My boyfriend and I stopped in after a fun trip to Party Source 🎉 This place was a recommendation from some of my boyfriend's regular customers from work. They said it was a fun, themed placed with great food. I can definitely vouche for the theme and the vibes. Incredible and interesting decor. I even took a picture of the "Landlady" (Yuen Qiu), from Kung Fu Hustle, my favorite movie, that was on the back of one of the beautifully painted on chairs. The food was good. It wasn't anything too different. At first... You see, I love spicy food. And when they said I could get ghost peppers in my "General's Chicken" I of course got it lol Wasn't spicy at all when I had it in the restaurant. Ah... well *coughs* Yeah, after a few days in my fridge, it became 🔥 🔥 🔥. No regrets 😉 Warning: I'm a professional spice connoisseur. Hot wings are baby food to me.

Great up and coming neighborhood unique and fun atmosphere restaurant. Food with a picturist view. Greeted with a comforting smile and ended the same. All was welcomed..

We rolled in about an hour before closing. The service was great and very kind with our kids (especially considering it was nearing the end of their shift). The food was delicious Asian-American fusion.

I love this place. I come here every time I visit Cincinnati! I always get the Orange chicken with a level 5 spice - it's great! Their spice level goes 1 to 10, 1-3 is chili oil, 4-6 is adding habenero, and 7-10 is ghost pepper and should be entered into with caution. The hot and sour soup is some of the best and who doesn't love a good crab rangoon!!

Asked for well done, food came out in 2 minutes unheard of working in food industry for 10 years, obviously soggy sesame chicken..... No excuses for this trash

It is very delicious. I had a satisfying meal on the second day of my solo trip to the United States. I had pepper steak and Kirin beer. So delicious! All the staff are as friendly as angels.

One of my favorite restaurants I’ve tried. When we were seated, the owner greeted us and happily walked through some of the best choices on the menu, seemed super enthusiastic and proud of the restaurant. Service was good and quick, food was amazing and huge portions. I had enough to take leftovers home for another meal. Definitely will go again.

Delicious food! Wonderful selection of sake and beer. Definitely suggest the szechuan chicken or the mapo tofu. The spicy level is 1-10. I ordered a 3 heat level and that was plenty spicy for me, but if you like spicy, order a 4! Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

So good. Veggie Kung Pao at level 5 heat was just right for my taste. Fly rice was delicious as well. Hot N Sour soup was amazing. Great place with great service.

This is definitely a good place to introduce others to asian food without being too adventurous. I can’t say its authentic. Its more americanized but the overall idea is there! Dynamite eggroll was good not spicy for me at all but I can handle spice. Crab Rangoons is a must get. Its so delicious and the fried wrapper taste amazing! Beef How fun noodles - Loved the char on the wide noodles. It gave it more flavor. Generals Chicken - tasted like any other chinese american orange chicken dish. But I did love the pickled cucumber. They do have a spice level 1-10 I believe. We got 3 and it wasn’t spicy at all. This space overall is cool to see! Very Kungfu themed and lots of art inside.

We visited for dinner while staying at the Marriott in Covington. Wonderful service and excellent food. We will go out of our way to eat here the next time we are in town.

Went here for the first time a few days ago and it was amazing! The pork egg rolls were the best I have ever had! I would seriously come here just to get the egg rolls! The hot and sour soup was also amazing. The sesame chicken was a little more crispy than I prefer but flavor wise was really good. The Chicken Fly rice (fried rice) was very yummy also. This is the best American chinese restaurant I've had in a very long time!The owner was very friendly and comes to the tables to check on everyone to make sure they're enjoying their meal. All and all we really enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be back again! I'm very excited to find such a great restaurant in the downtown area. ☺️

Food was okay. Could have been more flavorful, but the beef was tender. The portion size was adequate. The resturant was very trendy.

Love going here every time I'm in the Cincinnati area. Terrific food, the hot and sour soup is amazing. I had the Garlic Chicken the last time and it was terrific. Service is always great, like the remodel too.

Amerasia never disappoints although the spice level can vary depending on the day you go! It’s hard not to get the General Tso Chicken and the lo mein is a worthy upgrade! I get spice level 5, which is hot enough to feel the heat but still be able to enjoy the food!

Place had a great vibe plenty of ppl eating. We were created right off the bat by a great guy. He went over the menu with us and even helped us pick a beer we liked. Oh and the food was great I recommend the pork belly

Love Amerasia food! On date night yesterday we went to this restraunt we frequently eat. Not too long a wait, we sat out our table and I noticed they changed the decor which we liked. Placed our orders and food arrived quickly. Waiters are very friendly and the food was delicious. I did notice that the flavors have increased and the heat level doe! Whatttt? They give you hot oil on the side if you needed more heat. We ordered Buddha Delight vegetarian and broccoli stir fry and egg rolls. Yummy in my tummy. 🤗🙏🏽 Will give them 5 stars.

Legit the worst service. The Host was so rude and I asked a question and she completely ignored my mother and I. The food was meh too. Ordered sesame chicken and the chicken was over cooked and way too saucy.

I walked in to this restaurant and was hit with so many references of famous Asian movies all the chairs had so many characters from the movies the food was amazing the employees were so nice and friendly easy five stars 😊🔥😊

Dining in = 4.5 stars Carryout = 3 stars I did a carry out order and received the wrong food. I got one item of my order correct, but for a 41 dollar order, it should be correct. Good taste great otherwise. Left a voice mail with no response. I'll be sure to dive in for now on...

The howfun noodles with fried tofu and the vegetable soup with mushroom broth (all vegan) would be my last meal on Earth if I had to choose. What more can I say! Love this place and their people

I got takeout from here and omg it was spicy but so good. Got the garlic chicken (level 7) and how fun noodles with chicken and fried tofu (level 7) as well as the hot and sour soup. I think the garlic chicken was my favorite (I ordered it too spicy, but it was still amazing). Apparently at level 7, they start using ghost pepper, so next time I may need to go down to a 6... The noodles were a bit dry but I plan on going in person next time and will give them another shot because they had good flavor. I would pass on the hot and sour soup though, as it was sweet for some reason and way too oily. There wasn't enough vinegar and the consistency was wrong... Maybe I'll try their wonton soup next time? Overall a great experience and this was only takeout!

What a cool restaurant! The Singapore style noodles are top notch. Can’t wait to come back again.

If you love Martial Arts inspired TV shows and movies, you’ll LOVE this place’s atmosphere. The food is some of the best Chinese and Chinese inspired cuisine I’ve ever had. Our group had Crab Rangoon and Pot stickers to start and the Kung Pow Chicken, How Fun Chicken and Chow Mei Fun Chicken entrées. All were fantastic! The spice levels go from 1-10. 1 and 2 are super mild. 3 is comfortable spicy. 4 is when they begin using habaneros and 7-10 is ghost pepper. Be careful after 4! Gets hella hot hella quick. The service was friendly, helpful and very fast! Great all-around experience! Will be back! It’s delicious and fun!

Would’ve been 5 stars but the spice scale is humiliating. I often eat fairly spicy dishes without any problem. So ordering a 3/10 spicy level (their description of a 2/10 is “am I having a 1 or 3?!”…. So seeing this statement and enjoying some spice, I ordered my general chicken 3/10 spice. Either made wrong or Nashville hot chicken, buffalo wings in hot sauce, and earl Campbells hot links are all the mildest of mild. Like 1/10 on this spice gradient. Disappointed that the great flavor of the dish was covered up by excessive heat and a humiliating scale and description of spiciness.

We stopped on our way to Indy and now we’re considering stopping again on our way back. Food was delicious and they had a gluten free menu was a major plus!

Very fun restaurant, the art alone is worth a visit. Food was excellent. What need work is the menus, getting trashed and just feel dirty. The picture book was very helpful, but is used and abused. Simple refresh on the menus would go a long way. Server was busy, but this was hot and came out quick.

What a great find it was!! Such a cool space with excellent interiors, a really nice bar space, great service and even better food!. They do the American Asian fusion right. I like how almost everything on the menu is customizable giving plenty of options for people such as myself who are vegetarian. We started with some crab Rangoon which were so creamy and crispy at the same time. For the mains we got the cashew chicken, Garlic tofu and Ma po Tofu. Everything tasted really good. Some of my friends also tried their cocktails and they had no complaints. The place is busy for the most part but they do a good job managing the wait times. We only had to wait for 10 mins on a Saturday.

I've always loved this place but it's not the same. If you order anything with heat, you will only taste chili oil. I recently ordered $50 worth of food ( 2 dishes + dumplings) and it all tasted the same (chili oil) and I had to throw it away. It was very disappointing.

they didn't pack the food well and it spilled in the bag. disappointing!!

I have ordered from here several times. Chicken Lomein and Fried Rice are my two absolute favorite from this place. I appreciate the owner of this place a lot. He is really caring and helpful. I got Chicken Lomein and Veggie Spring Rolls today. Lomein was exact spicy i wanted and good but SPRING ROLLS? I was so disappointed. I got two I couldn’t even eat one. It was so plain…only cabbage that too like not cooked properly and tasteless. Could have been a lot better!!!

The food was ok, it was American Asian. They forgot one of the orders of Crab Rangoon and when I called they took care of it. The service was outstanding and it was very nicely decorated inside. I'll definitely eat there again.

I had googled Chinese near me when I realized my regular Chinese restaurant was closed today. I wasn’t sure what to expect and had some hesitations driving there. I was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, friendly workers, the prices and especially the food!!! It was amazing and will definitely be back!!

My partner and I went there for date night and it went great. The place was busy, but they have a system where you can a QR code just inside the door to be added to the waitlist. We could track our place in line and took a walk around the block. The decor was super cool; references to decades of kung fu movies. The waitress was very personable and I regret not ordering what she recommended despite my food being excellent(which it was). I can't wait to go back!

They have no idea how to spice their food. Spice level 4 is twice as hot as 3. We always order a level 3 and it’s never hot enough, but recently a level 3 has so much chili oil in it you cant taste the dish. They give you half the rice you’d expect. The only thing on the menu I’ll ever order again is the Imperial Beef Stew

Used to love this place, now it's lacking on quality and consistency overall. Dishes aren't always the same. What you get is a little different every time. Portion or ingredient and taste. Too bad because I really used to love ALL their food. What happened guys?

What a delicious place for some authentic Chinese cuisine. Had a meal here with a buddy from work that was in town. He wanted some Chinese’s and Kung Food had been on my list for some time now. Glad we came. The Generals chicken was as on point and the Crab Rangoon was AMAZING. Looking forward to coming back with the wife soon. See you all then. Thanks Kung Food.

Been going for many years, never a disappointment!

Had a great dinner last week at KungFood. I have celiac and the waitress was super knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t eat also having celiac herself. There was a dedicated gluten free menu and she made recommendations on items that were already gf and what substitutions could be made

Amazing time. Visiting Covington for a woodworking class we came here on recommendation. Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. Great beers. Wonderful saki. Found things for us and our toddler to eat and we came by the way of the tank shuttle from our hotel in Cincinnati that allowed us adults to both enjoy what we call "spicy beverages"

My hotel suggested this restaurant. The said it was small like a take out spot. We decided to eat there, best decision. Great food, professional and friendly staff. My husband likes it so much he went back a the next night. Thanks to Justin (bartender) for being situationally aware, for calling 911 and eventually saving my husbands life. I am forever grateful. The atmosphere, the food, the vibe so what’s not to like. Good pot stickers was a great choice because good was an understatement. Garlic chicken slightly hot with fried rice was also a great choice and only added to the glutney session. Service was fast and accurate. Parking was easy and we came in through the carryout door. What a nice find indeed.

Nice little spot to eat. Typical Chinese food with a twist, nice spicy categories, habenero and ghost pepper. Decent liquor and beer selection. The pork belly was a little overcooked, but the pot stickers were on spot. I'll be back to try other items on the menu.

The bartenders and waitresses and owner are all wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is excellent. I recommend sitting at the bar to get more of the Personal Touch but they have so much good food and terrific customer service.

Seriously the best!! I had a dish called Birds Nest -super fresh & delicious. We were with another couple, and all four of us loved our food. The cocktails were unique and tasty as well.

GOLDORAK ..4 starts because even if you order a zero heat you might have to drink a gallon of water to dissipate the spiciness. Not a deal breaker at all . But as I get older I rather taste every single ingredients than just having a cucumber tasting the same as a carrot...... Biiiiiig up if you know who this is .... Went there tonight for an Uber eats delivery pick and waited for over 20 minutes for order. Already had an order in car for another customer. So cancelled it. Horrible service tonight

We come to this restaurant at least twice if not more a month all the way from Dayton Ohio. Food is amazing, staff is wonderful, but their wait policy is horrible. If you put your name on waiting list and walk away, it should be your responsibility to be back as a customer. We were told that we have 8 groups a head of us and tables were empty, however per their policy they have to give 10 minutes to each group before we can be seated. That means empty tables will stay empty and we would have to wait 80 minutes to be seated. Does that even make sense to make your present customers wait for so long to wait for those who are not even present. Not happy at all. This restaurant is amazing, food is amazing and Staff is amazing, no complaints about that at all, but waiting policy is horrible.

Everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious. They have an excellent cocktail menu that includes these fun souvenir cups that you can take home (I took home the orange Tiki man!). Also, they have a pretty diverse menu which includes some traditional Chinese classics like Szechuan (my personal favorite) as well as all the amerasia favorites.

Un restaurante oriental muy americanozado, El sabor de la comida es muy bueno y el servicio al cliente increíble. Me gustaría que fuera más variado el menú pero lo que hay es bueno, Y no tiene parqueo propio hay que pagar por estacionar.

Best beef lo mein and hot and sour soup I've ever had. Online ordering was easy with tons of options. Staff was very friendly at pick up. (Little added bonus.... there was some pretty good music on in there...) Got the lunch special. Hefty portion of beef lo mein(i made two meals out of it), perfect amount of hot and sour soup and a delicious pork egg roll all for $12.40 Better yet I walked from work to pick up my order. It was very cold outside, and when I got back my food was still piping hot. Very satisfied. Will be ordering more often!

What a delicious surprise. We did take-out as the wait was over an hour. The food was exciting-different. The hot and sour soup was on the sweet side and a wonderful surprise. The egg rolls were so fresh tasting and light. Not fried within an inch of their life like most places. Orange chicken, chicken with cashews, and sesame chicken were all delicious. Pot stickers were outstanding as well.

This restaurant is in a store front location and have both bar and table seating. Given the quality of the food and setting it's no surprise that they were packed out tonight. None the less we had a great meal at a very reasonable price, with very little wait.
