One of the best Lebanese restaurants I have ever tried. Stuff is so friendly. Food is yummy especially the meat. They don’t use too much spices, so you feel the quality of the meat. Definitely will try it again next time I visit Boston.

Found this place after we arrived in town late and were starving. Even though there was a note on the door saying they were short staffed, we were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Our server, Kate, made some recommendations since it was our first time trying Lebanese food. Everything was AMAZING! I only wish we had had room for dessert. If we ever head back this way we will absolutely visit again. Thanks to the staff for welcoming and taking care of us after a long drive.

Very nice, authentic restaurant. Probably some of the better hummus I've had in the Boston area in the past 10 years. Flavorful food, as it should be, with bold Mediterranean spices. Very attentive service. Food came out fast. We'll definitely be back!

The kebab had a very bad texture, was tough, and didn’t taste very good. The stuffed grape leaves (dolmas) weren’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend them.

Al Wadi deserves to be more popular. I don’t write google reviews often, so for the restaurant to have spurred me to do so speaks to its place in my heart (as one of my favorites) The food is amazing. I had never had many of these dishes prior to trying the restaurant, but my family and I frequently crave their food so desperately that we make the 30 minute drive over from where we live. Our favorite is the Warak Enab with meat. We often order two or three, and when we eat there in person we get an extra “to-go” order of it at the end of the meal. I will describe the food as very citrus forward, with lots of other flavors from spice mixes and garlic. I personally love citrus and garlic, so this makes it one of my favorite restaurants. Despite being heavy on those flavors however, the food is not one note. There is a lot of depth to the flavors. Today, I came here around 4:30 on a Sunday, and it was empty. Despite the lack of patrons, the interior design, music choices, and friendly staff made the atmosphere welcoming and entitle. The other time I came here was a Friday night, and they had a few more diners. Despite the sign posted requesting patience for being short staffed, both nights yielded excellent service. I also order takeout and delivery food from here frequently. The food reheats really well in a microwave or oven, so when there’s leftovers, everything gets eaten. I will say, the restaurant is a bit chilly. I don’t mind it in a tee shirt, but if you run cold bring an extra layer

A beautiful restaurant with amazing service and some of the best food I've ever had!

Just by chance found this restaurant- turned out to be an excellent meal.

Went on 6/19, a wednesday. Sign says they were short staffed, but the wait honestly didn't bother us at all. Our server Kevin was great. And the ambiance was great. The food just honestly missed the mark on quite a few levels. Got the veggie combo platter for two, labneh, & fries. Tahini sauce was inedibly salty (and we have pretty high salt tolerances). The hummus and babaganoush were very good, but everything else on the veggie platter seemed to be frozen & fried (and doughy / undercooked). I'll admit that we didn't order their main meat dishes, which presumably could have been more impressive.

My sisters and I just ate at Al Wadi and we were very disheartened to learn that an establishment such as this does not consider their main demographic by offering a prayer area. There are so many restaurants that can serve alcohol but not very many that will offer a prayer room. The servers and the host were amazing. The owner should be ashamed that her workers who also seem to be Muslim are not provided that consideration. Above all, you can see there is no blessing in their business as the dining hall was practically empty, meanwhile I have gone to so many Middle Eastern restaurants that offer food and prayer area and they are always packed. It’s not alcohol that will give you blessings. Perhaps if you make a prayer area you may get more blessings and further your success in this business. Above was my initial review to which I was responded by I should be reviewing the food and the experience. The food was definitely sub par. I have definitely eaten far better middle eastern food very close to this restaurant. The experience was definitely disheartening considering they gave no importance to their main demographic which prays. Like I said earlier, the servers and staff were great. You definitely don’t feel the roots of the heritage to which the food represents. No culture was present.

We used Al Wadi to cater a party. Nadine was so wonderful to work with. She was flexible, helpful, and right on target with the amount of food needed as well as the selection of food. The food was nicely presented and delivered hot. Everyone enjoyed all of the options, especially the people who are gluten free/vegan as they had so many choices. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for making the party planning so easy! I would highly recommend Al Wadi!

We went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very nice and later they had music and a belly dancer. The food was fantastic and they explained anything we were unsure of. Would highly recommend and plan to go back.

We were greeted with friendly service and a rose for Mother's Day before we were even seated. All the staff was courteous and it didn't take long for our order to come. We had the (vegetarian) Sampler Plate - the Baba Ganoush was *outstanding*, especially on fresh-baked pita. We worked on that a while before our lamb chops came. They were cooked (medium rare) and salted to perfection! And they came with delicious, savory rice. We were too full for dessert, though. Next time, for sure.

Stopped by here for take out. Food was excellent across the board -- had a variety of dishes (salads, sides, various meats). Will definitely go back and have dinner there -- the dining room was a little dark but looked very comfortable.

This place has really good Lebanese food and i enjoyed my dinner last night. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted authentic. However, our server (Karen/Katherine) was rude and unpleasant to deal with. While taking our order one of us decided to switch an almaza for a red wine and she flat out said no. Besides this incident everyone else was lovely :)

The staff make the place. We have eaten here multiple times and the food is always delicious. The raw lamb is a family favorite. The hummus is consistently delicious and the cauliflower is great when you eat in the restaurant as it’s best served hot. We had a small pickup order mixup once and they went over the top to make it right. Love the decor/atmosphere and family restaurant vibes.

Authentic food and nice ambiance!

Alwadi has Real authentic Lebanese food. They have the best Mejadara in Massachusetts. The grilled beef and chicken are so delicious, perfectly cooked and well marinated. They have a variety of Lebanese dishes, great for vegetarian people. Their Hummus is a must!! The owner Nadine is such a sweet person who’s always there for good recommendations!

Delicious Middle Eastern food — heavenly taboulé and falafels !!!, great choices of music and always perfect service — with care and advices, from Shakeep.

Booked a large group event of 20+ people for Ramadan iftaar. They knew it was an iftaar beforehand. When some of us tried to pray individually after breaking our fast, instead of accommodating us with a small corner, they told us to stop. Very disrespectful. Half the restaurant was empty anyways. What a joke as a restaurant that serves “halal” food. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Our family keeps an “Ethnic Cuisine Bucket List” that’s going to be harder to complete, now that we’ve found Al Wadi. We drove 25 miles to check it out, and we cannot wait to come back. We had the mezza sampler platter (beautiful and fresh), and Shakeeb, our attentive server, made sure we ordered well, “but not too well!” Magnificent lamb shank, tabouli, and eggplant stew. Actual quote from our 12-year-old: “There’s going to be a ‘next time,’ right dad?” There most certainly will! Did I mention they have parking, too? Five stars, all the way.

This place is amazing I am coming back great portions and interesting menu. Loved the cauliflower and dessert the best.

Best food in Boston. I would go times and times again.

Authentic, delicious, Lebanese cuisine from a family-owned local business. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with comfortable themes and beautifully detailed lamps. More frequently, we use their catering services for parties in our home. Recently, Nadine helped recommend, then beautifully arrange, food for a 16 person party in our home. Delicious chicken and beef kabobs, rice, pita, salad, hummus, falafel, tahini, labneh, baba, and grape leaves. Upon entering our home, our guests took in the amazing smells and reminded us how much they loved our last get together, where we also served Al-Wadi. I highly recommend their tasty family establishment.

I had lamb kebab, medium well, on rice pilaf. The dish was done to perfection. The meat was really tender and flavorful. The rice pilaf was perfectly done.

Very lovely atmosphere and nice service. I ordered a mixed grill platter. It included beef kebab, chicken kebab, and kafta kebab. The food quality is good and above ok but not excellent. I do not recommend the beef kebab. The portion is large. The food came with a side salad, which was very good.

Not too good. I was hoping to find more hospitality and greetings from the owner. He looked at us without greeting us ; his wife not even a smile. Racist behavior....I won't go back again; I would rather spend my money with nice people who won't judge others according to their physical appearance or ethnicity. That's so shameful... However, the daughter was so nice and respectful . Thank you my dear for being so friendly. Thank you Nadine for your positive attitude. Much appreciated. ( I was also asked to sit on a patched bench, I don't know why ...I didn't want to mention it but I think couple of things need to be taken into consideration, though) Best of luck.

Our server Sylvia is exceptional. She's friendly and always has a smile. She recommended a few choices that I wasn't sure about, but this turned out to be really good. The atmosphere is quite romantic, not crowded, and clean. There is plenty of parking in the back as well as the front of the establishment. The food is great! I recommend this place for those who have adventurous palate. Ask for Sylvia. She'll make your dining experience awesome.

Al Wadi does not fail to impress! There is a beautiful dining atmosphere with attentive staff and delicious food. The Manager sat us in a nice corner booth with gorgeous pillows and closed the blinds so the sun was not in our eyes. Our beautiful waitress was highly attentive and helped with any questions. They make sure not to rush you out the door which I really appreciate. The food was executed with precision and with a lot of love. We ordered some dishes we were already familiar, but new ones as well. It felt as though someone had invited me into their home for an exceptional dining experience! I made sure to grab some baklava to go!

I have never had middle Eastern food. I've had 2 different entrees now. The food is cooked well and seasoned perfectly. I had a rice dish and it was wonderful, so many flavors in one dish. The meat is very good also. I had fish and it was cooked perfectly. A lot of times fish is rubbery when baked but this was not. The portion sizes are generous. The inside of the restaurant is lovely as well. Would definitely eat here again.

Beautifully decored restaurant. Would be nice for a special occasion dinner. We went for Sunday lunch. I'm familiar with Arab/Libanese food and I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted! Ordered some of my favorties: kibbe, hummus, sfiha and mdardara. Also ordered baklava for dessert. Everything was so flavorful! We were satisfied after all the appetizers and ended up not getting any entrees, but will definitely be coming back to try them. Service was delightful! This restaurant deserves a higher rating.

I am a person with a Lebanese heritage. This is the first time at all wadi. The food was outstanding!!!!!! Kate was our server and she was fabulous. The atmosphere was very middle eastern. Can't wait to go again. Thank you Kate

There were 4 of us. We ordered a steak plate, a mixed mix meat plate and 2 lamb plates. Apps where pita bread and humus and some type of chips Lamb was as small as a chicken drum stick,with no good flavor and a bit tough. The beef and chicken were overcooked and chewy as hell. Humus, steamed veggies and Tahini were good, so not all bad. Tips were mandatory and 20% was automatically added. Price were very high. Finally service was all but none existent even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

We drove 30 mins for this restaurant and it’s worth every minute. The food is nothing short of fantastic and so consistent! Great service too! Recommend the cauliflower appetizer and the chicken shish-taouk!

Falafel was not good. The mix kebab plate was just okay. We waited sooo long after our appetizer to get our entree that we lost out appetite. Also, same as other arabic restaurants, it’s ridiculous that they charge you for water and they don’t offer you free tap water. The waitress tried to trick us to order what we really didn’t want. Not worth the price for sure.

The food is okay if you never had middle eastern food but terrible if you are used to authentic middle eastern food.

One of the better places to eat traditional middle eastern dishes. Staff does a good job - most of them are friendly and helpful. While we liked most of what we got - we also felt that some pairings seemed off - such as which rice was served with which dish and how sweet or well cooked some of the sweet dishes were. Overall - it is worth going back to.

Sit on my shoulder, treat me as bad as he is👎🏻

We ordered baba ghanouj, falafel and mixed grilled platter, everything was delicious, really nice and quiet atmosphere, our waiter was really nice and kind. Food portion are big! We love everything, we will definitely will be there again.

Beautiful restaurant, amicable staff and wonderful ambiance. I went there on a Sat nite to celebrate a friends birthday. I arrived early and they were willing to sit me if I would like to or just sit at the bar. The hostess was very friendly. Our waitress was super nice and patience as we were a party of 10. We ordered several appetizers and our main dish later. Everything came good as ordered and the food was so so tasty! I couldn’t pick a favorite. The meal portions are big so make sure you go with an appetite. This place has parking lot although I wish it was bigger. The belly dancer was amazing. You go for a meal and get a show too! Overall “I can’t wait to go again” P.S. it came in handy to have cash to tip the dancer.

My husband and I got the prix fixe dinner for two and the food was amazing. Probably some of the best Lebanese food I've had in Boston! And the belly dancer Elizabeth and live musician make it such a fun and lively environment. I would recommend this place to everyone, my husband and I still talk about how good the food was.

Unfortunately the food was lacking in many areas. The batata harra was not mixed correctly. The top potatos had little taste and the bottom had too much spices. The fatoush is basically green salad with just toasted bread. The siyadiye was cheap frozen fish and the taratour was just d7ine, not even a hint of lemon. Overall can't recommend.

They did a wonderful job today catering for our large party of 40 people, food was great but the tea was cold for our whole table! Had to ask them to give us hotter tea and they did a good job taking care of us. Very accommodating.

Dinner for two special: The lentil soup and hummus and pita were great. The chicken and assorted meat were dry and over cooked. The baklava and almond cake was also very dry. Service was ok.

What a wonderful experience! We had our son's 1st Communion at Al-Wadi and the staff was such a delight, the food was amazing and the owner was the best to work with. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Thank you so much for making our son's Communion celebration complete! Looking forward to return for family dinners!

Sat at the bar on a Friday at 5pm. Place was pretty dead, but a lot of people picking up food. Falafel and spinach pies are good. I would try a full meal in the future as they seem to be good based on the amount of people picking up.

Great food that's very well prepared and nicely presented. Almost everything we tried was perfect. Take care when paying that they automatically add a 20% gratuity to your tab (which they probably had to because the usual demographic almost never tips).

(He's can be picky so these are big compliments.) I had the grilled platter with chicken and sirloin kabobs, ground lamb kofta kebabs on rice pilaf with garlic sauce. All the meat was seasoned well, tasty and tender. The rice pilaf was also nicely seasoned and very delicious. Their garlic sauce was so so good with a nice bite- I wanted to put it on everything! My husband had lamb stew with green beans and gobbled it all as he said it was so delicious. I was impressed how they used pita bread in creative and tasty ways. They fried some pieces for as crunchy toppings for the fattoush salad and made some seasoned pita chips with zattar seasoning, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and maybe other seasons for dipping along with the regular pita bread. I wanted to eat a whole basket of their chips! I was hoping they would pack it with our leftover hummus and baba ganoush but since it was'nt, I want to go back just to buy some! We hadn't been there for many years since our kids were teens and in their earlier years. We were delighted to retry it to find it even more delicious. It is beautifully decorated so great for a night out or special occasion. We saw a group have a wonderful time all dressed up in finery for a special celebration as well as a mom and her young son enjoying their meal. We will return to try more delicious dishes!!

This restaurant is a rip off. We paid $ 200 for 3 small plates and humos and tabooleh and very bad quality. Very mall portions المشاوي على الغاز مو ع الفحم Not tasty at all

The food is amazingly taste and well prepared. The decoration inside also make it special. We ordered Mezza for 2 and had plenty of food dessert included. We will come back!

First time here at @alwadiboston and what a wonderful Lebanese dinner experience we had! We got the Al Wadi for two and were completely stuffed with leftovers to take home ❤️ First, we started off our feast with a deliciously comforting bowl of chicken soup. Next, we had an array of appetizers: pita and hummus, tabouli, and stuffed grape leaves. The pita was freshly baked with a great bite to it. the hummus was deliciously creamy, made with tahini sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil. Made fresh with parsley, mint, wheat bulgur, tomatoes, onions, lots of lemon juice and olive oil, it was hands down the best Tabouli we’ve ever had! The stuffed grape leaves were pretty tasty, with rice, spices, and lemon juice. Next, out came the main course of chicken kebabs, kafta kebabs, and baked kibbeh. I personally loved the chicken kebabs, as they were well spiced and juicy with every bite. I did not like the kafta kebabs which were made of seasoned ground lamb only because I personally don’t like gamey meat (if you like lamb, you’ll love these). The baked kibbeh was made with ground beef, cracked wheat, and pine nuts. A very interesting dish, again if you like gamey meat, you’ll love this. Finally, we ended the meal with dessert: baklava and namoura. The namoura was tasty with an interesting texture, made from semolina flour and yogurt and soaked in syrup. Saving the best for last, I had the best Baklava I’ve had in awhile, each bite of layered pastry was deliciously light and crisp, filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey/simple syrup. I’ve always thought of baklava being too sweet to ever enjoy, but like I said this was the best baklava I’ve ever had. The sweetness level was light enough to enjoy all the different elements of the dessert, the layers, textures, and flavors. Just divine! Please check this place out!

The food was ok. Not impressive at all. We ordered mutton kabab and something in chkn but the taste was just ok. I tried food in Arabic countries, the taste of other Arabic restaurants are quite good. The environment and service was good though.
