Good food awesome service rice balls delicious

If you get the chance to eat here, don’t sit on it! The atmosphere was so charming, the service was amazing and the food was so so good!! We ended with cupcakes (delicious) and I just loved it. Small and simple with a delightful experience!

I have had Allie’s cupcakes before which are delicious (love salted caramel!)! This was my first time going for lunch! It was a great experience! The food did take awhile to come out and I was very crunched for time which was the only downside. The staff was super friendly! I ordered the pesto sandwich and it was delicious! Super juicy and moist - not dried out. Very well prepared! The pasta salad was also delicious! I just picked the olives out cause I’m not a fan. For dessert I ordered the salted caramel gelato. I was hoping the pretzels would be super crunchy in the gelato but they were a bit on the soft side. Overall delicious treat that I’d order again. Thank you for a delicious lunch! Not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely adorable! Very well decorated, warm, and welcoming!

Whoa I never give 5 stars unless it's special..., this place is a MUST try! Whoever the chef is really knows flavors and isn't afraid to use them! I don't think there's a bad dish on the menu! It's a small place with big dishes and people are super friendly. Oh and gotta try the cupcakes!

I attended an end of basketball season party here, this is such a beautiful and inviting place, it is nicely decorated, very clean and there is ample parking. I plan on visiting again during spring break for lunch. The menu is full of lunchtime favorites for adults and kids and the pricing is very reasonable. I will update this review with more pics and more details of the food when I return. The story behind Allie’s added an extra layer of sweetness💕

This place is fantastic. Amazing steak sandwich and shrimp tacos. The salads look great too, but I just keep ordering the steak sandwich. Ha!

This is an absolute great restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend this place. It’s quite small with just a few tables but the food is worth trying to get in. It’s a small sidewalk restaurant that’s easy to miss so keep an eye out for it.

Allie’s is my favorite local family owned cafe. Also just chosen as the best in Warren county. Well deserved. From appetizers, to salads, sandwiches, daily specials, cappuccino and gelato…everything is amazing! Of course the cupcakes are fabulous too, as are all the homemade desserts. The service is always great and the owners are wonderful!

I was greeted right away with a pleasant smile. I only tried the cupcakes so far, but they were pretty good. The chocolate strawberry cupcake was moist with hints of strawberry jam, not too sweet. The salted caramel was very good; the cake was dense and it had thick buttercream frosting, which was much sweeter than the chocolate strawberry. The cupcakes are on the smaller side and each cupcake was about $4, which is average.

Went in for a "coffee and cupcake" business meeting, but the menu was too tempting to ignore, so we had lunch. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich (Don't forget the waffle fries!) was amazing. Really flavorful! We are certain to go back! Maybe we'll even try the cupcakes this time? 😊

Unbelievably rude and hostile. A professional restaurant addresses concerns and acts accordingly. We were not rude, we offered to pay for the whole meal despite the bad quality we received, my girlfriend has autism and struggles with social situations, today was her birthday and she wanted to go to Allie’s, they would even say happy birthday back to her. In the past we had ordered from Alllie’s over the pandemic to support them and she had eaten there several times when she was younger The food was not the quality we had in the past, we sent our food back to clear the table but still we were going to pay for the food we sent back, which we did. Allie's said they would charge us for the rice balls but the total was 40.09 and it would have been 37.60 if they hadn't charged us for them. I was going to pay the whole price anyway but that was just scummy. What we sent back was The regular fries which were undercooked and tasted sour, served without salt. the rice balls which were burnt, the outer layers of rice were hard and there was no mozzarella filling as advertised. We had ordered that over the pandemic they always looked hand made, these were small which would have been fine if they weren't overcooked. The strawberry grilled cheese, was way to heavy on the balsamic, almost inedible, and the arugula was really just spring mix. And the cappuccino was bitter with a very tasteless foam. A cappuccino is usually stronger and less sweet than a mocha but its not bitter. It was like big a gas station coffee. We didn't eat any of the meals listed above, they were sent back soon after receiving and tasting them. Of what was good, The chicken avocado sandwich was great and the sweet potato fires were perfect. We took it to go. When I went to pay at the register the woman was noticeable angry and spoke in an aggressive tone, face was red. She said she wasn't going to charge us for the rice balls, I didn't care I offered to pay for the the rice balls to be nice because there food has been good in the past, she said she didn't know what went wrong, so I explained in a much kinder way then I have here, that the food was overcooked here undercooked there but I didn't ask for a refund. Allie’s is definitely up there in price, the food should equal that price, which meant food should not be delivered undercooked or overcooked and should be what the menu says they are. the customer service needs work I wasn't angry hostile or even rude for that matter. I’ve worked in customer service I know how to treat people right, our discussion felt more like she wanted an argument. In all I paid 40.00, put really only got to eat a chicken avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries as an upcharge, they made no attempt to remake the other food I paid for. We will not be coming back. I am willing to revise this review if Allie’s wants to make it right.

Food was good but ridiculously overpriced. The waitress was sour and grumpy and it wasn't busy at all. The morbid sayings on the wall are kind of weird.

Yay! I’m so happy for Allie’s Cupcakery & Cafe. It’s wonderful to see this small, local business open and once again serving customers their unique and flavorful food. I’m a picky person when it comes to wholesome, fresh and well-seasoned food. Allie’s delivers on all levels. I’m also glad to see they’ve added new items to their original menu. Their steak sandwich has always been a favorite of mine over the years, as has their Tex Mex Salad (I have them add onions, of course!) What I appreciate about the owners is that they think “outside the box” when it comes to the ingredients they choose. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive - qualities many restaurants seem to be lacking. My review would not be complete without mentioning their awesome baked goods. The Red Velvet cupcakes are my all-time favorite. Thank you, Allie’s, for providing us with not only great food and baked goods, but also top notch customer service. As MacArthur once said…”I’ll be back!”

Coming from a Sweet Tooth, Allie’s Cupcakery is by far one of the top 3 cupcakes I’ve ever had. I had the Funfetti Peep and my boyfriend had the Chocolate. They were both TO DIE FOR. The frosting was perfectly sweet and buttery (NOT too buttery!) The cake was moist and not to sweet nor dry at all. We each enjoyed our individual cupcake so much we didn’t share 1 bite. NYC old favorites Magnolia or Sprinkles don’t have anything on Allie’s. Decoration wise, these were adorable. A bird’s nest for the strawberry, and a cheerful yellow Peep for Easter. I drove 1 1/2 hours for a DMV appointment and found this on a whim. We also noticed locals grabbing cupcakes for a lunchtime treat. I would drive back for another occasion!

Amazing food & service. Not just cupcakes, so much more!

Allie’s is literally the best place in town. We pick up lunch almost every Saturday. I can’t say enough good things about them. If anything has cranberry on it, it WILL be amazing. I have never ordered a single thing I haven’t liked. Their portions are generous and make sure you try what is on their specials list!! However, I always steal a bite of my kids quesadilla and chicken fingers. Their cupcakes and peanut butter pie are not to be overlooked either!!

Food is outstanding, as is the greeting when you walk thru the door.

Yesterday my husband and I got lunch and dessert from Allie's for the first time. We were blow away by how good everything was! I had picked Allie's because I was celebrating graduating from my masters program and didn't want a whole cake so a slice of carrot cake for me and a cookies and cream cupcake for him was perfect for us. I had the coconut crusted chicken wrap for lunch and WOW it was good. The pasta salad was also some of the best I'd ever had. My husband's steak sandwich is also highly highly recommended and the fries were exceptional. We drove from Hackettstown for Allie's and will definitely be doing it again!! Thank you Allie's for making my graduation day delicious.

A friend invited me for lunch here and I didn't even know it existed. So glad to know now! Very warm and inviting atmosphere and the service was top notch and with a great smile! We both had the salad special, spinach with blueberries and pomegranate - mine with chicken and my friend with shrimp. It was delicious!

My husband and I love having lunch at Allie's. The service is always wonderful, great iced tea and the chicken soup is the best! We love the rice balls and pot stickers. We are usually too full to eat dessert but that's why they make to go bags.

What a great little place! The food and cupcakes were delicious. You can tell that the food is homemade and fresh. The quality of everything was top notch. It is a very tiny place but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!

The cupcakes I tried were so delicious, now I'm always craving some more but their establishment has a very tight schelude 11am - 3pm which makes it very inconvenient because every time I can drive by is closed. Maybe they should try to expand their hours even if its only on Saturday. I'm sure that will bring more customers and business to you.

Such a cute and cozy little place. We went for the first time yesterday for lunch. The rice balls are AMAZING!! so delicious, so is the soup and my husband got the stake sandwhich which was also great. Beautiful cupcakes and the gelato is very tasty. will definitely be back and cant wait to bring friends too.

The steak sandwich was so flavorful and tender. The french fries tasted like they were cut and fried on the spot, very tasty. Had a strawberry cupcake, the icing was light and airy and the cupcake was so tasty. I highly recommend.

I love this little place. Food is all fresh and homemade. Thry always have great specials to chose from. Highly recommend. The place is quaint and cozy. Be sure to get there early to get a seat! Definitely don't miss this gem!!!

Allie’s Cupcakery and Café is a five star experience each and every time. The food is delicious and the specials are just that - special. The cupcakes are the most delectable I’ve ever had. They are always moist and the frosting is exquisite. From the pies to the gelato, the rice balls to the spring mix salad, you can’t go wrong with whatever you order off the menu. Not only is the food out of this world, the service is unparalleled. You can feel the love radiating from the walls. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for any occasion. This is my favorite lunch spot and once you visit, I’m positive it will be yours too.

Moved here in August and have been wanting to try Allies. Today I was out and about and decided why not today. OMG ... it was so good I was so glad I stopped, I will return. I decided to try their risotto, which is made to order . Best I have ever had and I brought home half for dinner. Scale 1 to 10, I would say 11!

Amazing desserts but the food here is incredible! I love the fact that they use part of the profit to help kids with cancer. Great place and great people!

Well a quick lunch it certainly was not. Service was wonderful but the food was simply too good to wolf down. Two of us had strawberry grilled cheese and I had outrageously delicious cajun chicken. Also needed to pack half up and take it home. Had it for dinner that evening. My advice, don't rush it; stay and enjoy.

We have been to Ally's about 6 times in the past two years. I wish we could go more often, but they close at 3pm and we get off work at 5pm. Boo! Ally's is such a lovely place; warm, inviting and cute. The servers and owner are always kind and welcoming. The food is clean, tasty and well presented. We get frequently get sandwiches and the pasta salad. The sandwiches are excellent and the pasta salad unique and tasty. Give this little place a try. You will love it

This is a charming little cafe atmosphere. Enjoyed my chicken pesto sandwich and my friend enjoyed the rice balls and soup. Waitstaff was pleasant. It is close quarters, but the decor has a sweet personal touch.

Stopped in for cupcakes and stayed for lunch as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. The food was fresh and delicious. The cupcakes are out of this world. Staff was warm and friendly. Will be back soon.

Allies is a cute little cafe that does there own cupcakes and ice cream along with doing their own little twist on some good food.

We took one of our daughters and two granddaughters there for lunch and it was very good .tis is our second time there and would tell anyone to go .the food is very good and the prices are great and good service too

The food and service are always AWESOME at Allie's Cupcakery! My husband and I love it. I love the grilled cheese with strawberries sandwich. But I've had their specials and am never disappointed.

I used to live near this town and sadly it has few good restaurants. Well imagine my surprise finding this truly delightful small cafe and "cupcakery" just off of Main St. The decor is charming and tasteful, the food is fresh, interesting and delicious. I had the Arugula and crispy sausage salad with red onions and tomatoes. It was an artful combination of flavors. They also have other salads, sandwiches, soups, wraps and if you are interested in something sweet, their own cupcakes, cakes and gelato. The staff were friendly, service was quick and the prices were moderate. I will be stopping here again.

Loved the atmosphere and quick service. The food was delicious as well as the cupcakes. They weren't overpriced at all for the amount of food you get. Will definitely be back soon!
