Love the food, I had the ribs. Other in our group had brisket, 2 meats brisket and ribs .

Great food, just takes a very long time every single time I've ever been.... place wasn't packed, took us 45 min to get our food... waiter was beyond nice and did a very good job. Food was very good!

Great place to eat....and I'm not a BBQ or Smokehouse kinda girl. Food was delicious, waitress was amazing and happy (even as busy as she was), and hostess/owner/bartender Jamie makes you feel welcomed! So wonderful, we did 2 nights in a row on a recent visit to SW Wisconsin.

Pretty darn good prime rib would definitely put the hit on it again. Will be awhile before I'm back there again but the plan is to start out with this cheese cake desert that looks like it was deep fried. Was totally stuffed when the entire next table got it. Oh my God it looked good.......

Was recommended to stop, and was greeted by a very friendly bartender. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks. We didn’t eat because we had other plans, but looking forward to stop for dinner soon, smelled amazing.

Onion rings to done and hash brown's weren't still cooked the 2nd time around Salad bar pretty low on food.

Food is delicious but last time we were there the salad bar was much smaller and they ran out of ribs on a weeknight.

This place is a standout in all of SW Wisconsin. Jamie runs a fun welcoming bar, where everyone is always up to greet a new face and figure out who you know in common. The food is stellar. The owners come from KC, and it shows. The baked beans are amazing! (Me: Jamie, how much sugar is in here? Jamie: We measure with our heart.) I love the pulled pork and hash browns. The Sunday chicken is good too. My mom now lives just up the road from the Anker, and you can bet it's where I'll be whenever I fly back to the motherland.

Excellent dinner on Monday night when most places are closed. The service was awesome and very friendly. The locals eat here! Had a fried walleye dinner with some coconut shrimp, excellent! Husband had the grilled pork chop with Fuji apples and it was the best chop he's had. I will be attempting to duplicate the dish. :) Go here! We would have had dinner another night, but they are closed Tues.and Wed. Yes, they have Spotted Cow and Potosi beers. We will be back!

Service good food is good. Like salad bar. Problem is when bill came it was considerably higher. I grabbed the menu and asked the waitress why we were so over charged. Informed meat prices had gone up so meal prices had to go up and we didn’t have time to change menus. How about then u say something when we order or a sign on tables for fair warning in case we decide to order something else. Instead all choices taken away and just the higher bill. Pre warning or honoring ur prices written.

Sometimes it's the food, sometimes it's the people, and sometimes it's the person behind the bar...for me, it's all three. This is THE place to go for a superb meal and excellent service. The great conversationalist behind the bar is a bonus!

The food at Anker Inn Smokehouse is delicious!!!! I have tried something different everytime we go, and this time I had the ribs and....omg...they were amazing!! Their white cheddar mac and cheese was so yummy...am very picky about mac and cheese and this was easily one of my top 3 of all time! And the staff is great!! Well done!

Had a nice open dining room and outside patio area. Food was what would you expect from a tavern. Waitress didnt seem to be very comfortable with the ordering system they are using and ended up messing up the order unfortunately.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The ribs and brisket are some of the best I've ever had in my life. No sauce even really necessary, (although the sauce they serve on the side is excellent too so It's a tough choice) and if that wasn't enough to get me back, the people there on my last visit were one of the friendliest group of strangers I've come across in a while. Bartender was super nice. Definitely going to be dining here whenever I have a chance!

What a great surprise . First time here but it won’t be last it’s 1 and half hour drive from me but worth a drive service was great and food was amazing the brisket omg , so tender and juicy and bbq sauce very tasty. Also head ribs great taste and meat falls of the bone. Thank you for great service and great food .

They were extremely apologetic as they were busier than they had expected to be which made the wait times a bit longer than a typical Sunday evening. However, the waitress really made an effort to make a connection with my kids, pointing out the 80's arcade game they were welcome to play and even letting my 5 year old refill his own soda at the bar. The food was great when it arrived and worth the wait.

I liked the 3 little pigs sandwich but loved the dessert that we got way more! It was called the xiango.

I had a great dining experience while I was here. I’ve heard their burgers are fantastic but I’m not much of a burger person so I ordered coconut shrimp instead and it was delicious! However, the service was a bit slow, for example I had to wait over ten minutes for one can of soda. Overall, this is a great restaurant as long as you’re not in a hurry.

A little hidden gem in Cassville Wisconsin. They have top notch smoked brisket, they smoke all their own meats. Some of the best FRIDAY night fish I have had the opportunity to eat. Awsome staff and friendly atmosphere. Its worth the trip to discover this little place tucked away in the bluffs of the Driftless area of Wiaconsin.

Food was just okay, like it is every time I've been there. I can't say as I would really recommend the place but I wouldn't tell anyone not to go there. The water that they filled our glasses with did taste kind of weird, it was well water. Normally I like well water but this was not good. The prices were very fair for the food that you got and our waitress was extremely friendly.

Kind of a hole in the wall type of place. Salad bar was "ok" lettuce was starting to brown by the time I got there. I had all you could eat pork ribs, ok by themselves but needed sauce. With the sauce they were good, not great, but good. No free refills. Others I was with said that the pulled pork, and beef brisket was good. I would go back to try other meats. Service was pretty good (especially eith the size of our group).

We found this unexpected gem while camping at Nelson Dewey State Park. The restaurant itself is unassuming, but the food is fantastic! The brisket was perfectly cooked and worth coming back for every time, but absolutely everything from the tomato soup to the fried cheese curds was delightful.

The staff is phenomenal. Try the anker Mary. The candied bacon in it is out of this world! I had their brisket dinner and it was some of the best smoked brisket I've eve had. I can't wait to visit there next time I'm in the area.

The only thing disappointing is that it took me so long to try this place out. A friend and I went this last weekend and couldn't have been happier. There wasn't anything on either of our plates that wasn't amazing.

The food and atmosphere is excellent!!!!! I've never had a bad meal no matter what I've ordered. Give it a try and you'll be back time and again.
