An extensive menu where any fan of Sushi will find something to their liking. Service was fast and friendly with the server checking up on us multiple times during our meal. The atmosphere was down to earth and the restaurant was full of people having good food and good conversation. Highly recommend!

This is my go-to sushi place. Amazing staff, and amazing food. The sushi and sushimi are unbelievably delicious, always fresh, and the slices are huge! Best tempura veggies I have ever had, and my husband lives for the filet mignon and shrimp hibachi.

Great sushi, great prices, and great service at this modest restaurant. Get tasty traditional sushi, but don't miss out on their many riceless rolls. And the super tasty house salad dressing!! I'll die figuring out how they make it.

Ordered to-go beforehand; was told to pick up at 6:50pm. It wasn't ready until 7:15pm, and they left it sitting there for 5 minutes, knowing we were waiting and had been waiting. Food was good, but a couple of rolls fell apart.

We love Ahoyama Sushi in Hurst. They have the freshest fish and friendliest service, tempura is always consistent. My wife and I always laugh when visiting other sushi places, comparing it to our favorite. Best sushi bar in the area.

The sushi here is amazing and the staff is incredible! Kim is a riot! I have *never* had a bad sushi roll here. I only wish they stayed open later because oftentimes I go with my friends when they get off work. Wasabi roll, sashimi, Ahoyama roll... So many good ones here. After ten years, this is still my favorite spot for sushi. Consistently amazing quality and flavor every time. The most consistent I have experienced.

I usually get my food to go because it’s good but the atmosphere and service are meh. The restaurant definitely has its regular dine in customers who don’t mind the sticky floors amd tables , odd dining table set up and dirty entrance rugs.

I just started working in this area and really enjoy this place. I look forward to trying more of the menu. The bento box gives you plenty. The takoyaki was really good, and the sushi was oishii. I like the atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Classic Japanese sushi restaurant with excellent flavor and freshness. I just returned from Japan and this lovely place took me right back there. The atmosphere was just like you'd find in the old country. Even the sencha green tea was perfectly brewed.

We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Awesome! I had the teriyaki chicken bento box. Really Good! And so much food. My wife had the shrimp and veggie tempura. After the appetizer, salad, miso soup she had to take half of it to go. Excellent service!!!

My first time dining here. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the service was very fast. I ordered a cucumber salad, the stuffed mushroom appetizer, and the California roll. The cucumber salad came with shredded crab mixed in, and the dressing tangy sweet but with a little spicy kick on the back end. If you order the stuffed mushroom appetizer, I recommend sharing it with others as it is a good sized appetizer. This place has relaxing interior decor, so I never felt rushed to dine and run. Please come visit Ahoyama and enjoy their sushi art!

Pros: The waitress was very nice, accommodating, prompt, and attentive The menu had a wide variety of items to choose from The restaurant was clean and there was no wait to be seated Plenty of parking available Cons: My meal, the chicken yakisoba, was very bland. It had no flavor and was not enjoyable to eat. I think the others in my party might have enjoyed their food, but I sadly didn’t.

Delicious little spot we found!! We tried the Hawaiian Roll (SO GOOD, ponzu was delicious), Salmon Skin, Crispy Rice with spicy tuna, and some nigiri. The nigiri was absolutely amazing. We tried the spicy scallop, peppercorn tuna, mackerel, and freshwater eel. Atmosphere was cute, a darker ambiance, which I loved. Server was attentive and didn’t forget our extra sauces which was a nice touch as always.

Quality sushi that was surprisingly affordable. I'm sure we'll be back.

Solid spot for some sushi and Japanese food near Colleyville. Modest interior designs and friendly workers. Modest and not ostentatious.

The food was great, and the portions were pretty large. My only complaint is that the staff was a little over attentive - we were trying to have a conversation and kept getting interrupted every couple of minutes with a "how is everything", even when we were clearly in the middle of a discussion. But the food was worth coming back for!

This is a great place to have dinner at. Sushi rolls are fresh and very delicious. Very reasonsbly priced too. The servers are polite and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful.

I love Ahoyama. The sushi is fresh and has great marbling. Also given the quality, the price is so good. The service is spectacular and even though the place gets quite busy, the food comes out quite quickly. If it's your first time I'd recommend the sushi and sashimi bento box. Has a ton of food and really gives you a good sampler of the fresh fish options they got going on. It also comes with a salad and miso soup which are both good. Note that this place has limited alcohol options but regardless is fantastic.

We absolutely love their rolls! Whenever we want some sushi, we go here for a takeaway. Normally we get between two or three rolls for the two of us. The ingredients are super fresh and very tasty, with a super friendly service. Best sushi place in the neighbourhood and beyond.

Love, love, love this gem of a local restaurant! The food is always fresh and expertly prepared. The prices are also good for the quality of food they provide. Take out food we have ordered in the past was really good, too.

Shushi was really good, miso soap Luke warm and not good at all, service was terrible Our waiter seemed offended when asked to warm up the soap and had a general not pleasant attitude

This place has great Bento Boxes! I love to have a variety and it's like having a 7 course meal. What I especially like is that they offer Bento Boxes anytime, including dinner!

I ordered the yakisoba and it had Nooooooo flavor whatsoever. Maybe it’s because all of the sauce dropped outside of the bag? Idk but it was also cold even though we got there when they told us the food would be ready. The sushi was ugly but my boyfriend liked it. We won’t be back since it was mediocre.

The fried rice and noodles were sub-par. The New Orleans roll was bland. The udon soup was good. The waiter frowned at the tip I gave her.

Ahoyama is our favorite date-night restaurant ... we're so lucky to have it just minutes from our house! This is a great, family-owned Japanese place that has reliably awesome sushi. They do a KILLER business with takeout, but we love going and sitting at the bar with warm sake. Great prices. Great service. I love spending money at this business!

Excellent! Small Japanese restaurant with multiple options for great and fresh sushi. Also some hibachi meals and bento boxes that are well priced for the food you get. The flavors and experience from my visit will definitely be bringing me back.

4.5 --- way better than the typical strip mall sushi places. I thought all of the fish was good quality save the tuna, which was a little 'frozen'. Excellent preparation & presentation, quick service, clean and even has a small patio out front. The miso soup with mushrooms & clams was a pleasant surprise. Will come back.

This is one of the best Sushi restaurants I've been to. The staff is welcoming. The fish and food is fresh. The establishment has a great Japanese décor and ambiance. Ahoyama provides the usual Sushi, Bento box and assorted menu offerings found at all the Good Sushi restaurants. What sets Ahoyama and the very best Sushi restaurants apart (for myself anyway) is the specialty offerings. They have some really amazing unique offerings like the Mango Salmon roll, Baked Salmon roll, Caribbean roll and others that set apart their artistry from other Sushi places. If you are a Sushi fan this is a must visit restaurant.

Everything is fresh. Even the crab salad California roll is made with real crab, not imitation. Lunch is a bargain here. Ordered the sushi and sashimi bento which also includes miso soup and salad, served generously and almost a lunch on its own.

This place is excellent. I’ve frequent this place for lunch several times a month. They offer lunch specials on sushi and bento boxes. The spicy pork bento is real tasty. They also have some kind of amazing salad dressing on their house salads. I honestly keep coming back for that. Strongly recommend this place.

So. Much. Sushi! My son and I ordered the Ahoyama Chef's choice sushi. There was so much we couldn't eat it all. What we did eat was delicious! We didn't get a rundown of everything we got so I was a little in the dark on what some of the items were. But, that didn't keep them from being amazing! If you like sushi you'll love Ahoyama!

Over all the food was good. I mistakenly ordered the butterfly kisses roll and even though I hate salmon I loved this roll it was wrapped in salmon and super delicious. I was however disappointed in the spider roll it actually tasted a little burnt.

The sushi rolls were not roiled up very tight they kept falling apart.
