Went just a week before the Lahaina fires but oh my goodness the braised pork belly and Mac and cheese pasta salad were my favourites! Not a whole lot of seating so it was a bit rough to “dine in” but other than that, the food was amazing. Highly recommend and hopefully the fires didn’t destroy this fantastic eatery.

So good!!! We ordered the Volcano Chicken and Loco Moco. Both were fantastic but the chicken was absolutely delicious! Best Mac Salad we’ve had in Maui so far. Even better than the food was the exceptional service. We had come down from hiking all day at Haleakala and had been looking forward to stopping here for a late lunch when we realized we were barely going to make it before closing. I called in and explained our situation and the lady was so friendly and understanding! We arrived right at closing and she had our food waiting and was nothing but smiles. Definitely recommend!

Volcano Chicken is flavorful, crispy but minimal batter so you taste the chicken. It was amazing fresh but the leftovers had me craving more. The Mac Salad is delicious! idk I think there’s a tiny bit of curry power or a secret spice that adds a depth you don’t get at most plate lunch spots. The NY Steak plate is cooked to order(rare to well done) & the sautéed mushrooms & onions are on point with the sauce. My favorite part of the Local Trio is the Pork Belly which is tossed with greens & shaved onion w just a hint of an acidic dressing to cut the crispy fat of the pork. So good! It was a well balanced plate & just so impressive that a dish this complex is served from a truck.

Amazing food and service! We noticed this food truck on google and Instagram while we were in Maui and very happy we made it here for lunch. The chicken had a lot of flavor with great sauces and the Mac salad was perfect. Would highly recommend this food truck if you’re in Maui!

The volcano chicken was amazing and the Mac salad was second best of any plate lunch I’ve had in Hawaii. Service was also top notch. There’s a reason this place has so many good reviews, try it!

We bought 3 different meals and they were all SO good ( especially the Furikake Mahi Mahi and the Steak Poke Bowl)!

Delicious freshly made food to order❣️ True to the other strong 5⭐️ reviews. Had the "Trio" which included mochiko volcano chicken, hamburger steak patty, and braised pork belly (like lechon kawali). Comes with rice, mac salad (best we've had in Maui so far), and herb slaw salad. It was our 1st time so an ideal way to try popular items on the menu. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Lahaina or driving through from an excursion. We wanted a snack as we were driving from Maalaea Harbor back to Ka'anapali resort after finishing the Molokini crater snorkeling. A lot of food so perfect to share!! 😋😍

I got the Hurricane Chicken and my wife got the Surf & Turf Burger with fries. Both meals were outstanding. Service was prompt and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Hands down, the best food truck on the island. I ordered the pork-belly plate with thai styled slaw. The pork-belly was extremely tender and it's fattiness contrasted well with the thai slaw. It was absolutely delicious!

Just do yourself a favor and try this food truck. There's some Aloha comming out of that that little kitchen. Ahi Trio & Volcano Chicken my wife and I ordered was so freaking good.

We were recommended to try this spot by our chocolate tour guide and are so happy that we did, the only downfall is that we wish we would have tried this spot sooner…DELICIOUS! We tried their special of garlic shrimp and hands down, this was one of the most flavorful shrimp dishes we have ever had. We cannot wait to come back to Maui to try all their other dishes! Aloha Braised is THE BOMB! Remarkably great food and friendly service. We went twice on our one week vacation and it’s been our favorite food we’ve eaten in Maui! Wish we had Aloha Braised back home!

Came here for lunch after Black Rock beach, we got the fried rice and volcano chicken. Everything was delicious, staff was welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend stopping here!

The reviews do not lie. This food was FANTASTIC. Huns and I shared the volcano and hurricane chicken plates and there is none left. I definitely consider myself a foodie with pretty high standards and this food did not disappoint.

worth the hype! loco moco and cookie were just ok, everything else was great. lemon caper ahi was a hit, volcano chicken and pork belly were exceptional. absolutely restaurant-quality food. best food truck the family has ever had.

FAV FOOD TRUCK!! The food is truly as good as it looks! We got the Volcano and Hurricane chicken along with fried rice. All amazing! Only thing I would change is to have more sauce, otherwise it’s mostly just the chicken. So maybe ask for more sauce, as will I, in the future! Sadly my photo below shows partly eaten food because it just smelled too good to not eat a little on the ride home! Still amazing :) Update: We asked for more sauce the next time we went and the food was absolutely perfect.

Aloha Braised Food Truck was my favorite place to eat here on Maui! It was SO incredibly delicious. Everything we ordered was top notch!

Solid volcano chicken. Fried rice is solid - tasty but a tad salty for my liking. The chicken is worth a second visit. Portion is good too.

Volcano chicken was very delicious. Highly recommend it! Must try! I replaced bacon and sauté with chicken for the fried rice and that was good too.

Hurricane chicken and fried rice bowl were both excellent. Delicious and great value for the area at $15 for the chicken (with sides of rice and mac salad) and $8 for loaded fried rice bowl.

Was closed first time we went, as we didn’t realize it was only open for lunch on certain days. Tried a second time and so glad we did as it was probably the best food truck we sampled on our trip. The grilled fish salad and hurricane chicken were definitely on a different level compared to other food trucks. The fish salad had a generous portion of capers in the citrus sauce/vinaigrette and the aioli sauce for the hurricane chicken was delicious. We also had a small portion of pork belly which was served with an interesting side salad of basil leaves and red onion; it was the perfect accompaniment to cut the fat. Will definitely be one of our first stops when we (hopefully) return to Maui next year!

Must try !!!!! If you see this review just stop and go try it !! We loved everything we ordered, even my picky son loved the chicken ! There’s def some love and pride put into the food. We had food at various locations ( expensive to small local place) this was the best meal we had while we were here. We try to support as many local places as we can ! So please skip the expensive hotel restaurants ( son steak house in Hyatt’s disappointed us ) please support the local Hawaiian ! This is def a must try !!

Ordered the pork belly moco with eggs and upgraded the rice to fried rice. The meal was amazing and highly recommended. Staff was friendly as well.

Best meal you’ll have on vacation. Not only is the food extremely tasty, the guys at the truck are so friendly! I think it’s the best friend rice I’ve ever had. It’s safe to say it lives up to the hype. I hope the next time I’m here they have a restaurant or more places to sit because they absolutely deserve it!

Solid loco moco and other local food options. Generous portions and high quality at a good price point. Your food takes a while but comes out hot and fresh. I’m gonna be back to try the fish options next.

My first lunch here. Didn't feel like dropping $50 at a Front Street restaurant, so tried this food truck. Very easy to find. Beautiful presentation. The marlin was firm but just ok on flavor. The macaroni salad was to die for! Garlicy and creamy. Three large pieces of fish served on a bed of shredded cabbage and sticky rice. Right next to Edge Food Truck, which was serving mahi mahi.

This place was so delicious! The food has so much flavor and some of the best flavors on the island! The prices are reasonable as well which Is another plus. The gentleman up front were helpful and friendly. I ended up ordering the hurricane chicken. If you are in the area please do yourself a favor and stop here, you will not be disappointed!

$55 for 3 meals plus fried rice. Service was excellent at this food truck. Guys were friendly and helpful. They recommended and explained it all. Location is convenient even if not on the main highway. It's right in front of the grocery store (also recommended). Food is great and a good deal.

First good truck spot on our honeymoon trip and it was so good. Got the Ahi trio and the Fried chicken plates. YUM!!!

Food truck is parked right outside of the grocery store on your way into the store. We ordered two plates, one was a delicious pork sausage plate, the other a steak and garlic shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection, but we liked the shrimp and steak just a little bit better. Mac salad side was delicious as well. Good spot to stop at on your way in or out of the Lahaina area

Stopped by here for lunch and got the Volcano Chicken. Got a decent sized portion of nicely seasoned chicken with a spicy aioli sauce. Delicious!

Aloha Braised is AMAZING!! The quality/amount of food that you get for the price cannot be beat by anywhere else on the island. Every item we tried was delicious, especially the poke bowl. The staff is also super friendly and the service is fast!

Stumbled on this little gem on accident Today! Had the Furikake Ahi (mouthwatering delicious),Volcano Chicken (perfectly cooked chicken with the best combo of spices), Steak poke (sounded intriguing so I had to get it/ was super delicious and refreshing to eat) and teriyaki chicken for the little human( she inhaled it). We ordered extra because there was too many good things to choose from. Also loved the crew that worked this truck super funny guys. All around great experience

This is going to be dangerous because they are walking distance from my townhouse. Mom said, “Best mac salad ever”. I love the mahi-mahi furikake. The fish was cooked perfectly and the garlic aioli drizzle is delicious. You must love garlic for this dish.

This place is pretty good and reasonably priced. I got the Braised Pork Belly with Thai Slaw, it also came with a side of rice and mac salad onkt $10! Great deal. The pork belly was cooked well and just fell apart, the Thai Slaw was unfortunately only a few strands of cabbage, because the slaw sauce was amazing. I would've gotten that just as a side.

Located in a truck next to Island grocery depot, Aloha Braised has some of, if not the best local food on the island. They have a rotating menu with a variety of local favorites from loco moco to ahi plates and much more. First day I tried the NY steak plate and chow fun, loved it so much I had to come back and try poke steak. All were absolutely delicious. Next time I'm back on the island I'll most definitely be back.
