My family has only done take orders, however they do provide a small dining room. They have the best Chinese in Seymour. Food is great & service is top notch!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Food has took a decline over the years.... they are offering reheated chicken an that same chicken us used on qll platters that include it.... staff is amazing would just like to see the food improve some

My family has been eating here for a few years and havent once gotten bad food or bad service. Food is always fresh.

Food was great overall. Egg rolls were undercooked and not stuffed enough. The Lo Mein and vegetables was very light on the vegetables, mostly noodles. The Bangkok Shrimp was really good and just the right amount of heat. Crab rangoon done really well. The receptionist was not friendly and if you plan to eat in they don’t offer wait staff, just take out boxes and a table to sit at. I think we will go back but probably try competition first.

I know fast Chinese, pork fried rice isnt old refried. Sweet and sour chicken, amazing. Hot home made mustard is the spiciest ever, i love it. And best of all FAST.

The food was delicious. I had the beef and broccoli, and my husband had General Tso's chicken.

Best Asian food in the area, hands down! The food quality, portions, and costs are all extremely fair. Excellent service and very nice people that work there.

Thai Food is excellent (a coconut curry sauce is a favorite) and fresh! You can choose steam or fried rice as they also offer hibachi and Chinese food. Small operation so just a few tables. We got take out and it was packaged well in addition to piping hot. Parking is shared with a Food City as the location is located in a strip mall. Credit Cards accepted.

Sesame chicken was pretty decent. Fried rice tasted like old rice was used. Pad Thai was very different from any other recipe or restaurant version we have ever had. Not in a good way! Egg rolls are average.

This place is a hidden gem. Decided to give it a try because i was craving some pad thai. Their pad thai is delicious, nice and spicy. Also dont sleep on their penang curry and chinese donuts. Best coconut curry ive had in a while. Their donuts dont look like a traditional chinese donut but the flavor was on point. Kids loved the general chicken and beef broccoli. Give this place a try for sure.

I’ve eaten here twice now and I love this place. Food is good and always hot, it’s ready fast every time I call and they’re friendly as well. The portion sizes are great for the price also. I can get a meal for two for $30 with an appetizer and with leftovers and that’s hard to find these days.

I would have to disagree with the reviews stating that those who left positive reviews must have never traveled outside of the area. Our family just recently moved here from out-of-state and are well-traveled. We loved the food and were impressed with the portion sizes. I always get hibachi chicken whenever we order take-out from a place like this, and I felt like the chicken was fresh and lean. It wasn't dry at all as I've experienced before from even some of the best hibachi places we've tried. Very good! My husband and son ordered the sesame chicken and beef lo mein. They loved both and raved about how much better it was than our favorite place in our previous hometown. My son is also a crab rangoon fan and was pleasantly surprised when it was not only good (and he's picky), but he also received quite a few more than he was used to getting. We're a pretty picky bunch, but we loved everything, had enough for another meal the next day, and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Always good. Soup, appetizers and entrees are fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices and good service. Specifically I think the best thing is, Singapore mei fun but many other things are good. Closed on Monday.

This is not good Chinese-Asian food. It's edible. That's it. Period ! I've had better Chinese from the frozen food isle at the grocery store. I dont normally leave reviews but wow it was so good! Everything was hot and fresh and soo flavorful! The lady answering the phone could've been more friendly but I over looked that. Will definitely be back.

Out of 50yrs of eating Chinese food..This was the worst Pork fried rice I have ever eaten...old meat cut off Old ribs old rice worst taste..3rd time bad food..I'll NEVER go again

Always dependable for cleanliness, excellently prepared, and hot food. Only wish the dining area was larger. However, take out does not disappoint from full to the brim containers and fortune cookies to go.

This is my favorite Asian restaurant. I always order the Pepper Chicken. It's kind of sweet, but the pepper balances it out. My family loves the Sesame Chicken. No matter what you get it will be fresh and perfectly crispy. The service is really quick and they have never messed up my order.

Quick and very good food. Only issue now is there hours must have changed. Because Multiple times now I have called to order and they are closed before 9pm.

Happily surprised that we enjoyed our meal. Chinese food is prepared differently here than what we are used to and we weren't sure what to expect. This is our go to for Chinese unless we find another place that we like. Not in a hurry to look though!

I had chicken with mixed vegetables and house fried rice. My wife had egg drop soup, vegetables spring rolls, and cashew chicken!! Egg rolls were wonderful and non greasy!! Everything was wonderful and well prepared!! Highly recommend!!

I wish I could give even more stars. Not only had the food been consistently delicious over the last two years I've been eating here, but the portions far outweigh the price. What really sets Asian Yummy above and beyond other restaurants is their dedication to customer safety. Given the recent introduction of Covid-19 in our region, Asian Yummy has, by far, taken the most proactive measures to prevent the spread of the disease so our community can return to a normal life. Not only do they offer hand sanitizer, but they've also managed a contactless method for both paying for and receiving food. They have won a customer for life. 5 stars was enough last year; now we need a higher award.

We Just moved out here from Clearwater Florida and this is very good Chinese food and Hibachi.

Ordered food for 4 people. Got home with the order and found food missing. My boyfriend called to let them know and see when we could pick up the missing food. He was argued with and hung up on. He went and picked up the missing food with no issue. He got back home and we started to eat. Discovered that their "so called fried rice" was far from it...no egg and very dry. The side fried rice had nothing in it and didn't look like fried rice, we also explained that my boyfriend is allergic to mushrooms and that there was nothing stating there was mushrooms in the dish he ordered. We call back and try to explain...get nothing but attitude, told we were wrong and.."they fix it next time" then immediately hung up on again. Have had better service and better food at buffet style and fast food restaurants than here...nevermind the rude and unprofessional service. Will most definitely not be going back!

They have the best food! We are locals and go there so often that the lady remembers what we order lol. The service is amazing and the people are so friendly. Prices are really good too. There's nothing bad about this place at all.

I was just expecting your normal Chinese takeout but this place was very good! The chicken was fresh and had plenty of sauce. The fried rice was also very good. We will be making this our go to for Chinese food in the Seymour/Knoxville area!

I have been a patron at Asian yummy for several years. I took a friend there today that has never been and she was overwhelmed. The food is absolutely out of this world fabulous. The owners are incredibly nice. It is a great family operation. I will give them my business every chance I get the food is hot fresh and very authentic. I generally get the Hibachi chicken and steak and I am never disappointed. It is a amazingly large serving I always take plenty home with me after I filled my belly. I usually get it for take out and when I do I get the Hibachi combo, crab rangoons, and an extra egg roll I get three huge meals off of all of this. The price is exceptionally reasonable. If you've not been to Asian yummy get there as fast as you can but I need to tell you they are closed on Mondays.

Very best Asian food I have ever eaten. The food is always consistently delicious. It is a very fair price you get a very large serving. The people that run Asian yummy and I feel bad that I don't know their name but they are so sweet and so attentive to your wants. I call in my order and it is exactly correct every time. I had eaten inside several times and the service is fabulous. Highly recommend Asian yummy. You will want to have it at least once a week The Hibachi dinners I think are the best. The steak they use in their Hibachi dinners is so good and so tender it is real good steak and the chicken is Big fresh chunks of chicken you cannot go wrong with eating at Asian yummy. Just don't forget they are closed on Mondays

We are pleasantly surprised every time we order here. The food is always steaming hot even after arrival at home and there is a good variety of Chinese and other Asian dishes. There is limited seating in premises but we just prefer to go home

You’d be hard pressed to find true authentic Chinese served anywhere in East Tennessee; but if you sort through, you’ll find a dish here n there that’ll fit your bill. Asian yummy has a diverse menu; including Chinese, hibachi, and even Thai. I usually lean toward the Chinese end of the menu myself. I was told by an owner of an excellent Chinese takeout place years ago, that one should always judge a Chinese place by their Kung Pao dishes. He felt that if it was cooked properly, as his certainly was, they probably know how to do real Chinese take-out. And since that quickly became my favorite Chinese dish. I now do just that. Lucky for me, they actually have a pretty good version of it here. The chicken is just crispy enough to keep the dish from being soggy, like too many others out there The flavors are bold, and flavorful, with just enough spice to let you know it’s Kung Pao. The added peanuts do keep it tamed a little though. Ive tried other items here as well, with no complaints. Entrees come with soup or an egg roll, which are both pretty good; though we always get the wonton soup served with crispy wonton noodles. Service is always good here; and they do have 4 or 5 tables, if you’re dining in. The place is always clean, and the folks running it are friendly. Prices are about as good as you’ll find around here. All n all, it’s a pretty good option in the area. Note: They are closed on Mondays... Enjoy.

A very good meal. Ate in, I had General Tsos chicken, rice and an egg roll. My friend had beef and broccoli, rice and egg roll. Service was great and portions were large and fresh.

I walked in to this place on a Friday night and placed a carry out order. The 8 tables in the place remained filled while I sat off to the side and waited for my order. It took about 20 minutes to get an order of crab rangoon and house fried rice. A Deputy Sheriff came in and sat down and he had a plate of food in front of him in less than 3 minutes, obviously a regular. Several locals came in to pick up phone in orders and at least 1/2 of them were known by name by the 2 gals running the counter. The crab rangoon here is the best out of the 4 Chinese places I've been to in the area. The house fried rice was good. Aparently this is the place to order Hibachi... the girls at the register apologized to at least 3 locals for not having their Hibachi ready because everyone and their mother was ordering it that night and there's only so much you can cook on a grill at a time. I liked it and locals swarmed it.

Like most Chinese restaurants you never know they exist till you try to find it. They have great prices for lunch and dinner. Try to go to lunch for the cheapest food. Portions are good but the place its self is very small with not many seats.

They have the best Chinese food around. Prices are good. Huge portions! It's quaint and run by one owner. They have takeout and a dining room, but no delivery.

We've tried Asian Yummy twice now. Both times we just picked up and ate at home. Food is great! Good size portions. I'd prefer the egg rolls to be a little larger, but they're still delicious. Very close to home and super convenient.
