The Veal Parm was the Best Ever

We had a great meal at Antonio's. Veal special was delicious. Pasta sauce was yummy but a little sweet for my hubby's liking.

The veal chop in a lobster cream sauce was heavenly,. Been going there since I was a teenager, am 56 now, i had never had the stuffed veal chop before, oh my god it was so good..

Tonight was our first time and definitely won't be our last. The food was exceptional, calamari was tender, scallops we're to die for, and veal Parmigiano was melt in your mouth tender!!!!! Tirimisu was awesome, too. Even the bread and coffee were great!!!! Highly recommended 👌 👍 👏

The atmosphere is great.Right in heart of little Italy.Parking can be somewhat tricky. The portions are plentiful.The veal is thin and cutlet is tender and thin.The red sauce lacks some flavor but overall a good experience. Excellent cocktails

Very calm atmosphere. Low lighting, nice music, awesome food and drinks. Service is great. Food is incredible, best chicken parmesam in the state of RI. The chicken is super thin, not over-fried, great flavor. Clams casino are a little more batter than clam but amazing flavor. Decent wine list. Amazing espresso martini made with a fresh, hot pulled shot of espresso. 9/10. Definitely come in.

The food here is excellent! Large portions and excellent for taking home to enjoy again. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic Italian meal. My Lamb Chop special was amazing. My wife had the pasta and Italian Sausage.. One of the best we ever tasted. We will be back when we visit this area again.

My brother is always eating here and raving about the food, now I can see why. We came here with our family for me and my brothers birthday, and the food was on point! I ordered the Pork Osso Buco ($28.50) and it was so juicy with a great flavor. It was a big piece of meat and I loved the fig/sweet potato sauce that was beneath it. My mom’s chicken martini ($26) was a great cut of meat served in a fabulous sauce. Then my brother’s free range chicken ($27) was also really good with a awesome crispy skin. (They forgot the risotto at first). The portion of Bolognese that they served was large and they didn’t skimp on the meat, which some places do. ($23). Service wasn’t the best I hate to say. It wasn’t busy at all for 530 on a Friday, but it took 45 minutes to get our food! And our waitress had a little attitude when discussing the risotto error with my brother. Antonio’s is a little on the expensive side, but the food is worth the price.

We had our family there for a collation. Dean handled the entire group easily, and everyone had a great meal.

First time coming here. We was seated right away. Waiter was very nice. I had the eggplant. It was so good one of the best I've had and the sauce (gravy) was perfect. My husband liked the swordfish everything was clean. Just a little noisy and we had a table of 4 behind us who was very loud and rude. We will be back

Located in the heart of Cranston , or what most people find as Cranston’s “little Italy” area, you will find Antonio’s. It’s a small Italian restaurant that has exquisite food. It’s not big, but it offers plenty of seating. The parking can be tough depending on time and day you choose to come. I’d make a reservation in advance. The staff are friendly and on top of their game here. Drinks come with a generous pour which is always welcomed for me. The food was great and came out not long after the appetizers. They offer a solid menu, with the typical “go to” Italian dishes, but they also have daily specials . If your looking for great Italian food, I would highly recommend this place.

Reserved room for 33 for lunch. Tables were set-up haphazardly. Food was slow to come. No wait staff to take drink orders. No followup service after main course. Food just acceptable.

There’s a million great things to say about this place. I wish I could give it 6 stars. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You haven’t had eggplant parm until you’ve had it here. It could possibly be the best in the country.

First time going again after owner died and need to say very disappointed. The atmosphere changed. It used to have a romantic setting in front of the bar area with the dim lights . That has changed . Very bright now. I usually order a filet mignon and to my surprise I paid $50 instead of $35 and the portion is very small. Beware you will stay hungry .I ordered take out in this occasion . no utensils or napkins provided. The taste it not the same as well. Sadly will not be returning.

The food is so wonderful everytime. The servers and staff always go above and beyond to ensure every experience and meal there is wonderful. A friend I was dining with had a serious medical event occur in the restaurant while we were there, and the staff was right on top of it, called 911 and assisted us with whatever we needed . I am very grateful for each and everyone of them.

So disappointing! We had been here several times in the past and it has always been delicious. The meals tonight were subpar to say the least. There was no heat on and everyone wore coats while dining. If there is a heating problem you should advise customers when they come in, not left them to find out when they are frozen. That was a real turnoff. My shrimp scampi was very disappointing as it had no flavor. I don't think they sautéed the garlic in oil and they could have added parsley and lemon zest. Two of my companions ordered the swordfish because it was always so good in the past. This recipe needs to be discarded. When you have to add sauce to fish it is usually to disguise the fact that the fish is not good. Other times it was grilled and delicious. The smelts were not good either!!! We won't be back again. There are many more Italian restaurants in RI that cook delicious food....no need to dine here.

The food and desserts were excellent. Was my first time visiting this restaurant and would recommend. I went to this restaurant for a family function. A full course meal was served. I had chicken marsala and it was excellent.

First of all it was so loud we could have been at a concert. Everyone at our table was frustrated trying to have a conversation. It made dinner unpleasant. The appetizers (stuffed figs, smelts, and stuffiest) were plentiful and all delicious. I had the bolognese, which I order everywhere I eat. It was disappointing. It is well known in Italian restaurants that you don’t serve bolognese with ziti! In addition the gravy (sauce) was not very tasty. The Fra Diavolo was acceptable. The grilled pizza was very good. The Veal Milanese had too much sauce. Desserts were exceptional, thankfully.

For my liking the sauce was too sweet and the veal parm was dry, probably because they put a small layer of tomato sauce on the plate then put the veal on top of the sauce without putting any sauce over the top of the veal. The dish as well as my wife's was not hot, room temp at best, for me that's a deal killer.

Been once before, no free refills. Average food, small portions. Had a group there recently, and they automatically add a 20% tip. That's not a problem, but add it BEFORE you had tax. On a $1000 tab, that is rather significant. Very short-handed. The food this same time was once again just decent (the bolognese had almost no meat in it whatsoever) with incredibly small portions (albeit it was a luncheon) for $24.95, soda not included (it did come with a small salad and half scoop of ice cream with whipped cream in a tiny glass). Three younger people just wanted chicken strips...again incredibly small portions (and still $24.95!). Joke.

The co reviewer and I were back on Cranston Street for dinner and have not been here since the pandemic. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable and we were able to sit right down with no reservations. The co reviewer had a pizza and I tried the chicken parmigiana. The pizza was very good and gone by the end of the night. Nothing to take home! The chicken parmigiana was good as well. The co reviewer said her Manhattan’s were nicely mixed. This place will definitely stay in rotation.

Very good food. Make sure you let someone know you want to take home the rest of the food, went outside came back in food was taken away.

The pasta here is gross, very hard seems like it was left out to dry and get crunchy. Yuck ! Chicken cutlet was ok but super paper thin. Waiter was rude rushing us. I’ll stick too federal hill for Italian food

Excellent Italian food in the heart of knightsville, Cranston. The pork shank is a real treat and you only need a spoon to eat it. Best Arancini I have ever had out. Drinks bar and lounge very welcoming and the servers work hard and diligently. The magic here truly occurs in the kitchen, and the banana 🍌 bread pudding is a favorite of mine for dessert. Enjoy a nice night out with friends and family and be sure to check out Antonio's.

Our family was here after a funeral , server was rude and couldn’t be bothered with Typical customer requests , bartender was decent but the manager who stepped in was terrible acted as if we were a bother when we ordered drinks that we paid 10+ a piece for every drink , very dissatisfied with the food the chicken parm was literally an 1/8 of an inch think I’ve never seen anything like it I will never step foot in there again and will be sure to tell anyone I know the same

After my brother-in-law's funeral. We all came here for lunch. It's a nice restaurant to look at. The portions of food was small. They never offered coffee. After eating we sat around for a hour and people started leaving and that's when they finally brought dessert out. For $25 a person for a small piece of fish and a spoonful of mashed potatoes and three asparagus.

This place is right next door to Marchetti's which is a huge Italian restaurant in Rhode Island. Antonio's is a little more classy inside. The menu is not overwhelming but offer classic Italian dishes. I ordered the short ribs dinner and it was delicious. The short ribs were so tender, that you don't need a knife. Overall, it was a good experience at Antonio's.

Currently our favorite local spot for Italian! We have been about 6 times now and it’s been amazing every time! The polenta with mushrooms is incredible. It’s seems like anytime we eat elsewhere lately, we regret it. The service is always too notch and the bartender knows how to make perfect cocktails no matter what mood you’re in! I highly recommend trying this out! For being such high quality, you really can’t beat the price! Absolutely recommend!

I hate to say this but I was very disappointed at Antonios. They no longer serve gnoccis.The stuffed artichoke had no flavor. Lobster Ravioli tasted bland and frozen.

This is my beautiful friend Meghan, she was a beloved daughter, mom, friend, Cranston teacher, and coach - a special light dimmed much too soon. On the evening of her wake Antonio and his staff donated a four course meal to her family and friends. The service was impeccable, the food was exquisite, and the generosity of Antonio and his staff was so very touching. This is a special restaurant that truly values it's community. Visit soon and you will not be disappointed. Next time my family and I are visiting from NY we will be back. Thank you Antonio & staff!!!

I have been multiple time the food has been great I found there gnocchi to be the best I am disappointed they took it off the menu but I have had other meals on the menu and they were great the atmosphere and service is excellent I hope that in the future they return gnocchi to the menu.

Dinning in a group of 8 people and the service, food and drinks were FABULOUS! Highly recommend the veal and the Osso Buco. Marvelous.

Antonio's has a menu second to none. The setting is cozy and the staff treat you as if you are their only customer. If you like Italian, check out Antonio's. Reservations are a good idea and ask if you can have a table in the front of the restaurant. The ambiance is much nicer than the large dining room in the back. Also, be prepared for sticker shock. The food is good but a bit on the high end for price.

Visited on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 with party of six. Service was terrible, food was even worse. Took hours for our meal - reservation at 6 and left at 10! The only redeeming part of the meal was the pizza - rabe and sausage. I had the cod with "fresh tomatoes" etc.... I took one bite and left the rest. Tasted like it was frozen and heated in microwave. Saturated in sauce - not fresh tomatoes. So disappointed and will not frequent again.

Let me start by saying "Tremendous!". The service by Christian was amazing. I had the veal parm. Thin, tender and mouth watering. The wine pairing suggested was excellent. My wife had the shrimp scampi and being curious I had a bite. Magnificent! We actually split our epicurean delights and were very satisfied. If I could leave ten stars I would.
