Their carnitas burrito was one of the best I've ever had.

Amazing burritos, freshly made tortillas and an amazing sauce too. I would call 15 minutes ahead they get busy because the food is so good. I would say it is the best burrito in Arcata or Eureka.

Alma's was a clear winner! I asked around the harbor which taco truck put out the best tacos, and got a dozen different answers, I got a bunch of what if's, and these and thems, but Alma's Mexican Food Truck kept popping up...So, off we went! I had my pal Peckerwood Pete with me, and he's in a lot of pain from a fight he had with an angry beaver, so he said ...we'll eat in the truck..okay. I'll tell you...those tacos were Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Wow! Homemade tortillas make each item I got a mouth-watering experience. Their mild and hot sauces are spot on. This is my new must-have food truck for Mexican food.

I’ve been going to Alma’s, on and off, for almost 20 years. I remember when they were a small food truck behind the bars on Arcata. They recently updated prices…. I paid $16 for a carnitas burrito, plus tip. That’s borderline inexcusable. I could go to any other local Mexican restaurant and get a complete dinner for that same price. The price increase makes me never want to go there again

Amazing food and amazing staff.

I had been a customer here for years, and at one point, a regular. I returned for the first time in a while and the food was even better than I remember! Chicken mole, chipotle chicken and Super Carne asada burritos ate my go to, and will often get the quesadilla wrapped versions of the 3 aforementioned burritos. Next visit, I'm going to try the Buffalo chicken burrito. The owners are amazing people!! I highly recommend.

Good food, nice experience, homemade tortillas. My wife and I shared the fajitas, plus 3 beers, wife .5 me 2.5 beers, dont judge the red salsa is good. Easily feeded us both.

Alma's has some of the best Mexican in the county! Their tortillas are fresh-made with a nice flouriness. Some burritos are heavy on the rice, some on the beans--Alma's leans towards beans, with plenty of sauce. My favorites are the popular al pastor (which has lots of pineapple!) and the chicken mole burritos

My go to spot everytime I'm craving a burrito. You just can't go wrong here. I highly recommend checking Alma's out. Especially if your big fan of homemade tortillas and Burritos the size of your head. 🌯🤯

Authentic, quick and decent prices.

We drove through from Nortb Idaho and stopped by this Mexican food truck and it is soooo good. We got the chimichanga and the enchilada combo. Super good. The service was 100%. The lady was so nice who took our order.

Best Mexican food in Northern California. The Asada burrito is delicious. You get a lot of food with every order. If they’re not slammed then the service is really quick. The only reason the atmosphere is three stars is because it’s a food trailer in the parking lot. Very clean looking food trailer.

Perfect place for lunch! The best food. The best homemade tortillas! Wow! Yum! Burritos are huge! They are awesome if you have special orders (like no dairy). My order is always perfect!

I was a little disappointed with how small my burrito was for almost $15. Other truck I’ve tried by renner the burritos are twice as big and less than $10.

Alma’s is the best food truck! Tortillas can make or break a Mexican dish, the fresh tortillas they have are amazing. Lots of good vegan options as well. If you are in the area I highly recommend!

Alma has it DOWN! In town for work and stumbled across the food truck. If your traveling through or close. Take the turn and try it out! Limited hours. I wish they did breakfast burritos early morning for all the work crews!!!

This is by far the best Mexican food truck in the world! They make their tortillas from scratch… The mole, quesadilla, and the beans and rice. You literally can’t order anything that isn’t heaven here. This place is a dream!

This place is amazing, it was delicious. We are visiting from out of town and called in for lunch. I had carne asada nachos, my husband had the carnitas burrito, one son had the shrimp burrito and the other had a shredded beef burrito. Everything was great, some of the best Mexican food I have had.

I have tried their tacos and they are amazing have yet to try the other food but the food is amazing and the staff is very nice great service worth it you won't be disappointed.

Catered our sons wedding & they wanted something different. Wasn't sure how this was going to turn out. It was FANTASTIC! Guests loved it & the food was excellent. Green salsa was superb. Would use them to cater parties as well. You can't go wrong.

Just had a veggie burrito (vegetarian beans, rice, hot salsa, guac, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese) and WOW! Tortillas are so fresh, salsa was perfectly spicy, so delicious! And the burrito was massive! For only $7.50 it was loaded with goodies :) highly recommend!

The best chicken out of all taco truck sin the area. Her hot salsa is not to be compared either. Friendly family run spot. So thankful she still has her solid truck! Miss the days when there were three 😋 Love you gals!!!

The mole (if you're not familiar this a dark sauce to put on literally any of the food) is the best i've ever tried. Could tell it was homemade with love as soon as I tasted it. The tortillas they use are wonderful too

Ate at this place about a year ago when we were in the area and spent the next year dreaming of their quesadilla burritos! Now we're back in the area and can't wait to head down and get more deliciousness!

This guy on here named robert gave it 4 stars stating it was literally because its simply a truck like wow honestly!! Some people need to expand their minds more .......tbh in my opinion if I had a choice between valley azteca, ritas, or almas , id still pick ALMAS. ..they are quick afortable and not to mention super delicious and filling everytime and to top it off they give all the right customer service I need to enjoy my meal AND. The rest of my day with a happy face

okay, you have to take this review in context. I'm giving it 4 stars because that's the highest rating I can give a taco truck, it is after all a taco truck. I would give it 5 stars, but I can't, because it is a taco truck. That said it is some of my favorite Mexican food in Arcata, and for a small town there are a lot of choices. The menu is diverse, they accommodate special requests, delicous vegetarian options, and they use two tortillas on their tacos. I probably eat here twice a week. The ladies that own and work there are the definition of friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
