Had awesome experience as me and my family and friends visited Ahanas july 5th we were welcomed by the very welcoming staff who even helped us make great choices on the menu as along the Food came out with good heat and portions .We ordered Chicken Tika Masala, Chicken biryani, Chicken Korma , Lamb Tika Masala, Lamb dhanshak, Eggplant and dal tadka Naan was the best oh and yes Samosas and onion bhaji were excellent We even ordered some dessert at the end and was mind blowing We all were very happy with the service food and atmosphere

Came in a few weeks ago, ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was a lot more bland than many others places i’ve been to. I frequently go out and eat Indian cuisine but this experience left me with no words. Not to mention the portions, although I was about satisfied with the amount of food, I wish there was a bit more rice to my 20$ dish. Sticking to Le Indya for now.

Walking into the joint made me feel uncertain-dingy surroundings with lots of hand made signs of why they weren’t doing this and that and that they charge gratuity, etc. weird atmosphere. Had I not been on a time crunch and not meeting a pal, I would’ve left. The prices are exorbitant for what is served. The food was tasteless-had to add salt which I never do. The Chicken Tikka Masala which the owner claimed they ‘sell a little of-is flying out of here’ had a weird tomato pasty sauce that didn’t seem Indian. When my friend was finished eating and I was still eating, a teenager with a cart came over and cleared our table. I noted to him that I WAS still eating; he continued to clear. It was 6:30 pm and there was 1 more table so it wasn’t as if they needed the table! Weird…then of course there was no one around to get a check to get to our meeting. I had to glad down someone in a hairnet from the kitchen to get a check. The owner came out and mentioned, by the way the 20% tip is already added. A joke. Total rip off. Don’t go. Go to Zorbas Greek just a few doors away where it’s at least dependable

We had the buffet - I have eaten Indian food all over the US. Sadly I have to say this was on the bottom of what I was expecting. No tandoori chicken, the nanna bread was made with white flour (the taste was not good) and a very small limited of choices The + the hostess was very inviting. The total damage for the Lunch buffet for 2+ 1 ice tea over $60.00 BTW they charge 20% mandatory tip (they did have it posted on the front door)

The food was good, and the waiters were friendly. At the door I had read the sign that said that there was a mandatory 20% service fee. I had said to myself, well if the food and service are good, I have no problem with this mandatory tip. To my surprise, when the check arrived, there was a blank space at the bottom for "tip." Are you kidding me? Next time I will go to Culver's and get the same fish and chips for 3 times less money.

This was my first time trying Indian food, and it didn’t disappoint. I got the lentils with grilled onion and rice, it was flavorful, and the Naan was perfect. The owner was friendly and very sweet. I will definitely be back.

I highly recommend Ahana’s to anyone interested in a true authentic Indian cuisine. Very comfortable atmosphere great for family or for date night. The butter chicken meal was so good I ate two all to myself. Will definetly come back!

Got here maybe 10min before they close after a long day at work. My wife and I are vegan and this place is vegan heaven. Had an absolutely delicious chickpea curry. The naan bread to top it off. Just great food and especially great atmosphere. The owner personally brought us the food he cooked himself and made sure everything was up to par. After we ate we chatted for about half an hour with him and found that he too recently went vegan and about the spiritual practices in India. Very fun experience!

We stopped for dinner after a day of hiking while on vacation. The meal was exceptional. The service was very friendly. We will return again when in the area.

My husband and I visited this beautiful place. We were greeted by the owner, and she was extremely professional and courteous. We ordered chaat, which was delicious. We ordered chicken Korma. It was not up to par. We also ordered lamb biryani. Besides being very oily, the flavors were impeccable. Then we ordered chai, which was not available, nor was the rus Malai. Instead, we got the Matqa kulfi. We thought it would come in a clay pot, but it was served on a plate. It was a bit crystallized but great flavor. I also ordered Nescafe, expecting it to be Dalgona or beaten coffee, but instead, it was black coffee with the side of cream. Overall, the owner made it into a great experience for us.

We found this place on our vacation and went back a second time! Great atmosphere, real ingredients, and friendly service.

This was such a a good restaurant! I loved the paneer tiki masala. I was glad to see there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The servers were so friendly. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

This business was very accommodating for my dietary restrictions. I am vegan/gf and have a garlic allergy. The food is fresh made to order and the cook will use your likes and dislikes. I had the aloo gobi (cauliflower potatoes and tomatoes), the recommended dish from my vegan cook. The carrot halva was exceptional. Amazing service and friendly staff. A gem for the vegans out there

I felt for the price the portions were quite small. I also did not like that a 20% is automatically added. I have no issue with tipping 20% but do not like that it is added automatically. Food was good

So here I am in Naples and wondering where should my next meal come from. Lot of restaurants claim "Bombay" (my native) in their name but have nothing Bombay about it. So here for me taking another chance with Ahana's. One of my best chance I have ever taken. Truly impressed , who knew the best Naan i have had in Indian restaurant will be in NAPLES, FL. Very impressed with culinary skills and ambience doesn't disappoint either. Tucked in picturesque city of Bonita springs, this place is worth every penny.

Our family had such an awesome dinner - chicken korma, lamb saag, biryani, shrimp curry, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, and the owner who staffed our table was incredibly sweet. Will be back ☺️

I had a mango lasi which was very good. they brought two different gluten free options to substitute man bread truly delicious and light. We had vegetarian somosas, light and were the best one yet. Lentil soup out of this world. Tika masala lighter and not as sweet as other restaurants. We will be back.

Worst food and worst service I have experienced in USA. We ordered Madras chicken that lacked flavor and the chicken pakora was uncooked. Additionally, Chicken dum biryani they served was worst🙏🙏

Worst food and worst service ever. Ordered chicken pakora, chicken tikka kebab, butter naan’s and chicken tikka masala. Chicken pakora- Uncooked chicken had to ask the server to cook it again and food never came back. Chicken tikka Kebab- 0/5 server came after 30mins and said some issue with clay pot and They can’t serve it. Butter Naan’s - 2.5/5 they are decent but lil over burnt. Chicken tikka masala - 1/5 very expensive 20$ for a small cup of curry which wasn’t even full and very oily. After a hectic day we visited the restaurant and food was very bad and on top of it they charged 20% tip without our consent. Won't revisit due to terrible food, management, and unauthorized charges.

Dined at Ahana on Nov 12, 2023 with a friend. The service was wonderful, informative and attentive. the food was delicious. I ordered 2 vegan dishes and my friend ordered Pad thai. the eggplant dish was full of flavor, but a bit too oily. the cabbage dish was very tasty. what is the secret sauce? we look forward to returning.

We were delighted to stumble on this modest little restaurant for the best Indian food we’ve had in the Naples-Bonita area. The chicken saag was especially good, as were the samosas and garlic naan. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I was drawn in by the fish and chips signs but I was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly greeting and immediate offer of a glass of water. Apparently an Indian tradition. On the recommendation of a local woman, who was waiting for her take out, I ordered the Chicken Saag and garlic naan...turned out to be very good. Ty 😉 The fish and chips wasn't bad either. Will be back one day.

Wow! The food here was absolutely delicious.

The restaurant has seating for 41 making the experience intimate and charming . The music on video added to the ambiance. The staff was welcoming and friendly. If you love curry this is a must. Beer and wine only but the wine adds to the experience. A must do!

What an excellent restaurant. We come here whenever we are in Florida, and the food is always excellent. We have been coming for several years and the owners always remember us. Recommend the butter chicken and naan, as well as the palak paneer, but truly you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Very friendly small business owners, take the time to help you order and check on you. The lamb roganjosh was good, and the mango lassi with fresh local mangos was the best I've ever had! Worth the treat!

Food not fresh, not induan tasty lack infuan seasoning. cooked tomatoes need cut with knife! Lamp shank very expensive for large bone with little meat on it. Naan not soft tasted like chips.

Ahana’s Bombay Grille. A little gem in Bonita Springs, this brilliant Indian restaurant serves traditional, fresh, home made Bombay style fare. We started with some delicious vegetarian appetisers; golden Onion Bhajis, crispy Paneer Pakoras, and Chaat Papdi-a dish of spicy chick peas and potatoes on tortillas drizzled with refreshing yogurt. The main courses were also excellent; Palak Paneer in a rich spinach sauce, a chef’s special of Bombay Style Fish Curry, and a terrific Chicken Bhuna. It’s not on the menu but just ask-owner and chef Nitin will be happy to make it for you! All accompanied by pilau rice, crispy garlic naan, and a perfumed, sweet “Mukhwas style” post-meal mouth freshener, this was superb, authentic Indian cuisine freshly made with fragrant herbs and spices and locally sourced produce.

Had a nice chat with the owner when I stopped here to eat dinner this week. They really pride themselves in authentic and healthy Indian cuisine. Such a great experience, it felt like I was having dinner in a friends dining room.

If Google allowed me to put zero stars, I would. I am completely disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered one Chicken Tikka Masala, one Lamb Biriyani, and two Chicken Biriyanis, and every one of them was horrible. Every dish felt that it lacked spice and honestly salt too. They had no flavor at all and in my eyes do not deserve to be called Indian cuisine. Not only that, but every dish lacked meat. The biriyanis shouldn't be called "Chicken" or "Lamb" biriyani if you are just going to throw two tiny, tiny pieces of meat into some unseasoned rice. The Chicken Tikka too, lacked chicken, and desperately needed salt. Furthermore, the dishes are way overpriced for the quality of the food. I spent almost 100 dollars. Later, I called the restaurant in hopes of some sort of reimbursement for my poor experience, but the customer service did absolutely nothing. They led me on a wild goose chase when I tried to reach the manager of the restaurant and when I finally managed to speak with her she raised her voice in an awfully rude manner, kept interrupting me, and hung up in the middle of when I was trying to say something. I hope this review prompts the restaurant to improve their food quality and customer service. But until then, I would not at all recommend this restaurant. 0/10.

We love Indian food, and this was a treat. It really felt like we were invited over for dinner to a friend's house. The food was great, and the folks who own the place provide sustenance for both your body and your spirit. Definitely stop by and say hi.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant with food prepared and cooked in the traditional way. All ingredients are fresh and cooked while you sample the delicious kingfisher beer, imported from india. Being a vegan, I find it difficult to eat healthy food in the U.S. this restaurant checked all the boxes, and we had personal service from the chef, too. I would definitely reccommend this cosy place.

Just finished eating and got dessert, the food was awesome, the desserts hit the spot and the waitress was super nice. Definitely reccomend if you're out to have some good food. Also super vegetarian friendly if that's your prerogative.

Unfortunately without tasting their food im giving them 1star bcoz, it was closed but on the website, they said they r open. So we went there and the door was closed. We went from very far and kids were hungry too. It was disappointing. I hope they will take care of that. Hope the food is good though!

We had the place to ourselves. It was a unusually slow night. Our server-Owner, Jessi, was super friendly and attentive. She explained so many things to us. I tend to stick to the yogurt-based meals, Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. My date is lactose intolerant, and X suggested Chicken Korma. It was great. This was my date's first attempt at Indian food. She really liked it. We had the garlic naan and for appetizer we had Onion Bhajji, both delicious. We also had Flying Horse beer. Excellent. They gave us a range of sauces, from sweet to spicy. This is a scratch kitchen. Nothing is prepared in advance.

Pretty disappointed. Eggplant Masala very oily no flavor. Aloo gobi very little flavor also very oily. Garlic naan ok good but not much garlic. Samosa was the best part, very average.

This is our third time visiting Ahana's Bombay Grille and we have never been disappointed. In our last two visits we have had the Chicken/Lamb Korma, the garlic naan, Josh Rogan, Bombay style Shrimp Curry, onion Bhajji and samosas. Amazing! One of us likes medium to hot spice level the other likes only a little. The food is FULL of flavor no matter the spice level! What more can you ask for?! The service is great - very attentive, always with a smile and the staff are more than willing to answer questions about the menu. Can't wait to go back again.

We recently visited this place with a few friends based on recommendation. The hostess seemed very nice and welcoming, we ordered multiple varieties of Appetizer (Samosa, Onion Fritters, Chat Papdi), Soup (Lentil Soup and Tomato Shorba) and few entrees of both Veg. and with Meat followed by Dessert (Kulfi and Rasmalai). Everyone enjoyed the food. Loved the service, overall food and our friends loved it too.

A friendly warm greeting as we entered the restaurant set the stage for a wonderful culinary experience. Interesting Indian ambiance combined with an excellent menu will not disappoint you. All of our menu selections were prepared perfectly. Being vegan, I was pleased to see all the menu options available for my needs and plan to return regularly. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Authentic, tasty and delightful. Staff was terrific with suggestions and offering to correct anything we needed (we didn't). Husband has been to India and compared the authenticity of the dishes and hospitality! I was incredibly hesitant at first, not an Indian food lover. Hubby talked me into going for dinner (after seeing great reviews) and I'm SO glad that he did. We loved both of our meals and will definitely return. (In-house menu has explanatory descriptions of ingredients which helped me SO MUCH.) In-house dining is a wonderful experience and suggested. Even the plates and dishes they use for serving are authentic! Thank you, Ahana's.

I travelled in India quite a bit being invited to their best restaurants ans I was stunned Hunter quality of the food here. I never gave a five rating for a restaurant but this chef has something of a genius. Not simply a great restaurant , but the best food Obias in any restaurant around Naples I have yet tasted. Yes, the restaurant looks like a mom and pop place but the food … everything tastes so fresh and a bit different and he can make it as hot or as mild as you want. A hidden treasure!

Just had a wonderful dinner at Ahana's. Chicken vindaloo, onion fritters, okra and addicting Naan bread! Host chef and his hostess wife are welcoming and delightful. Fresh, well seasoned and one of the best meals we have had in the past several months. Must go back again and again. The owners have two dogs and told us ok to bring our well behaved pooch for our next meal set up on their sidewalk. Highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarian and gluten free diets, and for flavorful spicey or non spicey taste buds.
