We tried it for the first time last night and it was wonderful. The customer service was fantastic, the owners obviously know and care about what they’re doing. The food was delicious and fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and get some cheesecake too, you won’t regret it!

Really didn’t care for the food, tostadas were soggy, sopapillas have a weird taste, my friend liked her enchilada plate! But honestly the cheesecake is to absolutely die for!

My coworkers and I went to ACL last weekend for my birthday. The owner brought a piece of chocolate cake with a candle. The owner's wife brought Natillas to the table and recommended mixing the cake and Natillas. It was a hit. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Going back for sure.

Possibly the best restaurant in SouthValley. On a recent girls day out, we ate lunch at Albuquerque City Limits. I had the Rose burger which is 5oz if I remember right, honestly a perfect size for lunch but the bigger bonus was the 3 sample sized sides so I was able to try the fries, potato salad & chips. There were no leftovers but we each got a cheesecake slice to go. (They are massive!) If you follow me, you know I love supporting small, locally owned, businesses & this one is worth supporting.

I can say it's a good restaurant, I lived there 19 yrs and didn't know it existed. I'm glad I found it this last visit will be going back.

A+++ super satisfying meal we got house specials and both did NOT disappoint! Definitely coming back especially for the dessert! Great local spot no doubt.

Carne Adovado is 🔥 11 out of 10 stars!! Not only was the food on point, but the service was stellar!! By far the best experience we have had in Albuquerque since relocating from DC!! The waiter took care of our little girl by giving her stickers and a slap bracelet, totally unprovoked and on the house. Just an AMAZING and welcome experience all the way around!! I will always recommend family and friends as long as they’re in business!! Glad we found the 💎 totally advise anyone to support this small business ❤️

Albuquerque City Limits is a South Valley staple. They opened their doors in 1999 and have gone non-stop ever since. They are family owned and have the best customer service in town! I've been to ACL several times and each time I go I try different menu items. Each plate has been beyond amazing! From the breakfast Indian taco 🌮 to the sopapilla stacker burger🍔 and everything in between has been so delicious! The red🌶 and green chile 🌶 they serve is flavorful and has a kick 🔥. I always order christmas 🎄 so I get the best of both 🌎 worlds. My fave part is always desert🍰🍮!! You can't go wrong when ordering a made from scratch slice of cheesecakes🍰 and a bowl of their natillas🍮. if you haven't tried them yet, what in the world 🌎are you waiting for

We were passing through, about a 15 minutes drive from I-40. Definitely worth it! Best burger I've had in a long time. My husband was super satisfied with his chicken fried steak. They have a good variety of foods to please everyone. Super clean and friendly staff.

This place is an absolute gem! Hubby has severe gluten allergy and the staff made sure nothing cross contaminated. He had the burger tacos and I had the green enchilada plate. Everything was delicious and the staff were soooo friendly. Definitely felt like we were home at momma’s table. We would eat here weekly if we could!

Love this restaurant and have been coming here for years. It had been a while since we were in the area, and it was like we had never missed a day. Great food, great service, and just a good place to eat.

Stopped in here with the fam. Excellent food and service! Clean dining area and restrooms. The mom gave us samples of food and gave us free dessert (family recipe pudding) since it was our first time there. I highly recommend the green chili cheeseburger. Got mine wrapped in a tortilla which was much better than expected. Would definitely go here again.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I had the mushroom Swiss burger. Great. It also came with grilled onions. Caramelized and very tasty. The staff is super friendly and a pleasure to be around. A mom and pop run business that is doing it right.

The person who waited on me seemed a little rude or indifferent. The other unfortunate thing is you limited to 1 refill for ice tea. The food was good. The roll was a little hard. The chicken fried steak seemed like it was pre-made from a pakage. The gray like enough flavor. The food and service were good.

I ordered from this restaurant on April,5,2024 and the food was awful it was sloppy and didn't have any flavor the red Chile was water down a lot the burritos were not even wrapped correctly it look like they just threw them in the plate. the tacos that I ordered were all broken and soggy. the green Chile cheese fries didn't have any flavor. the only thing I can say is that their burgers are good. and their spicy salad as well. I don't think I will order from this place ever again.

I wish you could do half stars, I'd probably say 3 and a half stars. The attitude, customer service, location is like 5++++. I will keep coming back because they are great people and desserts were great. Chocolate cake to die for. That being said the enchilada dish wasn't great. Sauce was interesting, sides were pretty meh...which isn't a big deal but the price for the dish should have had the food at a better level. that being said love to support local and maybe it was that one dish. I'll go back and try something different.

Visited this cheesecake paradise, and let me tell you, my taste buds took a vacation to Flavor Island! I ordered the Banana Pudding cheesecake and the husband ordered the biscotti cheesecake. Both were amazing, but only one true winner here tonight for me! The fusion of velvety banana goodness and the decadent charm of cheesecake with bits of crunchy cookie created a flavor symphony that had my taste buds doing the conga! 💃🏼🎉🍴 If happiness had a flavor, it would undoubtedly taste like this banana pudding cheesecake. Bravo, cheesecake wizards, you've turned my sweet tooth into a toothy grin! We will definitely be back for more!

Been there twice... really good food

This is the first time I’ve made a restaurant review. I was happy to try a new restaurant and I dined in with a good friend. The staff is quite friendly. Unfortunately, I was/am disappointed that practically every food item on the menu costs $16.99. Too pricey. I felt more disappointed that the meatloaf that I ordered tasted like hospital food and whatever it was made with left me feeling weird all night long. I had to brush my teeth a couple of times to try to get the odd flavor out of my mouth but did not work. I tasted a bite of my friend’s meal and it tasted like hospital food as well. I’ve never had this type of experience with a restaurant until now. Hopefully other menu items taste better.

UPDATE: 11 years ago a few colleagues and I had lunch at ABQ City Limits and 11 years later, this is still my favorite go to for a juicy, delicious messy burger with huge steak fries! After 11 years, quality is still top notch and consistent, flavor is delicious, atmosphere is always clean and feels like home and service is friendly and professional. It's family owned which makes it a place unlike the rest but the owners and their daughter make the experience so much more with their friendly smiles and conversations!! My absolute favorite is the ABQ stacker in both beef and chicken and if you've never had natillas...then make sure to add it to your order! Thank you ABQ City Limits for continuing to fill our tummies and warm our hearts! 💞

$40 for two burgers and drinks...no thanks I'll find a different/cheaper place to eat. Burgers were decent but nothing spectacular or worth that price.

In town for Balloon Fiesta and this restaurant was only eight minutes from our rental. It's definitely worth the try! Ordered the BLAT, meatloaf, and tavo salad. Great food and very friendly staff! I'm glad we found you!

I was excited to try this place, as it's got good reviews and my buddy told me he liked it. Got there on Tuesday, September 12, and lo and behold, big sign on the front window saying the place is closed ("on vacation") until September 19. No notice on their Google hours posting, on their main website, or even on their Facebook page. I hope no one tries to order food through their Square site because that says they're open too. Poor business management.

The food is amazing it’s here and has a homie theme that is welcoming to the New Mexico community I had a blast eating here and trying the green chili burger so so good and the cheese cake is delicious they have many options but cherry was my favorite definitely come out and try this place out

Clean environment, friendly staff, amazing food. The staff were very friendly but still professional. The food was extremely tasty and fresh. The only “complaint” I could say was the food was very fresh that it was temperature HOT, I had to wait a while to let it cool. (No really complaint at all) Despite that it was a great experience. Can’t wait to go again.

We had enchiladas with beans and rice. So fresh, delicious, great recipes since we can tell all is homemade. Loved the sopapillas too.

Was a little skeptical going in as there was only one other table occupied, but I ordered a burger and it tasted amazing!!! The prices are steep but it was a really good burger and the best potato salad I ever ate. Will return again.

Very nice place! This Family has been here in the South Valley for 23 years. Their restaurant is very clean with a homey ,cozy atmosphere. Their coffee is good and hot! I enjoyed my breakfast very much!

This is a great location for Mexican that isn't the typical spot. Friendly, courteous, and the food is tasty. Even the dessert had me coming back for seconds. There was almost no wait time for the meal, so if your short on time this is leaps and bounds better than the fast food we inevitably regret. Here there will be none of that.

This place is good. The green chili Enchiladas were dry basically just chicken & buenos green chili. Staff is Friendly especially the man who brings you your food but definitely over priced. The prices here are that of a nice 5 star restaurant so that’s disappointing. You’ll pay $15 for 3 taquitos it’s definitely over priced

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The staff is wonderful and courteous. Debbie was over checking on us and we got to know a little about her and her family. Love the inviting feeling of this place and the food is AMAZING with a home made taste.

The cheesecake at Albuquerque City limits is the best in the 505. There are many varieties but my favorite is the regular with cherry topping. Me & my sons visit a handful of times every month just for the cheesecake. If you’re ever in the South Valley stop by. My mouth waters every time I pass by. It’s light & flavorful & delicious!! During the holidays we stop in for a whole cheesecake & not just a slice because that’s how yummy it is!!

Save your money. Food was cold through and through. The cheese enchilada was basically an uncooked corn tortilla with cold shredded cheese straight out of the fridge with cold red Chile poured over next to a day old serving of cold beans and cold rice. If you’re gonna be eating a cold plate of left overs may as well eat at home. At least there you can nuke it in the microwave.

This place is a local jem! The owners are such friendly people they make you feel like family!! The food is homemade and is yummy! It was my first time going and I took my mom for lunch. The basket of fries is huge and their guac. Tostadas are fresh and delicious!! They have a beautiful mural of the Sandias painted inside the restaraunt. Come on by and give them a try!! Omg this place is the bomb. We got to meet Roy and his family and talk to them about their restaurant. His daughter Monica makes all the cheesecakes there from scratch. I had the key lime and we shared the Roy's special. I was so stuffed. Great place, good and owners. We will be back again.
