06/05/2023: In a quiet Baltimore neighborhood sits a slice of Greece, capturing a homey taverna replete with aroma of skewered meats wafting from the kitchen and and ambient sound of doleful ballads. Place quickly filled up with dinner crowd. Ordered the combi spread of roasted eggplant, hummus and creamy fish roe which came out on a platter with warm fresh pita bread the roe was outstanding-creamy with hints of the ocean was outstanding. For mains, opted the Combo-of chicken kebab, sliced roasted meat, spinach spanokopita, dolmas, butter rice and veggies plus tzatsiki. Partner opted for the pasta and mixed seafood. Oth came with a side of greek salad. Portio s were huge and the food delicious. Dessert wasnt an optio after gorging the entrees. Total cost plus tip came to 72 USD. It was well worth the drive and the expense!? Tip-opt for smaller plates or sharing big plates to leave room for a piece of baklava! Also, they do accept cards in addition to cash but note diner needs to pay at the counter. OPA!!

27/04/2023: I’m going to regret writing this review, but this is the best place in Baltimore hands down. Food and service are great each time. I go far too often and have had literally every menu item- all delicious. If you like solid bar food and a nice place, check out Swallow. I only say I’ll regret writing the review because they’ve gotten so busy. I recommend them on all social media I see asking for bar recommendations. Place is always buzzing these days. Again, best place in Baltimore.

12/05/2023: Food was really yummy I had a citrus cocktail and the black angus steak. My date had oysters and some type of fish which he really liked and typically is super picky. Portion size was good and price was about what you'd expect on the waterfront!

And with today's high price for food, I am mighty glad their prices are still affordable and less I forget the food was great. Their broth is pretty good and this time around I ordered pork and shrimp summer roll and my it was to die for. The y had this sauce that came with the rolls. 27/05/2023: Delicious pho. My wife and I got the Nos. 11 & 12, a lean beef pho and one with slightly more fat. We became fans of this family business after having dinner at their restaurant in Vietnam 25 years ago. We found them again after they came to the U.S. and opened a restaurant in Wheaton (which no longer exists). With this restaurant (now 18 years in this location), the specialty is pho. 11/05/2023: Mannnn what a gem. Finally went to try them out a few weeks ago and OMG. The menu alone is enough to get your juices going lol But I had the fresh ginger and orange juice i think it was, the soup of the day which was a lentil vegetable, and the raw tacos. Finishing it off with the pineapple cake. Omg Everything was so fresh, flavorful, filling. Cant wait to go back

30/04/2023: This is a great meal before seeing a show or just looking for an affordable night out with unique options. You should make reservations if you plan to visit during peak dinner hours. The check-in process is a bit crowded and confusing, but the meal is worth it, especially if you don't have a lot of time. The service is very prompt and the courses come out quickly. You can slow down the experience if you like, but the service seems accustomed to quicker visits. I would recommend as a stop in the Mt Vernon area.

05/05/2023: I usually do the Pastore’s on Friday’s. Lately though just haven’t been thrilled about it. Sometimes the bread isn’t fresh and why cut a sub diagonal makes it harder to eat. Sometimes they have put more olives than usual or too much hots. Not sure if quality is going down but I don’t think I will return
