This restaurant is in our regular rotation. They always have great friendly service. The food is always great and the portions are large. Highly recommend. I especially love the Avgolemono soup and the Athenian chicken dish when it is on special.

One of my favorite places. Great food. Never disappoints. The salads are wonderful. But the dessert cakes are to die for.

Delicious food and great service. Be prepared to get your money's worth with their super large proportions. Great the day we got it and then again when we had it for leftovers

Our server was one of the best we've ever had. Her knowledge of the menu and ingredients was phenomenal . My husband had the stuffed peppers. I had the spanakopita. The desserts were amazing! The baklava was the best I've had in 35 years! It was an amazing experience. We will definitely go back when we visit Florida again!

Every single visit to the Fort Walton Beach area brings us to this restaurant for a Greek salad with chicken or Gyro meat. The staff is always pleasant and smiling, and the food is served promptly.

First of all they had some Gerry rigged a/c system they were using and it was really warm to try and eat comfortably 🥵 very expensive for my 2 bone in pork chops. I don’t believe they were about 1/8 of an inch thick overly done. Mashed potatoes were real thick with very thick brown gravy and some kind of green beans in a bowl. I won’t be back

Extra super busy meaning 12 sets of customers came in almost at the same time. Food is fresh and delicious!!! We got our iced tea right away so didn't mind the wait. Everyone is nice there. Try those daily specials!

Have loved the Aegean for many years! A group of us meets weekly for lunch, and The Aegean has been one of our favorite restaurants since it first opened. Have never had a meal that wasn't great. Service is always excellent, and the desserts are delicious!

Incredible food and service in a sandwhich shop atmosphere. The traditional gyro was perfect for a quick lunch. Swapping the fries for a Greek salad was a wise choice. I couldn't eat it all.

My husband always gets the fried grouper sandwich and ir's a huge portion. I get the traditional gyro. It is a well seasoned meat and also a lage amount. It's beeb good every time and we've been going for years.

Was craving some Greek food so looked on Google for something nearby. Decided on Aegean and was not disappointed. Excellent waitress. We told her it was our first time there and she immediately suggested a few things for us to try. I ordered the Traditional Gyro with fries, and the wife got a chicken gyro. Both were really good. Also ordered baklava, some of the best I've ever had. Overall, great food and customer service!!!

It was soooo good! 10/10 recommend. We usually do take out but tonight we went in for dinner and it was delicious. Everyone was super nice and helpful

I haven't had Greek food for a very long time and Aegean Restaurant was exactly what I wanted. And it has all this other food, too! I could get Greek, Italian, and fish & chips in the same place 🤯 also amazing desserts. They were out of chocolate mousse cake today, but I've heard it is THE reason to get dessert from here.

If you're willing to spend a bit more for top-notch cuisine, Aegean Greek Restaurant is a solid choice that won't disappoint. Lowered to 3 stars - Went today and was asked if we wanted extra tzatziki sauce, as were the rest of our table, several of us said yes. Did not realize it was a huge upchage ($2.60) for a tiny cup. Should have been informed that what we were being offered was a upcharge, especially with how expensive it was. Sadly the upcharge was unexpected and cut into what was budgeted for the tip. Others at the table were not happy about it either. Food was decent but not as good as the first time unfortunately.

If you like Greek or Mediterranean food, you'll love the food here. I've never had dolmades like the ones they make here--I've ordered them twice on two occasions. For the hummus and meatballs on the appetizer platter, my stomach wasn't big enough--I wanted more. The gyro was packed with the savory meat and homemade tzatziki. I could have made a meal out of the tzatziki and bread. If you leave here without getting the fresh-daily baklava, you're only hurting yourself. I made a special run just to get more of that. If I lived in the area, I'd eat here every week. Would love to have tried the stuffed meatloaf! ...I just ran out of time. Update: Made it back to this area and have stopped in here 3 times. Love it! Tried the Mousaka the first time...and had it again the second time. Third time was the stuffed peppers and loved 'em. Again, you must try the baklava.

Delicious Greek food! Brings me back to Europe. We had the dolmades (wonderful), beef souvlaki (tender & delicious), traditional gyros (fabulous), and baklava (second helping, please.) This was so good we'll be back later this week while spending time nearby!

My family and I dine at this family-owned establishment several times per week. The food is always fresh, wholesome and filling. The prices are more than fair, and you can tell that everything is made with heart! Our family loves this place.

Nice atmosphere in here and cozy. Didn't find the waitress to be very friendly/personable. Food was average to mediocre quality. Gyro meat seemed not very fresh, lacked flavor, and texture was off. I've had a better Gyro meal at a mall food court. My family has been to this place multiple times in recent years and the food just isn't outstanding- not horrible though.

So I’ve been wanting to try this place for a really long time. I finally ordered the Chicken Gyros (with fries as per their website menu) for pickup. Alyssa was super sweet when I ordered, at pickup, and actually through the whole experience. So when I picked up I asked for mayo & ranch (for the fries) and Alyssa politely obliged. When I got back to the office the fries for both orders were missing so I called back and was told they were out of fries. Okay, whatever - we were offered other sides (to come back and pick up, of course). We weren’t interested so I just asked for a partial refund since I paid over $30 for two meals … not sandwiches. I was told a server would have to do that. So a server comes to the phone and offered me a $2 refund. She says that’s the best she can do since sides are discounted with a meal. Okay, whatever, told her not to bother … So then I finally got to eat my lunch and the chicken is dry and flavorless. Honestly, I make better gyros at home myself. I won’t be bothering with this place again.

This restaurant is what I think a Greek family owned restaurant would be. The food is really good and the portions are huge. The waitress we usually get is outstanding. She thinks of things you need almost before you have time to think of it. I really recommend this restaurant. Go early. It gets busy.

Huge servings. The baklava is by far the best I've ever had.

The shared appetizer was good. The mousaka was not Greek. You don't put Italian marinara sauce on top of bechamel. The beef souvlaki tasted like liver.

Always good food & quick service . Recently had special BBQ pulled pork sandwich & it was LARGE . Enough for lunch the next day .

We absolutely love coming here to eat. The food is always great and very authentic. I always suggest to start with the red pepper dip or the dolmades as they are both very delicious. So many great things to choose from. Our waitress Hannah took awesome care of us. Make sure you get a piece of Baklava to go.

We enjoyed a fantastic grilled salmon lunch on a Sunday noon. It included a delicious cooked vegetable side of carrots, broccoli, and zucchini plus wonderful rice. It tasted homemade, just perfect. Nothing was over-salted or undercooked. Our server was friendly and kind. What a great place! Highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're hungry, get the roasted chicken. It's huge! The desserts alone should make it worth going here. Great service!

Had our daughter and son in law in town to visit, came here for dinner, they absolutely knocked it out of the park! The Calimari app was fried perfectly, the other apps were just as great. Also, my brother in law was with us, and he was very impressed. The entrees looked great, tasted even better, had a few selections off the dessert board, all were delicious. The service was spot on, and the pricing was a bargain for as great as the evening was. Bottom line, we will be back and bringing friends and family, my daughter already said they want to come back here in a few months, you folks do a great job, keep it up 👍👍👍

Very good Authentic Greek cuisine. Our favorite dish is the gyro platter and it's big enough to serve two. It also comes with a side Greek salad that is fresh and very good also. Service was excellent too. One of our go to restaurants when in the Fort Walton Beach area

Great Greek restaurant! The dressing on their Greek salads is really good. The wraps are also delicious, we’ve gotten the classic gyro meat, chicken, and falafel (the side of falafel is also amazing). Their baklava is to die for. This is one of our go-to places for eating out.

Great variety in The Aegean menu. I love the fish & homemade chips! The serving size was 2 filets. The serving sizes are all good size! The staff is friendly; family atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit!

This place has awesome Greek food, from the traditional Greek to the seafood options all make me want more. And Baklava is such a tasty dessert.

Stopped by for a quick dinner during a work trip. Got the gyro platter and it was outstanding. Great tasting lamb, large portion, pita was light and fluffy and it came with a delicious Greek salad. Great place to eat without having to drive all the way out to the island.

First and last time I come here! I was rushed out I just finish eating and was having a conversation with someone and I get asked not 2 mins after taking a bite and having this conversation comes and ask if I would like the check. Mind you I haven't even been in there more then 40 mins with waiting on food. I really was hoping it was going to ve great but to my surprise being Latino coming here was I guess a surprise for some as we were the only one asked for our check and everyone was still eating and here before me. Not nice at all to treat people like that. Do better!

Good food, friendly staff, short wait to be seated if not seated right away. I loved the Greek & Mediterranean salad with chicken or salmon, pita bread + dipping sauces. Their BLT on sourdough bread & Greek potatoes were also delicious. A little pricey so expect to spend $15 or more on lunch.

Best baklava I’ve had in a long time. Tasty yummy gyro & the wine was pretty good too. The service is relaxed & was lovely to chat with. Will be back again 👍

Gyros are excellent and good portion. Not a big fan of the french fries but there are other sides you can substitute. Always had good food here no matter what I order.

Went for the first time tonight with some local family friends and we are already looking forward to coming back next time we are in town! The food was fantastic…everything is homemade - we especially liked the Greek salad & dressing and the housemade baklava for dessert! Can’t wait to try more menu items on our next visit. Service was top notch - thank you, Maverick! Whether you are a local or visiting the area, you should definitely try this little gem of a family-owned and run restaurant!

Sometimes I just want something simple, yet always tasty for lunch or dinner. I count on Aegean for hot delicious food to satisfy my palate, portion, and budget! The yummy shrimp and fries is one dish that meets these criteria hands down. The cocktail sauce and tartar sauce is enough for the whole meal. Though not Mediterranean, it’s still an easy go-to treat!

Huge portions... enough for two meals. Terrific food. I had the mousaka, and the sauce was as close to my Italian great grandmothers as it gets. Service terrific. I've also had the lamb chops here and they are the best!

Food is very good. Serving size is big. Service was good, only bad thing was the air was not working good. I was comfortable because it wasn't freezing like some places.

Friendly staff but supremely inconsistent food. I've been many times and order the same thing, a gyro and Greek salad. Sometimes the salad is a nice blend of greens and very tasty but the last few times it's been browning iceberg and just pitiful. Tonight's gyro featured meat that was somehow both dry and greasy at the same time, served on a stale store-bought pita that was comically too small to actually hold anything. It's waaaay too pricey to be this inconsistent, won't return.

When walking in, you are met with enthusiasm and beautiful Greek music. The servers were ready to help in any way, and there are no delays in service. Now the food, the food is what makes this restaurant perfect. I had the grilled pork chops with veggies and French fries (didn’t want mash), and everything was juicy and perfectly cooked. The veggies were not soft and mushy or hard by any means and the pork chops were juicy and cooked to the perfect temp. 10 out of 10! This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be back!

With their diverse menu along with daily specials (marker board at door) it is very difficult to see how everyone can NOT find something on the menu that they want. This is the place where “ I did not not get enough food” has never been said. On many things consider splitting. Great service. Very good with large tables/groups.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Pastichio which comes with a Greek salad. Wholly cow, I got a 5x5" slab of pasta, sauce and bechamel cheese baked to perfection! Brought 3/4 home for dinner and lunch tomorrow. Great food, service was fabulous, fast and with a smile. You won't be disappointed....❣️😍
