. Entree comes with a salad or soup. Either is going to be delightful. We had the house salad with apple vinegrette. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to be back.

Spent a great evening with my mother-in-law. The food was just as great as the company. I bought the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. My MIL had never tried any in the past, however, that night she did. It changed her view on all brussel sprouts and she had about a 1\3rd of the bowl. Which, they served well over 4 servings and for the price this was awesome! She had the chicken Alfredo and just the Caesar salad but was blown away by the flavor. I had the Mediterranean salad and didn't know if I could eat the pecan crusted pork, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, but I did! And I was absolutely astounded by the flavor and delightfulness of the food. If you have a desire to eat great food at a phenomenal price, there's no better place in Crestview, FL!

First time at this restaurant, my husband and I was more than pleased with the service. First off they all gave a warm welcoming soon as you walked in. Our waiter was very nice and well informed on the menu. If I would recommend a meal it would definitely be the Chicken Tuscana with shrimp, chicken, and sausages. It only comes with chicken but add shrimp and sausages, the chef or the meal will not disappoint you at all. The meats wasn’t dry and the pasta and sauce was amazing. You definitely can’t leave without trying the cheese/red velvet cake. This baker deserves 5 stars cause the cake was absolutely delicious 😋 I will definitely be back!

We got seated quickly and took a moment for our server to address us. Then sweet tea wasn't really sweet it was semi. Ordered Brussel sprouts, got it with no space due to they only had a suace with bacon for it, which is a no-go for me, that is poor planning only having that option. Next, we waited a long time for salads, got Cesare salad, it was sweet, had tomatoes on the side, no croutons or shredded cheese, and had a small piece of some kind of toast. House salad, very little dressing comes with it. Main courses come out, not hot at all, just a little warm. Mine had no flavor, and white sauce was runny. Chicken seasoning made it taste very salty. The same went for other main course. It had a red sauce, not flavorful at all, had to get it all to go and season it up at home and thicken my sauce up once warming it back up. Tried it, but there is no need for us to return in my choice.

It's a visual delight to the eyes as well as to your tastebuds! The food is made to order with fresh ingredients, you'll not be disappointed! Warm bread and butter are always brought to your table. The service is fantastic and I'm always well pleased! The desserts are superb from Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Cake to Cheesecake and Creme Brulee or a nice dish of fruit, all are made on site by a woman that knows her stuff! The building is charming inside and out, it holds a wonderfully relaxing vibe among a nice touch of class. They let you bring your own bottle of wine since they don't sell it there and that's ideal for most to bring your favorite! They set you up with a bucket of ice, wine glasses and uncork it for you! I am certain you are going to love the Wild Olive as much as I do!

This was my 2nd time here and the food was amazing! We were there on the Saturday before the 4th of July and the restaurant was hot and stuffy. I had my son with me who has autism and he said "no more hot restaurant", after we finished eating. We did enjoy our food but hopefully the air conditioning works better, if we decide to go again.

This is a nice gem. Almost doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. We had lunch. I ordered the Ribeye sandwich and my wife had the shrimp poboy. The service was top notch. Our waitress was on point. My sweat tea never saw empty. I absolutely love when you don't have to ask for a refill.

Delicious. Good people, good service, expensive but well worth it for a nice dinner. My brother has very serious nut allergies and they have taken care of us so well. Best steak in town, no contest. They also have really good grits and grit cakes. Amazing cheesecake. I could go on. Just incredible

Showed up with no reservations was told we would have to wait roughly an hour for our party of 5. Then was given the option to sit on the patio to be seated sooner. Once seated we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The waitress waited a bit before asking us what we wanted to eat. Once we ordered it took quite some time to get our food. My husband got the Mahi and shrimp, stated the Mahi was bland tasting while the rice was pretty good and shrimp was delicious. One of our friends got the smash burger, stated that the burger for the price was not good; that it was a regular tasting burger nothing fancy about it. They also wouldn’t allow him to substitute the fries for fruit or a salad because it was a burger. I have the shrimp and grits, it was tasty and more like a take on Mac n cheese with how cheesy and thick the grits felt. The shrimp were partly sunken down into the grits and I had to “fish” for them and discovered they were tail on and slightly over cooked and hard for me (I have braces) to bite from the tail and chew. Our other friend had the coffee crusted steak and stated it was good, but didn’t stand out for what the charged price was. Their son had the kids burger which is more like sliders with fruit (they were allowed to order fruit with his meal after substituting the fries for it), he stated they were yummy and also devoured the bread they brought to the table between courses that we asked for. The desserts were good as well. Overall, its a four star rating off of half the reviews from the table stating their food was good but not worth the dollar amount being charged.

Service was phenomenal. Our server was one of the best we’ve had. The hot bread and dipping oil was the highlight of the food. We ordered stuffed jalapeños and the loaded fries as appetizers. Jalapeños were cold; fries were delicious but just warm. Main course was Alfredo with various toppings and chicken parmigiana. The entrees were not even warm — cold. We were led to believe this was the best Italian in town. Maybe they need some heat lamps. Wish it would have been a better experience. But kudos to our server!

Extremely mid. The burger was coated in a “special” mustard that was regular mustard with maybe relish (?) mixed in. The chicken parmesan was a decent portion but the breading was not crisp and did not stick to the actual chicken. They do not make craft cocktails, everything is from a can. The service was slow, receiving a salad after receiving the main course. The servers do not seem particularly friendly or interested in your table. The crème brûlée was burnt and tart. Very underwhelming experience for one of the “nicer” restaurants in town.

Met a friend here for a nice dinner on a weeknight. Plenty of parking available and was seated in less than 5 min. We were greeted at the table immediatly for our drinks. My friend ordered a salad, I ordered the salmon dinner with a caeser salad. Both were done to perfection. You could definitely taste a salt on the salmon. Personally, I loved it, but just putting that out there if someone doesn't like that. Will for sure come back again, next time I'll save room for desert.

Unfortunately very disappointing Valentine’s dinner. My hubby and I came five hours away from central Florida to dine in your restaurant. I had my menu choices picked out for weeks. First course was great, Brussels salad was Crispy and tasty. Second course, potato soup… ran out. Two hours into dinner service. This is not good considering you know how many reservations you have, meaning someone probably didn’t count right for servings. I don’t eat duck so that option was out, and I settled for the bruschetta, which I wished our server described better. I do not like mushrooms, especially large pieces, and goat cheese was an unexpected and not pleasant surprise instead of parm or something similar. Steak cooked medium , unfortunately half was super tough and I couldn’t chew it. Both of our dishes were Served with stone cold potatoes ,we had to ask for new ones. Berry pavlova was obviously store bought, with that unpleasant pre made strawberry goop from a bucket and cool whip. For $130 plus tip this was an extreme disappointment. Also, our check was dropped off before dessert was even served. This is rude and makes it seem like you just want to “churn and burn” tables to make money. What if I wanted a glass of wine with my dessert? It’s Valentines Day. This was an incredible amount of money to spend on a subpar meal. A discount would have been appreciated for so many errors. Will not be back.

The Wild Olive is a local treasure in Crestview. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting, not stuffy at all. The food is always delicious, especially the Chicken Tuscana with tortellini and you simply cannot leave without trying any one of the amazing deserts! Love the BYOB option too!

Wholesome atmosphere - kind waitstaff … not so good pasta.. Italian foodies be wary, it was “Olive Garden” without the unlimited breadsticks.. 10/10 on the soup & salad though!! & I thought it was cool that you can bring your own wine bottle for a $5 cover charge. But we ordered the chicken parm & Alfredo and didn’t get through it.. took it home and never ate it ): too expensive for the quality served..

Decided to try this place, and it was excellent. It reminds me of the restaurant back home I used to work at. I just wish I had heard of this sooner.
