Love this place! Amazing staff, great food!

Food was horrible, worst BBQ I've had on the area. Service was okay, place was quiet and dead when while we were there.

It's the best BBQ around. Today I got the ribs and they are top notch.

I called my order in for pick up and the person who answered the phone was very rude and snappy. She or he (couldn’t tell) decided it was okay to have an attitude with me and tell me I should have just came in and ordered over the counter. When I arrived, the woman on the cash register was being very rude and yelling at the lady making the food. Honestly if someone talked to me the way the cash register lady talked to the other worker, I would have walked out. The food was okay. Overall, awful experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed their chipped sandwich and stew.

Great sandwiches. Sometimes the cashier is very outspoken about her troubles in the work place.

Delicious for a great price!! My husband and I had a date night of sorts and ordered the hawg dawg to share. It was delicious and we couldn't even finish it all it was so much. The BBQ sauces are unique and wonderful!! I will crave this meal til I get to return and I will recommend this place to anyone that will listen ;)

Today I tried the bbq in Ladonia. The atmosphere is exactly what I would expect of a barbecue restaurant, nothing fancy just functional with a bit of local flair. The clerk wore a baseball cap and the line workers wore face masks. This place is always smelling good with smoked meats when I drive by. I stopped in for a menu then carried on with my errands. I settled on chicken since I am particular about the quality of chopped meats and I definitely did not want a plate full of fatty connective tissue or mystery chunks. Their menu listed plates with sides, sandwiches, or meat by the pound. At the restaurant, I asked for a pound of pulled chicken. I thought I would be getting boneless, shredded, smoked chicken. The clerk called out "pound of chopped chicken". I paid $13 and some change, collected my order and left. When I got home, I opened the plate and it was half full of bbq chicken. The sauce was incorporated into the meat, fully saturated, absolutely no separation possible. It also came with 4 slices of white bread and a bowl of their sauce. The sauce is a mustard based thin sauce with vinegar overtones. The chicken was indeed chopped, including white meat, dark meat, and the ugly bits. I did not find any gristle, fat chunks, or bones. It was decent but not what I was hoping for

Food was great. Staff was nice and friendly. This could become a regular place to eat. *Update* Prices are a little higher like everywhere. Staff still excellent. They care about their customers. It did become a regular place. Food still great.

Some of the staff, like the Meat Man have worked at 13th Street BBQ for years providing consistent BBQ. I enjoy the smoked sausage.

So disgusted found a hair in my babies food I know it’s not his hair because his hair is blonde so nasty and then I call and let them know no apologies whatsoever he seemed like he had no care in the world the customer service is trash when you order the lady literally rushes you to place your order and then tell you the total before finishing very rushed the meat looks like it has been chewed up and spit out on your plate it’s so nasty I should’ve played it safe and just got dessert and maybe I wouldnt of wasted any of my money good luck on the next customer that tries to eat here because I did not have a good experience

Life saver. Open on labor day. Got a pound of chopped pork and large Brunswick stew. Meat was unusually good, great smoke taste, very little fat.

Awesome barbecue restaurant, we just happened to find, for lunch in our travels through the state. The pork chop sandwich was so delicious and tender, it was hard to believe how economical it was. The brunswich stew was out of this world and packed full of flavor. Once we ordered, we sat down and had the best interaction with service from the employees. They went above and beyond to cater to our every need. We might have to look for a reason to swing back through in the future.

Unbelievable BBQ the way it is supposed to be. Tender, flavorful absolute perfection. Several different types of sauces from hickory up to XXX soooo good! Great crew work hard, you can tell they are proud of their food and back that up with awesome service. So glad we found this place right in our neighborhood can't wait to be a regular!!

Food is always good and the staff is always friendly but the old guy who answers the phone for a simple pickup order was real rude and sounded bothered to take an order.

Always excellent Service Every time..

We went by and picked up 2 big boxes of barbeque pork and chicken with corn on the cob and stew. It was very good. Especially the grilled corn. Everyone really enjoyed it. Thanks guys.

Smell your way into this little slice of porcine heaven! Get some!!! Wife and I had the pork chop sandwich with the spicy and mild sauce. Way tasty! Also had some banana pudding to go. Our son deemed it worthy. Very worthy

I had never heard of a pork chop sandwich so I had to pull over and try one. Best choice ever! The sandwich was huge, moist and the best tasting BBQ I have had. Service was fast, staff pleasant, food hot and wish I had this at home. Great ice tea! Thanks for the experience!

I tried the "hot" , spicy BBQ. I really liked it. Well lit, clean dining area and bathroom. The food was really good and service was really fast. All together, a great BBQ experience.

I would like take a chance to have the opportunity to beat yall scrambled dog change I two times already n I'm coming from Florida so Friday I will be there time I don't know but I will be there last guy did it 13min I'm going for finish time 7mins

Best pork chop sammich of all time. I don't normally go for slaw, but this is the Carolina style slaw that goes perfect with any pork BBQ and it's a must have on the massive chops they put in these sammiches. The hot isn't too spicy and I recommend going that route for the best results. This place is the real deal.

I cant believe someone called this place unsanitary. I know for a fact every surface of this restaurant is scrubbed with bleach daily. And this was before Covid. I can only imagine the precautions Gary and the crew are taking these days. Guess you just cant make some people happy.

I Walked in. I was greeted. Walked to counter to place order. And. She ignored most of what i said and talked to the customer behind me. Taking his order the same time and it felt rude. Think her name was tori. Food was good but customer service was not

The staff here is awesome. Our first time here and we felt like we have known them forever. They treat customers like family. Food was ready in almost no time. I really loved the antique metal signs in the dining area. Gives the place a really laid back feel and they know most customers by name and what they order. Obviously a lot of regulars. Really good food and reasonably priced. Large servings

Quite easily the best BBQ in Phenix City! The best thing on the menu is the sausage plate by far. Just the right mix of smoke and spice. The sides are hot and tasty and the tea is truly southern. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some good southern bbq
