We drove ALL the way out here and they are closed!! The sign said closed for 2021 season. This is 2023. So if your not going to open back please change your status on goggle or update your sign. Thank you!

Been there only once their last weekend in 2021, and we couldn't wait for 2022. Never opened.... Said they'd be back for 2023. Fingers crossed! So good. Best catfish ever and great ambiance! SOOOOO, Are you going to open for 2023, Allisons restaurant??? Please let us know!

Best catfish I've ever tasted! Lovely down home atmosphere. Big piece of coconut cream pie that tasted like grandma's, well worth the price. The wait was long and I had to park 100 yards away. But this place is seasonal and closes up after today. I was told the wait was not unusual. I think it was an hour. When open, it's just on Fridays and Saturdays from 5-9 PM.

Very enjoyable meal of catfish, hush puppies, coleslaw, and baked potato served fast by pleasant servers. Highly recommended local institution. Open only 2 days a week and is seasonal so call ahead for reservations.

What can I say? Even the delivery experience is great. The food is always good!

I'm local. My first time there and really enjoyed it. They were very polite and the dining experience was great. They ate super friendly. I enjoyed the food. The view and location is very nice and comfortable.

If you like Catfish, THIS IS THE PLACE to eat!! I had the small 6 ounce Catfish meal with Shrimp. Plus the delicious hush-puppies, baked potato, and sweet coleslaw, and I was stuffed to the gills! The fresh brewed Tea is just right, and half of this dinner came home!!

This is a fun local place to go! Worth the visit! They've got catfish, chicken, and shrimp. Baked potatoes made just right. Hush puppies that are about like corn fritters and excellent. And a great assortment of tasty desserts! The staff is real personable and you've got to try Allison's!

Loved the food, service, and atmosphere.

It is exactly what they claim, a country catfish house. They have a simple breading that is executed perfectly. The fry cooks do a great job. Nothing was soggy with oil. They onion rings were crisp, the catfish nuggets were crisp, and the deserts were fantastic. Peanut butter pie and keylime pie dominated the choices of the fourteen people in the party.

Wow! Only open on weekends, spring thru fall. The Cat Fish was Delicious baked potato nice and hot when served. The coleslaw was OUTSTANDING, maybe even the best I have ever had!! Oh and their keylime pie and caramel cheese cake finishes off the delicious home style, friendly restaurant!

I ordered the fried catfish. I've never had such amazing tasting catfish before. It was moist, flaky, there was zero grease on my plate. Even when I reheated the fish the next day, zero grease on my plate and still tasted amazing! I will be back, with friends bu my side.

I was excited about trying this restaurant for the first time after hearing such good things about it. My experience was fun due to my awesome waitress "Angel", but the food did not live up to the hype. My food was not hot which was surprising considering we had to wait to get in.

Fresh Catfish, chicken tenders, shrimp, hushpuppies, home fries or baked potato, onion rings, and coleslaw. Everything is battered and deep-fried except baked spud and coleslaw. No appetizers are served. Dessert menu available.

Fast service and so friendly atmosphere. Everyone around us enjoying themselves. Catfish was fried to perfection! More than enough portions and great coleslaw as well! Put this restaurant in my phone!

Love ,Love this place.. But they have changed their slaw..not as good.and it used to be the best.. Still Love everything else..but cant eat that slaw....to much vinegar???? Or something.

Only open on Friday and Saturday, I believe from 5 to 9. Five or more people can get reservations for a table. If you don't have reservations, you sign up on a clipboard outside and when they open, they start with the first names on it and call you in. It only took about 10 minutes to get our food and we were all done in about 40 minutes. Catfish was fantastic, shrimp were huge, hushpuppies were amazing. Definitely recommended and will be back.

We get to Allison's at least once a year. Weird hours sometimes make it difficult. They are only open from 5 - 9PM Friday and Saturday. They close for the season at the end of October, then reopen in March. The parking lot is usually full by the time they open at 5pm and they usually can seat most everyone at once. Service is quick and the food is very tasty. I love catfish and they do it right! Deserts are homemade. The restaurant is clean and a very cozy atmosphere.

Great hidden gem in Friendsville ,TN! Food is delicious and staff is Fabulous! They not only have fried catfish,they also serve chicken tenders, and shrimp with a choice of bake potato or fries. Their hush puppies are to die for! I can't say enough about their homemade pies...and BlackBerry cobbler! It is a seasonal restaurant March to October. Well worth the drive.

Our server was great and if the speed our fish disappeared is any indication, everyone at the table was pleased. The lemon pie looked good too.

This is the best catfish I've ever tasted. It was cooked thoroughly but still moist. Most restaurants overcook catfish. There was a wait time to be seated but it was definitely worth the wait. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The serving sizes were more than ample. If you love catfish and want a specialized menu this restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

I had the catfish, shrimp and chicken combo and it was amazing. Always good portions and always very quick to get the food to the table. Homemade desserts are always fantastic too.

This was our first time and we had a great experience. We didn't have a reservation but it was only about a 35 min wait on a packed Saturday night. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came out really quick and was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

If you want an amazing local experience with out of this world southern comfort food, this is the place! Simple menu, at home feel, never leave unsatisfied! Don't expect anything but fried goodness. Expect to wait a little while. Only open a couple nights on the weekends from spring to fall, it's always busy. Enjoy your wait by walking around back to the catfish ponds, or hanging on the porch with your company!

Got the small catfish dinner. It was tasty, but not a catfish filet as I was expecteling......only several pieces of nuggets. It can with a huge baked potatoe and side serving of cole slaw, which was nicely prepared. Had the lemon icebox pie that was creamy, but seriously lacking any lemon flavor.

In my opinion Allison’s serves the best catfish I have ever tasted. Can’t wait to go back.

You will want to go early. My wife and I, with our infant son, only waited about 15 minutes this past Friday, but I know that was fast. They only accept call-ahead reservations for parties of 5 or more. We were shocked at how quickly our food arrived after we ordered, and the catfish was excellent! We will definitely be going back.
