I haven't tried their entrees, but their cheesecake is second to none. My family is hooked on their biscotti cheesecake, which is incredible.

It's been a little while since I've been here and it was still so good got the Chicken gyro and was better than I remember and some hummus. I'll definitely be back for so many things! You need to check it out

Well, this WAS my favorite place for hummus and pita (and other stuff, of course) until today. I used to drive across the river just to get some!!! And then, today. My usual friend wasn’t there and one of the ladies greeted me. I said I thought I would try something different today. I asked for a falafel sandwich. On their menu it states that it has pickles and tahini on it. I know this already because I’ve had several… anyway, I asked to add lettuce and tomato today. She told me “no, it won’t fit.” Now, I’ve had a lot of falafel sandwiches in my day, many that come with lettuce and tomato already on them. Never an issue of it “fitting.” And even if there were a problem, can’t I deal with that myself?? I was willing to pay for it. She could have said anything but that. Can’t support BS no matter how good the hummus and pita are. 😕 In response to yours, I said , I would like a falafel sandwich and may I please add lettuce and tomato. She said, “No, it won’t fit.” I looked at her , smiled, said “ok” and left. If that is accommodating, I would like to see what isn’’t. You are a really nice person and your food is great. Jealous (or whatever) women spoil your business.

We came here on a Friday evening for a date night. The service was quick. We took a while looking over the menu since we hadn't been there before. The food was all delicious! We didn't think to take pictures of any of our food because we were too excited to eat 😋. We ordered the falafel plate as an appetizer. My husband ordered the beef and lamb gyro with onion rings. I ordered the Aladdins steak sandwich with rice. They were both very delicious! There were only 5 onion rings included in his order. But between both of us, we weren't able to finish everything else. For a Friday evening, I expected them to be busier inside. They did continuously have people calling and coming in to pick up to go orders. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items!

The best Shwarma I have had 10/10... I am addicted. I decided to try to hummus after seeing reviews but It was not my cup of tea.

Just amazing. I don’t know what else to say! I remembered loving this place when I lived in the area but it had been a few years since my last visit. I decided to stop by and try my favorite foods again and they were better than I remembered! The chicken shawarma is everything you could want it to be. So delicious!

I've been to this place carry out and dine in. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. The desserts look good, but I don't do sugar. Great customer service, nice atmosphere and they have a little shop you visit, will be back again.

This is a small restaurant in New Albany with amazing food. Tonight we shared the greek salad, it was very fresh. I had chicken shawarma and my husband had a chicken gyro. Everything was delicious, the sauces are really tasty. Note: they do not serve alcohol. I noticed they had some dessert options, but we did not get any dessert. Give it a try if you are in the area, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Have been a fan of this place since before it was located next to the Hitching Post on Market. About 8 years. Always good food and always great service. Whenever I have people visit from out of town, this is my "go-to."

One of my favorite spots in New Albany. Some of the best Mediterranean food in the greater Louisville area. I'm in the area frequently from Nashville, but would urge locals within a 45 minute drive to check it out!

Wonderful, best hummus I've had in a while, the pita soft and tasty. The gyro meat is tasty. The tabbouleh is refreshing, and the crumbled feta is creamy and delicious. This is just what I needed for a take out comfort meal, although the courtyard was very nice for those who'd prefer to stay and dine outside. Oh, and this easily was enough food for two. I barely finished half of it, leftovers will be appreciated.

My husband and I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and the curry chicken bowl to take home tonight and they were both so delicious! Aladdin's is one of our favorite restaurants in Southern Indiana and I don't think we've ever eaten anything there we didn't really like. It's owned and operated by a family of truly nice people💜

If you want Mediterranean cuisine that’s good cross the river, literally any of them are better. Fooled by the previous reviews. Don’t go here! Rude employees, food cold and tasteless, threw $40 worth of food away and found a good restaurant up the street. Garbage!!

Aladdin’s was recommended by many of the locals as we walked around the shops in town. It did not disappoint! Let me start by saying that the hummus and naan bread was amazing. Such good, warm, fresh bread! I could almost just eat that as a meal. I enjoyed the gyro meal with a salad and my wife had the chicken shawarma with rice. We didn’t have room left for desert but it looked delicious. If you are looking for great Mediterranean food, this is your place. Sorry that I didn’t get more photos of the food. I was too busy eating it. :)

We moved here recently from California and have had Mediterranean food from all over and I have to say this is one of the best if not THE best. Food was SO good! Environment is a bit basic but it doesn't matter because the people are nice and the food is amazing. We will for sure be eating here again!

back in 2019, when I was new to the area, my husband & I found this place; we enjoyed delicious lunch a couple of times; since the pandemic, for no particular reason, we had not been back; it came to mind when a friend & I (empty nest retired women in their 60s) were meeting for lunch; it is in a good location on a side street with plenty of parking near the water in downtown New Albany; unfortunately there were very few other customers on the sunny Friday we were there; we ordered hummus & gyros; every bite was delicious; it took home the tidge of hummus left over as it was too good to leave behind; husband & I both enjoyed it; we need to make this a more regular dine out stop

It's a restaurant. The food is decent, but a little pricy.

I had eaten at Aladdin's a couple of years ago and loved it. This time I was not so pleased. First, I was looking for a real restaurant atmosphere, not a take-out place that allows you to eat at their tables. Orders have to be taken at the counter, which includes tips, all before you have even experienced anything. Then the food was served in Styrofoam containers on a tray for you to pick up. The Greek salad was just lettuce and couple of ingredients, nothing like I expected. I pulled a long hair from my hummus. Except for that, the hummus was delicious. The entrees were OK. The tzatziki sauce was more like mayonnaise. For two people with hummus, two entrees, drinks, and baklava, we paid over $80, which I would not have minded if we had eaten off of real dishes, had been served, and had enjoyed the dinning-out atmosphere which I was expecting.

. This little middle eastern restaurant is my go-to place when I feel the need to get a Gyro. It's a small casual restaurant, located just inside the floodwall in New Albany. . I got a Gyros plate (Gyro + salad) and both were good. My side order of hummus was also tasty. The hummus size is apparently meant for sharing- (16oz (?)) and came with pita bread for dipping. All portions were quite generous. . There are tables in an outdoor courtyard for outdoor dining on nice days. The indoor space is adequate but not very visually-appealing. . Take-out is available.

Went for the first time today. The hummus was delicious, had the gyro beef and lamb delicious, baklava delicious.. my friend had chicken gyro and was disappointed. But I really enjoyed what I tasted and will definitely return. If you reply to my review we would like to know what the chicken gyro meat consists of..thank you

Garbage. The fries are soggy. The wraps had minimal meat in it. Styrofoam plates.... How can you eat of that that.... And it is bad for the nature...... I am from Europe, if restaurant service this food it Wil be out of business in 2 weeks. 2 meals, 1 coke 35 dollars.

My family and I LOVE Aladdin's! It's an unassuming restaurant like how much insanely good ones tend to be. Their chicken curry and shawarma are PHENOMENAL! I don't know anywhere in the tri-city area OR Louisville that offers such tasty eastern foods. The indoor dining experience could have a bit more in terms of atmosphere BUT it's comfy, clean and most importantly SO YUMMY. There's also more atmospheric seating options outside :) . I highly recommend this place.

New Albany's hidden gem!! There's not too places this side of the river that I absolutely love and could eat everyday, but this is my new favorite place. The food is great and the cakes are amazing. My husband is a very picky eater and he loves it too. I definitely recommend.

We really enjoy Aladdin’s. Everything we have had, has been delicious. I do recommend ordering online ahead of time because when ordering at the restaurant, it can take while to get your food. Overall great food.

New Albany's best kept secret. Mediterranean food can be tricky to do well but Aladdin's does all of it well. The Chicken Curry Bowl is top notch, but don't sleep on the shawarma, either. Oh, and the desserts aren't to be missed. 10/10, cannot recommend enough.

We took family who were visiting from Wisconsin. There were 6 of us, and we all ordered something different, and each of us loved our meals. Aladdin’s is small, casual and a gem in downtown New Albany. I wish I lived closer. I would be ordering takeout at least once a week!

Need to add more veggies other than tomato, onion and a tiny pickle. Where were the colorful peppers?! I also didn’t realize I paid $2.50 for a hot cup of bigelow green tea, when I could’ve bought a pack for the same price at Walmart, or even brewed some up for free at home. The food needed more flavor. The only thing I thought that was worth eating was Pita bread with hummus.

Food is good but service is terrible, basically there is no service. Other than cooking the food, the customer has to do pretty much everything. You cannot even get a refill on water. I have been wanting to try this place out for awhile. I'm glad I finally did. The food was great. You order and pay at the counter and they call your name when it's done. I originally gave this restaurant a 5 star review when my younger brother put me on to this place. However I never gave this restaurant the credit they deserved with a written review, so I came back to add that. Yes this restaurant is still 5 stars. Yes the food is fantastic. The prices are very decent, and serving sizes match the prize very well. You will not have to worry about getting what you paid for. The staff are friendly, and the food is made to order. I don't mind waiting. The menu read something about the fact that the food isn't fast, it's fresh (or something like that, I don't recall exactly, but you get the gist).
