Best tasting Hamburgers in Greenville!! The staff is super nice and quickly accommodates customers. If you love a great Hamburger, you absolutely need to visit Alpha Restaurant.

This use to be one of our favorite spots but under new management the quality has gone way down.

The food has gone down hill as fast as their prices have gone up. 25 minutes in the drive through with 1 car in the parking lot for a chicken gyro that was almost uneatable. Spent more on a club plate and 1 gyro as I spent on 2 steaks and sides at Texas Roadhouse. Sad to see how what was a great local place is now garbage.

Pricing seem nice the food was okay but I’m not so kind of the amount of fries and onion rings that were given out . And my lettuce was brown

One of the best hole-in-the-wall burger joints you'll find for miles. They changed ownership a while back, and I was afraid their quality would drop after that. It did not. So glad this place is nearby, it's so good.

Ordered a chilli cheese burger plate that came with fries and a tea no salad or slaw also ordered a side of 6 chicken nuggets. The order came to $16.07. Thought it was a bit much for what I ordered.

We love Alphas! I get the cheeseburger meal with onion rings and a tea and it never disappoints. The seasoning on the patty makes the burger absolutely delicious, and the onion rings have the perfect amount of salt and are so flavorful - they might be the best I’ve ever had. We also get the tacos - literally so good. The family never fights over where to eat when Alphas is suggested, each member of our family has a favorite on the menu. In addition the service is always friendly and they provide a great experience every time.

Tonight was my fourth time here and EVERY TIME it has been delicious. Cheeseburger was cooked fresh, served on a soft warm bun, fries were piping hot, coleslaw is just how I like it. I really can’t recommend this place enough.

Best Philly I have had in a while

I have been here twice for lunch so thought I would write a review. I got the same thing both times, chicken tenders & fries with a lemonade . It comes with a roll & I believe Cole slaw ( but I'm not a fan of Cole slaw, so I skip that) The chicken tenders are lightly breaded just how I like it! Fries are good & I absolutely love the money mustard sauce!! As we all know, the sauce can make or break it. There is plenty of food for 2 meals so I only eat half. It's right over $10 with tax so not bad. The employees are nice ( even complementing me on my boots😊 which are lit...) But anyways, it's a step up from fast food, it's good & filling. I will continue to come back & recommend this place to others. Keep doing what you do Alpha!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The absolute BEST food and customer service experience. I LOVE Alpha and eat here as often as possible. The prices are fair and the menu is delicious 😋. It is difficult to prepare a Gyro right and Alpha NAILS IT. Their fried Okra - AMAZING 👏 Burgers are flavorful and juicy. Fries are perfectly seasoned and their sweet tea is to die for! Give Alpha a try. They WILL NOT disappoint.

Cute and clean little restaurant. The food was super fresh and soooo delicious. The gyro especially was amazing. Real authentic gyro meat (not microwaved stuff) on THE BEST pita to exist. It was warm and crispy but soft and sooo garlicky. Great sauce. Not from area but will stop again next time we go to Taylor's.

If you like the old fashioned burger places, this is one you want to try. The burgers are very tasty, with real lettuce leaves and slices of tomatoes. Their fridge okra instead of fries hits the spot. People are friendly and fast with your order, too.

I love this place The food here is awesome I really love the tacos they have great tacos there. The manager Felipe is awesome everyone that worked there so nice. If you're looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat some burgers and fries tacos this is the place to go.

The new owners are awful! Food isn't the same, less portions, very slow service, they had dogs in there one night when I was gonna get food. I Really miss the old owners!

Fast friendly service. Fries were burn your mouth fresh, Philly cheese steak was very good. Portions were perfect for the price. We would definitely go back. The onion rings taste legit like funnyuns, yummy.

Thank you for being open! Been going here since I was a kid. Somehow it's gotten better. Quality has gone up in a time where quality always goes down. The funnel fries are a must try and I don't know if it's the owner or the manager but they have a great presence and smile 😁 always feel welcomed. Dope place Great hangover food! Or just the perfect cheat day meal!

Very disappointed I hope you get better. The hotdog was good but it fell apart the hotdog bun. The onion rings were ok but needed to be cooked longer.The ice tea was horrible. It tasted old.

I ordered a plate with a sandwich and fries and it usually comes with the coleslaw they stop doing that with the new owners I guess. Used to be six or seven dollars for sandwich now it’s 1102 with tax. Price went up quite a bit.

Decent meal, I do like eating here but there was not anything special about it. There are other places in the area that I prefer. It is good but there are better options.

I used to say, after a bad day, "nothing a good Alpha meal can't fix." Now under these new owners eating at Alpha is a bad experience. Like others said, The Clock and Carolina Express have my business now.

This place has new ownership who obviously are trying to run the place in the ground. The portions are half of what they used to be and the prices are much higher than the competition. Steer clear. They changed the fries, removed all flavor from the food and lowered their standards. Plates no longer include cole slaw. I will not be going back. Go to Carolina Express or the Clock for great food!

New Owners. They increased the prices, reduced the portions, and removed slaw from the plates. The steak finger plate was 2 small pieces of cube steak the size of a quarter. The fries are no longer cribkle fries and were cold and soggy. Stick with the Clock, the Palmetto or Carolina Express for great local fast food. This is not the Alpha you remember.

The food was average at best. The sweet tea tasted old and very weak in flavor. There was an additional charge to have ranch dressing as a dip. I won't be back.

Great place for burgers and dawgs!

It has been quite awhile since I ate from here. My friend and I stopped by for a salad. I had grilled chicken chef salad (8.99), my friend had a chef salad (6.99). So disappointed in our salads! They were served on a paper plate and not very much of a salad. The lettuce was a single layer and not very much of it. The ham was very salty. I had to go and ask for a couple packs of crackers. Again, so disappointed for the price! The dining room is nice but the tv was on so loud we could hardly hear ourselves talking. I am not saying I will not return but I will definitely not buy a salad. Outrageously pricey!

Hi I worked here during the previous owners and this place is under new ownership, disregard all reviews before a month ago, the new owners dont care and have no idea what they're doing. It is a failing business. Dont waste your money here. I recommend carolina fine foods it's not too far from this place.

The food is decent and the staff are friendly, the restaurant was recently purchased and the new owner is trying to make improvements.

This place used to be incredible. Just about the best hamburger you could get in Greenville. Now though, since new owners have taken over, the quality and taste of the food has really taken a turn for the worst. My hamburger was cold, tasteless and missing pickles.The fries were cold and are no longer the thick steak fries. It’s clear to see that the new owners have cut down on expenses and I’m disappointed to say I won’t be returning.

This resturant has new ownership and the food was awful, nothing like the previous owners. Had a Hamburger plate with half and half. The burger was ok, but the fries where so under cooked and the onion rings were the worst I ever eaten. The plate always came with slaw, but not this time. I will never be back, and way over priced.

Under new owners and very disappointed! Twice within 8 weeks I ordered to go. A cheeseburger n onion rings. A chicken gyro n onion rings. Cheeseburger was cold, tomatoe was flavorless, small piece of onion and skimpy lettuce. Onion rings were revolting! Mushy, oily, limp..not crisp or cooked AND just three rings. Bill of fare wasn't far! Chicken gyro was tasteless n tough. Again, onion rings Mushy, oily n not crisp or cooked. Not happy n won't go back!

Edit/Update: After visiting this restaurant several times and enjoying their food, my wife got severe food poisoning about a month ago after eating here. Avoid this place! First Review: Our family absolutely loves this place! We found it while looking for a new restaurant to try in the area and were not disappointed. We like it so much that we have been going here at least once per week since we found out about it! Everything is hot and fresh and their sauces and dressings are all home made. Their hamburger steak is the best I have had in a while and their fried okra is awesome. We will definitely be back!

This is a family owned restaurant and it’s one of my favorites. As good as their burgers are nothing can beat their legendary chicken tenders. I recommend them all the time and I could easily eat it multiple days in a row. I strongly recommend you to eat here.

This restaurant is owned by a very dear family that attends my church! Their food is very tasty including their hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and all of the items can be purchased singly or as a plate, specifically order to your perfection, with the most delicious cole slaw, french fries,and condiments. They also have the most delicious Greek salad! You really need to check out their menu! There are many other items available! Thank you George and Mrs. Hrysikos for outstanding meals! ❤️

The owners care and it shows! A small family-run location with homemade dressings, personal touches on each order and helpful, caring people. Small and quaint and definitely worth visiting. Everything served fresh and hot! We visit often.

The outside doesn't look like much, but there's a saying for situations like this: "don't judge a book by its cover". Wow, is this place amazing! Burgers, egg sandwiches (they know what's up), seafood, gyros, baklava, salads, turkey, roast beef, BBQ (pulled pork), etc. These guys are the real deal! Super friendly service, and promptly bring you your food. You owe it to yourself to check it out!

This place is always busy and with my work schedule I always get there as they close or before they open. Well not today! Today we went right as they opened and got a surprise for our taste buds! Everything is so amazing and presentation was almost as beautiful as the taste is! Def recommend this place!

I grew up in Taylors and ate from here back in the 70's. Then it had a different owner. My understanding is that it is family owned. My best friend actually lives in Taylors and asked if I wanted to take out a cheeseburger plate. Absolutely. The burger had such good flavor and didn't look like alot of patties that are all the same size, etc. It looked and tasted homemade to me. The slaw was good but had a yellow color unlike white, which I am use to. Maybe it was made with mustard. I'm not sure. The fries tasted good and there were alot of them, but I would have preferred a crispier fry. Overall, it was very good and I will definitely return.
