Came across this while in Westgate. We got a quesadilla and the AJ’s combo. Both were very good even after driving 25 min home to eat it. They have a few out door tables if you want to eat outside the truck. Food took about 10 min to come out. If you’re over here it’s a most go spot!

Best tacos in Columbus Shrimp were our fav. Perfectly grilled corn based tortilla, perfectly balanced with sweet grilled shrimp, and creamy chipotle sauce. Top off with an avocado and cut with lime, cilantro and cheese. A sublime 3 bite extravaganza that will leave your mouth watering for more. Birra also on point! Def get with consume. Enjoy you lucky first timers Atmosphere: sits next to a coffee shop, so seating retail limited to maybe 15-20 tops. Plenty of easy parking space though. We came when a blue grass band was playing outdoors. Take that for a vibe

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint. The street tacos and burrito were delicious. Both the chicken and beef were tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Salsa served on the side was very yummy. Definitely a must try!

This is hands down my favorite food truck in Columbus.

There's not one thing on the menu that's not absolutely delicious! My husband & I have been customers for years! love the new food truck location because you can sit at the picnic table and eat the delicious food as soon as you receive it😋 Excited about the new kitchen spot too! The Esquite, Quesabirria, Ramen, Sliders, grill cheese, Mulitas, cali style steak taco & consumme are some favorites of ours! There are no bad choices on the menu

I tell one thing, this food is sooo good. Not my type of food that i would go and eat every week, that my brain needs in order to perform its best as the flavor i know and grew up with different. But it was delicious. It was more like come and try food for me that i have been searching for long time because of my dietary restrictions. So my tummy was happy and got one more checkpoint done in my try world cuisine list. Price is very reasonable for the food they offer. The place is very nice, in a cute corner of busy road, loved wall prints and of course the van was very clean inside and i did not feel any sneaky smell around it. Good job, people, you are doing great !!

Omgeeee!! I’m a trucker so I had to order door dash. I’m sooo glad I decided on this restaurant. The tacos are amazing! I had the steak/shrimp, and the chicken street tacos, as well as the AJ’s combo. My my my is all I can say lol. They are all flavorful, and they aren’t at all stingy with the meats. I will absolutely order every time I’m in Columbus! Thank you!

This is one my favorite taco spots in the city, they have CHICKEN birria tacos, SHRIMP tacos and plenty other options that I haven’t got to try yet because the chicken tacos are so good and hefty they got me hooked. These chicken tacos are fat! The price is very reasonable and they give out buzzers to alert you when your order is done, 10 mins usually. I go here once a week at least if I can get out of work in time. They moved closer to my job so I’m happy with the new location.

Everything I've ever had here has been bangin'! My favorites being the Birria ramen paired with the Birria grilled cheese! You've had something so good!!

Amazing food and family. Food is worth the 40+ minute drive from where I live when I'm having cravings. Even more excited for their new location! One of my favorite taco spots and coffee spots.

Great tacos, great owners, very active on Facebook announcing the hours they are open. They recently had to move locations unexpectedly due to no fault of their own. This is a very popular food truck. I'm sure the people leaving bad reviews complain about everything, ignore them.

I have never had an experience here that has been less than stellar. On their busiest day, the two person team always greets me with a smile and gets my order together as quick as possible. The food is excellent and I tell everyone that I know to try them out. So glad that they were able to find a spot just a bit away from the original place, that pulled out from under them with no notice, so quickly.

Love this place. I’ve had the Birria Tacos, Street Tacos, and Tostadas. Their food is always hot, and ingredients are fresh tasting. Customer service is awesome. The wait can be a little long on some days but only because they are pretty popular.

Food was amazing. Was in a very sketchy location. There was also lots of potholes so be safe driving in. There was also lack of seating. This is definitely a place to pick up your food and leave. Definitely some of the best Birria tacos. They were also out of elote.

I've had many, MANY quesabirrias in Ohio, and this is one of my top picks! I just had it for the first time today and I'm hooked. Cute little food truck, super friendly workers, gave me a little buzzer to hold in my car that would make a sound when my food was ready. Their birria and consome is SO delicious. I could drink 5 gallons of that consome 😂 highly, HIGHLY recommend. Also, random, but they put their consome in a small container and inside the box with the birria. It keeps it in place, and I think it would make it much harder to bust open (as I've had other places packaging burst many times), so I really appreciate the containers/packaging because it kept stuff NOT messy and saved me lots if tasty consome, haha. The only thing is the food tastes quite salty (which I LOVE), but maybe folks with sodium/blood pressure issues should just be aware and be careful. I'm so impressed by the flavor they packed into their food! 10/10

This was a food truck and not open 😞 I checked before driving 30 minutes out of our way to go there. My boyfriend was hangry. We have been looking all over the country for the best birria. They updated their hours on Google since my review so I made it a 5 star for doing that to help out other potential customers. That was nice of them. 😊 Their food looks amazing on Google maps.

Quesabirria tacos and consome is the best I've had out of all the other mexican restaurants. My son loves the birria noodles.

Best HALAL birria Tacos in Columbus!! Would absolutely recommend. They have a wide menu with plenty of halal food options.

I LOVE AJ's!!! Everything on the menu is fantastic. ALWAYS fresh, ALWAYS great service, ALWAYS accurate with my order, ALWAYS consistent. My only complaint is they aren't always open. I call ahead and my order is ready when I get there and always still hot by the time I get home. Other taco places just can't compare.

First time at AJs did not disappoint! $3 shrimp tacos were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! They diced the shrimp before cooking and it made it much easier to eat without the taco falling apart! Cannot wait to go back!! Also should note, I ate after a 15 minute drive home and they were still fresh and amazing!

So I had literally the best tacos I've had in years here on Saturday it came with a dipping juice the taco melted into the cheese with a nice crunch yet not too bad it was perfect and I don't say that lightly as a foodie highly recommend give them your business drive a few extra miles for it

Had a shrimp street taco and 2 traditional beef birria tacos consome and the chocolate tres leche cake. When I say this place is amazing it's Amazing. The flavor is amazing the tacos are perfectly crisp the salsa is great and they take Google pay. They stuffed my shrimp taco with small shrimp and it was so delicious and flavorful. The tres leche cake is unique and delicious and perfectly moist. I got 6 tacos 2 consumes and the tres leche cake and spent roughly 26$

First let me say the woman who answered the phone was absolutely wonderful. She recommended a few menu items that were popular and allowed me to choose while being patient. I grabbed the birria tacos with the consome on the side and their esquite de birria. The birria tacos had immense flavor without being too salty. The meat was tender and had a great pull with the cheese especially dipping in the consome. The broth contained crunchy diced onions and the cilantro had a bright green firmness to it with small shreds of meat. The corn tortillas were crunchy and perfectly cooked. My favorite was the over cooked cheese around the tortillas. The esquite was delicious as well. The creaminess of the queso and mayo rounded out the sweet corn and spiciness of the meat. The components paired perfectly together to create a bite that kept you wanting more. I give 10/10 fantastic meal and very efficient.

This little food truck has and serves the most flavorful, most delicious, crunchy, crispy, and just perfect Birria and consume in Columbus. I eat here several times a week and have for over a year now, and they never disappoint. Always, fresh, hot, and quality. They have several options for Birria, including Quesabirria, with meat choices of chicken, beef, shrimp, and steak Birria, and you can get those options on their steet tacos too as well as many more options on the menu. The customer service is always top tier, always so friendly, helpful, and nice, and their pricing is fair as well. I have eaten at several other Birria restaurants, and while they are good AJ’s is just the best, and I absolutely love this place. They even have Tres Leches cakes and horchata drinks that are incredible.

Good stuff. Had quesadillabarria and barrilla taco. Both beef. They were great. Will stop again We went to AJs Tacos on the hunt for birria. Is a food truck outside the Keg Room bar facing Florence Ave coming from casino. If you miss it speedway is right after. Turn right there and backtrack a block bring u to it Worth the stop. I liked the consommé to dip as well. Like a small soup worth.
