27/05/2023: Earlier this restaurant was Pirozzi but recently has changed to Foretti’s. Same as older days, they offer quality Italian food. They are located at the best part of OC. The food, location, and service was outstanding. The interior design was good but can be improved. Try their pastas, they have special ones like Lamb Rago. Their pizza is also good

06/05/2023: After a relaxing stroll thru the neighborhood, Pizza and Birre sounded like just what we needed. Sam was absolutely amazing! Funny, helpful and friendly! Pizza was amazing from the fresh dough to the to the generous toppings! Beer was cold and we were even gifted a cannoli for dessert! Such a gem!!! I highly reccomend! Will return!

04/05/2023: I ordered the lasagna and margarita pizza. The sauce with the lasagna is so flavorfull. It has a good tang and herb flavor to it. The lasagna has a good mix of meat and cheese and was delicious. The pizza crust had a nice char to it with good sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. It reminded me of some really good pizza I had in Florence Italy. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back for dine-in. Thanks for the amazing food.

14/05/2023: Amazing! What a great meal! The staff were phenomenal, we sat at the counter and got to chat with chef Chris throughout the dinner. Totally worth getting the drink pairing and the time and place pairing. Favorites were the lettuce, octopus, late night eats, and green curry. Definitely a special occasion place.

30/05/2023: My wife and I were sat the bar which overlooks their prep/grill area. And while we were definitely satisfied with our orders we couldn't help but wish that we would've ordered one of everything! The food is amazing. We had the shrimp roll and the rockfish cake.

17/05/2023: This is hands down one of the best restaurants in the country… it’s an experience. The somewhat remote and semi-wacky (tho just “the usual” hi-desert environs ;)) location, the smart service, but mostly the beautifully inventive and delicious twists on American classics done with love and care. I hate driving, but I will happily get in the car for this. It is a truly special place I hold dearly to my heart. During Covid they kept it going with take home meals and sangria, etc. and entertaining Instagram stories. Literally was one of the brightest spots during that time period for our family. Their authenticity and commitment are the best - absolutely love the whole team and experience. If you are within a 3 hour driving distance - I am telling you it is a must. Make it a trip by going to pioneer town too or make it a weekend and also go to Joshua tree.
