Amazing food! Will be back for sure!

This is, in my opinion, the best Greek food in the area by far, and I didn't even know it was there! All the best food in Middletown is located inside gas service stations. Try the gyro, get extra tzatziki, thank me later

Thank God for this Greek spot in Middletown. The best Mediterranean spot in the area. As others have said, by gas station and you never expect this good, but it is. My go to usually is actually the steak and cheese it's top notch, but their gyros are excellent and their deserts are solid as well if you want Greek sweets.

The steak and cheese is awesome, only complaint I have is they put mayo on it twice when I specifically asked for no mayo

Yup. I have had a lot of Greek food throughout the years and HANDS DOWN, this is by far the best I have had. Don't let the gas station deter you from coming here. The pita is soft, chicken gyro meat was flavorful, tender as can be and the tzatziki sauce is homemade. The baklava is layered perfectly with just the right amount of ingredients to make your mouth sing with joy. If you don't stop and eat here, then you are truly missing a real taste of fresh Greek style food. 10 out of 10, will definitely stop in again. You won't be disappointed 👍🙌

Excellent lamb gyro. Stopped by during a motorcycle outing. Will definitely return and try other dishes. Spent many years in Chicago and frequented Greek Town there. This rates very highly in comparison.

What a treasure, such great food hidden inside of this unassuming gas station. I knew it was good becuase the phone was ringing off the hook while I was waiting for my order. Food was fresh and delicious.

This is the real deal. Who would have known this hidden gem with authentic Greek food was in the back of Shell Gas Station? And the fresh cut French fries were so good! Delicious food & the service is always friendly & efficient. Cute little area with tables & chairs to enjoy your food in the sunshine. Thank you; plan to be back many more times.

Exceptional food and service. The only downside is when sitting outside there is a shop across the street where there is consistent hammering, other than that wonderful experience. We got the Gyro falafel pita.

We came to summers farm for fall fest and ended up remembering the trip for this place. That’s the kind of first impression this place left on me - it’s out of this world deliciousness. I usually don’t like tzatziki sauce because it’s too tangy or it’s too creamy but this place, with all the ingredients put the together, is like a symphony on your palate. It takes us 45 min to get here but I would gladly come again just for the food! This place is one of those 5-star unicorns that deserves everything. ευχαριστώ Aleko!

We did Aleko’s catering for my moms 60th bday and I’m beyond happy! Joanna was so amazing, accommodating, and the platters were delicious! The food was fresh, presentation was great, and she went out of her way to make little changes I needed last minute. The fire feta is unique and a huge crowd favorite. I will definitely use her in the future! Thank you so much!!!!

I had falafel sandwich from here and the Greek version is quite good. They seem to also have a fair non-veg collection of sandwiches and some traditional sweets.

So the food is ok. Compared to Greek places I’m disappointed. The service at the counter is horrible and unfriendly. The food is average. Don’t order the rice pudding, over 5$ and get two little scoops. Food here is def overpriced!!! Was super excited to find this place and was really disappointed ☹️

Incredible food! The Chicken gyro was loaded with tender sliced chicken, fresh veggies, and homemade yogurt tzaziki sauce! We will definitely be returning. My 2 yr old crushed a chicken gyro as well. We also enjoyed the boardwalk fries and a few of the desserts. Yum!!

The sweetest family owns this wonderful gem! We love them! Delicious and beautifully made food. The Avgolemono soup is outstanding as are the fresh Greek salads with grilled chicken Souvlaki and generous Gyros. We love the Spanikopita, Moussaka and the pastries!

Just had a basic gyro. It was delicious, staff was kind and helpful, and lemme tell ya about the patio. It was such a nice outdoor seating. Everything was quite clean!

Another very good experience at Alekos. I usually get souvlaki athenian gyro and chicken orzo soup, they are always amazing! I am never disappointed with this place. Their gyro is tender, flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned and it’s melting in your mouth! Excellent service, the staff are always friendly and helpful. I love this little place and highly recommend it!

The spanakopita and souvlaki are the best I’ve had!! The spanakopita was hand wrapped, filled with delicious spinach and feta - cannot wait to go again! Definitely coming back

It was my first time at Aleko's and I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and the service! I didn't expect much from a hole in the wall Greek place, but I was very happy with everything. I definitely will be coming back and recommending this place to others!

I have never been disappointed in Aleko's. My usual is the spanakopita and cheeseburger. So good, so good. And the price is very reasonable.

A hidden gem in Middletown! We had regular lamb gyro and chicken gyro for lunch, some of the best Greek food I’ve had in years!!!

Go-to place to pick up a delicious car picnic before heading out for hiking or to meet friends at Orchid Cellar meadery nearby. Everything is incredibly fresh, and the salads have the high-protein, high-veg focus that I prefer.

Love the food! However we have noticed the sizes have dramatically shrunk in size. Especially the Fries! There was literally 20 fries in our order today! Not very happy!!

A little gem alongside a gas station... Food is outstanding and that's enough.

I ordered the Falafel Platter with a side Greek Salad. What a disappointment. The falafel was super dry, the platter totally lacking flavor, and they did not provide any tzatziki sauce (extra-disappointing considering how dry the falafel was). And not an olive to be found in my “Greek” salad.

Hands down the best Greek food I’ve had in the US. Aleko’s is paradise for a vegan or vegetarian with their falafel, vegan meat, and salads. My favorites are the falafel gyro and the vegetarian platter. Finally I found a place with fresh food that tastes like you’re eating in Greece!

Not what you would expect inside a gas station, but the food was great. There were lots of pick-up orders, but service was still relatively fast when we ordered from the counter. We will be back!

Some of the best food in Frederick tucked away in a little corner of an unassuming gas station!! Owners/staff are fabulous and everything homemade. I can honestly say that I have loved everything I've ever gotten from there, which includes, but is not limited to, some of the best falafel, souvlaki and potato soup I've ever had! Don't let the long lines deter you - Alekos personnel are not only friendly but speedy as well!

This is by far a hidden gem. I would drive an hour + for the food. Disregard any of the boomers complaining and go try for yourself. I’ve had “authentic Greek food” elsewhere and it pales in comparison to Aleko’s.

I keep coming back here every time I eat at Alekos to write a 5 star review and I already have 😂 My grandparents came here from Greece and I've vacationed there, so I've had alot of Greek food throughout my life. This place is hands down the best and most authentic Greek food there is. I got the gyro and the meat was thick and juicy and they packed a ton in there! Tzatziki was on point. Feta fries delicious. Pita bread amazing. The baklava tasted just like the baklava from Greece. The list goes on and on. If you haven't been here, you are seriously missing out!!!

Best Greek Food I've had anywhere in Maryland. If, like me, you don't live nearby, my suggestion is to make it a date and have a picnic at South Frederick Overlook at Gambrill State Park.

This place was an amazing find when I was in the area! I'm Greek by heritage and know what good Greek food is supposed to taste like. Aleko's is the real deal. Not only do they serve delicious authentic Greek food but they have a wide selection of traditional offerings and Greek pastries! Gyro was amazing, spanakopita was amazing, and the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) were some of the best i've ever had. Yum!!

Excellent curb-side/carryout dining. This not really a sit-down place, but the food is as good as at any Greek restaurant with tables and chairs. They have a very nice outdoor sheltered eating area.
