I did a review from 8 months.But today I visit again and I changed my mind The service was rude. The food was cold and there's was trash between the chairsThe service was rude. The food was cold and there's was some food between the seats The waiters don't know how to smile

It was the worst restaurant ever .

I didn't like food at all , worst Mediterranean restaurant I ate from it ever , service was slow , the customer service is bad .

My wife and I dropped in here for her birthday. We saw the reviews here and thought we'd try it out. We were not disappointed. My wife had a vegetarian lovers plate which she enjoyed and I had a chicken kabob dish which I also enjoyed a lot. Grilled nicely. Portions were a good size. I think we both took part of them home. We tried a cheese sambusek which was a flavorful appetizer. My wife tried the yogurt drink which the waitress warned her that it was on the salty side (vice sweet) and that guests either really like it or don't like it. My wife thought it was okay, but felt it is an 'acquired taste' kind of drink. The baklava we had for dessert was nice because it was not super sugary sweet like they often are in most restaurants. We really liked it. This was a nice place that made you feel you were really eating at an establishment in the Middle East. Great experience! We definitely plan to go back.

Best Lebanese restaurant in Colorado...

Every order for takeout they purposely forget something on my order , I called and ask specifically for a tomato to be put in my order as usual they always cheep out no bread as well for 70$ u think you would get better service So sick of it I’ve being coming here for 20 years !

Kabsa wasn’t good. It was too salty

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and delicious food. I had the Kafta Kabob and it and the rice that came with it were very favorable. The hummus was some of the best I've ever had.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was stunning and clean and portion size was pretty good for the price. Recommend for lunch as it was steady but not too busy for dine in

Been eating here over 20 years, since they opened, was served rotten taboleh that leaked rotted juices all over my platter. Was told I could have 1/2 the money back. The owner was not there. The waitress said If I didnt pay half ot would be taken out of her check. Straight nasty, terrible owner as well to make the waitress tell me that. Dont bother they suck now.

Highly recommend this nice place. The owner and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The grills taste is authentic to middle easterners and the environment is very cozy. They understood gluten allregy and they are aware of cross contamination.

Everything about it is so good. The ambiance is great. Great and fast service. And the food is top shelf.

Our family enjoyed a fabulous lunch yesterday at Ali Baba's yesterday in Golden at their beautiful restaurant. In addition to a wonderful meal and service there is ample parking and easy access off of 6th Ave and the 93 hwy, so convenient for those of us coming from all over the metro area. I highly recommend!!

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. The atmosphere is amazing. Probably the best hummus I've ever had. So delicious. Get the lamb.

I live in Virginia but have family in Colorado and every time I visit I have to go and get the chicken kabobs. I haven’t found any comparable. Delicious.

The decoration is very fancy , the food very salty! The price should be $90 raised up to $117!!! Never get back again.

As a business you have to 1 up your competitors and undercut their Pricing. Alibaba your PETA doesn’t touch Amir Grills nor does the hummus. The lamb is not cooked to perfection and your prices are too stiff. As a honest review of Amir grill wasn’t nearly in the same Parking lot I’d come here and I’ve actually tried this first but you guys don’t compete on quality! Gotta say it how it is. Go to Amir Grill if you want better food. The curry tasted like the worst dad made stew that’s not very good I’ve ever had ! And was very disappointed with my meal today. Won’t be trying anything new here.

Average at best. Server was curt and not very friendly. Food lacked seasoning. Rice - dry, meat - dry, falafel- saw dust dry. Great atmosphere though.

This used to be one of my favorite Mediterranean places in the area. Last time I came here, however, was a disappointment and probably my last (June 2024). It was about 1:30 on a Tuesday, so not terribly busy. I stood at the entrance for about a minute and a half before anyone even came to greet and seat me. I then sat at the table for another two or so before anyone came to even provide water or take my order. The food is much less flavorful than it used to be. The falafel was bland and the fries (which they charge $3 for) weren't even salted. And, on top of that, their online menu prices are incorrect: everything is at least $0.50-1 more expensive than their own website says. After I had finished, I sat for nearly ten minutes before I was able to flag down wait staff. At no point did anyone come to check on my food, refill my water, or even give me the check. So basically the food is overpriced and the service is nearly non-existent. It makes me sad to say this since there really aren't that many good Mediterranean places in the metro area in the first place and this one has now joined the list of mediocre places that aren't worth inflated prices.

My favorite place of all time in Colorado

I ordered the Tebbouli salad, it was just chopped parsley, very little tomato & onion. No bulgar at all. I will never go back! Golden & Lakewood have other Lebonese restaurants that I will frequent.

Suggested by a friend of mine and it was really good. Ended up having the steak kabobs and a lot of hummus. Love to go back and try some more dishes.

Food delicious. Different taste but really tasty. Liked the gyro with lamb slices. We ordered family style so we could try different dishes.

Walking into ABG is being transported to another realm. The warm coze and intricate designs feels like you’re eating in a kaleidoscopic caravan with a desert oasis just outside, only you’re in Golden, CO LOL - The food is quite good with decent portions and solid value. Would recommend the mixed shwarma and hummus as well as the vegetarian plate. Service was very attentive and kid friendly. Def a great option!

The first day I visited this establishment I was ever so delighted to see an authentic Mediterranean restaurant in Colorado. The staff was ever so pleasant and welcoming. HOWEVER, on the 2nd day I visited I was treated with the utmost disrespect by a female employee which was slightly over weight and was wearing a face mask. She uttered the following "Why did you sit down for?" I responded "To order my meal as I did yesterday". She then responded "If I didnt tell you to sit down you can't sit down" in an aggresive manner which I did not appreciate. NEVER will I attend this establishment. I dont appreciate being commanded in an aggresive manner. This member of staff DEFINITELY has not had the adequate customer service training or even people skills for that matter of fact.

I love this place, always stop by when I'm in Golden. Met a friend for lunch today, still as awesome as always.

Stop by there for a lunch this Sunday. The cashier/waiter lady was too bossy to assign us a table. The entire restaurant was almost empty but she wanted us go have a table that just got wiped down. Table Still wet and had strong stale chlorine smell all over the table and the menus. We decided to leave the restaurant for the bad service and attitude to next door Amir grill.

Came in after kitchen was closed. We were hungry. They gave us baklawa, bread, hummus and a lot of kindness. Shukaran habaibi - it was delicious and heart warming.

I'll start off by saying the Giro Pizza was the reason i used to go here but unfortunately it's no longer the same recipe which was a bit of a disappointment. On the other hand the kindness of the waitstaff and the delicious other options made up for the loss! I guess it means i'll be trying some of their other wonderful dishes. Everyone else at our table was highly impressed with their meals and will be returning soon. We did bring in long sleeve jackets cause the cold air can blow in the restaurant but while we there the freezing the air was turned down. Thank you.

Golden, CO. Stopped for lunch coming from Estes Park on our way to Denver & we chose perfectly since the food here was delicious! The tebbouleh salad was good along with the bamya dish which was braised lamb with fried okra and came with a larger than expected portion of a side salad & hummus with pita. Their homemade hummus recipe btw was excellent. But what really impressed me was the yogurt drink which was freshly made! I even followed up on where my drink was since our food was already there but when they said it was still being made and then when I tasted it, you could taste the difference between the bottled ones & freshly made. SF Bay Area restaurants that sell yogurt drink need to step up their game - why is it that we only tasted this in the suburbs of Colorado?!

Ali Baba is by far my favorite Mediterranean restaurant anywhere in the Denver area! The food is always good and reliable (I recommend the chicken shawarma entree), the staff is friendly, and the entire restaurant is awesome. Last time I was there, the staff forgot something we ordered. They quickly fixed the mistake and gave us free baklava to go, which we really appreciated (the baklava is amazing too). With the entree, I often have enough food for leftovers and it keeps really well!

The portion of the hummus was half the size of the baba ghanoush, for the same price. Tasty but disappointed in the size. There was a new guy names Derek I believe, and he was awesome and on top of everything, while our real server just stood around on her phone and was really rude when we asked about the portion for the hummus, and we never saw her again until we paid.

Lovely culturally accurate cuisine

Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. My husband & I love trying new foods all over the country and this by far is on out top 3. Will definitely return & highly recommend👍🏼

pizza margherita - 5/10, så å si ingen tomatsaus, pizzabunn helt grei, ikke mye olje på pizzaen så det er ett pluss, osten ganske kjedelig, kunne hatt godt av noe basilikum, og en god olivenolje over. Doner kebab 2/10, brød ok, men kunne ha varmet dette, ingen smak på kjøtt, verken salt eller krydder og urter. Dressing var smakløst. Maisen smakte som den var fra first Price på boks. All maten kom i tillegg kaldt.

NEVER AGAIN I bought 2 chicken shawarma Sandwiches it was So so bad .. This is not shawarma. It is bad chicken sandwich..

We went there for a dinner and enjoyed ourselves. We came back and they weren’t open. They do not update their hours on google. They asked if I had called. They wasted my evening as I drove across town to get here.

I cannot tell you enough how delicious the lebnese foods are in this place. The interior of this place is authentic and tremendously beautiful. Would like to go again.

This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL! Ordered carry out but when I went in to pick it up saw how stunning the place is decorated. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly friendly. For appetizers we had the Fava Beans and Cheese Sambusek, all were great! For dinner we had Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kabsa, and Chicken Curry, also all excellent and I would order any of them again. Portion sizes were generous and the dinners came with hummus and salads.

Gyro lunch special was good, especially the rice, but did not include pita bread. One person running cash register and waiting on tables. Very middle eastern environment, Lebanese Mediterranean.

I’m bummed because the food was actually really good. The service was a problem for us. The waitress didn’t write our order down & our appetizer and part of one of our meals never came out. She came back to double check what my kids ordered and still brought the wrong meal for them. Because of this the rest of the family was completely finished eating before their correct food came out. If we’re going to go out and spend the money at a restaurant we’d at least like to enjoy our meal together. It’s a bummer because the food was actually wonderful but we won’t be back due to the poor service.

Excellent chai tea, king combo, veg combo and mahamara dip! Bread was fantastic - warm and arrived puffed up. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Highly recommend this place. So cute in Valentine's Day this year they made heart shaped falafel! ❤️

Amazing. The best hummus, and baba ghanoush I’ve ever had. Forgot, the stuffed grape leaves were also the best I’ve ever had. Beautiful place! The grilled meat skewers were slightly overcooked. That was the only downside.

We've been going here for years. Mostly for take out dinner. I have never received a bad meal here. The food is just right, and is consistent. The service is top notch. Something that is a lost art these days. Staff is friendly, and service is prompt. The restaurant atmosphere is generally peaceful and calm. Nice decor. Literally nothing negative to say.

Earlier tonight I went with my family to dine out for my birthday. What a disappointment! The cashier & the rest of the staff were trying to rush us out as soon as we entered at 7.15. They said they close at 8.00. The portions were ridiculously small, grilled tomatoes missing on Koobideh platters with no alternative options. Barely any rice on the servings. The french fries were also tiny portions.The servers were rude & stubborn & spoke in Spanish? Something was completely off about this restaurant where we always felt comfortable & at home! We got back home hungry after a hefty bill.

Hidden Gem. Great great GREAT food. I drive 40 minutes to eat here on a regular basis. Love this place and always recommend to my guests.

I arrive like 0720pm they said it will be only takeout. But over all food was extremely good to my test. I ask Shank with rice and hummus. Hummus test was very good. Who ever make that he know how to do it. Because I know the real test been there country Damishq . Good test and good food. Worth for the value of $$ you pay. Tks. This not only the most beautiful restaurant in Golden, it also has the best Middle Eastern food. It's a bit off the beaten path in a strip mall in North Golden, but it's worth the 5-minute drive from downtown Golden.

Always a good place. Ask the staff for recommendations. I always get the mint tea (hot) and ask for a to-go cup!

Great place food in Golden right outside of Denver. Really enjoyed the Lamb Shank and Kabsa. Meat was so tender and tasteful just wow. Love it.

I expected much more. Isn't it worth 4.4 stars! 20% gratuity? For 3 people. Seriously? For awful service, not the best food, and you're not Aspen. Ordered tea, which didn't get. Appetizers were fine. But the main course... Have you ever seen gyro? Kebab was dry. Gyro looks like a dog food. You don't want to eat it even. Horrible. You don't deserve 20% gratuity

We've enjoyed Middle Eastern fare at numerous locations across the US, and this is our new favorite location. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was outstanding. We look forward to returning the next time we're in the area.

Great Middle Eastern food. Big menu. From scratch kitchen. Great service. We enjoyed grilled meats, hummus, falafel, baklava, and more. Family owned and operated.

Came in Friday for an early dinner. They were out of 2 items we wanted. Waitress forgot about us and the dip we ordered. Pizza came out as we were asking for our check. Zaatar pizza was doughy and very heavily spiced making it inedible.
