Love shopping at Adam's such fresh produce and lots of specialty items. I went in to get some plants nice selections and the staff is lovely and helpful.

Yay a $6 egg and cheese filled with eggshells. Gross. All dairy here is suspect, tons of expired stuff mixed in with the good, gotta be super careful here with checking expiry dates. Kinda letdown honestly. The place is filthy when you look closely. My pics are what the deli case looks like up close, with food for sale right next to it. Do Better Adam's!

For years I have been going to this store, I love how clean they have it but there have been several times that they have overpriced me and on some occasions the products have been damaged. I am talking about dairy products, aside from how expensive the store has been lately, it is not worth it. fruit and this ugly one, the same thing happened to me again, they need to do something more than just apologize.

The food is good, but the weighing system is a total rip off. Beware.

Great produce, meat, cheese, bakery and deli! The butchers are helpful and informative. The frontline cashiers are so friendly! If you have a hard time finding a gourmet item for a special meal, you will probably find it here!!

Very disappointed in the glaring sun beating into the eating area in Newburgh store. Thought I would escape the heat by picking up dinner and eating in store. The heat in that area was bad, no wonder myself and 1 other were the only ones there. Need to block those big West facing windows.

I love Adams. They are a FULL service supermarket & butcher, bakery, candy store and restaurant. I love that you can get pizza here and it's actually good and appetizing to look at. The crust is good, perfect amount of cheese, the toppings are great but...it can use a bit more sauce...its just a bit dry. TO the Adams Pizza Maker: If you add more sauce, your pizza will be perfect!

Adams is by far my favorite grocery store and I especially love the Newburgh location. The products are consistently top notch and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Today, Rose, in the cheese department went above and beyond to help me. It’s little things like someone trying to help you out that make for a loyal customer. It just cements why I keep coming back to Adams in Newburgh.

They have a good selection of fruits and veggies, their fresh breads are good, and they have a nice selection of cheese. Their floral and nursery area is a nice bonus​. They don't always have some of the basics needed on a typical grocery trip, but you can find some unusual or higher end items that make it worth a visit here. They also have a good selection of hot prepared foods, a salad bar, and sushi as well as a small place to eat the prepared items.

Clean... Beautiful produce... Fantastic meat and seafood... Bakery, garden area and rest of the store just wonderful.

This is a SPECIAL PLACE..Hugh selection of products. All items, ie corn, grapes, vegetables, baked goods all very fresh! Prices are EXTREMELY REASONABLE. Try Adams & you'll be VERY PLEASED!

I always love shopping at this store. Yes, a little more expensive but they have things I can't find anywhere else. But, my last two visits, two different cashiers were incredibly rude. Both young women, no names recorded. They threw my groceries into the bag without regard to weight or spillage, I had to repack and they did not care or help. They were too busy talking to the other cashiers. If this store keeps hiring lazy, obnoxious cashiers, I'll take my business elsewhere.

This was a one stop grocery store. I got a delicious salad from salad bar. The garlic nots are the best and the they had an awesome mushroom section.

Went here for the first time after living in the area for 4-5 years to see what people love about it. And... I have absolutely no idea. Priced some red bell peppers first thing inside the door. They're 5 for $1.00 at my grocery store, here they're 5 for... $5.96 after weighing them. Not far from those were Wonderful Pistachios... exactly 3X the price per ounce as next door at BJ's. Yeah... no thanks. I'll be content to skip this particular stop between WM and BJ on my grocery trek and continue to get my produce, for cheaper, closer to home.

Unfortunately...Adams hot food is starting to be very disappointing. The selection is boring. You can tell the cooks don't have the love of food in preparation. A lot of times here lately the wing dings are salty and dry. The workers are standing around and not stirring the hot food so it tends to dry out. The fruits and vegatables have not been good lately. Grapes sour, you can tell the Bananas and apples appears to had been frozen or in the refrigerator too long. I feel a lot of the customers like myself are just loyal to the store, but ADAMS used to be great...now I'm moving around in the area to other markets and finding better grades of fruits and vegetables. The hot food bar has to get better with better selections.

I enjoy their bakery products. Shop early in the day for the best selections.

Quality items, fresh produce, super candy and treats. Their bakery is amazing. I even had a custom cake made for my boss that was decorated with half sunshine and rainbows and other half dark and gloomy and it was so cute. I love love love their chocolate covered pretzels. Lots of toppings. Getting lunch there I regularly get sushi or the salad bar. Gift shop on site. Neat stuff.

Don't expect a big selection of non-food items at this grocery store. I had to hunt for light bulbs in the garden section and they had 1 option. Also the guy cutting my fish did a HORRIBLE job. Hooorrible

Shout out to Tim in the nursery for going above and beyond the call of duty to find me the most fabulous plants. Adams are the go-to garden centers of the Hudson Valley. Thanks again.

I’m tired of spending my hard earned money on poor quality! I’ve had to return chicken on several occasions bc it smelled awful! And today I purchased 2 flounder fillets. I just tried cooking and literally fell apart! It was mushy and slimy! I grew up on eating fish back in Portugal so I am very well aware on cooking it! This is unacceptable! You spend money and then have to spend additional money on take out! Frustrated is an understatement!!!!

I want to give this store 5 stars and all Adams stores in general bc they are a great, family-owned (chain) with an excellent greenhouse and treat their employees well. HOWEVER, their produce sucks and is almost always overpriced and wilted and their prices are insanely high on basically everything. They’re also the sole reason why there is no Trader Joe’s in this town or neighboring towns bc they know they cannot compete with TJ’s pricing which is disgusting on so many levels. Thank Adams for no Trader Joe’s in Dutchess/Ulster County bc they’re scared of a little competition

For some strange reason whenever my husband and I (an interracial couple) shop at this store, the cashiers just decide not to bag our groceries. We have complained to the complaint department and we return only to have the same experience. The staff of this store need bias training. There is no reason why this happens and then the cashier decides the white family behind us need to be taken care of immediately but not us. Are we not paying customers as well?

This place is kinda expensive. But their salad bar is fully stocked, and you can buy almost anything here! They didn’t have a clock radio, but that’s all right. I did manage to get a lot of good food and eat it. What a wonderful lunch! I highly recommend the salad bar. The groceries are all right, but as I’ve said, kind of expensive.

Adams Fairacre Farms is a high-end grocery market that primarily caters to healthy & specialty goods. Yes, a bit pricey on certain items, but remember, you're top quality products here. If you have a sweet tooth, they have a whole section dedicated to unique and commercial candies and specialty sweets. If you're a lover of baked goods, you're going to get a nice variety of quality deliciousness in this section. Same concept when it comes to the deli and cheese sections. They also have a great pizza shop in the store! Good service as well.

They have fresh produce and a nice line of foods to choose from. They even have foods ready to eat with a dine in area. Some people in the bakery could be friendlier though. Some there aren't very helpful.

I went shopping on Friday, December 22, 2023. The store was packed! The meat department was, as usual, amazing! Helpful, friendly, and supportive. There were staff members everywhere in full site if you needed help. Even though you could hardly move without bumping into someone, I was in and out in no time. The food is great, and the customer service is exemplary.

Never going to Shoprite again to buy fruit again. Adam's Fairacre Farms has the best

This is where I get most of my meats from. I love the freshness of the fruits and vegetables. Oh, there is the hot foods. Very good. I would like to see hot or baked desserts added to the menu. On the weekends I like their breakfast. Good place!

I have been shopping at Adams,newburgh,ny since it opened.I over all like the store and the choices it offers. The produce,bakery and some meat and fish choices but of late has become pricier. I also enjoy the cheese dept. One thing I take issue with is their SALE sign on produce. Example 1 week on sale for $1.29 lb. The next week the same item on sale $1.39lb. It just doesn't make sense to me an experienced shopper of 40+ years. Another issue is their pricing. I've had to read my receipt because many times it is incorrect from what is listed on item. I had to go to customer service and get a refund because I was over charged. I never go into aisles as I can get many if not most items at either PC, shoprite or Hannaford for less money I like the fact there are many registers open and bags are free.

Best store to go to for any of your fresh food & veggie needs. Great outdoor selection with a beautiful nursery as well. So many handmade options. Can't forget to mention the amazing bakery there as well. Picked up two cakes yesterday for a party that were FABULOUS and less than $60 for both!!
