Simply beautiful food and service.

If I could give the “service” a million stars I would. I made reservations and requested a note be left on the table for my husband. When we got there, in beautiful writing, the note sat right in front of his plate. It was perfect. Our reservations were at 8:30 and they had our table ready early and were very patient as we were running (quite literally) 2 minutes behind. Iya was our sweet server. She was amazing. Her attitude and general demeanor were charming and kind. She was very attentive. She was also incredibly patient with us. I had failed to remember what time they closed and definitely didn’t realize it at the time but we made the entire staff stay an hour late. We were the only people left in the restaurant and we felt so awful for the staff and that we had kept them so long. I definitely recommend not doing that because it is a minimum of not courteous, max of incredibly rude. Our apologies to the staff that night! We sat on the patio where there was absolutely not one other patron. This is why we didn’t realize we were the only ones left; we were the only ones outside. The food itself was so good it could almost make you cry. The wine and beverage choices were vast and we got Riesling for myself and my husband got some cocktails. Very delicious. Overall would definitely recommend every chance given.

The customer service here was amazing, our waitress Jessica was extremely nice and attentive. The owner was amazing, he offered to take an entire meal off the bill just because it came out late. The food and the service were amazing. It is a little expensive but i still definitely recommend.

First time eating at this restaurant. It was amazing! So delicious. Best salmon I have ever had. Wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. Wish we lived closer… this would be a regular for me.

I was a guest at a birthday celebration. To start, I had a watermelon and blueberry mojito. It was recommended by our server, Mike. I then ordered the Southern Casprese, which is fried pimento cheese served with green tomatoes and a Basil peach jam that tasted more like apple sauce. Other guests ordered appetizers as well. The appetizers came out we shared and had laughs. It seemed as though Mike was busy, and we were ready to order our main course. It took him a minute to get back to us. However, because we were having such a good time, I didn't deduct a star for service. When he did start taking our order, I ordered the salmon and fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Let me say this to be fair. This restaurant has local Georgia suppliers. Therefore, the menu listing is limited and portion sizes and not generous but enough to fill you up. They make a lot of their own sauces. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky, and juicy. It was topped with a lemony dill sauce, which was delicious. The fingerling potatoes and asparagus were seasoned perfectly. Hats off to the chef. I had a wonderful time. Would I return? The answer is yes but only on special occasions because it is pricy but the well seasoned food out shined the price. Would I recommend this restaurant to family and friends? Yes, I would, but I would be open and honest about the portion sizes and the price and the reasoning behind those critique.😁

Overall very good experience. The atmosphere was very nice and well done. Table setting was fancy. No specific dress attire required as some people were dressed up and some came in T-shirts. Sat indoors however they do offer seating on the patio and they even have mister fans during summer. The service was decent and friendly. Ordered the table biscuits which comes with a blueberry jam. Biscuits were great and I recommend. Seemed that most everyone around us ordered these. Also ordered the New York strip which was cooked to perfection and a generous portion. It is a $70 steak so it should be top tier. I don’t think it was worth $70 but this is a higher end restaurant.

My wife, son and his fiancée ate there last night. All we can say is it was phenomenal. Been to a lot of great restaurants but this one is above and beyond. We will be back !!!!

Excellent food and service. I just wish there were more options on the menu that didn't have pork, it really limits people with different dietary restrictions.

An amazing meal and restaurant. Our waitress Elise was friendly knowledgeable and all around awesome. We tried 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was delicious, had amazing flavor, and was well prepared. This is an awesome date night dinner spot right by the waterfront and downtown.

Over priced, tiny portions and limited menu. Almost $50 for 4 scallops, the smallest bone in pork chop I have seen, small piece of salmon, and the sides were almost nonexistent. The presentation was great but unfortunately the flavor fell flat, average at best. The service was pretty good, but location is downtown so got to deal with that. Will not be back, and would not recommend wasting your money.

Professional,friendly staff start to finish. Great atmosphere conducive to creating a lasting culinary memory. The pre dinner cocktails were on point from the pecan smoked old fashion to the herbaceous Southern dirty martini. The oyster appetizer has several layers of flavor and when paired with a couple of drops of their ghost pepper sauce becomes a spiritual experience! Jessica was prolific in her knowledge of the menu and wine pairings and really enhanced our experience! My dad and my son both had the Tilefish and I had the scallops. We all agreed on how amazing the food was! A lasting memory for all of us! Would definitely recommend it!

Prices are insane. Triple what you pay in any other fine dining restaurant. Also, no place to park because management will not enforce toaway for violators.

The best culinary experience I’ve had stateside in a long time! The focus on flavor is second to none! I’m very impressed also with the people who work there and the pride they take.. from the chef coming to check on us, to the wait staff’s amazing personalities. I recommend everyone check this awesome place out!

Update (5/24/24): I dunno guys. Maybe tonight was an off night. But between a server who was like half there and barely warm food that was just ok, I wasn't impressed at this price point. The reno looks good, though.

This was our second time to eat here .The first time was 1 1/2 years ago . The only reason it was so long between visits is because we live 4 hours away. This time was even better than the first time .The food , service and atmosphere were perfect both times. We were fortunate to have Bo as our server both times, The menu options are perfect- not too many, but yet we want to keep trying it all . The food was perfect.and Heather , the chef /owner stopped by our table on the patio to check on us , which always makes you feel special.. Not fussy , just excellent food and service ,without being pretentious.Perfect night once again.

Great remodel and wonderful service from the staff. We're okay with the limited menu and appreciate the locally sourced options. We also realize that buying local will cost more. The food was good but not great. These were small and spendy portions; we left hungry.

This place had the potential to a great fine dining restaurant. You’ll realize quickly though that although presents itself in a fancy manner. Sweatpants and an old t shirt is all you need. Dress code was non existent, so if you’re looking for a date night without kids and loud groups, check out somewhere else. Cocktails are subpar. bartender could use a refresher on a classic old fashioned. My food was good but for an elegant place like this you’d expect better. Presentation was great but I’ve tasted better. Overall it was a decent experience, not the worst but really just a fancy Applebees. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant Note: Service was nice, my server was presentable and helpful and no fault to her that the restaurant failed to pull together both the food and drink.

Me and my wife came to dinner here for the first time tonight , and oh my was it amazing! The service , the food , the atmosphere, EVERYTHING was a 10/10. We will definitely be coming back

Very nice warm and welcoming atmosphere

We had the best meal we have had in a while here. The oysters are excellent (get a dozen). The scallops were beautifully prepared. The shrimp and grits were excellent. The chocolate cream brulee was delicious... Best sweet tea I have had anywhere! Check them out!

Easily our favorite. The service is always perfectly timed and delightful. The food is out of this world. Heather, the chef-owner is brilliant! She rotates seasonal dishes and uses local ingredients to make every meal fresh and interesting.

Had an amazing dinner sitting at the bar. The whole restaurant has really charming rustic decor and is right on the river walk and fun to walk to from the convention center. Love love the smoked oysters! Chili oil, smoky, spicy and you load onto your saltines. Combine it with their smoked cocktail. T”their shellfish and sausage stew was so amazingly flavorful and comforting. Loved and will be back if I have the chance.

First time in Columbus, I would recommend this place. The atmosphere and the service were the best I’ve had in a long time.

I had really high hopes for 11th & Bay. A few people told me about it and after reading reviews I thought it would be the perfect for Valentine’s Day dinner. We were able to reserve in advance and that was a plus. My husband got the Lamb and I got the Grouper. I have enjoyed grouper a couple of other places in Columbus and on vacation in Florida so I was eager to try it with the spinach and sweet potato. Unfortunately, it was a little dry and lacked flavor. My husband’s Lamb was flavorful and cooked to his perfection. It came with a relish that was detectible. We used some of the relish and the potato puree to spruce up the grouper. Our waitress was attentive, pleasant, and inviting. The atmosphere was styled eclectic, with repurposed furniture with hints of farmhouse, rustic, and elegance. The portions to pricing ratio was decent although the menu items are limited with additional charges to substitute the set dinners.

Food was bland and pricey. Could have gotten better food and drinks for less somewhere else. However service and atmosphere were great.

Way overpriced for what you get. How about some vegetables with a $32 shrimp and grits. No bread, water, salmon & rice, shrimp & grits = $74. No bueno. The shrimp was so-so and not even peeled. Salmon was a small piece for 36 bucks.

Service and staff are excellent

Went here with friends for dinner and conversation and glad to say that both were great. Server was very good as was our food. The best thing of the night was it was quiet enough for us to catch up with friends

Wonderful experience on the night of 1/27/24. Had plans to visit another restaurant, but didn't work out. We landed here and everything was 10/10. They sat us pretty quickly without a reservation, the service was top-notch, food was delicious, options were plentiful, and drinks were wonderful. Highly recommend the Lamb Chops!

I like the atmosphere but the waitress we had was not any good .. We had to wait for ever for refills on our drinks she would just walk by us and not stop by to check on us .. We all had the New york strip and not one was cooked correctly..

The menu options below have changed. Smoked chicken was a bad decision. Salmon was said to be very good by the party members who ordered it. The very costly steak was questionable. Not going back.

Atmosphere is good, interesting assortment of drinks and cocktails, but the food is ok at best. It looks better than it tastes and just is not seasoned well. Third time I have been here and they were all the same. There will not be a fourth.

The food was great and the service is awesome. Been here a couple times and I can’t say enough how happy I am with the waiters and waitresses. The main problem is that the times we came, the atmosphere left something to be desired in some way. Old patio screens look dingy and gross. Some things look old and rustic and some things are just old and need to be replaced. Our last visit, my wife and I decided to spend our anniversary here. They played Charlie Brown Christmas, over and over and over again for the 2 hours. I get it, we are close to Christmas but can we play some Christmas music, or anything else? It was fine in the beginning but it really ruined the vibe when I memorized the lines of that movie by the end of our date. Also, small note, we have spent 150-250$ each time we came. The anniversary date, which they knew about, came with nothing for us. I didn’t pay attention to this but my wife noted that every time we have gone somewhere else that costs that much, we get something on the house even if it’s a little bit of chocolate and a flower and sometimes the whole dessert. For that kind of money, they should have a more clean and updated feel and overall atmosphere.

On November 11, 2023, We had the pleasure of dining at 11th and Bay Southern Table, a remarkable restaurant at 1050 Bay Ave, Columbus, GA 31901. My sister-in-law, Micki Sanders-Brooks, heartily recommended this establishment, and it has quickly become one of the best dining experiences I've had the pleasure of reviewing. The restaurant's location is fantastic, offering ample parking for guests. As you step through the doors, you're embraced by a warm, homely atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable culinary journey. Our party consisted of 11 people, and I must commend our waitress, Lisa, for her exceptional service. She went above and beyond to ensure that every need of ours was not only met but exceeded. Now, let's talk about the food – a true highlight of our visit. We began with the Table Biscuits accompanied by Georgia Jams Apple Butter. These were delightful mini biscuits, and the Georgia jams apple butter was a revelation in flavor. The Smoked Oysters served with Fried Saltines, Paprika Oil, Lemon Aioli, and Chives were a hit, especially with my wife, who couldn't get enough of them. For our main courses, we savored the Oven Roasted Salmon with Soy Butter Bok Choy, Black Rice, Trumpet Mushroom, Lemon Aioli, and Gari. The flavors melded together seamlessly, creating a culinary masterpiece. The Bone-In Pork Chop, served with Butternut Squash, Brussel Sprouts, Celery & Turnip Root Puree, and Apple Mostarda, stood out. It was one of the best Bone-In Pork Chops I've ever had – tender, succulent, and bursting with flavor. Our meal was so generous that we regrettably had to forgo dessert on this occasion. However, I'm eagerly looking forward to indulging in their desserts during my next visit. In summary, 11th and Bay Southern Table has the best combination of location, service, food, and atmosphere in Columbus, GA. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. It unquestionably deserves my 5-star Rating.

Definitely one of the very best restaurants to visit in Columbus. Been dozens of times and always has been consistently amazing. The Chef/Owner pays close attention to every detail and it clearly shows. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely amazing! from the smoked oysters, braised short ribs to trumpet scallops!! a must try resturant! the service at the bar was outstanding!! enjoyed talking with the two young ladies and the gentleman was so knowledgeable and recommending the dishes we ordered! we will make that 2 hour drive to eat here again! again great food, atmosphere and service!

We love 11th and Bay. The staff is always very nice and we’ve even met the owner once or twice (equally as nice). The old fashioned is one of my favorite drinks and it’s consistently great. The table biscuits with apple butter is to die for and we get them every time!

Staff is very nice, definitely a higher end restaurant. We sat outside, great atmosphere. We just werent very big fans of the food choices, they have a very small menu.

Cocktail menu was unique, the shrimp and grits were a nice size portion and well spiced, the caramel cheesecake with Brûlée banana was to die for. All the flavors were interesting and different. The staff was very friendly and professional.

What an elevated experience! Our server, Ashlee, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Right down to the ingredients in the dish. The food was presented nicely as well. We weren’t rushed and the restaurant had a nice ambience. Definitely the perfect choice for our anniversary dinner!

Food was superb. I liked the top of menu where they listed all the local sources of food. Service and presentation of food were top notch.

We took several boys that had just graduated RASP and everyone left hungry. Ridiculous how expensive and leave hungry. Increase your portion size if you are going to charge so much.

Atmosphere is amazing, sitting on the patio is relaxing (they spray mist off the balcony and it keeps the bugs and humidity at bay) the food is amazing, possibly the best steak in the area. Highly recommend trying either the steak or fish option.

Nice place. Fresh menu, nice ambience, great service. Shrimp and grits was a tasty item not seen much where I'm from in the midwest. The wait for food was long but not unreasonably so (50 minutes). The staff apologized profusely and took off more than half our bill (we didn't complain). Would go back.

We are local and usually visit once a year for special occasion. We will return SOON for MARY. I loved her so much, she really is so awesome and we had an amazing dinner tonight of biscuits, mussels, steak, truffle fries, crème brûlée… my husband loves the smoked bourbon drinks and I love the gin/limoncello cocktail. Amazing atmosphere and food. You have to try the screaming muscles! The potatoes with the salmon were a little too solid for me, but that's a personal taste.

The bartender helped recommend me a great white wine and appetizer to be paired with. She had service with a smile and the whole staff was friendly! The food was great I had the steak and it was all very good. The location itself is in a beautiful location just a street over off broadway. Definitely a beautiful place for formal events like prom. We got the pork belly appetizer. He got the Bone-in New York strip with truffle fries for $68. I got the shrimp and grits for $30. The server was polite, patient, and very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful steak. We will be back, thanks for the great adventure!

The shrimp and grits were really good. Nice portion. But in my opinion, $30 was a bit much for it. We ordered biscuits and we thought we were getting standard size but received really mini sized ones for $7, not much of an appetizer for adults. This was a nice first experience.

In the year 2023, I don’t expect great service. Nobody in restaurants are paid enough to go above and beyond, and I understand and respect that. Mary Lee was, by far, the best server I’ve had in years (maybe ever) and I hope she’s recognized and compensated for that. (On top of the tip that my boss left.)

We flew into Columbus airport to specifically eat at 11th and Bay. We only had the courtesy car for 2 hours but could have stayed longer and marinated in the atmosphere of the restaurant and walked in the cool evening air by the river. We were delighted by the staff, and eats. I had the succulent seared porkchop braised in a deep flavorful broth. Heavenly, melted on the tongue. Definitely a great dining experience.

Still trying to find a reliable fine dining restaurant in my hometown of Columbus GA.I Walked in at 9pm they close early at 9:30pm for whatever reason and they were already wiping down tables. This made me feel so bad as I hate walking in a place right before they close ! They insisted it was fine so I sit at the bar order my cocktail drink/ dinner. Since the menu doesn’t say what bourbon is used in the old fashioned, a few minutes after ordering I asked the bartender what bourbon was used. 15 minutes go by and I’m concerned that they forgot about my drink the bartender says ohh when you asked what bourbon was used I didn’t know you still wanted it… like I asked you that after I ordered the drink….man I’m sitting at the bar… I want a drink, a meal, the whole experience. I’m at the bar! They made my drink in no time so very frustrating on that confusion. Then my food comes out, I ordered a fillet medium rare, it came out very rare…good thing It was seasoned well and I’m not picky as most people who don’t like raw/bloody would have sent it back.overall spent 100 bucks on myself for raw steak, one cocktail, mashed potatoes and spinach… left frustrated and disappointed and unrelaxed from getting undercooked steak and having to remind people about drink orders… will be checking out the mill house and treviolis next to see if I can find a decent fine dining experience in Columbus GA.

Picked it out of the blue while visiting for graduation at Ft Benning. Stack was amazing and truffle fried were a pleasant suprise (never had them before ). Limited menu is you do not like fish, and just be prepared it is on the expensive side. All in all, it was a great Dinner after a long day!

As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere reels you in. My wife and I sat at the bar and had the absolute best service. The food was phenomenal. My wife has the shrimp and grits, and said it was the best she's ever ever had. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection and fall off the bone tender. Great way to start our time in Columbus!

I ate here several years ago & I was reminded this night why I never came back. The service was phenomenal as our newlywed waitress had a great personality! I just wished the food matched her energy! My favorite thing out of all that was ordered: smoked oysters, salmon, egg white something martini, french fries w/homemade ketchup & regular sangria... My favorite was the sangria, french fries & homemade ketchup! Personally, myself & friends did not feel nor taste it is worth what we paid. OAN, the esthetic was okay... My friends did not care for the "cotton fields" picture on the walls... I mean we all know that we are in the south but most could be offended by those pictures as it implies a part of history that is bothersome. The chairs are cute but are not forgiving for those who are curvaceous and have a bottom.

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. We sat on the patio. The food, however, was mediocre. I had the roasted chicken and my company and roasted salmon. The sauce that came with the chicken was a bit odd, and the ingredients didn't seem to blend well, so the resulting flavor was not good. The cooked spinach salad that came with the salmon was very bland. We did order creme Brule for desert. It was my first time having the dish, but I was not super impressed. It was overly sweet. We had the muscles for an appetizer, my company did love this, and it was their favorite part of the meal. For 2 people, with 1 appetizer, 2 entries, 1 desert to share, and 2 beers, the bill was about $130. For the price, I would have expected better flavors. But all and all, an overall good experience. I loved the rustic feel of the patio.

The whole experience was terrific! But the food really stands out. Truy delicious, fresh and unique. Our service was perfect, the atmosphere so stylish and they were very accommodating as it was quite cool inside so they made a place for us on the terrace. We were commenting that this was the best experience we'd had in recent memory. I would happily recommend. Parking can be hard to find but there is plenty up the hill.

Top Restaurant in Columbus GA. This place is my top pick when I get to choose where we eat. The mussels are OUT OF THIS WORLD as are the Shrimp and Grits. Everything they serve is fresh and made perfect every time. It has a homey southern feel right when you walk through the door. It also makes for a romantic night out! I love that this place is right on the river as well, makes for a perfect night out.

I had the best time trying out their seafood platter, it was absolutely packed with a variety of fish, shrimp, crab legs and more! The flavors were on point and it was definitely the highlight of my meal. The drinks menu was also on point, I had a great time trying out their signature cocktails. The service was top notch, the staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable. Overall, 11th and Bay Southern Table is a great spot for seafood lovers looking for a fun and delicious meal. I highly recommend it!

Southern fare done with a fine dining wash s what’s up here. Baseball shirts and doors everywhere with old factory decor whitewashed. The tomato’s caprese was different and fried pimento cheese wow. The rolls were a must but stingy on the jam. The shrimp and grits were OK with chewy grits and an herb we could not define? The decaf coffee done in town was the best I have had. The French press was the star of the meal.
