Really love this place the green chili is awesome. I give it 3 stars because they are never open.

One of my favorites 🤩 if they run out of one type of chilli level I will gladly eat the next available. The Potato, steak and egg are my favorite

Let me just say the food has fallen off a bit. We love Alberto's Express, always go there. But we were by last Thursday and the food wasn't as good as it always has been.

Great green chili mild half and half and hot. Meat is always fresh tasting. Another great family owned business.

I wasn’t able to experience this place sadly. I called the establishment trying to get more information about the menu and nothing was available or “in stock” as the manager said. Then sadly the manager was being rude with me on the phone. I try to leave only good reviews for places but right off the bat the person on the other side of the phone made me not want to ever try the place.

The wife and I picked this up for lunch and I got the Deluxe Burrito Dinner smothered with hot green chile and she got a bean and cheese burrito with hot green chile on the side. And it was hot like advertised. I had the steak and potato burrito for mine and it was delicious. The rice and beans were on point too. They were very flavorful. We also got a large order of chips and salsa and it was great too. It was my first trying them but definitely won’t be my last.

Don’t come here if you want good tacos. The steak tastes like pot roast and it was gray in color. Worst taco I’ve had in a long time, I couldn’t even finish the taco and threw the second one in garbage.

I love the food, the service was great. Highly recommended this little hole in the wall joint. Prices are a little high, but it's set up where you don't need a whole lot for a good meal. Beef is a little bit flavorless but the chicken is great

Love the breakfast burritos good food

Called in an order which was repeated back incorrectly. Corrected the server over the phone. Arrived to pick up the order and was missing one item, two items were made incorrectly, and our tacos were soggy. We were charged $18 for two plain bean and cheese burritos which were supposed to have steak and did not. Overall, very disappointed. Won’t be returning any time soon.

The interior AND exterior are not impressive..BUT the food is delicious! Guacamole tostada's had a lot of Guac, and the breakfast burrito with pork had a ton of flavor! Very reasonably priced as well!

The place is disorganized and dirty. Tables aren't ever clean and when you try to call and place an order they won't answer the phone.

My biggest gripe is that the shredded beef has absolutely no seasoning in it. It's just wet, hot beef. I couldn't even finish my meal once I ran out of lettuce, cheese and tomatoes because the beef alone didn't have even so much as basic salt and pepper sprinkled in it. The staff are very friendly but it takes forever to get your order taken and even longer to get it once you ordered. We were second in line when we arrived and it took about 10 minutes before we could place our order and another 10 minutes to get our food. The floors, walls and ceiling are pretty dirty. The ceiling especially around the air vents is covered in dirt and dust and there's no barrier whatsoever preventing that dirt and dust from falling into the cooking area and food prep area. It doesn't really inspire confidence that the cooking surfaces or any other surfaces are very clean. It wasn't the worst Mexican food I've had in Colorado but it's not a place I'll ever return to for a meal.

The food is just down right yummy! Very consistent with the food, so you know you're getting the same food quality each time! The staff is always busy preparing food, but they have fun at the time!

Need to update their hours on Google. They are closed on Sundays and sign on the door says that they only do breakfast burritos on Saturdays.

I went here for the first time today and it was genuinely so amazing. I had always gone to the other one and even then I rarely went. I think I have eaten Alberto's twice in the past ten years maybe? Today I was out shopping with my mom and decided to do a quick stop for breakfast and the service was so amazing. One of the workers talked with my mom and I because we are vegeterian and did not know what we could get without being too much trouble and she spoke with us for a couple minutes about certain ingredients used and such so we can eat and eat knowing we are not getting lard or broths that may come in food. Despite the fact that breakfast was almost over, her and the amazing chef made us some fresh potato, egg and cheese burritos. This type of service is the service that all places of buisness should strive for. A welcoming and warm environment that is there to help their guest. If that has not sold you on this amazing place their food for sure will! That was one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a very long time. It reminded me of my abuela's that she would make for me when I was a kid. The chili was so yummy and the perfect level of spice. I will be making Alberto's a staple stop for me going forward.

😱 😱 when I was order my enchiladas, the lady made me feel so bad, she was screaming to me, I don't feel like I want to come back for a while... she is the owner, the other lady was not here today, she is very very nice, but she was not here today, so sad.

The staff is great. However, the past few years the consistency of the quality of the food has been poor. It also seems that the time of the customer isn't valued much. Multiple times I have gone to the restaurant when it has been slow, taking employees multiple minutes to stop talking and laughing with each other. No longer spending money here.

I stopping by to try their breakfast and honestly was excited to try according to reviews but disappointed by the soggy no flavored burritos. I’m sorry I. Wish I was putting 5 stars. But not impressed at ALL.

I was in the Greeley area and I stopped by to eat here And I did not realize it was the same owner who owned the restaurant. The food was great and is still the best! This will be my go to place whenever I'm in greeley which is rarely 🙃

Absolutely delicious food at affordable prices. People trust me if you can get here during their business hours go here instead of the other Mexican restaurant within less than a minutes drive. The food here is so much better, the staff is so much nicer and the prices can’t be beat. The hot chili is not for the faint hearted and they aren’t kidding when they say it’s the best in town. The first bite is rough for some but once you dive in you can’t turn back it’s just that good. I kick myself each time I’m craving their food on a Sunday. I get so excited for an order before realizing they are closed but otherwise they are 100% my go to for my favorite food.

Austin was super friendly and suggested the cheese Fries....amazing. thank you for a great dining experience.

Update: I used to eat there every time I went into town. Their food was great. Then, I took a quart of green chili pork home from there. I opened the container & saw more fat with the canned pork than anything. I don't like fat. As hard as I tried, I couldn't eat a single bite. I tried to call them a few times but no answer. I disposed the $13 container. Thought they would make up for it next time I went in, being a regular customer. They did not. The girl only told me to call next time. I don't think there will be a next time. 🫤

I typically love the food here. Today, however, the ground beef in the burrito was waaaay over-salted, to the point the food was inedible. When I called to say so, I got a "thanks, I'll let them know". No offer of a refund or discount towards another meal, which would have been nice. Won't be back.

I brought my daughter here for school lunch. we ordered a smothered deluxe chimicanga and a smothered deluxe bean and chiccharon burrito!! Ummmm, amazing, and everyone that was working equally amazing, we will be continuing to visit for lunch!!! I recommend you stop by!!

I’ve been trying to find a place that I like for authentic food from south of the border. I had 2 places I would frequent but only liked certain dishes from each. Tried Alberto’s for the first time today. Take out for my office staff’s lunch and WOW I wish I would have tried it sooner!!! My enchiladas didn’t stand a chance! Everybody else is always raving about this place and I can understand why. Fast, friendly, great food and better prices!! I’ll definitely be coming in or ordering again, very soon.

Tiny burrito size for $8. Asked for my burrito to not be wet and also not to have lettuce and tomato (not traditional in my opinion). Was told that was not possible then told it could be. Asked for rice and beans and got charged $2 extra. The burrito was the smallest I have ever seen. Also they do not tuck the sides of the burrito in?!!? Just roll it up and give it to you that way. Horrible.

Called in order for dinner - they left off an entire order from what we told them on the phone. We did not realize until getting the order home and had to go back. Also, do not use the menu on their website for pricing. They charged more for everything once we got there. Food was good, but nothing stood out. Tacos were soggy and falling apart. If you want a milder spice, get MILD. DO NOT get 1/2 - it is hot, and I cannot imagine what the hot would be like. You have been warned. Salsa and green chilie were runny. Overall, better than Taco Bell, but will continue to search for a better Mexican restaurant here in Greeley.

Got the chorizo breakfast burrito smothered with hot green chili. They gave lots of cheese 😁 green chili was good not spicy too me but love hot stuff. Sons barbacoa tacos was good he said. Friendly staff and service.

The Best breakfast burrito's in northern Colorado by far!

I have been going to "albertos" since they opened. I was in Jr high...and the recipes are still the same. Great breakfast burritos, green chili and overall food. My favorite is the breakfast enchiladas, also the fajitas and above all else...the smothered burritos in half half. I could keep raving about this local place. Once again went there this morning and the price and quality of the burritos are above par as always.

Best green chili in town! Burritos are tasty also. Service is a little lacking but still quick and efficient. Location could use some more/better seating.

The employees look as if you ask them anything they will bit your head off. But the service was very quick food was not so great tho but don't bad either.

Have to say I’m highly disappointed in the quality. Ordered from NO CO NOSH yesterday. Asked for pork burrito minus fatty chunks if possible, add beans, then ordered beef tacos. When they got here, opened burritos and full of gray looking chunks of pork and lots of fat, no beans and tortilla was wet and soggy. I called them, and the kid that answered basically told me to bad. Said they boil their meat and don’t take out fat. Said I had to pay for beans. I said that is fine, but wasn’t an option! He then blamed delivery driver for my tacos and hand held burritos for being wet and soggy. Basically was rude and after years of supporting Alberto’s and enjoying the food, I see the quality is awful now and the staff don’t care. Not worth $61.00 Barf

The reason I go here is for the breakfast burritos. They're pretty good and the price is reasonable at $4.00. In my opinion they are quite spicy though, even the mild (but I usually get chorizo so maybe that's the spice). Place feels like a hole in the wall though, just has a small town diner feel to it and some of the employees were complaining in front of a line of people last time I was there. Still I recommend it if you're looking for a quick breakfast.

Updated Review: I've sense changed my mind on this review and upped the star. My only complaint is the lack of glove wearing as this was strongly required in my previous kitchen experience. Basic restaurant hygiene but still have great breakfast burritos. Retracted Review: I still purchased burritos, but felt very uncomfortable with the fact that every employee did not wearing a mask. Strange times.

Excellent Mexican Food. The family is professional and courteous. For those of you whining about masks and speed of service, stay in Ft Collins, we don't want your kind in Greeley. Stick to the white tablecloth Anglo-Mex restaurants there. That food is made for people like you.

The salsa is way to runny and to much cilantro, the tostada was soggy, and the tamale was burnt, the taco was very soggy went to pick it up and it crumbled. Very unpleased with this order.

Way better than a lot of the breakfast burritos. Grew up with Santiago's, but this is my family's new favorite after 20 years! The chips and salsa are super delicious too.

Pretty good Mexican for CO! I have had a rough time getting any halfway decent Mexican food that includes FLAVOR, and this place is one of the better spots. It’s very unassuming and the restaurant itself isn’t great, but we get takeout burritos whenever we want this type of fare. The people working here are awesome too and make it that much better!

The food is great. Some of the employees actually have good costumer services others bring their issues to work.. some stand around and rather leave tables dirty, the floor is dirty, that just looks bad for the restaurant. I suggest get food to go.
