My wife and I recently attended an exclusive high-profile event at what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel (St. Regis), but my experience with their valet service was far from that standard. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the valet team was disorganized. There was no one available to greet me when I pulled up, and I had to wait several minutes just to get someone's attention. When someone finally came over, they were rushed and barely acknowledged me before taking my keys. To make matters worse, when the event was over I requested my car, and as I exited the front door to provide my claim ticket the valet walked up aggressively ,“snatched” it from my hand, and proceeded to retrieve my vehicle. The cashier valet requested my form of payment, and I provided my credit card. He was very unpleasant, aggressive as well and we had to wait over 15 minutes for our vehicle. It was obvious that the team was overwhelmed and understaffed, which led to long wait times and a complete lack of coordination and 5- star customer service. I immediately went inside to request a manager. The front desk clerk wasn’t helpful, and she too was very unpleasant. Finally, a manager (Nolan) spoke with me and apologized for our unpleasant experience with the valet service and offered to reimburse the $25 we paid. As of today, we haven’t received any refund whatsoever or follow-up call. What really sealed the deal for this terrible experience was the state of my car (Range Rover) when it was finally brought to me. The inside had alot of dirt on the floor mats, and there was a mysterious smudge on the door and window that hadn’t been there before. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury and high-end service, the valet experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I expected much better, and I certainly won’t be using this service again on future visits or stays.

Recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the St Regis in Atlanta this summer 2024. The venue staff for the wedding were great (professional, efficient, organized). It's such a beautiful venue if you're looking to have a wedding with an upscale, elegant, and timeless feel! Although the weather wasn't cooperating, our couple was still thrilled, despite having the ceremony indoors. The terrace area just above the pool is a great location for group/couples portraits, as the sun sets towards the perfect direction for those dreamy portraits!! Highly recommend this venue if you're in search of your wedding venue for your big day!

My wife surprised me with a staycation at the St. Regis in Atlanta, and it was unlike any other staycation we've had. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Tobias, the valet, treated me like royalty, and Jeffery at the front desk was incredibly attentive and really wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The concierge, Mr. Marc, and Bellman, Mr. Greg, made us feel like family, offering spot-on recommendations and engaging in meaningful conversations. Mr. Duke, the chauffeur, ensured a smooth ride, exuding experience and professionalism. All of this BEFORE experiencing the room. The room itself was stunning, it felt like I was back in Paris. The morning breakfast was perfection. The perfect end to a birthday weekend. We're already planning to make this a biannual tradition; we truly appreciated the exceptional experience. Jeffery D was amazing and was truly the only highlight of my stay (besides the spa) Jeffery was attentive, professional, and kind. Now for the negative…I was in the Grand Terrace Room (horrible view of the parking lot), so I went back to the front desk and spoke to Joshua, clearly my presence annoyed Joshua. When I explained my disappointment he just gave me a downgraded room, no price adjustment, no acknowledge of my unhappiness…nothing. Also when I checked out no one helped me with my bag, no one opened the door for me and it was a very long wait collecting my car from valet even though I was told to come down and that my car would be ready in 5 minutes…I’m extremely disappointed…this was not luxury.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the US. Really stands up to the St. Regis brand standards. The staff were efficient and friendly. The interior has got that old timey luxurious style but the amenities are very up to date. I really liked the selection of products offered in the room, Frette slippers and bathrobes, the body wash, face wash and shampoo, even the chocolates were so delicious. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in Atlanta.

Had a great stay to celebrate our anniversary. Jeffrey was such a nice host with checking us in and making us feel extra special during our stay. Marc was also very nice and helpful in getting us a dining reservation. Dining at Atlas was very nice and they made our dinner very special as well. One of the managers from Tampa was very personable. Our butler did forget to bring the ice we requested and house keeping never made it to our room for turndown service. We requested it before we left for dinner and then the next day when I brought it up as being missed, they said it was due to our Pomeranian being in there. They should have communicated a little better, otherwise would have give 5 stars.

Service was top notch. The past few years the higher end hotels in Atlanta service levels have declined. St Regis was an exception. We had a quick overnight girls weekend, and we were all 4 impressed from the valet. To the front desk. To servers. All the staff were kind and had a smile. Will 100% be back. For the cost, its the service you expect, but do not always get today. Location is central, yet tucked away. Easy access to several areas in Atlanta.

Went on a family vacation to Atlanta and we stayed at the St. Regis- it was great! All the staff were amazing, especially at the breakfast restaurant; Charles was beyond accommodating and kind with my family. The valet staff are amazing as well. We came for Afternoom Tea to celebrate my sister's birthday. From the time we arrived until the time we departed everything was lovely. I definitely recommend this for a solo date or date with friends. Parking is valet and $15 once validated while attending afternoon tea. It's definitely a nice experience and I would do it again :) Dressing the part is HIGHLY recommended as well!!

We come here often for the bar and the restaurant called Garden Room, both solid choices. Have always had an exceptional time at this location and the reputation lives up to the hype. Everyone there is very nice and service always exceeds expectations, even on the busiest of nights! From the scenery, to the drinks, food, atmosphere, it's all there. Valet parking never misses a beat at this location, almost every single time we've gotten our car as quick as possible. Tate, one of the valets who works there, is one of the best valets I've ever been around. Very nice guy and compliments many of the other good valets at this location. The one time we did have an issue with our car (it was very busy) Tate took time to explain to us what was going on and amidst a lot going on all at once, he was very professional in how he handled our situation. The other guy we talked to didn't really seem to care as much and was a bit flustered, but we can move past that, it was very busy after all. The doorman Yazar (I apologize if that's incorrect spelling) is always a great addition to our visit as well. Thanks guys! Can't wait for more weekend nights at St Regis.

I didn't stay here but was in the area for dinner at Atlas. However, while in the St. Regis, the service from everyone I met was exceptional. If every aspect of the stay is to this standard, then I can be confident that you'll have a first class experience. They're in a convenient location with several amazing restaurants very nearby. Atlas is in the building and made for a truly memorable evening with several friends. While I don't have pictures of the rooms, I will include some from our meal.

I debated on this review, but decided I could not give an outstanding rating. My wife and I come here frequently and this is the first time I have had a less than perfect experience here. I took my wife here for a Valentine’s lunch on Ash Wednesday and had a later reservation as we were attending church service first. The food was outstanding and the service was outstanding until I inquired about having some tea for myself and wife and possibly dessert but was told the kitchen was now closed. I was so taken back as we were not told before hand and asked if we would like anything else. This was not the response I would have expected at a 5 star hotel. I didn’t want to be nit-picky but this was not an inexpensive lunch, I ordered a bottle of sparkling rose and it was a special occasion. However , shortly after another server came by and inquired if we needed anything else and I told her I wanted some tea for my wife and myself but was told you were no longer serving. She immediately responded we absolutely could have tea. So she saved the day! If you have a later reservation you will need to inquire if this will cause any problems with a leisurely lunch.

Sad to say this was the worst experience ever at a luxury hotel. We waited over an hour for our car to be pulled from the valet. That’s not a big deal considering we were leaving a big event. But after waiting an hour, it wasn’t until I walked into the valet office and asked if they could find my car that the problems began. Someone found the key and ran off to get the car. I asked for the manager and everyone laughed. Someone said he was the manager and said that his name was John Smith. I decided to escalate the problem and walked to the front desk and the person at the front desk refused to acknowledge the problem and said there was no manager available. Once the car finally arrived, I asked to talk to the manager again and John smith came out now saying he was John Denato. He said that he didn’t care if I was the chairman CHOA that I should just leave. Then he called a traffic officer to come out threatening to cite me in if I didn’t move my car. Such a shame considering the long history of the St Regis and the Hope and Will Ball benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. Definitely a stain on an otherwise remarkable event. It’s unfortunate that St Regis allows a subcontractor to represent them in such a manner.

Our New Years Day meal was very disappointing. The restaurant was not very busy when we walked in and there was a steady stream of guests for lunch during our visit. The food was good, not great, not terrible! The lobster bisque was served room temperature, our French fries ordered mid meal took a while to arrive. The cheesecake was fantastic, despite the wait! The service was lacking; not at all as expected from the St Regis. We constantly asked others on the floor for assistance; our server was not to be seen. Our table was not cleared in a timely manner, I asked several times for my water to be refilled and our cheesecake order took a long time.

Planned a romantic staycation with my wife and was disappointing we couldn't use our suite upgrade, however the service wa great a the room we were assigned was also very nice. Since Marriott purchased the St Regis and Ritz Carlton brands Marriott Corp has really reduced and diminished the quality and level of service previously provided and guests expected from what was a five star property brand. We had reservations at the on-site restaurant Atlas and a couples massage at the spa, the service was great and look forward to coming back in the future.

We were there for Tea with Santa. Our daughter had a great experience. The Santa makes time with every table and the staff is very attentive. Our daughter even ate the sandwiches they provided which were outside her norm. Every kid gets a photo with Santa and an elf even comes around making balloon hats. It’s a great experience for children.

So first of all, i didn’t want to have to write this but after 3 weeks of waiting for a reply from upper management, i decided to write to let other guests know some of the realities of this specific establishment, this review however is not representative of Atlas and it’s subsidiaries. I was wrongfully discriminated while visiting a friend in this establishment and was escorted off the property by Atlanta Police Department after a staff member by the name of Ashley, decided that the way I was dressed was not up to her standards as I am a fashion designer and my outfits are sometimes exciting and eccentric and Different. While in the establishment, I was wrongly accused of not being a guest when I have been a patron of the St.Regis for years actually, and after flying in from a vacation, this was the worst feeling as I had never even interacted with this person before, especially coming from another Black woman, this was upsetting.

Substandard accommodations certain not luxury as promoted. Front desk experience took 45 minutes due to inexperience and my suite was not ready for early check in. Requested upgrade and was given downgrade. Service for champagne but no one was hired to pour it. Room service missed our order due to inability to speak English and by the time we found out, the kitchen was closed. Brendan the manager has zero customer service skills. He has no superiors and would not resolve the issue. In the evenings, this hotel allows non guests to party, drink and engage in illegal behavior in front of the hotel with zero policing. A wedding ended and as we were returning we witness debauchery, drug use, wedding guests puking with a minor child on my arm. I reported this to Brendan and he was dismissive. Not luxury.and does not cater to high end guests. We want and expect crème de la crème care. No one should call to complain at this level. Shame on you for falsely advertising your level of care. I would have a 24 hour bellman. Plus security for weddings. Send Brendan to the kitchen and remove any management duties because he has concept of superior hotel luxury care. He may work out better at a Holiday Inn. Hire people that speak English for room service and front desk. Also there was a girl half deaf at the from desk yesterday and she was reading lips. There is a better suited job for her at the hotel but not at the front desk. 3 stars out of 10…. Poor service poor accommodations no concept of luxury stay defined

Went there as an activity while visiting Atlanta and is was lovely! A fun afternoon activity and they were very festive for Halloween - a live singer with a Sax accompanying lightly playing in the lobby as we had tea and hors d'oeuvres! I was there with a girlfriend, but families were there, one parent and one child or groups of people - you get to smell and pick out your tea flavors, it’s very interactive and darling!

Absolutely horrible stay. Began with the room having a broken door lock that couldn't be repaired, inadequate lighting in the room, the in room iPad not working, and lighting panel beside the bed inoperable. Ended with people waking me up knocking at my door on both mornings at 8:15 am and then a service man briefly knocking and then trying to enter my room immediately in the morning. Thankfully the safety lock was on. While they apologized and acknowledged the things were unacceptable, there were some rude associates, namely Charmane the phone operator. The worst hotel stay I have ever had.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL IVE EVER HAD OUT OF 650+ RESERVATIONS. I’m an Ambassador Elite Member with Marriott meaning I’ve stayed over 100 nights and spent more than $23,000 per year to earn my status. I arrived at the hotel where I had a reservation that I booked directly through the official website and app of the hotel and paid with a Marriott credit card. I was told I didn’t have a reservation by the 2 front desk employees that were clearly having a bad day and were sick and tired of their job with the worst attitude and customer service skills I have ever seen at a hotel. I showed my confirmation email on my phone and confirmation reservation on the BONVOY app but they said they don’t have a reservation for me instead of handling their business and making an effort to accommodate me when I showed proof of my reservation. I remained calm and kind and spoke with a professional tone the entire time. I was dressed appropriately and professionally, had only one suitcase and a backpack, and if I do say so myself looked like a respectable man like I always do so I don’t think I was being turned away for my appearance or presentation. I stood back and called Marriott reservations from my mobile phone on speaker so the hotel front desk agents could hear. I was directed to the Ambassador line and was promptly connected with a representative that verified my reservation details and address of the St. Regis I was at. The 2 front desk employees refused to speak to the customer service representative I was on the phone with and were completely unhelpful. I then asked the customer service representative from Marriott to call the hotel and help me sort this issue out as I sat down in the lobby for over 40 minutes and waited. The hotel employee at the front desk only seemed to get more rude and less helpful as the minutes went by. At the end of this ordeal I was forced to ask the hotel employees to book me a new reservation at the walk in rate that was nearly 4 times the rate I had reserved online with the official website of the hotel. There are so many more details that I could write about this terrible check in experience but I’ll stop right here. TERRIBLE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB IN CUSTOMER SERVICE OR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

The Hotel is beautiful! However, I was booked here for a Deluxe King Room with a balcony through American Express fine hotels and resorts. Upon arrival, they didn’t have the standard letter from American Express available that welcomes you and delineates the benefits during your stay. They also put me in a room that was different than what I booked without communicating it to me. I had to find out when I went to the room that there was no balcony and no view.

Every year I take my sisters to Astor Court for their birthdays. This year’s lunch was beyond expectation! The food was wonderful, the service stellar and the ambience set in the beautiful St. Regis made for a memorable celebration. This is also one of the few restaurants anymore where conversation with your party can actually be heard without having to yell across the table. A very special place for special occasions.

Went to experience their high afternoon tea. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was great, and it was a pleasure to have my first high tea experience here. The food was good. Going back and forth from savory and sweet is a good idea to keep from hitting the wall from the flavors as there's a good selection they give you. My party had some with certain food allergies, and they made sure those were considered and cared for! Would recommend them for not just a first experience but also just an all around fun time with the girls (or anyone in general!)

Main con: AC was broken, had to call an engineer at midnight, who was nice. Their fix was lacking, and I could not sleep. Had to call another engineer the following day, who seemed annoyed. Too hot to sleep once again. Smaller cons: bathroom floor could use a bit better cleaning, no towels at the poolside, iPad in room wasn’t working. Pros: beautifully maintained property otherwise. Everyone was nice. Just expected a higher standard from the Regis.

We always love going to the Saint Regis, and we have been to this location several times. We brought our two and four-year-old with us this time and they had a blast! Everyone made them feel so special, with stuffed animals and popcorn and a movie in the room. The pool is great for a little kids, we had such a fun time!

Everything you would expect from the St. Regis name. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; the rooms are impeccably cleaned and fully supplied with anything you could need; the amenities and restaurants are neat as well. Tons of great bars and food in walking distance and there is a car that will take you places in the area. Make sure you make reservations for The Atlas and The Garden when you book your room as they are NOT a part of the hotel, just housed in it.

Listen, I was here over the weekend into Monday for Pinky Coles wedding, and my cousin and I had a grand time. Everything was very nice. The only thing was, I wish they would consider offering some sort of complimentary breakfast, and parking would have been a bit cheaper. Other than that, I love it. My cousin made a reservation for us to do a tea party. The staff was very nice and even offered to take our pics. After we left the young man in the pic, he offered to take our pics as well. I thought that was nice. I would recommend everyone who is interested in trying this out whenever you're visiting The St. Regis Atlanta. Things seem expensive, but things are expensive everywhere. You'll get the value for your money, enjoy.

I was charged for a stay that I booked with points. The manager told me I was not “authorized to stay”. But still charged me. Unethical and fraudulent. Will be disputing the bank charge. Was not offered my Platinum Elite upgrade upon checkin. The bellman kept putting my shoulder bag on the floor instead of on top of the luggage (so unsanitary). The gentleman that checked me in was amazing (kind and lighthearted)! On one valet request, I had to ask for my car twice. On the next valet request, when checking out, valet disturbed me by calling to tell me the car is at the front already (basically telling me to hurry up). Overall, valet staff was kind. Butlers are disgustingly rude. But you have to speak with them for any/every request. Cleaning lady “huffed and puffed” as she cleaned my bathroom. Managers are even more rude. I will spare the details because it would just turn into a novel. But I see where the staff gets the lack of training. The manager said she would call me back, which she failed to do. Therefore, I left a message for Kari Hardiman, Director, and never received a returned phone call from her either. Last time I stayed here for approximately 1 month and didn’t enjoy the stay that time either. But I thought it was due to my own personal stress. This visit, I realized this staff is just rude and racist (even some of the black butlers). Astoria didn’t know how to pack a togo cup of tea. Room service delivered my chicken cobb salad with no chicken. I would conclude that this staff is miserable and under paid. Not taking any of their actions personally. Would recommend Marriott to train them better. I was more stressed than refreshed after leaving.

Buckhead. Not close to anything. Rooms were ok, but there was clear evidence shower had leaked into foyer space. We had booked meeting rooms and the overhead lights dimmed up and down, flickered the entire 3-day meeting we held there. Front desk couldn't make change to tip housekeeping (housekeeping was a shjning light in this hotel - they do exceptional work). We ordered lunch at noon at the hotel in the mezzanine restaurant, tables weren't set, we were handed the wrong menus (breakfast), it took over an hour to get food, and my colleague was served wine (after waiting 30 minutes and asking where it was) that was a) not what he ordered, b) had started to spoil. Even though this is a suburban hotel and should have a welcoming and gracious lobby, you have to go up to 4th floor to find food and beverage options. I would not stay here outside of a mandatory work event.
