50 year anniversary for Angelo's

Owner was extremely rude when I came in to make a complaint about my pizza. I didn’t have anger in my voice nor was I rude to them. The lady who worked the phone was friendly. He blamed me for it not looking like extra cheese because I asked for it to be lightly cooked. All I wanted was my money back for the extra cheese. He came back out the kitchen raising his voice at me concerning the matter while I was talking to the lady about how he spoke to me. I mentioned I was the customer as in that’s just not how to speak to a customer as in verbally yelling/raised tone and upset especially if the customer isn’t giving that. He said the customer isn’t always right. This was all over cheese. He made me feel disrespected all while I wasn’t rude to him. Its not what you say but how you say it. The owner definitely doesn’t know how to speak to customers that he disagrees with. I’ve NEVER had an owner speak to me like that. I would have went back in and asked for a refund and gave back the pizza because he made the experience so negative, but I didn’t want to risk another confrontation with him.

Don't care about customer food being Madd wrong will never eat here again.

We ordered pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and light green peppers. Why do we have onions on our pizza. I guess I have to go without dinner. Lady going to ask me how do we know we made it wrong if dont bring it back. We 45 mins away from store so long drive to change pizza and offer me 5 dollars off next pizza. I'm done with this place.

Love the idea of free refills on soda and water, but I wish they had beer like they did!

I ordered the large supreme with the fried ravioli as an appetizer. The ravioli was really good with the meat sauce. The pizza had tons of toppings and the pizza sauce combined with the cheese set it apart from any other pizza that i have eaten. It is a St. Louis style pizza but it was the best pizza of any kind that i have ever eaten.

Favorite pizza and food for the last 40 years. Always good service eating in or carry out. Children come home and always want an Angelo pizza

The pizza was horrible! The sauce was bland the bread was tasteless..... I still can't tell you what it tastes like and I don't have COVID! Nice people but I'll never go back again FOR PIZZA! Maybe try something else next time...

There good there bad they make up all of our families sometimes u hate them sometimes you love them I've worked here many years there protective of there family even when unnecessary and even when it brings harm to others they refuse to pay you sometimes for hours worked or pay in cash to protect there own interests. They feed the police department so be careful when you go against them but most of all I miss Nona the best lady who isnt here no more the only one who deserves my affection always wishing the best and asking me in Italian she didn't speak English so you had to figure out what she was saying. As the generations exchange ownership I don't believe they ever will live up to the original owners legacy and hope to know what they are receiving Angelo from what I know was well respectable and helpful to the community. I never met Angelo but Nona was an older lady who I admired and never said no when I had to help pick her up of the floor at there house but I do feel like the kids and now grandchildren ignore the legacy that they have inherited although there grandkids fight and don't agree the eldest I believe is the boss here know she tries to be more professional than her younger sister. I haven't been in there since a 27 yo worker attacked a 60 yo worker and I ended up in the middle being the smallest guy there I could t see the 60 year old 170 lb man getting attacked by the 27 year old 280 lb man and I was attacked after then fired when I called the police they said if I made a complaint they would arrest me while they were still digesting the spegatti that night. But the same police force would stop in and check on me while I was dealing with my addiction and going through the worst time in my life. This is my neighborhood and these are the many faces here. I'm 3rd generation as are the owners here welcome to my hood the food is great and we are complicated but don't let that stop you from getting great pizza here. This is the perrone family also brought salos and perrones pizza great food sometimes have hard attitudes but deep down there good people.

Ordered take out and got the supreme pizza.

This pizza is ALWAYS delicious. It's definitely one of my favorite pizzas for sure! Hand made crust, always hot and tasty. (And I mean tasty-yummy- delicious!) Loaded with meat ( I always get the meat specialty pizza). Definitely worth trying if you haven't. You will not be disappointed. Seriously, one of St. Louis' best, thin crust, (Saint Louis MO style) pizza. I'd put this one above the most popular STL pizza! Delicious EVERY TIME!!!

Not many places get a 5 star rating. The food is A+ here at Angelo's. Highly recommended.

New owners have plenty of attitude, and the price is up over 23 dollars for a large one topping st.louis style pizza. The lady I placed my order with challenges everyone she talks to about being right, i sat down and waited for my pizza and every single customer who called or came in with a question was challenged about being correct or not. Stop it, and it makes you look petty, and exactly why I won't come back. The old owners were very nice and friendly, not this lady, very confrontational.

Angelo's pizza is a Slam Dunk Everytime.

I give a 3 star due to the crust. It is not the same very bland taste. It's been about 3yrs since I ate there today, I can definently say the crust is not the same. Texture and taste is not the same maybe cheaper flour is being used or they forgot a ingredient when making the crust, not sure but definitely not the same. It use to a have more flaky buttery tasting crust. Very disappointed today can't believe it this was the best pizza in the LOU!!

Just ate here for the first time the other day. I'm a big guy and a small supreme Pizza could easily feed two of me. It probably weighed 4-5 lbs. The pizza was delicious and the customer service was great. Definitely wear a bib when you eat this pizza, it's messy in the best way

I have been going to Angelo's for years. My family and I always get pizza from here. I am giving them a one star tonight because of my experience there. I have never felt so embarrassed and humiliated in my life. When you go to Angelo's they give you a card and on that card it tells you that if you buy up to 10 pizza you get a large two topping pizza for free. Well i had all of my pizza's checked off. Planned to get the little ones pizza tonight since it was free. Ordered the pizza and went in to turn in my card and collect my free pizza, when i was told by the young lady that she cant honor my free pizza because her or the owner recognized the signatures. I stated that she wasnt the only young lady that has been there that has taken my order but instead of acknowledging that I was told that shes been the only one closing there for four years, as if we just buy our pizza only at night. As the back and forth went on for a minute the young lady told me that it could've been one of the other girls signature. Then told me i should come back when that person is here since i dont remember what the young lady looks like. They have over 100 customers a day. I work in customer service and do not remember every face or every card i sign off on. I was very embarrassed and then to be accused of signing it myself was just beyond me. As sad as it is i will not return to Angelo's.

Ordered a large bacon and Italian sausage pizza, wings, and toasted ravioli....and everything was horrible 🤢...the pizza was burnt and dry, the wings were undercooked, and the ravioli was soft and soggy.... paid $40+...last time ordering from this place!

This is the best pizza I have ever had! The owners are so kind, and I love that it is locally owned. I love the Hawaiian pizza, and I have a hard time ordering pizza from anywhere else. You won't be disappointed!

This is such an awesome pizza place! Dining in is cozy and the staff is super friendly. The half-baked (frozen or made fresh) are just as good as the hot pizza right out of the oven! The amount of toppings is insane! It is SO heavy! For me, this is a good thing. But by all means, ask for “lite” anything. Everything made fresh, in house. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get! Definitely give Angelo’s a try, if you haven’t already!

Pizza is amazing! The only things I dislike are the wings and salad. The wings are very stiff, as if they’ve been microwaved, and the salad is horrible. I recently ordered a salad and it made my mother very sick! She was struck instantly with heart palpitations, lightheadedness, and she began to feel cold. I immediately called 911, and her blood pressure, along with heart rate, was rocket high. After they left she began to calm down, her stomach began to hurt, and she had diarrhea. I had to buy some fluids and detox to clean whatever bacteria she ate out of her system. Angelos used to be so good!! I don’t what’s happening. They definitely need better cooks, and people who take meal prep, and cleanliness seriously.

It wasn't as good as i believe it use to be. Salad was just a bunch of iceberg lettuce. House dressing oily and tasteless. Pizza was okay and wings were good. There are some other similar places close by that i like much better.

Excellent pizza! This is the best pizza in the area hands down. Call in advance. It took about 1.5 hours, but well worth it.

This is absolutely a St. Louis gem. The pizza is always delicious. I love the unique thin crust they prepare the pizza with, it compliments well with the creamy cheese. There's a little bit of a wait time but it's well worth the wait. A must try!

I use to place Faraci's on New Florissant @ No.1 now I believe they have been Overthrown! Angelo's definitely has Double the Meat on their Pizza,if not More. Angelo's Pizza Size is a little Larger! Sauce maybe on Par with one another,not a Bad Thing! Faraci's use to Win this hands down but they've changed their Sauce. I believe they took the Wine out. I definitely don't taste it anymore. As far as Taste is Concerned. I would give it to Angelo's but only by a Hair! Angelo's is also much closer so its a No Brainer! More Meat,More Pizza for your Money & Closer in Proximity!!

I ordered a Large Supreme by phone and was told it would be ready in 1 1/2 hours. My pizza was ready, hot and fresh when I got there. The staff are always friendly and the pizza is always delicious!

We live close by and have been wanting to try this place. It was amazing the pizza was hot and fresh. We got a large bacon and a small supreme but they look the same size to me and I’m not complaining. It was $40 for two pizzas we have plenty of left overs. The only downfall was the wait time when i called she said upfront it would be an hour or so it took an hour and fifteen minutes. So we know to order ahead of time in the future. Overall great pizza would highly recommend.

I ordered a large Supreme to go from the very nice lady at the counter. The pie was smothered in toppings and the flavor was superb! We found it to be 2 full meals for two people. Yum!

Best pizza. Thin crackery crust. They put on plenty of toppings and provel cheese. Been going there for many years. Used to have authentic 70s furnishings. Still has the old chairs, but they painted the wood paneling and removed the old beer lighted signs. That makes me sad.

This by far is the best pizza ever! An incredibly thin cracker crust ( better to taste the toppings), the most tasty special recipe tomato sauce and toppings that are not only the best quality but also are plentiful! I love to take a picture and post it on social media, it always get a few jealous comments from those who have moved away. I highly recommend stopping by and trying this one for yourself. I know you will thank me!!

They changed something! This pizza is NOT the same. Over the past year Angelo's has ceased to be my favorite pizza of all time. For as pricey as it is it's just not worth it anymore. I will try Farci's in Ferguson next time.

Yeah, them pizza and wings did not hit. It was just nasty, Disgusting, and astoundingly unpalatable. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Do better.

Been eating at Angelo's since high school 40+ years. Wish they had a restaurant in O'Fallon MO. I often make the long drive from O'Fallon to Black Jack for a Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza. Place is a dump inside but very much worth visiting for the pizza. Curbside pick up only during pandemic.
