The only negative thing I could say about the business has nothing to do with the excellent food, good prices or the attentive waitresses. The only bad thing is the parking.

I really never write reviews, but the food we had tonight was absolutely amazing. We ordered take out and walked over to get it, they have a great outdoor area as well as a great atmosphere on the inside dining room too. Everything was hot and ready when we got there, servers were extremely nice, and the food was amazing. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We definitely decided we’ll be coming here often!

Hair in my piña colada. Throw up in the bathroom sink. Atmosphere was very shady.

This is another place. I’ve been to many times. It’s a Dominican run place that used to be cheap, but they recently upgraded and added a hookah lounge and renovated their space so now the prices reflect that they have a full bar and coffee. During the high to season and during weekends, they stay open 24 hours and they recently added DoorDash to their delivery options. I really like their empanado de Pechuga. The waitresses are nice and see you coming in. They have outside patio it’s nice.

Food took a long time and it was under seasoned and no sear on anything :/ nice waitresses though

This place used to be great all around . After the daughter took over it’s painted gray and the food sucks ! I asked for a grilled Swiss cheese breakfast sandwich. It wasn’t Swiss cheese, it was horrible, one slice of the fakest cheese ever . I didn’t eat it !

One of my favorite places to go when I visit PR. Food is amazing - highly recommend trying one of their pina coladas!

Went in the morning today 6/25/24. Only one person working and she was great and friendly. The food was really good and the prices are better. Gotta gran the coffee here btw.

The food was excellent and made to order. The only thing that could be improved is the speed of the service but I would definitely return because the food was very good.

OMG. I’m so in love. The food is fantastic! They have drink specials which is a great value. The shrimp mofongo is divine. The pork chops are seasoned well and grilled to perfection. The soup is so tasty too. I’m a VERY satisfied customer 😋

Ill start by saying the service was great. I didn’t care for the food much. For the rating it has received and the price I expected better. Would not dine again.

Had the chicken in garlic and lemon sauce. Tons of flavor. Server was also friendly which is always a plus.

Came in around 4:30 and the place was empty. My husband and I are early eaters. I ordered a mofongo with beef steak and my husband ordered the Pollo a la plancha with rice and beans. The food was soo flavorful, the mofongo came with lettuce and tomatoes and was topped with beef steak peppers and onions. The chicken my husband ordered was AMAZING and I had a bit of food envy. All in all the place was very welcoming and we will be coming back during our stay here in PR.

On our first trip to Puerto Rico, for our honeymoon, we went to this place for breakfast. We really liked it, a local place, the very comfortable terrace and the pleasant staff and delicious food.

We got soft tacos, mofongo, rice and chicken, and plantains, as well as pina coladas. All of it was delicious and excellent!

We really enjoyed our food and were glad to have fast friendly service because it can be rough to find something open. I had the garlic chicken mofongo relleno and it was so tasty!

We visited this location intending to order a nice meal. We decided to sit outdoors. The tables and chairs were extremely dusty from the street. After bringing it to our Server’s attention, she wiped first the seats, then the surface of the table with the visibly dirty rag. She gave us menus that felt sticky. We proceeded to order drinks, but then I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no soap to be found anywhere. I immediately cancelled the food order we had just placed as I refuse to eat in any establishment with such subpar cleaning standards. If there’s no soap in the bathroom how are the employees washing their hands??? It’s in a nice location where there are numerous other options.

Would not recommend the cheeseburger.

We had yummy food, per usual for PR. But it looked more special than it was.

Ana'a is one of the restaurants that I loved the most on the trip. Every day I decided to go for dinner! The first day I arrived in PR, January 5, the girls who were working at night were lovely, they took great care of us. But on January 8 and 9, the waitress in the afternoon at 2pm, what a rude woman, she doesn't greet you, she doesn't speak, she doesn't have any manners. Now I understand why people don't go with that attitude, their clientele is leaving even though the food is delicious.

We went looking for some brunch on January 1st, 2024. The place we originally had decided to go to was extremely busy-2 hour wait time. We decided to come here instead. We walked in and although they were somewhat busy it didn’t seem it would be too bad of a wait time. But we were wrong. It took a while for us to get the menu. After that a lady came in by herself and sat at the bar. Then a couple came in and sat and also got service before we did. Then the server finally took our order for the drinks only even tho we told her we were ready to order our food as well. She seemed to not want to be there working. Maybe because it was the new year or because it was just her and someone else for a busy place. A family that was there before us walked out after waiting over 40 minutes for their food. We on the other hand hadn’t even had the chance to order. After almost leaving ourselves (the kids were hungry and didn’t want to go looking elsewhere) our order was finally taken. And then our food only took like 20 minutes after ordering. Server was apologetic at the end and the food was really good. I wish the service had been great from the very beginning. Regardless I might consider giving them another try.

We ordered fried red snapper with creole sauce. There was no seasoning in the creole sauce. It was as bland as it could be. The beans were average as well.

I had the fish tacos, fried plantains and orange juice. Tacos were below par, plantains were bland, and orange juice turned out to be not fresh. Service was trash too - i was one of three people in the restaurant yet food, and cheque took too long to come. Based on past reviews, this place might have been great but seems now to have gone downhill.

Definitely worth the price! The arroz con pollo dish came out steaming hot with sweet plantains and a side salad. Good thing I was extra hungry, otherwise a to-go box would have been needed. Delicious blend of herbs and spices.

I thought the rice mamposteao was unusally sour but rationalized during the meal it must be something i was confused with. Looked up the ingredients later and nope, there is no reason for it to taste sour. I threw up on my way home. Thought they couldn’t possibly serve such blatantly spoiled food. Nope i was wrong. We had the BEST Chillo fish (snapper) with garlic sauce. Also fantastic Mofongo de Camarones en Ajo - my favorite!

We stayed nearby At Wind Chimes Boutique, this restaurant was an 8 minute walk from our hotel. On our way we came across small shops, pharmacies and bars. The staff was friendly and attentive. Music was a good mix of English and Spanish. Cute patio with a swing, we sat outside after eating and interacted with locals and enjoyed the spontaneous rain showers of PR. The drinks were great, the food was a lot and delicious ! The prices were affordable! Ana’s cafe was one of our favorite places to eat at. I got the chuleta ahumada plate and it came with rice, beans, salad and the chuleta for $13! It’s family friendly. There’s a bar, and I believe at night it shifts to an adult ambience as they also serve hookah.

Since we were in the area due to a flight cancelation, this place was a better option for us. I had order Cuban sandwich in different places and I must say the one here was the best. My hubby was very pleased with his breakfast and my daughter also enjoyed her food. Our waitress was very nice and friendly.

Get the fish shrimp ceviche, so 😋 delicious! Friendly staff and good prices.

This place was terrible. Everything that came out tasted like it was kept in a fridge and just reheated. Certain parts of our food were hot, and then others were completely cold. We ordered the chicken stuffed mofongo, the crab stuffed mofongo, the arroz con camarones, and a side of arroz con habichuelas. As we already made a couple of remarks of how it was cold, and were then ready to go, they offered to reheat the meal. Yeah, no thanks. To top it off, the meal cost $100 with the drinks. Down to earth cooking here. Needed a break from the fried foods, loud cafes and $$$ locations. Sopao de pollo was a big old dinner sized bowl of tomato based chicken soup with big chicken chunks. The Medalla was so cold it had frost on it, that went down fast. This is the kind of place that needs to stay open, so come here for some basic PR food with some nice variations, and the ice cold beer.

Nothing too standing out for me, mofongo and fried bread fruit were both mediocre. Steamed whole snapper had decent taste, but quality is low for its price. A no-frills spot, portions are good for the price but I had a few issues with this restaurant that make me think it’s overrated. Found this place by walking around the neighborhood. Friends and I were hungry so decided to check it out. It definitely was a nice spot with great food.
